"You have a kid!?"
Kagome was sitting down at the dining room table, her legs swinging back and forth as she watched the two adults interact in the kitchen. She had thought about making herself scarce but had quickly changed her mind when her father gave her a pointed look that told her not to leave him alone.
"Kagome, this is Ms. Joke, Joke, this is my daughter, Kagome."
Kagome lifted a hand and frowned, "I sent you out for Spaghetti, and you bring home a date? I commend your talents."
"...HAHAHAHA! OH MY GOSH! Are you sure she's not our daughter? She's already so much like me!"
"That's a negative," he pulled a large pot from under the cabinet, "Kagome is just naturally facetious."
"I wasn't being serious," Kagome frowned.
"That's facetious."
"Okay, then I was serious."
"Still facetious."
Kagome shook her head, "how can they both be facetious!? Stop laughing!" She pointed her finger at the woman across from her, "this is no laughing matter!"
"I'm sorry, I just, in all my teasing...I never really thought of Eraser as a father. Seeing the two of you like this," Ms. Joke turned seriously to Shota, who frowned at the change of her expression, "Marry Me."
"...no."
Kagome wasn't sure if the woman was being serious or joking, but the laughter in the kitchen seemed real enough. It looked like one more would be joining her and her father for dinner tonight, so she went about setting the table for three. "Maybe I should invite All Might too."
"Oh god, no." Shota felt the color drain from his face. "There is no need to invite anyone else."
"I worry...if he's eating well."
"You have such a well brought up little girl! So cute!"
"Yeah," he waved his hand at Kagome, "she came with these presets."
'Presets? What am I, a laptop?' She placed the forks and knives out, "careful, or I really will call him over." She left the kitchen and walked to her room, grabbing the living room phone on her way while her father wasn't paying attention.

Kagome heard the laughter in the kitchen and smiled to herself as she put her homework up in her bag. She had just finished it and was prepping her bag for tomorrow so she wouldn't have to bother doing so later. Yawning to herself, she glanced at the clock and fought off exhaustion. 'I'm not going to bed until I eat Spaghetti!' Stretching even as the thought of sleeping without food became criminal to her, she walked out to the living room and over to the table. "Dinner ready?"
"Almost," Shota glanced back at his daughter, who looked ready to pass out. "You must have had a busier day than you let on."
"Not really; I'm just not used to school yet."
"Was today your first day?"
Kagome nodded, "yeah, it was fun but longer than I anticipated."
"My, you're so well worded. You aren't anything like Eraser!"
Kagome laughed at the irritation on her fathers' face. Standing, she walked towards the front door and unlocked the door.
"Where are you going?"
She shook her head, "nowhere; I just wanted to unlock the door in case it got slammed open. This way, it won't get ripped off the hinges."
Shota's hand stilled. He looked at the door; his eyes widened at the realization of what that comment meant for him.
"Ripped off the hinges?" Ms. Joke tilted her head a bit and laughed, "I guess that's an inside joke? Hahaha~!"
"No, not an inside joke, just―"
~BANG~
"I AM HERE!"
"..." Kagome smiled, "just didn't want the door to be ripped off the hinges," she gave a small laugh, "welcome in! Dad invited a friend, so I decided to do the same!"
"All Might!" Ms. Joke grinned, "it's been a while!"
"Ah, Ms. Joke, I wasn't aware that you and Eraserhead were so close."
"He's my husband-to-be!"
"Oh! I see! HAHA!"
Kagome was grinning madly as her father tightened his grip on the ladle in his hand.
"WILL THE TWO OF YOU GET TO THE PUNCHLINE!?" Shota yelled out as he listened to their absurd back and forth.
"How mean," Ms. Joke laughed, "I was being serious!"
"I'm not on the market."
"Considering I ran into you at the market―"
"NOT WHAT I MEANT!"
"So, what are we celebrating?"
Kagome looked up at All Might, "my first day of school and my first friend!"
"You mean me?"
Kagome blushed, "n-no, my first friend my age. Are you my friend too?"
"..." All Might ignored the two adults behind him. Kneeling in front of Kagome, he placed his hand on her head. "I will always be your friend."
"She doesn't need you," Shota muttered.
"Don't be so mean, Eraser!"
Kagome didn't look away from All Might, and he kept the smile on his face, "you promise...?"
"I promise."
She nodded, "you can come for dinner whenever you want."
"WAS THAT WHAT HE WAS FISHING FOR?" Shota sighed, "Damn, how did it end up like this?"
"You invited me over for a date!"
"I did not!"
"Oh, that's right, we aren't officially calling it a date, are we?"
"We aren't calling it anything." Bringing a bowl of pasta over to the table, he watched Kagome grab the sauce. Making sure she didn't burn herself as she placed it on the table. She carried it over to him, and he took it carefully and placed it on the table beside the bowl. "Dinner is ready. Feel free to join us at the table...or leave. You can do that too."
Kagome smiled, "I'd like it very much if you joined us, though,"
Shota sighed, "I did some heinous crime in my past life...that must be it."
Laughter filled the dining room of the Aizawa family, and the four filled their stomachs and shared their day as the night crept upon them. It was one more precious memory, one more precious moment. Even in all of Shota's complaining, he enjoyed the moment for what it was. Another memory to share with his daughter. Even if that memory was to be shared with those two.
