One Monday morning, while Bob was still working for Krusty, Bob trudged into his kitchen with all of the enthusiasm of a child about to start a new week of school. He was still sore from Friday's episode, in which he'd had the world's largest banana cream pie thrown at him (or, to be more accurate, the pie was so big it had to be tipped over onto him, as it was far too heavy to throw). It took forever for Bob to wash all of the banana cream out of his hair.

Once upon a time, there had usually been a bunch of bananas on Bob's kitchen counter, but now, the very smell of them would make him ill. Bob was also rather sick of one of the few products that Krusty had allowed him to put his face on: it was this healthy cereal without any of the artificial colours and sweeteners in the foods endorsed by the money-hungry clown. Obviously, the bottom had fallen out of the market for Bob's cereal, and Bob was forced to take all of the extra boxes Krusty was stuck with. Though Bob could have simply thrown them away, he ate them. For one thing, he didn't want to be a hypocrite like Krusty and refuse to eat his own products. Also, it wasn't nice to waste food when there were starving people all over the world, even when this particular food was so vile not even starving people would eat it.

So, it was with tremendous relief that Bob began to eat from the final box of cereal. If he could stomach this, he could stomach anything Krusty had in store for him today.
