(Thursday, 12:30PM; House; Akihito's PoV)

Monika: "You two, stand back to back."

Aki: "Uhh… okay?"

Yuri and I stand back to back as instructed by Monika. I assume she's trying to compare our heights. I don't know why though, I thought she would have noticed by now.

Monika: "Holy… wow. Aki, how tall are you?"

Aki: "A very reasonable five foot eight."

Monika: "When did you find out that Yuri is taller than you?"

Aki: "The very first day I joined the club. Although, I think I grew an inch since then."

Monika: "So… Yuri, you're five foot nine?"

Yuri: "Y-yes… why?"

Monika: "Nothing. Thanks!"

Monika then walks off to Sayori and Natsuki as if nothing happened, leaving me with Yuri.

Yuri: "W-what was Monika trying to do just now?"

Aki: "Oh, she didn't believe me when I said that you were slightly taller than me. So, she wanted to see for herself."

Yuri: "Why would she want to compare?"

Aki: "Dunno. I told her that the bowling order is in height order, and I guess she assumed that I'd be the tallest since I'm a guy. Don't take it personally though, Yuri. I'm sure she didn't mean any harm."

Yuri: "O-okay…"

I then turn towards the others.

Aki: "Well, shall we get started?"

Everyone gives a positive response, and we begin our bowling game.

We all enjoy our time bowling. There would be the harmless trash talk here and there, and I would sometimes crack a few jokes. Every minute everyone was smiling, even if they made a bad bowl.

Overall, I think it's safe to say that everyone had a fun time. Especially Natsuki, because she's been through a lot, not just these past few days, but basically her whole life. I'm glad that she's escaped that hellhole called her home, and most importantly her terrible father.

After our game of bowling, we all head out of the bowling arena, thinking of what to do next.

Aki: "Sooo… what's next?"

Sayori: "Lunch?"

Yuri: "It is a little past our regular lunchtime, and I am feeling a little hungry. I supposed lunch would not be a bad idea right now."

Natsuki: "Jeez Yuri, you don't have to be so formal here. It's just us y'know."

Monika: "Natsuki, give her a break. Let her speak how she wants. And to answer your question Sayori, lunch would be great right now."

Aki: "Alright, let's head to the food court!"

We all head to the food court, and stand in the entrance, deciding what to eat.

Natsuki: "What're we gonna have?"

Sayori: "Let's have pizza!"

Aki: "Yeah!"

Monika: "Aki, don't you remember what the doctor told you?"

Aki: "Uhh… what?"

Monika: "He said no fatty foods. So no pizza for you."

Aki: "Aw come on! Just this one time! Please?"

Monika: "Nope. The doctor's words are final."

Aki: "Then what am I gonna have?"

Monika: "Hmm… how about a salad?"

Aki: "You're kidding."

Monika: "Aki, I'm serious."

As Monika and I are arguing, I can hear the other three snickering.

Aki: "Then what are you guys gonna have?"

Monika: "They will have pizza. I'll share the salad with you so that you're not alone."

Aki: "Fiiine…"

Monika: "Good. Now, do you mind buying the pizza?"

Aki: "Hell no! I'm not paying for food I'm not gonna have! Buy it yourself!"

Monika: "...alright."

Monika then pulls out her purse and grabs some money. She then hands that money to Sayori.

Monika: "Here, buy a pizza with this. Aki and I will buy the salad. We'll both meet up at a table."

Sayori: "Okay! Come on girls!"

Sayori heads towards the pizza store, with Yuri and Natsuki behind them. Monika and I go to another random store I've never even heard of. Then, I come up with a brilliant idea.

Aki: "Hey, Monika?"

Monika: "You're not getting pizza."

Aki: "It's not that, I promise."

Monika: "Alright, talk."

Aki: "Ok so, hear me out. There's this restaurant that makes subs, and there's a variety of toppings, including various vegetables. Instead of getting a boring salad, can we go there instead?"

Monika: "Hmm…"

Aki: "I promise to get vegetables only."

Monika: "I'm interested…"

Welp, time to play my last card.

Aki: "I'll pay for both our subs."

Monika: "That's all you had to say! Let's get going!"

Heh, I guess offering to pay is all it took.

We then head to the restaurant and order our subs. I also get 5 cookies for each of us. Once we get the subs, we head back out to the main dining area. Monika then pulls out her phone, presumably to call Sayori.

Monika: "Hey, did you guys get a table?"

A short pause, most likely Sayori speaking.

Monika: "Really? Where are you?"

Another pause. Monika scans the room, most likely to find the others.

Monika: "I don't see you, you mind coming to where we are? We're at the Subw-"

Aki: "I see them. Let's go."

Monika: "Nevermind, we found you. We're coming there."

Monika then cuts the call, and we head to the table.

Sayori: "You guys got subs? I thought you were getting salads!"

Aki: "We were, but I managed to convince Monika to get subs instead. All it took was to offer to pay for everything."

Monika: "Hey, that's not the full reason!"

Aki: "And I had to get only vegetables."

Monika: "Yep! Plus, I like this place."

Aki: "Shall we start? I got a small surprise once we're finished."

Sayori: "Ooh a surprise? What is it?"

Aki: "Sayori, it's called a surprise for a reason. I promise I'll show it to everyone once we're finished eating."

Sayori: "Aww… okay…"

We all giggle a bit, and then begin to eat. Lunch was very enjoyable for everyone, and I actually like the sub. In a way, I'm glad that Monika told me to not have pizza. The moment everyone is finished with their lunch, Sayori jumps back to life.

Sayori: "Alright, surprise. Now!"

Aki: "Alright alright, calm down. Here it is."

I pull out the cookies, and Sayori's face immediately lights up.

Sayori: "Cookies! Gimmie gimmie gimmie!"

Aki: "Calm down! I got one for everyone, let me give everyone their cookie first."

I then pass out the cookies to everyone. As soon as I hand Sayori hers, she immediately bites down into it.

Sayori: "Mmmmm… sho good…"

Aki: "You're welcome."

Everyone finishes their cookies, and then we head back to the main area of the mall.

Aki: "Sooo… what's next?"

Monika: "Back to where we started, eh?"

Aki: "Hey, it's not a bad question! I mean, we do need a plan, right?"

Monika: "I guess you're right…"

Aki: "I don't know this mall that well actually, so you guys have to decide on what to do. Assuming that you know this place better than I do."

Monika: "There's not really much more than the bowling and food court. Window shopping with five people would just be too chaotic, so that's out the window."

Aki: "How about the arcade?"

Sayori: "Ooh, that's a good idea!"

Aki: "Alright then, let's get going!"

Monika: "Stealing my lines now, are we?"

Aki: "Oh come on, it's not like I'm just copying and pasting lines. Plus, last time I checked you don't hold copyright to it."

Monika: "...fair."

Everyone laughs at our exchange, and we head to the arcade. Once we're there, we each buy passes that let us play unlimited games for two hours.

Aki: "Full disclosure, these cards won't get us tickets. So, I'm sorry Monika that I won't be able to get you any plushies today."

Monika: "As if you'd be able to."

Aki: "Hey, I'm good at arcade games!"

Monika: "Oh really? Wanna test that out at the skee ball?"

Aki: "Oh, I see how it is. Then what about the racing games?"

Monika immediately falls silent at the mention of the racing games.

Aki: "Where's your confidence now?"

Monika: "S-shut up."

Aki: "Alright, we'll all play skee ball. Plus, I want to see if you or Sayori is better."

We all head to the skee ball machine. To our luck, there were five machines open, so we all could play at the same time.

Aki: "Well would you look at that. We all can play at the same time."

Monika: "Guess we all have a competition among us!"

Sayori: "Let's do this!"

We all swipe our cards at the same time, and everyone begins to play. Not a single word is uttered between us since we're all so concentrated on the game. Once everyone is finished, we all step back.

Monika: "Alrighty, let's take a look here."

Monika then walks over to my machine.

Monika: "Only 9,000? Hah, amateur."

Natsuki: "Did I hear 9,000? Jeez, I thought I was bad!"

Aki: "Let's see yours then."

We both walk over to Natsuki's, and sure enough, she beats me with 11,000.

Monika: "Hah, I still scored higher."

Monika walks over to her machine, and proudly shows off her 17,000.

Monika: "Not my best, but it's still good."

Sayori: "Amateurs…"

Monika: "What was that?"

Sayori: "You all are trash! Look at me!"

We all look at Sayori's machine to see 20,000.

Sayori: "Hah! Looks like I won!"

Yuri: "G-guys? I-I think m-my machine broke… i-it's flashing…"

Flashing? That can only mean…

Monika: "Wait what? There's no way…"

We all walk over to Yuri's machine and-

Natsuki: "OH MY GOSH YURI YOU GOT A NEW HIGH SCORE!"

Yuri got 26,000?!

Aki: "Don't tell me you've played this game before."

Yuri: "U-um…"

Yuri then slightly smiles while blushing heavily.

Aki: "I knew it! Why does everyone have secret experience at this game?!"

Monika: "You could say that we come here often."

Aki: "Argh, fine."

We spend a few hours in the arcade, and we all have a great time. Most of the games there had a maximum of two people playing against each other, so we would have a tournament style to see who was the best. We didn't do a King of the Hill because we didn't want to hold up the machines for too long. There weren't a lot of people at the arcade, but we also wanted to play as many games as possible.

Once we finished playing at the arcade, we all decided that it was best to go home for the day. We decided that we would do the same thing again another day in the week. We all parted ways and went to our homes. Monika and I decided that we already spent a lot of time together today, even if it was with others. Plus, we had the whole break to have some time for ourselves.

Once I arrive home, I head upstairs to take a nap. Today was super fun, but exhausting as well. It's around three in the afternoon right now, so I guess I'll sleep for an hour.

(Monday, 6:00AM; House; Akihito's PoV)

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Ugh... whoever decided kids should wake up at 6AM should rot in hell. Why would you make kids get up early to go somewhere they don't even like? Today's probably the hardest Monday to wake up early since winter break just ended. Oh well, I can't really do anything about it. Getting out of bed, I head to the restroom to do my daily routine.

Overall, I had a great break. Monika and I managed to spend time together after that day everyone hung out at the arcade. Mom also left Saturday night, and I'm still a little sad about it. But Monika came over and cheered me up, just like last time. From what Sayori's telling me, she and Natsuki are getting along really well as housemates. I'm not sure what Yuri did during the break, but I think it's safe to say that all five of us had a great break overall.

Once I'm finished with my routine, I head downstairs to get some breakfast. After that, I head outside and meet Sayori.

Aki: "Hey Sayori."

Sayori: "Hey Aki! Ready to go to school?"

Aki: "Not really, I wanna stay on break."

Sayori: "We all do, but we still gotta go to school."

Aki: "I guess you're right. Okay, let's get going."

We both walk to school together. Once we reach there, we part ways and head to our classes. I just want this day to be finished so I can head to the club and relax.

(Monday, 4:00PM; School; Akihito's PoV)

Thank god the day is over, now it's time to head to the clubroom. Hopefully, I don't forget where it is. Once I reach there, I open the door to see everyone already there.

Aki: "Hey guys."

Monika: "Hey Aki! Glad to see you didn't forget where the clubroom was!"

Aki: "Yeah, I was worried about that too. Anyways, what's the plan for today?"

Monika: "Well, since today's the first day back from break, I thought we could just chill for today."

Aki: "Sounds cool."

Yuri: "Shall I prepare some tea for everyone?"

Monika: "That would be great! Thank you, Yuri!"

Yuri: "My pleasure."

Yuri then heads out the door, and everyone resumes their normal activities. Suddenly, I hear a scream from the hallway.

?: "AH!"

THUD

Aki: "What the fuck?"

Monika: "YURI!"
