Author's Notes: Hey everyone, AnotherAnonymooseWriter here. Here's a bit of a surprise, I'm posting early! The main reason is because I'm fully booked on Sunday, so I can't write or post then. (Thursday, 10:15AM; House; Akihito's PoV)

Aki: "Thank you so much, Sayori!"

Sayori: "Ehehe, don't worry about it. Anyways, that's all I wanted to call you for."

Aki: "Alright, thank you so much, Sayori. Bye."

Sayori: "Bye, Aki."

I cut the call, and put my phone in my pocket. As soon as I walk out of my room, my phone receives a text message from Monika. I open the message and… what the fuck?

Monika: we need to talk like right fucking now

Scared out of my mind, I immediately call Monika.

Monika: "Aki?"

Aki: "Talk to me. What's wrong?"

Monika: "U-um…"

Aki: "Alright, I'm coming over. I don't give a shit what you say, expect me in ten minutes."

Monika: "Wait!-"

I cut the call and dig through my closet to find anything decent to wear. After finding a good enough attire, I head out the door.

Akira: "Aki? Where are you going?"

Aki: "Something urgent! Bye Mom!"

Akira: "Bye A-"

I don't even hear Mom finish, I make a run for it straight to Monika's house. As I'm heading there, Monika's giving me endless calls, which I don't pick up. After around the tenth one, I decide to pick up.

Aki: "What is it?!"

Monika: "Aki, you don't need to come here!"

Aki: "Too late."

Monika: "Aki!-"

That's the third, and hopefully last time I've cut off someone. I'm only two minutes away from Monika's house. As soon as I arrive, I ring the doorbell and knock furiously. Monika opens the door immediately.

Monika: "Aki you didn't have to-"

Aki: "Save it. This is really important if you yourself swear. So, tell me what happened."

Monika: "Alright. I guess I have no other choice. Come in."

I head inside Monika's house, and I notice something's off.

Aki: "Where's Natsuki?"

Monika: "That's what I wanted to talk to you about."

Aki: "No…"

Monika: "H-her father… came here…"

Aki: "FUCK!"

I slam the wall in anger, but not too hard as to not break it. Monika slightly flinches at my sudden outburst.

Aki: "Sorry about that."

Monika: "It's fine… a-also…"

Aki: "There's more?!"

Monika: "H-he knows… about the case…"

Aki: "FUCKING HELL! AAAAARGH!"

I'm about to slam my fist against the wall again, but I stop myself. I don't want to scare Monika more, and possibly put a dent in her wall. I then take a few deep breaths to calm myself down.

Aki: "Alright. No more raging. Anything else that I should know about?"

Monika: "W-well… before he left… he said that he'd be back in a threatening tone…"

Aki: "So… Natsuki's gone with her father? Back to their place?"

Monika nods her head. I can't believe it. How did it all mess up? It was going so well!

Monika: "W-what are we supposed to do now?"

Aki: "I… I don't know. I didn't expect this… so I can't think of anything right now."

Monika: "Would it be a good idea to… go to Natsuki's house and save her?"

Aki: "Are you out of your mind?! Her father is there! He's already extremely pissed at Natsuki, you don't think he'll have the same rage towards you?!"

Monika: "I-I'm sorry…"

Monika drops her head and stays silent. I realize how hurt Monika must be after I yelled at her. She's already scared at the fact that Natsuki left in front of her eyes, and it doesn't help yelling at her.

Aki: "Hey… I'm sorry for getting mad… I didn't mean to…"

Monika: "It's okay…"

Aki: "But, I don't think going to her house would be a good idea right now. As much as I don't want to think about it, her father is probably beating the shit out of her right now. Going there now will only make him more mad, and we might get hurt as well."

Monika: "So then… what can we do?"

Aki: "I know this isn't the best option but… I think we need to stay away from her for a bit. Let's not do anything today, I don't want to risk coming in contact with her father and getting seriously hurt."

Monika: "Is there really no other option?"

Aki: "There probably is, but we can't rush things right now. I mean, it's not like we can make a miracle happen right now."

Monika: "Wait! That's it!"

Aki: "Huh?"

Monika: "Let's make a miracle happen!"

Aki: "Monika, this isn't some story for miracles to just happen out of the blue."

Monika: "I know! But hear me out."

Aki: "I'm listening."

Monika: "What if we go to the police station right now, and tell them to go to Natsuki's house? That way, when they arrive, they'll catch her father in the act. He's sure to get arrested!"

Aki: "That's… actually really smart."

Monika: "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Monika and I rush to the police station. Once we arrive, we go up to the receptionist at the front desk.

Receptionist: "Can I help you two?"

Monika: "Yes, we were here a few days ago."

Receptionist: "I think I remember, the child abuse case, correct?"

Monika: "Yeah, that's us. We suspect that her father is abusing our friend right now as we speak?"

Receptionist: "How can you be so sure?"

Monika: "For the past few days, she was staying at my house to hide from her father, but around twenty minutes ago her father found her. He took her back home, and we believe that he's currently hitting her right now."

Receptionist: "Hmm… I do see where you're coming from. Alright, let's do this. We'll send a couple of officers to the place right now, and if we catch the assaulter in the act, we'll arrest him. Sounds good?"

Monika: "Thank you so much!"

Receptionist: "It's no problem. Let me call a few officers, and you can head with them to the scene. Please wait in the lobby in the meanwhile."

Monika and I then head to the lobby as instructed. A few minutes later, two police officers come out, most likely for us. They spot us, and start to come towards us.

Officer: "Are you two the people for the child abuse case?"

Monika: "Yes sir."

Officer: "Come with us. We're going to head to their residency since that's where you suspect the act is occurring right now."

We follow the officers to the police car. Monika gives the driver directions to Natsuki's place, and we reach there within ten minutes. Just before we arrive, I ask the driver to turn off all the sirens to not raise suspicion, which they do.

Officer: "You two stay here, we will head up to the place."

Monika: "Okay."

The officers head up to the door and knock on it, and the door soon opens.

(Thursday, 11:00AM; House; Natsuki's PoV)

I can't take it anymore… he's been beating me for who knows how long…

Father: "You have the gall to leave my house and not come back?!"

Another flurry of hits.

Natsuki: "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"

Father: "Bullshit! You even filed a police complaint against me!"

Natsuki: "That wasn't me!"

Father: "I don't want to hear it!"

He continues to hit me. As if an angel saw what was happening, there's a knock on the door.

Father: "God fucking dammit… don't you dare try and escape this time!"

He then goes to the door to open it.

Father: "What the hell do you want?"

No way… is that the police?

Officer: "Hello sir. We have reasons to believe that you are abusing a child at this moment. Is this true?"

Father: "Why do you think that?"

Officer: "That's classified sir. Please answer my question."

Father: "No, I am not."

Oh ho ho ho, he's not getting away that easily. Now with the protection of the police, I can finally do this. I inhale and prepare to scream at the top of my lungs.

Natsuki: "HE'S LYING! PLEASE HELP ME!"

Officer: "Sir? What was that?"

Father: "That?" Must be the TV."

Natsuki: "IT'S NOT THE TV! PLEASE HELP ME! HE'S BEEN HITTING ME FOR SO LONG!"

Officer: "Sir, I'm going to have to search your house."

Father: "Wait!-"

The officer doesn't hear his words, and walks right past him. He then comes to the living room where I am, and spots me.

Natsuki: "Please help me…"

Officer: "Sir? Care to explain this?"

Father: "That? That's just my daughter, she must've fell or something."

Natsuki: "He's lying!"

Officer: "I think I've seen enough."

The officer then takes out his handcuffs, and puts them around Father's hands.

Father: "What do you think you're doing?"

Officer: "Sir, you have the right to remain silent."

The officer then turns towards me.

Officer: "Ma'am? You have some visitors. Please follow me."

Huh? What does he mean by visitors? I follow the officer outside, but slowly. I can't really walk that well after that beating. Once I'm outside I see… no way!

Natsuki: "You guys are here!"

Monika: "Oh my god, Natsuki! Are you okay?!"

Natsuki: "N-not really…"

Monika: "Do you need to go to the hospital or something?!"

Natsuki: "No! I-I mean uh… I'll be fine."

Aki: "You sure? That looks really, really bad."

Natsuki: "I'll be fine, I promise. It does hurt right now, but I'll be fine in a few days. I'm used to it anyways."

Monika: "That's… very concerning…"

Officer: "Excuse me, am I interrupting anything?"

I turn around to see the officer behind me. Behind him, I see Father in the police car.

Monika: "Not at all, sir."

Officer: "Very well. I'm just here to ask if you'd like to head to a hospital."

Natsuki: "It's okay."

Officer: "Are you sure?"

Natsuki: "I'm positive."

Officer: "Okay then. I'll be taking your father to the police station for interrogation. After that, you won't have to worry about him again. We'll be sending him to prison afterwards."

Monika: "Thank you so much officer."

Officer: "Anytime. That's what we're here for."

The officer then heads back to the police car and drives off.

Aki: "So… I guess we did it?"

Natsuki: "I guess so."

Aki: "I thought this would be more of a celebratory moment but uh… never mind."

Natsuki: "No no, I understand. I'm glad he's gone. I know I'll be a little sad afterwards, but I'll get over it."

Aki: "Well, I guess we can move on to the next thing. It's time for you to move into your new home!"

Natsuki: "Wait, what?!"

Aki: "Oh right, I completely forgot to tell you. You're gonna be housemates with Sayori!"

Natsuki: "Really? That's amazing!"

Aki: "Yep! Now, pack your things. We're heading there right now."

Natsuki: "Okay!"

I head inside my house and start packing. Once I leave this place, I'll never have to deal with it again. I grab a suitcase, and pack what I have here. Most of my important stuff is at Monika's place, so I need to drop by there and pick up those as well. Once I'm finished, I head outside again.

Natsuki: "Alright, I'm ready. But first, I need to do something."

Monika: "What is it?"

Natsuki: "I need to head back to your place to get my other stuff."

Monika: "Oh right. Let's get going then!"

We begin the trek towards Monika's house. Once we reach there, I get my stuff that I left there. After I collect those, I take my two suitcases back outside.

Natsuki: "Okay, I got all my stuff."

Aki: "Want me to carry a suitcase?"

Natsuki: "You think I'm weak or something?"

Aki: "N-no! It's not that!"

Natsuki: "Hahaha, I'm just joking. And yes, that would be really appreciated."

I hand Aki one of the suitcases, which he takes with ease. After that, we head towards Sayori's place, also known as my new home.

Aki: "I already called Sayori beforehand to let her know we'd be there soon. She's currently getting ready."

Natsuki: "That's good to know. I wonder how living with Sayori will be like."

Aki: "Well, she's gonna ask you to bake a lot of cupcakes, that's for sure. And you're probably gonna do a lot of cooking, since she isn't capable of doing it."

Natsuki: "What do you mean by that?"

Aki: "Y'know, the whole thing about her almost burning her house down by boiling water."

Natsuki: "Oh, that. I'm sure she's improved since then."

Aki: "Let me know if she does."

We soon reach Sayori's house, and Monika knocks on the door. Almost immediately, Sayori opens the door.

Sayori: "I'm so exci- OHMYGODNATSUKIWHATHAPPENEDTOYOU-"

Natsuki: "Calm the fuck down! I can't understand what you're saying!"

Sayori: "What happened to you?!"

Natsuki: "What do you think?"

Sayori: "Oh right… sorry…"

Natsuki: "It's fine. And I'll be fine in a few days, don't worry about me."

Sayori: "If you say so… anyways, come on in!"

We three enter Sayori's house.

Natsuki: "Wow Sayori, your house looks really cool!"

Sayori: "No no no, our house."

Natsuki: "Alright alright, our house."

I then hear Aki whisper to Monika.

Aki: "You think they're gonna get along well?"

Natsuki: "I heard that!"

Aki: "Heh, sorry."

Natsuki: "To answer your question, yes we are going to get along."

Sayori: "You got that right!"

Aki: "Alright, I think we're gonna leave you two alone now. You guys have some bonding time. Come on, Monika, let's get going."

Natsuki: "Ooh, gonna have some fun time?"

Aki: "...shut up."

We all laugh as Aki and Monika leave.

Sayori: "So, what should we do first, housemate?"

Natsuki: "Hmm… I don't know…"

Sayori: "Ooh, I got it!"

Oh, living with Sayori is gonna be great, I just know it.
