Alastor an adventurous cartographer and linguist of Smithsonian museum wants to prove that the investigation of his late mother is true so he proposes an expedition to find the lost empire of Atlantis and to bring the source of energy of that empire back to the surface, but the high members of the museum (Valentino, Seviathan, Velvet, Martha and Stella) denies the proposition of Alastor saying that is just a myth and frustrated with that insinuation Alastor leaves angry at their coworkers. When he arrives to his apartment he receives a secret visit from a mysterious woman call Helsa von Eldritch who has an job offer for Alastor from a very important woman, after some time they arrive to the Whitmore mansion and in there Alastor meets with Rosie an old friend of Alastor's mother who wants to invest in the expedition to search for Atlantis to keep a promise to her old. Rosie have made a bet with the high members of the museum that if she can bring a proof that Atlantis exists they will resign of their positions to her so she could whatever she please with the museum for stepping over Marie's (Alastor's mother) dream and making fun of her.
Rosie even provides a crew for Alastor: Vortex the medic, Husk the radio operator, Vaggie the mechanic alongside her boyfriend Angel dust, Cherri Bomb the demoilition expert, Striker the cook, Baxter the geologist and finally the commander off the mission Vox with his second in command Helsa. along with the crew Rosie even provides the funds for the expedition, machinery to help in the travel and the most essential piece for the travel that was given to Alastor a thing that was the last gift from his mother to him: the shepherd's diary a book that contain information about the secrets of Atlantis.
After a road with multiple obstacles the crew finally arrives to the lost empire of Atlantis and where they meet with the local atlantean alongside their princess: Charlie Magne. As the time goes by Charlie and Alastor spend time together becoming closer to each other and they are set to figure the mystery of the energy source of Atlantis for the sake of science, but Vox and some members of the crew have other plans for that energy source that includes lots money.
This energy source it has more mysteries the both Alastor and the crew believes to have so it will depend on the knowledge of Alastor and the loyalty of the crew to stop Vox's evil plans for it.
