Alastor is the captain of a pirate ship called the golden demon and he is known as the Stag Demon one of the most famous pirates that have sailed the seas. In his ship he has as crew members: Husk as his first mate, Angel Dust and his siblings, Nifty, Pentious, Cherry, Vortex, Verosika and her entourage and the members of I.M.P. Alastor is one of the many pirates that are looking for the treasure left behind by the pirate king Lucifer the other pirates that are after the treasure are Valentino, Seviathan, Fizzarolli, Helsa, Katie and Mimzy, each of them have a different idea of what the treasure is (a vast fortune of gold and jewels, power beyond their wildest dreams and many more) Alastor as well has a vague idea of what treasure could even if he serve under Lucifer's flag in his youth.
The only clue they all have is that there's a map that is constantly moving that show the exact location of the treasure on an island called the devil's skull which is where Lucifer hide his most precious treasure and it's say to be guarded by a two demons. The map is on the back of Vagatha (Vaggie for the friends) a young buccaneer that wants to get rid of the map on her back to finally free and to fall in love. While looking for the map Alastor and his crew arrive to the pirate port of the hanged man run by Stella (which in this story she is Alastor's older sister) to get provisions and information and by just chance Alastor and Angel meet Vaggie while she was running from Valentino's goons. After a battle a short battle the whole crew return to Alastor's ship, after saving her Vaggie trust the Stag demon and his crew but not enough to show the the map.
Vaggie was put under Angel's supervision by petition of the latter, during their journey both Vaggie and Angel started to develop feelings towards each other. the crew have an encounter with Katie and Fizzarolli which lead to a battle between the three crews in which Alastor's came up victorious and after the battle Vaggie trusted the crew enough to tell them about the map on her back, when the map was revealed they charted the course to the devil's skull meanwhile the rest of Alastor's rivals decided to temporarily form an alliance until they get to the island where the treasure is hidden; during five days of journey Alastor was having a constant dream about a blonde girl he met a decade ago when he was still serving under Lucifer's flag, he never knew her name but he never forget about her.
On the sixth day of journey the Stag pirates were being chased and attack by the other pirates who wanted the map and get rid of Alastor, during the chase all of the pirate crews were hit by a strong storm that cause a lot of damage to the enemies crews and send Alastor flying to the sea, he holded into a plank and for three whole days he castaway until he reach to the beach of an island where he was rescued by someone. The next morning Alastor woke up in a cabin the middle of the woods, after a few moments a blond and beautiful woman enter into the cabin followed by two little kids dressed as butlers. The woman present herself to Alastor as Charlie, she said to him that she was the one who find him unconscious on the beach and bring him to her home.
After a few days being together Charlie and Alastor started to become very close, they did like each other company and started to fall in love towards each other, one day Charlie asked him what was he doing in her island and Alastor tell her the truth that he is pirate who is looking for the treasure left in devil's skull by Lucifer but he also said to her that he couldn't care less about the treasure if it means to stay with her, that answer made Charlie smile and she said to him that the island they were at the moment is the same island he was looking for and after a few days Alastor's crew as well the others pirates arrived to the island, when they came to the island the alliance between the four of them was broken the moment they put a foot on the island and each of them took different ways to find the treasure.
On the other hand Alastor's crew arrived near the beach were Alastor was found by Charlie and after some moments they found the cabin where Alastor and Charlie were, after a couple of minutes Charlie tell Alastor and his crew that was going to guide them to where the treasure is but only if Alastor promise to her that when he finds the treasure he will take her with him beyond the island to see the world and have adventures, Alastor accepted that condition and the he says to her that he is not going to leave the island without her. After hearing Alastor's reply Charlie with a snap of her fingers transform the little butlers into devils with goat like appearances, at first the whole crew were impressed in some many ways about what happened but Charlie says to them that she will explain everything once is all done. While they were on their way to the treasure they could hear the screams from the other pirates and Charlie said to them that was the action of some the traps around the island and as well her aunt and her uncle who were taking care of the problem and also tell them that as long she was with them nothing bad will happen to them, the crew was being followed by both Seviathan and Mimzy (Seviathan was following them because he wanted the girl who was with Alastor to be his and Mimzy was following them because she wanted that her beloved Alastor was all for her).
The crew arrive to the middle of the island they were receive by of what was left of Seviathan, Valentino, Helsa and Mimzy's crews and each of them offer a deal to Alastor: Seviathan's deal was that he would forget Alastor and his crew lives if he gave up on the treasure and the girl, Valentino's deal was that he was going to let them live as long he could have the treasure, the girl and Angel, Helsa's deal was that she will share the treasure in equal halves with Alastor as long he kills her brother and she can kill Charlie and Mimzy's deal was that she was willing to forget about the treasure as long Alastor accept to marry her and left the girl behind. In that moment Charlie's uncle and aunt arrived in the scene: the uncle was a tall owl demon with four red eyes, a royal tunic and a feathery top hat (Stolas) and the aunt was a slender demon woman with grey skin and large hat (Rosie). Stolas told Alastor that if he was to accept any of the deals they will eliminate all of them without hesitation in order to protect Charlie and the treasure, but Alastor takes his sword of its sheath and say to them that will not accept any of the deals and that he will protect Charlie.
And after that a battle begins: Alastor Vs Seviathan, Charlie vs Helsa, Angel and Vaggie vs Valentino and Husk vs Mimzy, the rest of Alastor's crew lead by Nifty will take on the other crew's goons. The battle ends with Seviathan being the last one to die, after the battle both Stolas and Rosie applauded the crew victory and decided to show them the treasure: Charlie was the treasure all along, to bring the Crew out of their confusion they tell them the meaning of that: many years ago Lucifer found an injured woman near his ship, that woman was Lilith the demon of the seas (their older sister) and after some time the two of them fell in love and have a daughter which was their most precious treasure, (they also tell Alastor that he and Charlie have met when he was still a cabin boy in Lucifer's ship) when Lucifer was sentenced to die he made the map on Vaggie's back in order that someone who was worthy of his daughter could get to her and marry her, they were asked by her sister to protect Charlie and to know some of the world even if she couldn't leave the island until now.
After that explanation they give to the crew some gifts: for Alastor and Charlie wedding rings, mountains of gold and jewels to the whole crew, they erased the map from Vaggie's back and as a last gift they crowned Alastor as the new pirate king. After that Alastor and his crew alongside their newest members (Charlie, Razzle and Dazzle) after looting they rival's ships set sail to leave the island, the whole crew celebrated both Alastor and Charlie's wedding and Angel and Vaggie's wedding on the ship. And the weddings Alastor order his crew to set sail for a new adventure.
