(Monday, 4:00PM; School; Akihito's PoV)

Thank god the day is over, now it's time to head to the clubroom. Hopefully, I don't forget where it is. Once I reach there, I open the door to see everyone already there.

Aki: "Hey guys."

Monika: "Hey Aki! Glad to see you didn't forget where the clubroom was!"

Aki: "Yeah, I was worried about that too. Anyways, what's the plan for today?"

Monika: "Well, since today's the first day back from break, I thought we could just chill for today."

Aki: "Sounds cool."

Yuri: "Shall I prepare some tea for everyone?"

Monika: "That would be great! Thank you, Yuri!"

Yuri: "My pleasure."

Yuri then heads out the door, and everyone resumes their normal activities. Suddenly, I hear a scream from the hallway.

Yuri: "AH!"

**THUD**

Aki: "What the fuck?"

Monika: "YURI!"

Monika suddenly rushes outside the clubroom. I take a look around, and see Sayori and Natsuki's confused and worried faces. Then, I hear another scream from the hallway.

Monika: "AAAH!"

Wait… Monika? Oh shit-

Aki: "MONIKA!"

I rush out of the clubroom and dash towards the scream. After running down the hallway, I see Monika at the end of it. Next to her I see, what I think is Yuri, lying down next to her. I run towards both of them.

Aki: "What happened?!"

Yuri: "N-nothing! I-I… just tripped!"

I can't help but notice that Yuri's hiding something. She's even gripping her arm tightly.

Aki: "You seem to have a strong grip on your arm there. Is your arm okay?"

Yuri: "Y-yes! I-I just… fell on it!"

Aki: "Want me to check it-"

Yuri: "NO!"

I jump at Yuri's sudden outburst. After realizing what she did, Yuri hides behind her hair.

Yuri: "S-sorry…"

Aki: "Hey, it's fine. Don't worry about it. I'm sorry for confronting you like that, I know you're not used to it."

Yuri doesn't reply.

Aki: "If you say you're okay, then I'll take it. And don't worry about making the tea, I'm sure everyone will understand. Come on, let's head back, shall we?"

Yuri doesn't say anything, she just simply walks with me and Monika back to the clubroom. Once we reach there, she simply goes to a corner, and sits down.

Once again, I'm met with Sayori and Natsuki's confused and worried faces. I give them a hand signal telling them to not worry, and forget about the situation for now. Sayori whispers something in Natsuki's ear, and then stands up from her desk.

Sayori: "Hey Monika, can I use the restroom?"

Monika: "Go ahead, and you don't need to ask for permission. We're not in class, and I'm not a teacher."

Sayori: "Alright, thanks!"

Sayori then walks out of the clubroom. I don't think anything of it, and take a seat at one of the desks. About a minute later, my phone vibrates, indicating I got a text message. I pull out my phone to see what it is.

System: 'Sayori' added you to 'Untitled Group Chat'

You gotta be kidding me. I check to see who's in the group chat as well. Seems like it's me, Sayori, and Natsuki. I know exactly why she created this group chat, but I'll still play dumb.

Aki: ?

Aki: what's this for?

Sayori: alr tell us what happened

Aki: wdym

Sayori: about yuri! what happened?

Aki: idk what you're talking about

Natsuki: oh come on don't act stupid

Natsuki: we literally saw you and monika run out of the clubroom to help yuri

Aki: oh that

Aki: she tripped, that's all

Sayori: then why did monika scream?

Aki: idk

Aki: ask her

Sayori: k fine

System: 'Sayori' added 'Monika'

Oh you gotta be kidding me.

Monika: ?

Monika: what's this?

Sayori: tell us what happened

Monika: …?

Sayori: about yuri

Monika: she tripped, that's all

Sayori: that's what aki said

Monika: well he was right

Monika: dunno why you want to ask me as well

Natsuki: then why did you scream?

Monika: bc yuri fell!

Sayori: that doesn't mean you have to scream like that!

Monika: i was just shocked

Sayori: so you're saying that you were shocked at yuri falling, and that's why you screamed?

Monika: yep

Sayori: hmm

Monika: look, this is stupid

Monika: all of you get off your phones and do something literature related

Sayori: :(

I put my phone in my pocket, and look up to see Sayori doing the same, but angrily. I then turn towards Monika to see her doing the same thing, but annoyed. I then see Monika stand up from her desk.

Monika: "Okay everyone! Since we're not doing anything today, I thought we could end today's meeting early! How does that sound?"

Natsuki: "Heck yeah!"

Aki: "Sounds good to me."

Sayori: "Yay!"

Monika: "Yuri? How about you?"

Yuri simply nods her head. It seems like she still hasn't recovered from the emotional damage.

Monika: "Alright then, it's settled! See you all tomorrow!"

Everyone gets up from their seats and packs up. Yuri is the first one to leave, followed by Sayori and Natsuki. Monika and I shortly leave the clubroom behind them. As we're leaving, I turn towards Monika to ask her a question.

Aki: "Hey, you wanna come over to my place and chill? Assuming you aren't overloaded with homework or anything."

Monika: "Sure! I only have a little bit of homework to do, so it's fine."

Aki: "Great."

We then head towards my house. Once we enter, we head to the living room and place our stuff there.

Monika: "So, what do we do?"

Aki: "Well, I was thinking that we could get homework out of the way, and then just watch some TV?"

Monika: "Sounds great to me!"

Aki: "Alright then."

Monika and I begin working on our homework. Having someone with you is great, since you can ask them for help. Chances are, they'll know how to help you. That's exactly what Monika and I did throughout our study session. Once we finished, we sat on the couch and began to watch TV. But before we started, something came up on my mind.

Aki: "Hey, Monika?"

Monika: "Hm?"

Aki: "Um, if you don't mind me asking… how come you screamed when you went into the hallway?"

Monika's cheery expression immediately dropped.

Monika: "Don't worry about it."

Aki: "I'm concerned, Monika. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it, but I don't think Yuri simply falling would make you scream like you did."

Monika: "..."

Aki: "Did something strange happen?"

Monika: "I… I saw these… things on her arm…"

Aki: "What do you mean by things?"

Monika: "I don't know… scars? Cuts? I can't describe it…"

Aki: "Cuts?"

Monika: "Yeah… like knife cuts…"

Aki: "Knife cuts?!"

Monika: "Yeah…"

Aki: "H-how many were there?"

Monika: "I-I don't know… there were so many…"

Aki: "Oh my god…"

Monika: "T-they were all over her arm… it was so scary…"

Aki: "Holy… should we talk to her about it?"

Monika: "I'm not sure… what if I talked with her?"

Aki: "That's probably a good idea. She'd be more comfortable around you."

Monika: "I'll call her right now. And I'll put it on speakerphone, so you can hear as well."

Aki: "Alright. I won't say anything though."

Monika: "Alright."

Monika pulls out her phone and calls Yuri. After a few seconds, she picks up.

Yuri: "Hello?"

Monika: "Yuri, hey! It's me!"

Yuri: "Oh, hello Monika. Any reason as to why you called? Do you perhaps need help with the math homework?"

Monika told me that Yuri and her share math, and Monika asks Yuri for help a lot.

Monika: "No, not this time. I already finished it."

Yuri: "Oh, is there something you want to talk about?"

Monika: "Yeah… I do."

Yuri: "What is it?"

Monika: "It's um… about today."

Yuri: "What about today?"

Monika: "Your… fall."

Yuri: " My fall?"

Monika: "You know, at the club?"

Yuri: "What do you mean?"

Wow, Yuri's playing this out really well. She must not want to talk about the whole thing, or she's hiding something.

Monika: "Yuri, when you went to make tea for everyone, you fell in the hallway, remember?"

Yuri: "Oh yes, I tripped. Why do you want to talk about that?"

Monika: "Well when I came to check on you… I saw these… scars on your arms…"

Yuri: "W-what are you talking about?"

There it is. Yuri's scared and definitely hiding something. You can tell it in her voice.

Monika: "Yuri, I'm calling because I'm just concerned. What were those scars?"

Yuri: "I-I don't know what you're talking about!"

Monika: "Yuri, please. I'm just trying to look out for you. I promise I'm not going to make fun of you, or tell anyone about anything."

Kinda lying there, since I'm right here. But that doesn't matter right now.

Yuri: "I-I don't have any scars… I don't know w-what you're talking about."

Monika: "Are you sure?"

Yuri: "Y-yes!"

Monika: "Then do you mind sending me a picture of your arms?"

Yuri: "F-for what?"

Monika: "Just so that I know I don't have to worry about you anymore. I promise I won't share those photos with anyone."

Yuri: "O-oh… I-I would but um… m-my mother, yes… m-my mother is calling me! So sorry to cut this short! Bye Monika!"

Monika: "Yuri, wait!-"

Yuri immediately cuts the call.

Monika: "Well, that wasn't helpful."

Aki: "Well… I wouldn't say that."

Monika: "What do you mean?"
