I'm finally back! I don't own anything, enjoy the chapter
The next day
Maylu woke up the next day and ran to Lan's house. She felt bad about all of this and just wanted to talk to him. When she got to the front door, she rang on the doorbell and hope for Lan to answer the door, but it wasn't him. It was Princess Pride who had answer the door.
"Ah, is this Lan's house?" Maylu asks.
"Yes this is Lan's house. Are you looking for him?" Princess asks back. Maylu nods her head. "Lan, someone is here for you". She left the door and a minute later, Lan came to the door with his pjs still on.
"What do you want Maylu?" Lan said coldly.
"I want to talk to you. Look, I get how you feeling at the moment. I know you're mad at me.." Malyu said before Lan interrupt her.
"Mad? Oh I'm not mad, I'm furious! Ok, even if you did like me or not, as your best friend, you could of told me" Lan said.
"I know and I'm sorry for not telling you. It's just...it's just that I knew that we kind of had a thing and I thought being in college may change things. I thought we were going to the same college, but that change. I met Dex and we started to hang out. By third year, he popped the question on me. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't about to say no because I thought I never was going to see you again" Maylu explains. Lan was still staring at her coldly.
"I don't get it. We talk and video chat almost everyday and not once you ask about visiting each other. So you just lied to yourself right there. Maylu, I think it will be best to stay with your 'husband' instead of visiting me. That includes sending Roll to see Megaman because he don't want to see her," Lan said as he was about to shut the door.
"Who was that girl that answer the door?" Maylu asks as Lan laughs.
"Like you want to know, but I'm not telling you. Maybe I will tell you in two years or more" Lan answers as he removes her hand from the door and shuts it. Lan walks into the kitchen to see the princess sitting on the counter.
"Was that the girl you were telling me about yesterday?" she asks as Lan nods his head.
"She was trying to tell me that she knows how I'm feeling. She will never know how I'm feeling" Lan said as the Princess hands him a water bottle.
"Lan, can we talk about something else. Like what happen last night?" she said as Lan starts to blush.
"What about it?" He asks. Pride sat right in front of him
"The kiss. Did you like it?" Pride asks as Lan starts to look away. She grabs his chin and face him towards her.
"It was good." Lan answer as Pride smiles.
"Good. So what does this mean, between you and me?" Pride asks.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend? I mean you don't have to, but that what I think it means between you and me" Lan said as he starts to look away, but Pride grabs his chin and makes him face her. She kisses Lan and he kisses her back. They broke the kiss two minutes later and they smile at each other. What they didn't know is that Yai was still outside watching them from the window. She jumps off the garbage can and ran to Maylu's house. When she got to the doorstep, she bang on the door. Maylu answers the door and Yai ran inside.
"I was right!" Yai screams.
"Shhhh! Right about what?" Maylu said as she is shushing Yai because Dex was upstairs sleep.
"About Lan and the girl you was talking about," Yai whispers.
"What you mean? Aren't they just friends?" Maylu asks as she went into the kitchen. Yai follows her and sat down at the table. Maylu puts some food out in front of her.
"I was standing on the garbage can outside the kitchen window. She was talking about the kiss they already had and Lan said it was good," Yai said as Maylu spits out water from her mouth.
"Wait what? What kiss?" Maylu said a little bit louder then she thought. She waits a little bit to see if Dex woke up, but he didn't.
"Yeah, they already kiss and that was mu reaction too, well without the water coming out my mouth. Anyway, Lan asks her to be his girlfriend.." Yai said before Maylu slams the table.
"What did she say?!" Maylu yells as Yai stares at her. Maylu realizes what she was doing and sat back down.
"Mayl, do you still have feelings for Lan? Because you wouldn't get so wound up into something like this" Yai asks. Maylu looks away for a minute, then back at Yai.
"Yes...no...maybe...I don't know. It's been a while since I saw him and I guess that old feelings are returning, but answer my question Yai" Maylu said as Yai nods her head.
"She didn't say anything. She kissed him and he kissed her back. So I guess they're dating now. Maybe I can get Chaud to ask him." Yai said as Maylu stares at her.
"Why can't you ask him?" Maylu asks. Yai gives Maylu a look.
"Because he's mad at me too, remember? I didn't tell him that you and Dex got married so he's mad at me as well, but not as much as you." Yai said as she takes her phone out and texts Chaud to ask Lan.
"Did you just text him?" Maylu asks as Yai nods her head. Maylu shakes her head and continues to drink her water.
Chaud's place
Chaud was just chilling in his room until he got a text from Yai.
It reads: Chaud, can you go to Lan' house and ask do he have a girlfriend. If so, send me a pic of her.
Chaud texts back: Why are you interested if Lan has a girlfriend or not?
Yai texts back: Well, I'm curious while Maylu is the one that's interested in knowing
Chaud texts back: Why Maylu wants to know? She's married so she don't need to know about his personal life
Yai texts back: Well, find out for me
Chaud texts back: What's in it for me?
Yai texts back: This Saturday, you and me go on a date
Chaud texts back: Okay, that sounds good with me. Also, I'll find out, but you can't tell Maylu if she is or not, deal?
Yai texts back: Deal
Chaud got his jacket and heads out to Lan's house.
A couple of hours later
Chaud knocks on the door to Lan's house. Lan opens the door.
"Hey Chaud, come on in" Lan said as he steps aside so Chaud can walk in. When Chaud walks into the kitchen, he see Princess Pride making sandwiches on the table.
"Ah Lan, who is this?" Chaud asks.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you guys haven't met. Chaud, I would like you to meet Princess Pride, of Brightland. Princess, this is my best friend Chaud" Lan answers. The princess sticks her hand out and Chaud shook it.
"It's nice to meet you" Chaud said.
"Same to you" Princess Pride said.
"So you're his girlfriend or just friends?" Chaud asks as Lan looks at him. His face turns red.
"What does that mean? I can't know a cute girl is what you're trying to say?" Lan asks as Princess Prides starts to laugh.
"Yes, I'm his girlfriend now. I hope I get to know you more Chaud" Princess Pride said as Chaud smiles. While the three of them kept talking, Yai was, again, back outside sitting on the garbage cans next to the window. She just got there
"Chaud is getting really fond with her" Yai said as she jumps off the garbage cans. She heads to her limo and drives off. Back in the house, Chaud's phone went off.
Yai: Time to come back to my place
"Well guys, it's time for me to leave. I wish you guys the best" Chaud said. They walk to the front door. As Chaud was about to leave, Lan made a comment.
"I hope that you stop trying to act really cool on Yai and just finally ask her out" Lan said as Chaud slightly blushes.
"Shut up Lan" Chaud said. "I won't tell anyone about this if you don't tell anyone about my feelings for Yai". He went into his limo and left.
"Chaud is really nice Lan," Princess Pride said. Lan wraps his arm around her waist.
"I know. He sometimes let his coolness get in the way of his personality" Lan said as he shuts the door.
When Chaud arrives at Maylu's place, Dex was making out with Maylu.
"Okay, next time when Yai invites me over, no showing love around me" Chaud said as Maylu playfully pushes Dex away. Dex went back upstairs. Maylu motions Chaud to follow her into the kitchen where Yai was sitting at the table.
"So, who was that girl?" Yai asks.
"Her name is Princess Pride. You guys already met her before" Chaud said.
"Lan is friends with the Princess from Brightland?" Maylu asks.
"I decided not to tell you guys Princess Pride and Lan's relationship and what it is. When Lan is ready to tell you guys what it is, he will tell you." Chaud said.
"So they are in a relationship?" Maylu asks.
"I'm not telling you. It could be a friendship or boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. I just wanted to tell you guys at least what's her name." Chaud said.
"Maylu, can you wait in the living room for a little bit while me and Chaud chat?" Yai asks as Maylu leaves them alone.
"Can you tell me what they are then?" Yai ask she sits a little bit closer to Chaud. Chaud looks away.
"I don't think it will be right for me to tell you. Why don't you ask Lan?" Chaud asks.
"Because he may still be mad at me and I don't want to take my chance of getting yelled at by him. He kind of scared me when he was talking to Maylu" Yai answers.
Chaud smiles as he stands up and heads for the door. Yai follows him and grabs his hand. Chaud turns around and faces Yai. He grabs her other hand.
"On saturday I will tell you what I know" Chaud as he took one of his hands back and opens the door.
"What's happening on Saturday?" Yai asks. Chaud smiles at her again.
"Our date, see you then" Chaud answers as he winks at her and leaves. Yai blushes as she shuts the door. Maylu walks into the hallway and start making oohing sounds.
"Oh hush Maylu" Yai said as she walks into the kitchen and Maylu follows her.
