Chapter 7: The Alliance Against Oracion Seis!
The Next Day
Naruto had gotten to the guildhall to say goodbye to everyone for the mission he was about to go on. When he got there, they had seen his new outfit. He had decided he would wear something new for his new mission outside of Magnolia since he would be representing Fairy Tail. The new outfit consisted of a white haori with the insignia of Fairy Tail towards the top and his name below it with red flames at the bottom on the edge. He was wearing the standard jonin vest that he had made for him with blue pants. He decided to wear boots to protect his feet more than the sandals. He had his ninja pouch for his Tri-Pronged Kunai since he had perfected it now and could take on anyone and any number of people with it. The last touch he had to complete the outfit was, a metal headband with the Fairy Tail insignia on it as well.
Everyone was surprised with the new change, but none complained since he looked good. The girls all thought he looked handsome as well and that he had taken the look of his father.
"Well this is it guys first mission outside of the city. I will make you proud." Naruto was excited for his first time away from the city.
"It will be boring here without you Naruto-Kun since you joined and made things interesting, but be careful okay. Don't get into too much trouble okay?" Mira tells him which he laughs at as he hugs her which she hugs back.
"Of course, who do you take me for? I'm not Natsu or Gray." Naruto smirk at them when they hear what he just said about them.
"HEY!" They both shout at him.
"What? It's true. You two are a magnet for causing destruction, but take care of yourselves okay guys." He tells them.
"He turns back to Levy, Erza and Cana, take care all three of you okay? I will be back as soon as possible. I want you to take one of these." Naruto says as he hands them each a Hiraishin Kunai.
"The mark is still in front of the guildhall, so I don't need to give it to anyone that's here more permanently. You three still take missions outside of the city and I want you to throw it down if you need the extra help if it's an emergency. I know you can take care of yourself, but I don't want you getting hurt regardless." Naruto tells them that they each take one and thank him for his concern.
"We'll be fine Naruto-Kun. Remember I'm an S-Class mage." Erza reminds him.
"I know you are one, but you never know what you might run into." Naruto responds with his own logic as he hugs each of them which they return immediately. "Tell Lucy I said bye and that I will see her soon." He says to Erza who nods at him.
"I'll see you later in a week Jiji and make you proud old man." Naruto tells him, but snickers at the "old man" comment.
Makarov gains a tick mark."Just get going you damn brat. Good luck on your mission and be safe my boy."
"I'll see everyone in a week's time." Naruto tells them as he leaves the guildhall in an orange flash to the gate of the city.
"To think he would have it mastered after a few weeks only when it took his father months to perfect it." Levy says this surprised everyone since it was a complicated technique to learn according to his father.
"Now that is impressive if I say so. He's well on his way to becoming S-class since he can't be a mage, he'll be the first S-Class Fairy Tail Ninja." Mira replies to her.
'Good luck Naruto-Kun and come back safely.' Levy, Mira, Cana, and Erza all thought.
A Week Later
Fairy Tail was discussing what to do about Oracion Seis and how they should handle it when Makarov walks in on them.
"That was what the other masters and I were discussing in our last meeting since they're becoming a threat to everyone as they are in charge of one-third of the Balam Alliance. We had come to the agreement of dealing with them, but not as a single guild, but as an alliance that would entail Fairy Tail, Cait Shelter, Blue Pegasus, and Lamia Scale." Makarov informs everyone"
This gets everyone's attention as something like this never happens when guilds like to handle problems on their own, but the others must realize that they will need the help of other guilds to take them down.
They decide to send Natsu, Erza, Gray, Lucy, and Happy as they're the strongest team at the moment which everyone has no problem with. Naruto would usually go as well, but he is still out on his job and won't be back in a day or two more from what Makarov had been told by him through a lacrima.
Next we find them all in a carriage on Team Natsu on the carriage heading towards the new meeting place where the other guilds will be meeting up as well since they were chosen to represent Fairy Tail.
"This will be a first time having such an alliance and will be important to get along with everyone, so it's important to be on our best behavior." Erza reminds them (specifically Natsu and Gray)
"In the end it is the usual gang that's going to handle this, well most of the group anyway is going." Lucy says
"Now no need for that look Lucy, we'll be fine. Besides, he knows we can handle ourselves and this will be a chance to test my Sharingan which I am glad I can finally start using since Naruto started training me in it." Erza said with a shudder.
'Did Erza just shudder?!' Everyone but Natsu thought about him being sick in the carriage.
"Why did you shudder from that, I figured, you'd be excited for him to train you?" Gray asks.
"Normally you'd be right, but he's somewhat of a sadist when it comes to training others as he was having me not use any of my requip armors and just using my sharingan to dodge objects he'd throw at me such as his normal kunai and shuriken, or even the occasional elemental attack so he could have me get used to dealing with them." Erza replies, making everyone else scared of Naruto.
"Why would he push you so hard though?" Lucy asks not getting why Naruto would be so tough on her.
"He said, it's to get me used to the feel of the Sharingan when in use and always made sure to remind me that it's merely a tool and not to become reliant on it." She replies.
"Why not rely on it though if it's powerful and all" Lucy asks wondering where she's going with this.
"The reason being is because if you become too reliant on it, then if someone makes it to where it becomes useless in a fight, then what will happen if that were to happen?" Erza tells them that they all nod at the logic since it makes sense to them.
They finally get to the meeting place and wait for everyone else to gather when they hear people talking and they turn around to see a group from Blue Pegasus arrive there.
"It's the Trimens from Blue Pegasus." Lucy says as she recognizes the group.
Lucy goes on to explain who they are as they are introduced as Hibiki Lates, Ren Akatsuki, and Eve Tearm.
Lucy and Erza were being treated with treats and tea, when they hear someone else coming which is making Erza shake as she is recognized as Ichiya from Blue Pegasus as well.
The trimen immediately goes to the ritual as Ichiya is sliding down the railing towards them as he claims to everyone as Erza is his honey.
"You're Ichiya-Sama's girlfriend?! We apologize for being rude" The Trimen apologized.
"He is not my boyfriend! I already have one and it's not him!" Erza shouts at them which generates a rain cloud over all four of them at that news.
"The same goes for me as well." Lucy quickly tells them as they start to look at her which makes them even more depressed.
"Who are these men that have captured my maidens' hearts?" Ichiya asks Erza and Lucy.
They smirk at each other knowing that this will shock them even more when they tell them that they are really sharing one guy.
"It's actually one person who we are seeing. He joined our guild 2 months ago and is currently on a job right now, otherwise he'd be here as well." Erza tells them
"His name is Naruto Uzumaki." Lucy continues on smirking at the reaction of the group's faces.
"Oh I need to have a word with this man about having more than one girlfriend as that is wrong and not something that a man should be doing. "One of the Trimens says trying to demean Naruto.
As they are arguing about it, Lamia Scale joins the group with it entailing Lyon Vastia, Cherry Blendy who Fairy Tail are recognized from Galuna Island, and lastly Jura Rockiron as the Ace of Lamia Scale.
"Now we are just missing the people from Cait Shelter and we can get on the way of discussing how we're going to stop Oracion Seis." Jura tells them.
"Actually, it's not people, but a person I found out they're sending." Ichiya says to the group, which is shocking that only one person was sent to help.
They talk about why they'd send one person only or how this person must be strong if only one person was sent to help them.
Said person runs in, but trips on her own foot. Everyone notices it's a girl looking to be about 12 years old with long blue hair that goes down her back with brown eyes that is where a blued and yellow striped dress goes to her knees with only white looking armbands on both arms.
The rest of the meeting goes on as they discuss how they will handle the group and each member of the group.
Back to Naruto
He had just returned to Magnolias and was making his way to the guildhall when he noticed he hadn't seen anyone from the team and wondered where normally people would be talking about what they had done this time as they are known to be destructive in their jobs when they go on them.
He smiles at the people he passes and waves to them who wave back at him knowing he is one of the few who doesn't cause collateral damage, so they like him that much more and for what he did in the parade.
He makes it back to the guild with its usual activities except no Natsu or Gray fighting for once which he finds odd, but shrugs his shoulders at them probably being a mission.
"Hey Mira-chan, I'm back!" Naruto tells her. She hears his voice and turns around to find him standing at the bar smiling at her.
"Welcome back Naruto-Kun, I take it the mission was a success? She asks as she pulls him over the counter to kiss him.
"Yes, it was a success. It was pretty simple and could've gotten back sooner, but I wanted to enjoy the scenery." Naruto tells her as he returns the kiss since he missed doing this with her and the others.
"Where are the others? I don't see them in the guildhall?" Naruto asks.
"Cana is at her place right now when I last saw her and Lucy and Erza are on a job right now.. Levy is in the library." Mira tells him.
"I'll give the master my mission report and then go see Levy then." Naruto tells her as he goes to his office.
He approaches his office and knocks a few times to let him know that someone is at his office.
"Enter." He hears Makarov say behind the door.
"Master, I'm back and the mission was a success. There were no problems either as it was just some monsters and a demon terrorizing a town, but was able to handle it easily enough." Naruto explains his mission to him.
"Good to hear my boy. Good job on the mission. You can relax as you have to travel quite a bit as well to get back." Makarov orders him.
"I was going to go see Levy and see what she was doing before I went home." Naruto explains, but then feels a pull on one of his Hiraishin kunai that he gave to the girls.
"Master, I'm feeling one of my special kunai pulling me to their location. Was there anyone who was out on any dangerous jobs?" Naruto asks Master Makarov.
"Erza, Lucy, Natsu, and Gray had gone to help other guilds take care of a dark guild." Makarov tells him.
"I'm gonna assume Erza is calling me. I'm gonna go help them Master. Let Mira-Chan , Levy-Chan and Cana-Chan know that I'll be back with everyone else and do not worry about me." Naruto tells him as he leaves in an orange flash.
'Be safe my boy.' He says mentally.
Back to Erza's group
"Lyon stop, there must be another way. You don't need to cut her arm off." Gray tells his friend.
"If we don't do it the poison will spread throughout her body and end up taking her life. This is the best plan we have right now." Lyon replies back to him.
"Don't do it!" He yells at him.
No one notices the special kunai making contact with the ground to signal Naruto for help. When he's about to make contact with Erza's arm, an orange flash appears to stop the sword with what appears to be another sword, but much bigger and a broad sword at that.
"I come back to the guild to find out you guys went out on a job without me and to make things worse, you're about to cut off my girlfriend's arm with one of her own swords. Care to explain that to me?" The figure says as it turns out to be Naruto.
Everyone is shocked at him blocking his sword so fast, wondering who this guy is and how he got here, but none more than Fairy Tail not expecting him to show up until Erza see the kunai sticking into the ground which she realizes that he felt the presence of his kunai being used.
"Naruto-kun!" Lucy yells as she hugs him for all he's worth.
"It's good to see you guys again. I'll catch up in just a moment, since apparently someone was about to chop off her arm." Naruto says, narrowing his eyes at Lyon.
"I was going to cut her arm off since she's been poisoned. It's the best option we have at the moment, but first who are you and why are you here" Lyon says, not knowing who this guy is or trusting him.
"Very well, the names Naruto Uzumaki and I got here when I felt my kunai being used which had pulled me to here, so I was able to teleport to where it was to come to the scene of what is happening now. Enough about that right now, you said she's been poisoned? By who and how?" Naruto answers his question.
"One of the Oracion Seis members had a purple snake that bit my shoulder that caused the poison." Erza tells him as he is inspecting her arm.
"I'm going to assume my healing technique wouldn't be able to do anything right?" Naruto asks assuming they've tried already to heal her.
"That would be right. Nothing that we've tried has worked." Erza frowns knowing she's gonna lose her arm.
'Wait Naruto. I might be able to do something about this poison. Do you think you can summon me and can take care of her poison with no problem.' Isobu tells him as he wants to try using his coral reefs.
'Are you talking about using your coral to absorb the poison through it? That's Genius!' Naruto asks and grins at that thought.
"Alright guys I'm gonna handle the poison, I have a friend who can deal with it." Naruto tells them much to everyone's confusion on who he's referring to.
"Who is this friend that you speak of, Naruto-San?" Jura asks to make his presence known to him.
"I'm going to summon him and don't do anything when he gets summoned and let him do his work. Got it?" Naruto orders them, narrowing his eyes.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
As the smoke disappears, they find themselves to see a happy sized Isbou looking at Erza's arm tending to help her since she's one of Naruto's mates and doesn't want him to be sad as he's become important to him like the rest of the Biju have as well.
Fairy Tail was the first to get out of their stupor at seeing the three-tailed turtle, when they looked at Naruto.
"I thought you hadn't been able to summon them from the seal?" Lucy asks as she remembers them talking about wanting to get summoned from time to time in Naruto's mindscape.
"It was during the week I was gone that we were able to complete it and now I can summon a few of them at a time." Naruto answers her question.
"How exactly will he be able to help her though?" Gray asks curious as to how this will be handled.
"I'm able to use my coral reefs to absorb the poison and then disintegrate the reef from my body which will destroy every aspect of it." Isbou tells them while absorbing the poison into his paw which had turned into a coral reef.
"Very impressive Isobu-Dono." Jura answers, but is still wary of him since he has no idea what he is or who Naruto is either.
"There, the poison is all gone, so you should be okay now, but you need to be healed from the other damage that was given aside from the poisionn." Isobu tells Erza as she is testing her arm by swinging it around a bit.
"Thank you Isobu-San for your help. It means a lot for you to come out here and to help me and get rid of the poison." Erza tells him as she smiles at her as he smiles back at her and the others before disappearing in a puff of smoke going back into the seal.
"Okay, I'll ask now since no one else seems able to. Who are you exactly and what was that thing that was here a minute ago?" One of the Trimen asked.
"First off, Isobu is not a thing. He is a living being like you and I, so don't say such things about him ever again or I will make you regret it pal and second the name is Naruto Uzumaki of Fairy Tail." Naruto threatens him with his aura rising in anger for it.
"You think you can threaten me, a member of Blue Pegasus? You must be the one that Erza and Lucy said were the one that they were dating, am I right?" He asks.
"That doesn't concern you in the matter as that's between the three of us. For now, we have bigger things to worry about such as to what happened to get you guys?" Naruto turns towards his friends and the others for an explanation.
Naruto had managed to heal everyone using his Mystic Palm Technique which amazed everyone including Fairy Tail as they had never seen anything like it. It reminded Charla of Wendy's sky magic healing, but could tell it was different. They had told him after that had happened and what kind of opponents their enemies had been and their abilities from most of them.
"Well damn this isn't good. They're all dangerous people based on the type of magic that they seem to have. The one that concerns me the most is Midnight since no one saw him do anything since he slept through it all." Naruto says to the group.
"We need a plan this time, since running off like last time (Looks over at Natsu) didn't work out right Natsu?" Naruto asks him while smirking at him.
"HEY!" Natsu shouts at him.
"So we need to find Wendy and Happy too right? Well the best way to find them would be to split into groups to do that. This way if we come across any members of the Oracion Seis, we'll have members backing them up. Lamia Scale would be their own group, Blue Pegasus Ichiya, Ren, and Eve go into a group. We can have Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Charla split into a group, and the last group would be me, Lucy, and Hibiki. Does that work for everyone?" Which everyone nods at Naruto's sound plan for the teams.
"
Hibiki will be able to communicate with each of you with his magic, correct? If that's the case, if he starts to run low on magic power, I can lend my own energy since I have large quantities in reserves. I also want to give each group one of these Tri-Pronged Kunai. It is made out of special metal that won't break easily, you see this formula on the bottom? This allows me to teleport to said kunai or where the formula is put down. All you'd have to do to activate it is throw it on a hard surface and i'll feel its pull and be able to teleport to you from wherever I am. That's how I was able to get here so quickly from Magnolia to here." Naruto finishes his explanation.
"Alright let's go now! We're coming, Wendy and Happy!" Nastu shouts out.
Brain's Hideout
"Brain, who is this girl and why'd you bring her with us?" A darked haired mage with a white brown shirt and a white coat covering him, alongside him a purple snake. This was Cobra and his snake Cubellios.
"She has the ability to use Sky Magic, in other words, healing magic." A Dark skinned man with thick lines covering his face and white hair with a white coat that goes down to his ankles. This was Brain.
"A Lost Magic? Are you planning to have her revive him?" A young woman with light blue hair, a voluptuous body, a bust that would match Tsunade with a nearly exposed chest. She wore a rather provocative 'Angel' outfit. Next to her were two little blue men floating around her. This was Angel.
"I'm gonna need you to get him Racer, so he can be resurrected." Brain tells him.
"Are you sure, that's an hour long away for me even?" A man that's tall with a yellow mohawk, wearing a red leather jacket and gray jeans, and finishing it with a pair of sunglasses that goes down to his chin as is framed with the same material as his sunglasses. This is Racer of the Oracion Seis.
"The first one to find him gets a million jewels!" A man with a face that had lines all over his face with long brown hair with a bred necklace going down his chest ending with an eye with wings on the sides while wearing a great jacket with a white top. This was Hot Eye.
"A million? That's a lot you know." Angel deadpans at him for his obsession with money.
Everyone leaves the cave except Brain and another member who has black hair with eyeliner and some ear piercings that goes down to the neck area while wearing a sleeveless black jacket with a white top at it while wearing black jeans that look to have many zipped pockets. This was Midnight.
Back to Naruto
"I don't understand why you don't go with them, Naruto-Kun? You're strong and could use your help in tracking them down and Oracion Seis." Lucy asks him wondering as he would be useful in tracking them down.
"I could, but while Hibiki is using his magic power to communicate with everyone, it takes a large amount of magic power to do so, so think of me as a large battery to add to his reserves when he needs a refill." Naruto explains to her his reasoning.
"But won't that wear you out as well in the process? What if you use too much helping him out when you won't have much to fight for yourself?" Lucy is concerned for her boyfriend's safety.
"I appreciate the concern, but I have so much in my reserves it's nearly impossible to exhaust myself like that and besides you know I have Kurama and the others to refill if need be, so I will be fine. Him being able to communicate with everyone is much more important than me at this moment." Naruto tries to ease her worries.
"Fine if you say so, but that doesn't mean I have to like it." Lucy sighs, but smiles at his selflessness for others.
Hibiki was listening to all this and was impressed with how far he was willing to go to help him and the others, but was curious about who this Kurama was and who the three-tailed creature was from before.
"Since we have the time now, who was that creature from earlier that had taken the poison out of Erza?" Hibiki asks him to finally getting into the conversation now.
"That was one of my partners, who's name is Isobu and he is a three-tailed turtle who is sealed inside of me, much like his siblings." Naruto tries to explain without telling him that he is from another world. They might be allies now, but they are from different guilds still.
"How many siblings does he have and how does a turtle of tails like that? I've never seen a turtle like that before." Hibiki says fascinated and curious about Isobu and the others.
"Well he has eight other siblings with Isobu being the third youngest, but is a master at water-based attacks and has one if not the best defense with his shell being tough to take down, which is something I'd never try to do. The order goes from one tail being the youngest to ninetails being the oldest. Each one is different from each other with different abilities as well. I hope this answers your questions about them? " Naruto explains to him.
"It does. I appreciate you telling me this and being open with it. How come I've never heard of you before?" He asks Naruto as he seems like a powerful person.
"Well I was a prisoner for 2 years in the Tower of Heaven before Erza, Natsu, Gray, and Lucy found me there and freed me. From there I was able to join Fairy Tail and the rest is history." Naruto tells him.
From that point on they were communicating with everyone and making sure, that everyone was updated and aware of things.
Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Charla
They had made it to a cliff with a pond at the bottom when Natsu could smell Happy nearby and Wendy. "Happy! Wendy!" Natsu shouts for them.
"Are you serious right now?!" Charla chastises him for his stupid yelling. "What if there are enemies around here and they just hear you yelling like that."
Brain and Racer had indeed heard them as Racer had brought back a cross case of sorts which when opened to find Jellal chained up in it, but in a coma of sorts. Wendy and Happy were surprised to see him, especially Happy since he thought Jellal was dead.
"Racer, don't let them inside the cave." Brain ordered him.
Racer goes out to see Natsu, Gray, Charla, and surprisingly Erza who should still be poisoned by Cobra, but looks like someone took care of it.
"I don't know how the poison was removed, but it does not matter as this is as far as you go now." Racer arrogantly tells him.
Natsu was able to sneak by Racer as Gray and Erza dealt with Racer while Natsu and Charla went after Wendy and Happy.
While this was happening, Wendy had decided to heal Jellal due to past interactions the two had when he had saved her and helped her get to Cait Shelter, but was too much for her as she passed out from exhaustion. When Jellal had awakened he immediately dealt with Natsu and Brain while Midnight slept through the whole thing. "Cobra! Jellal has escaped and is heading for Nirvana and he should lead you to it. "Brain tells him.
The rest goes as cannon until Nirvana was released, at this point. One of the Oracion Seis was taken care of by Gray as he and Lyon defeated Racer, by figuring out that his magic wasn't actually him being fast, but slowing down everything else around him.
Now we find Naruto, Lucy, Hibiki, looking at Angel as Charla got wendy to safety while Naruto watched on as Lucy battled Angel with spirits, but as things were going, things weren't going so well when she sacrificed her own spirit for victory as this reminded Naruto of how the Biju would be treated and it sickened him, but he realized this was Lucy's battle as he knew she could win. He would step in if he didn't have a choice, but to do so. In the end Lucy had won with the help of Hibiki giving her the power to do it.
"You beat her Lucy-Chan. I am proud of you for doing this. You are one step closer now to collecting all the Zodiac keys like you want to do. Thank you for helping her as well as Hibiki. I knew she could do it with your help." Naruto smiled at the duo for their efforts.
We can't forget about Natsu and Happy either. They're kind of stuck with how they are currently." She answered with a smile.
"True. I almost forgot about them sadly, since Natsu isn't as loud when he's sick like that. I got just the thing too." Naruto smirks as he walks over to where Natsu is. He flips the raft over completely to where Natsu was dumped into the water as Naruto laughs at the situation now.
"What the hell man!? Why'd you do that?!" Natsu shouts at him mad at being dumped into the water like that.
"Come on, I thought it was funny considering all the things that are going on at the moment. We gotta get Happy now since he's been covered in ice. I'll let you do that Natsu." Naruto tells him as he, Natsu, and Happy go off in another direction to find the others since it didn't take long for Natsu to free him from the ice.
"I can sense that there are four members left of Oracion Seis now, but I can also feel that Erza is in distress for some reason, so I'm going to go check on her and you keep going with Lucy as well, okay Natsu? Naruto orders him to do it.
Natsu nods at this, agreeing with him. We now find him heading towards Erza and whoever else is there. He senses two others there, but doesn't recognize one of them, but can't remember who the one is. It takes him a few minutes to get there when he spots Erza talking to? Jellal?! 'What the hell is Jellal doing here and didn't he die?!' He screams mentally in his mind wondering what's going on, but decides to question it later as he goes to where the other source is and finds out to be one of the members of Oracion Seis.
"Well well look at what I just found, someone lurking in the shadows. Any reason you're spying on them or more specifically Jella?" Naruto asks him.
Cobra's eyes widened at being caught as he was sure he had hidden his presence from everyone. "I wasn't expecting someone to be able to find me so easily. I don't remember seeing you with the others before, so I'm going to assume you are backup for the weaklings huh?" Cobra tells him rather harshly.
Naruto's bangs shadow over his eyes. "Weaklings huh? I see that snake beside you, I'm going to assume you were the one to poison Erza-Chan correct? If so, you better pray since you were lucky I could get it released from her in time. I'm going to make you wish you hadn't done that among other things to my guildmates." Naruto says and glares at him.
"It won't matter how strong you are. I'll be able to hear everything that you do, so it won't matter." Cobra says confidently in his hearing in being able to predict everything.
"Oh is that so, are you sure you want to see what's in my mind? You may not like what you see and live to regret it. Let's find out what you can do though." Naruto says as he pulls out a Hiraishin Kunai.
Before anything can happen though, the ground starts to crumble and break apart and Naruto having a feeling of what is happening turns around to see Nirvana being released completely from its prison while Cobra is too awestruck to pay attention to him anymore excited to see it alive again after so long. Naruto forgets about Cobra and goes to get Erza who is trying to save Jellal. He knows she's doing this for a reason despite what he thinks, and grabs both of them and teleports out of there so, they can get to safety for the time being.
Once in safety, Naruto looks at them in question as to what the hell is going on, but as soon as he is face to face with Jellal, he delivers a shattering punch in his stomach as he watches him double over from the pain.
Erza, seeing this, runs to his side while looking at Naruto with anger and does what she never expected would happen. She punches him in the face. "Why did you do that Naruto-Kun?! He isn't in his right mind right now. He has no memories or anything!" Erza tells him as she is angry with him for hitting him.
"Even so, I felt I deserved that one for all that I went through. Why are you so mad about it though?" Naruto tries to explain to her much to her annoyance.
"I'm mad because you punched him for no reason. Not only that, but he was trying to help us by destroying Nirvana! Despite what he did to you. He is someone that is dear to me as well." Erza shouts at him without thinking.
"Erza-Chan, what are you saying exactly"? Naruto asks her.
"Right now, I want you to leave us alone while I try to talk to him. He may have deserved it, but right now he has no memories of who he is or what he has done, so no more hitting him at all. If you do it again, I will stop you Naruto." Erza narrows her eyes at him.
"I see. I know you told me how important that he was to you, but I didn't realize it was to this extent. You have feelings for him don't you?" Naruto asks while trying to keep his feelings bottled up.
"It's not like that, I just want to help him remember who he is." Erza explained to him, but he wasn't hearing any of it.
"I could tell that there was something there, when I first showed up when I saw the two of you talking, though I thought you were just trying to keep him from committing suicide, but I can tell there's more to it than just that. I'll leave you two to have your talk." Naruto says while choking his sobs down his throat trying not to tear up from this.
Before she can respond however, he Bodyflickers to a nearby location to cry, as he feels hurt that she doesn't want him near her at all. He feels so angry at the moment where something inside him starts to change and the Biju are doing everything they can to stop or suppress it.
"Naruto-Kun stop! You're letting Nirvana change you to who you can't become! You know it's a misunderstanding with Erza. She won't leave you son! Please listen to me!" Matatabi begs Naruto to listen to her as it hurts her to see him like that to someone he had come to love.
'It hurts mom. I-it hurts so much, was I wrong to hit him like that despite what he did to me? The way she defended him made it feel like, made it seem like she has some connection and feelings for him. I feel so angry and sad at the same time. I don't know how to feel right now.' He tells her.
While he's having this inner battle with himself. He never notices someone approaching him who sees the state he's in right now and knows what to do. He finds himself being hugged by someone as he turns around he sees Lucy looking at him with concern in her eyes.
"Naruto-Kun what's wrong, I've never seen you like this before." Lucy asks him quietly yet enough for him to hear her.
"I-i don't know Lucy-Chan. I don't know. I'm just confused about something that happened with me and Erza and it got me like this. I don't know if I blame her or if I just acted too hasty, but I did something and Erza got mad at me and the way she was acting, it was as if she had feelings for this person and it hurt that there was someone who had her heart." He said sobbing into her shoulder, unable to contain his tears anymore.
This shocked Lucy in thinking what could've happened to get him like this in his state. She knew Erza must've said something, but whatever she said did a number on him. Before she decides on anything, she is going to ask her about it and then go from there. Right now her boyfriend needs her help in getting through this. She could feel him slipping into the darkness, but was trying to fight it.
"It's okay Naruto-Kun. Don't worry as I'm here for you now. Just don't go into the darkness please. If you were to give into it like this, I'd be scared for you. You'd be unpredictable and I don't know if anyone could stop you from doing something you'd regret, so come back to me Naruto-Kun." Lucy says tearing up as well trying to keep him from falling.
His crying stops and looks at Lucy to help him as he doesn't know what to do as if confused about things right now. She hugs him and starts whispering into his ear to calm him down.
"It's okay Naru-Kun. It's just us two right now." She tells him as he kisses him hoping this helps him.
He immediately kisses her back and starts feeling a little better, so he hugs her back with everything he has as well. "I'm sorry Lucy-Chan that you had to see me like this. I never wanted you to see me like this. This is probably a stupid reason huh for me getting worked up like this huh?" Naruto asks her while chuckling to himself.
"It's not stupid, you were emotional after something that happened which is normal. We'll figure it out though, she wouldn't do this to you though, but we will wait to hear it from her though okay?" Lucy asks him as he calms down and is taking deep breaths.
"Thank you Lu-Chan. Idk how I got so lucky to have you and the others in my life to deserve you. Let's go find the others right now though see if they need any help at all." Naruto says to her which she agrees with as they get up and get to Natsu, Jura, Happy, Charla, and Happy hand in hand hoping that this also comforts him.
They get to the others in time to see Jura defeat Brain who is nearby a defeated Cobra as well which Natsu tells them that he had been able to beat him which makes them happy seeing him improve at a fast rate too.
They all go as a group since they're only 4 of them with Wendy and Charla taking off someowhere so no need to split up and they come across a room that is locked until Natsu finds a way to open it, but when he does, it glows a bright light and it blows up in everyone's faces.
Erza and Jellal
They walk through the ruins for a bit in silence until Jellal decides to ask her something since Naruto left.
"Who was that man and why did he hit me?" He asks her.
"Don't worry about it. It's just a big misunderstanding on his part as he didn't know what was going on. She explains to him.
"But why did he seem hurt when he said that you had feelings for me?" He wondered what had happened between himself and Erza and Naruto and Erza.
"He's someone special to me, but it's complicated with you as I used to have feelings and seeing you again just had me confused about the entire situation and when he hit you, I sort of got angry at him for it." Erza said until she realized and widened her eyes at what he was thinking now that it makes sense to her.
'Oh my god. What have I done?! He thinks I'm going to leave him now.' she says to herself while tearing up at what she's done to him. 'I didn't even think about that and just did what was instinct to me at that moment. He probably thinks I hate him for what I did. Not only that, but he didn't have many people close to him growing up so now, with this happening, who knows what he will do now as he will feel betrayed and it will all be my fault.' She mentally says to herself as she realizes that she needs to find him and apologize and talk to him that she does want to be with him still and that she does love him.
Right as she is thinking of this to herself. They come across Midnight and she tells herself to make things right with him and that she needs to deal with Midnight right now.
Naruto and the others
Naruto opens his eyes as he's holding Lucy and checks to see if she's alright which makes him glad she's fine and decides to check on the others. "Natsu, Gray are you alright?" He asks them.
"Yeah we're fine! What the hell was that though?!" Natsu asked while rubbing his head after digging himself out of the ground. They see Jura had created a dome for everyone to protect them, but he still had taken a lot of the damage which led to him not being able to fight anymore.
Naruto finds himself watching as Natsu and Gray fighting the staff that Brain had earlier as it was actually alive now and was beating them up which Naruto had found to be rather funny of a scene, until the skull finds out all of the six general are down and with them defeated that the real leader is a lot worse and loves destruction whose name is Zero.
As soon as that happens, the walls break down and they see someone who looks like Brain, but isn't as he introduced himself as Zero as he walked through the wall looking at them all until he sees Jura unconscious looking to kill him for hurting his body. Zero goes to attack him, but Gray goes to block his attack with a shield until it shatters immediately which knocks him out. Natsu goes in for an attack, but is brought down as well as it is now just Naruto, Lucy, and Happy.
"Lu-Chan, Happy. I'm going to need you guys to get out of here now. Find Gray and Natsu and get out of here. I'll deal with him myself." Naruto says as he narrows his eyes at him.
"Okay Naru-Kun, just be careful, okay? Come on Happy let's go!." She tells him and goes to grab him when Zero goes to blast at them when Naruto appears in front of him and hits him with a Rasengan which sends him flying into the next few rooms shattering the walls.
"It's you and me Zero, leave the others out of this. You will not hurt my family ever again. I will end you here and defeat you." He tells him.
"We shall see boy. That was quite the technique you used on me too. That didn't feel like Magic though, so tell me what, was it?" He asked him, intrigued about this weird power of his.
"It doesn't matter what it is. What does matter is putting you down and ending this whole thing.
"We shall see! Come! Destroy more boy as destruction is everything!" He says looking like a madman.
Naruto rushes him, ready to deliver a right punch to his face, when Zero grabs his wrist before it could make contact and throws him into the wall and proceeds to shoot him with his magic which connects as Naruto can feel the pain. He pushes off the wall and starts going through hand signs to see what he can handle as he shouts, "Lightning Style: Chidori Current! Which sends lightning in every direction hoping to hit him with it, as Zero jumps away from the area to avoid it much to his pleasure until he notices Naruto not where he was anymore until he turns around to find Naruto right behind him, with his fist cocked back to hit him which connects to his face as he is sent flying to where he was where the current was still going as he lands in the middle and receives the attack at full power and is screaming in pain until the attack disappears.
Zero gets up from his spot with a groan of pain, as he looks at Naruto like he's now a deadman walking and is going to enjoy every minute. "You will not stop me from destroying everything!" Zero shouts at Naruto. He shoots off toward Naruto with his fist covered with a green aura that was his magic and shoots it at him again, but Naruto tosses his Hiraishin Kunai in the air to the roof and flashes to it right when the magic attack hits the spot he was in. "Well that was close any second later would've been too close for comfort." With that thought, Naruto jumps off from the ceiling, deciding to charge at him using Taijutsu and seeing how he does with it.
Naruto goes in with a right hook which is grabbed, but doesn't doesn't see the kick as he gets kicked in the stomach which leaves him open to another head butt which makes him let go of his arm. Zero never noticed that Naruto had left the Hiraishin formula on his shoulder, when he pushed off his shoulder after the headbutt to get some space. Naruto then unseals his Kiribocho and flashes behind him and slashes his sword down to cut him in off, but zero was able to grab the sword with his two palms stopping him from cutting him which makes him groan on how much pressure is being used on him. After a while of nothing happening between the two, he flashes back to the ceiling where he is met with Zero hitting him with his magic and sending him through walls.
'Man this guy hits hard.' Naruto thinks to himself.
"I need to end this now so I can stop Nirvana." He says to himself. Natuto rushes him in faster than before and grabs him and throws him up into the ceiling, before going through hand signs again before saying, "Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame" as this attack hit him, another Naruto appeared behind him with a "Chidori" that he shoves through his back where it goes through his chest to where his heart was. This caused Zero to cough out blood as he collapsed to the ground. He doesn't have time to stand around so he flashes to Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Happy, Erza, Jellal, and everyone else.
Outside of the Nirvana
"Does everyone have their targets on which ones to take out?" Erza asks them which they nod at before they see an orange flash where Naruto appears with his face showing a blank expression.
"Naruto!" Natsu shouts and goes up to him followed by Lucy, Gray, Happy, and everyone else except Erza and Jellal who stayed behind.
"It's done. All that's left is to destroy Nirvana." Naturo says to them.
"We know. We were about to go take it out when you appeared in front of us." Lucy tells him when he shakes his head at them which confuses them.
"I got it guys. This way, we don't have to get super close to it." Naruto tells them much about their confusion.
"How exactly are we supposed to do that?" Gray asked curious as to what Naruto is thinking and has planned.
"You'll find out so stand back." He orders them to which they comply as they want to see what he has in mind.
He holds his hand out to form a Rasengan until he raises his hand above his head where it now evolves into some form of Shuriken which annoyed everyone with its screeching sound.
"Here it goes! Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!"
"He threw it!" Natsu shouted at what he was seeing.
When it made contact with Nirvana, he cut it like it was butter and they thought that was it until it exploded and then it really got destroyed. Everyone turned and looked at Naruto as their jaws dropped on the ground.
"What?" He asks like he was talking about the weather.
"Dude!" That was insane! What was that exactly?" Natsu asked, shocked at what he just saw his friend do.
"That was my wind style version of the completed Rasengan. The Rasenshuriken was the first one I ever completed. You should've seen what he did the very first time I used it, it was crazy." He tells them and shudders on what he would do to them.
"With Nirvana completely done now, we should head home right?" Naruto asking as he wants to go home as soon as possible.
"It's late and everyone is tired, why don't we all go to my guild for the night at Cait Shelter"? Wendy asks everyone hoping they say yes as she found herself enjoying their company and had fun making friends with them.
"Well I for one could use a good nice sleep before we head home, so I'd be honored to go to your guild Wendy." Nartuo tells her as he ruffled her hair which she blushes out of embarrassment, but smiles at him. Charla just huffed at the action not liking what he did to Wendy just now.
"Are we all in agreement that we stay at Wendy's guild for the night?" Jura asks which they all nod in agreement which makes her happy that her friends will be staying there.
As they all get ready to leave, runes suddenly surround them like a prison, when they see an army of rune knights led by someone they don't recognize.
"Halt!" He says to them.
And that's the end of the chapter and the Nirvana arc. I hope everyone enjoyed them and has enjoyed the story so far. There's still time to recommend who the rest of the paths should be if you have a preference besides the ones I already chose, if I see certain ones over and over again.
