Chapter 09: Start Line
"Okay this it." Said Midoriya to himself.
He looked around the other candidates.
"How come they don't look nervous." Said Midoriya.
"Are they that confident?" Asked Midoriya.
He then noticed that girl from before.
It's her, the nice girl from the gates. Thought Midoriya as he realized he never knew her name.
He walked over to her as to thank her for saving him earlier.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and noticed it was the boy from earlier.
He's here too? Asked Midoriya in shock as he was hoping not to see him.
"She looks like she's trying to focus on the trials ahead." Said the boy as he noticed the girl Midoriya was going to.
"What are you going to do, distract her and ruin her chances to succeeded?" Asked the boy.
"Why don't you back off?" Asked Will as she and Midoriya walked away from him.
"Hey isn't that the guy who almost bit it earlier?" Asked one guy.
"I heard he nearly wet himself in the lecture hall." Said another as most people began to laugh.
"Dude what a looser, i guess that's one less rival we have to deal with." Said another.
Will stomped her over to them with electricity sparking on her body.
"Is there anything else you like to say, particularly in my face?!" Yelled Will as she did not take kindly to those who made fun of Midoirya, Bakugo learned that the hard way.
"N-No ma'm!" Yelled the group in fear as they could sense that she was not to be messed with.
"Right, let's start!" Yelled Present Mic.
Everyone looked to see Present Mic on top of a building.
"Get moving, there are no countdown in real battles, your wasting air time!" Yelled Present Mic.
Midoriya and Will noticed that everyone was already ahead and they were falling behind and ran after them.
Midorya remembered earlier at the beach.
Flashback
Midoriya just swallowed the hair.
"Good, you swallowed it." Said All Might.
"Yeah, but i don't feel any different from before." Said Midoriya as he looked at his hands.
All Might gave off a laugh.
"Well of course not." Said All Might.
"Your body has to process the hair first." Replied All Might.
He noticed the time which is 6:15 in the morning.
"It should kick in about two or three hours." Said All Might.
Midoriya gave off a groan.
"Are you okay, Midoriya?" Asked Will in concern.
"I feel like my stomach is tied in a knot." Replied Midoriya.
"I still need to eat and sleep before the exam." Said Midoriya as he was packing up and ready to leave.
"Your body maybe ready for it, but you did it in a hurry so be careful when using it." Said All Might.
"You haven't even taken it for a test run yet." Said All Might.
"The Physical Backlash of One For All can be intense." Said All Might in a serious tone in his voice.
"There's no time to go into full detail but take notes." Said All Might.
"You've got to prepare yourself before using this Quirk so i want you to clench your butt cheeks and yell smash!" Yelled All Might.
"Are you sure about that first part because it dose not sound right?" Asked Will.
Present
Both Will and Midoriya continued to run as each were forced to split up as gain points since they can't share theirs, before a wall near Will broke with hand.
She saw it was a green robot.
They acutally use robots for this? Asked Will in her mind.
She noticed a number on it's shoulder.
A 1 Pointer. Thought Will.
She raised her hand and electricity came out which destroyed the robot and blew up into pieces.
She smirked and ran off to find more.
"Six minuet and two seconds left." Said Present Mic.
Thanks to her elemental powers, she was able to destroy robots on a whim, using a different element each time.
Midoriya on the other hand was not having much luck.
Every time he sees a robot, they were already destroyed.
If i don't gain any points soon, my chances of entering U.A. are gone! Yelled Midoriya in his mind.
He saw that girl from before.
She touched three robots with the number 3 on their shoulders and they were lifted up in the air as though they were weightless.
She put her fingers together.
"Now, Release!" Yelled the girl.
The robots then came flying down.
She was panting as though she was out of breath.
"Okay, that should have been at least 28 points." Said the girl as she ran off.
Midoriya heard that and was more frightened then ever.
He noticed the boy coming in at high speed and crashed into the robot with his legs.
"That puts me at 45." Said the boy.
"How'd he get so many?" Asked Midoriya as there was no way he got that much points as they just started.
He heard everyone points which makes him more nervous then he's ever been.
At this rate, they'll be no enemies left and i'll fail! Yelled Midoriya in his head as he ran off, hoping to find a robot.
Suddenly they felt like an earthquake was happening.
They looked up to see the most giant robot of all, even more so then the ones in the exams.
That thing is supposed to be a 0 point robots?! Yelled Will in her mind.
The robots slammed it's fist into the ground which made a huge cloud dust.
Everyone began running away from it.
But Midoriya was in too much fright and shock to even make a muscle.
"Less then two minuets remaining!" Yelled Present Mic.
"What, two minuets?!" Yelled Midoriya.
"Ow!" Yelled out a female voice.
Midoriya looked around to see it was the girl from before.
Her foot was caught in all the rubble made by the robot.
Midoriya ran towards her in the hopes to save her.
He suddenly felt his legs being all strange like a tingle of some kind.
The next thing he knew, he was up in the air, where the robot's upper half was.
The girl looked with amazement.
Midoriya clenched his fist and his fist began to glow.
The sleeve of his hoodie were torn off when this happened.
"SMASH!" Yelled Midoriya as he landed a punk right on the robot's face.
The robot backed away as it was starting to crumble into pieces and exploding at the same time.
Everyone looked at Midoriya in pure amazement and shock.
Midoriya didn't even realized what happened.
So this is what's like to have a Quirk, to have powers. Thought Midoriya.
"Just one minuet left!" Yelled Present Mic.
This caught Midoriya's attention and realized he was falling and he gave out a scream.
Suddenly a whirlwind began to flow around him, bringing him back down, gently.
He looked down to see that Will was using her Air powers to bring him down to the ground.
Midoriya got back down to the ground and Will gave off a gasp when she saw Midoriya's arm.
It was messed up with a different colouring.
"That's it, time's up!" Yelled Present Mic.
A siren later came on, telling everyone the exam was over.
Midoriya had tears in his eyes, he was not able to score one single point, meaning everything he tried to do, was for nothing.
Everybody was commenting on his Quirk but the boy from earlier noticed something else.
Their all missing the point, did they not see what he did? Asked the boy in his mind.
He looked over to that girl.
He sacrificed everything just to save that girl. Thought the boy.
Surely he must have known there was barley any time left, how many points he needed to pass, that he was putting his life on the line. Thought the boy.
And the girl was willing to save the boy from falling, even though she knew she'd get nothing out of this, i guess i misjudged them both. Thought the boy as he though that Will was rude person trying to get under his skin but now he sees her as a person standing up to her friend.
"Very nice, good work all around." Said a voice.
Everyone turned around to see a short old lady with gray hair.
"Your heroes in my eyes, every one of you." Said the old lady.
Who is that? Asked Will as she has never seen her before.
She walked over to Midoriya.
"Oh my goodness, you were hurt this bad by your own quirk, sonny?" Asked the old lady in concern as she saw Midoriya's arm.
It's as though his body isn't used to his power at all. Thought the old lady.
She puckered up her lips and kissed Midoriya's forehead.
Will blushed and gave out a scream when she saw it.
Midoriya's body began to glow and his entire arm went back to it's original self, as though it was never hurt to begin with.
One Week Later
Later on that night everybody went home from school as Midoriya invited Will over for dinner for a possible celebration.
His mom, Inko was a kind and gentle woman, she treated Will like a daughter, which made Will think of her own mother.
"Izuku?" Asked Inko in great concern as she noticed that Midoriya hasn't touched his food at all since the meal started.
Will can guess why, since Midoriya didn't score any points, his chances of going to U.A. were zero.
"Snap out of it, Izuku." Said Inko.
"Why are you smiling at that fish, did i do something wrong?" Asked Inko.
"Oh no it's nothing, i just space out as all." Replied Midoriya as he went to eating.
Soon everyone finished dinner with plates being cleaned.
Will tried her best to comfort Midoriya but it was like talking to a brick wall.
"Waiting for the results is terrible." Said Inko.
"I guess." Said Midoriya.
"No matter what i just want to let you know that i'll be proud, no matter what happens, i think your really cool sweetie." Said Inko.
"Sure." Said Midoriya blankly.
Will felt terrible and wished there was something she can do to help but she doesn't know what she could do to help him.
Midoriya lifted the dumbbell as to keep himself distracted.
He heard his mother scream and saw her running into the room.
"Izuku, you got a letter, from U.A. itself!" Yelled Inko as she held the letter.
Jeez, it's like she's the one getting the exam. Thought Will though she does understand her reasoning for worrying.
Both Will and Midoriya went into his room as to read the letter while Inko was outside, pacing back and forth with worry.
Midoriya was hesitent but got over and ripped the letter open.
What came out was some sort of device.
Will looked confused.
"What is that?" Asked Will.
It turned around to see a screen of All Might.
"Booyah i am here, as a projectile of a screen." Said All Might which greatly spooked them.
"Wait All Might but the letter came from U.A., isn't it?!" Asked Midoriya in great confusion.
"I know it's been quite a while but great power comes great paperwork." Said All Might.
He let out a cough which made both Midoriya and Will scared, was he going to reveal his true identity after all those months of training?
"My apologies young man." Said All Might with a bow.
"The truth is i didn't come to this city to fight villains, your looking at the newest U.A. Faculty member!" Yelled All Might.
"No way!" Yelled both Midoriya and Will at the same time.
Then apparently there a hand came out, telling All Might which caused an argument between them.
"So moving on!" Yelled All Might as he gave a thumps up.
All Might cleared his throat, which made Midoriya gulped.
"Even though you passed the written test, you got zero combat points in the practical exam, sorry." Said All Might.
"Of course i failed." Said Midoriya as he leaned his head down as he clenched his hands to his knees with tears starting to come up.
Will placed her hand on his shoulder as to comfort him.
I'm a failure! Yelled Midoriya as he started to whimper.
"Fortunately, there were other factors." Said All Might suddenly.
This made Midoriya held his head.
"But before i get to that, i have another surprise, here!" Yelled All Might.
He pressed a button on a remote which showed a clip.
"A short clip for your viewing pleasure." Said All Might.
Why would he do that? Asked Will as Midoriya already got the bad news.
It showed the girl Midoriya saved.
"Um do you have a sec?" Asked the girl.
"Sorry to interrupt." Said the girl.
"It's that girl from before." Said Will in surprise to see her.
"She showed up after the exam to talk about you, young man." Said All Might.
This made both Midoriya and Will were confused by this.
"What does she say next?" Asked All Might.
"Stay tuned to find out." Said All Might as he pressed play on the button which resumed the video.
"You know that boy with the messy green hair and all the freckles?" Asked the girl to Present Mic.
"It's kind of hard to describe his face, kinda plain looking?" Asked the girl.
"Doesn't really stand out or anything." Said the girl.
"She means me." Said Midoriya in surprise.
"I was wondering would it be possible to give him some of the points i earned in the exam?" Asked the girl.
Both Will and Midoriya widen their eyes.
"Why would she do that?" Asked Midoriya.
"I heard him something about getting one point in which seems crazy, how could someone take down that huge villain all by himself not get any points in the end." Said the girl.
"He would've had a better score if he didn't come back for me." Said the girl.
"He saved me, i have to make it up to him." Said the girl as she closed her eyes.
"Please sir, won't give him some of my points." Said the girl in desperation.
All Might stopped the video after that.
"You have a Quirk now, yes, but it's your actions that inspire others." Said All Might.
"And that is why i am here, to see that the practical exam isn't about combat alone." Said All Might as he made an x shape of his arms.
Both Midoriya and Will gasped at this.
The video resumed.
"Thanks for showing up to the station with your request, but there's no reason to give him your points." Said Present Mic as he patted the girl's head.
"The kid's carded them well on his own." Said Present Mic, greatly surpriseing the girl.
The video ends after that.
"How could a hero course reject someone who was committed to saving others, no matter what the consequences are for himself." Said All Might.
"After all that is what makes a hero." Said All Might.
"And that's what my alma matter's all about, training those who have risked their lives for the greater good." Said All Might.
Midoriya gasped at this.
"So we have rescue points!" Yelled All Might as he showed them next to the villain score.
"A panel of judges watches and they award points for heroic acts beyond just fighting villains." Said All Might.
It showed Midoriya scored 60 points for the rescue while still retaining 0 for his villain one.
"Izuku Midoriya, 60 rescue points!" Yelled All Might.
Midoriya gasped at this.
"Ochaco Uraraka, 45 rescue points!" Yelled All Might, showing the image of the girl now nammed Uraraka.
So her names Uraraka. Thought Will as she made a note to thank her if they meet in U.A.
"You both pass the exam." Said All Might.
"That's awesome Midoriya, you can actually go now!" Yelled Will in excitement as Midoriya's dream was finally coming true, his path to become hero.
"I-Is this some kind of joke?" Asked Midoriya in disbelief as he can finally enter the school he desire, it just seems to good to be real.
"Welcome, Izuku." Said All Might as he held out his hand.
"You've made it, you became part of the Hero Academia." Said All Might.
Midoriya was crying tears of joy.
Will smiled as she was happy.
Later on she got to lonley apartment, since her parents aren't with her, she has to make ends meet by herself.
She found her letter also and found out she got in as well.
I hope me and Midoriya go to the same class. Thought Will as she wanted to see Midoriya's progess grow before she becomes a Saviour.
Earlier that Same Day
Michiru was standing in front of the U.A. testing center for the recommendation exams.
She had just got off the bus that transported her and other students she didn't recognize.
In the papers she read, a written essay, an interview and a 3 kilometer race would take place during the exam.
She was told to wear her school clothing and to bring a pair of regular clothes for her, especially since there would be a 3 kilometer race.
Michiru and the other examines were in a room about the size of a lecture hall with at least no more than 30-40 people in the room. M
ichiru had noticed some of the people beside her, one had hair that was peppermint colored and a boy who looked like a buff football player, with hardly any hair but was smiling the whole time.
It was quiet until the lights went dark in the room as the spotlight shined at the center, showing a desk with Present Mic on stage.
"What's up players, who's ready to get started!?" Asked Present Mic.
Wait that's Present Mic, isn't he one of U.A.'s teachers? Asked Michiru in her head, not wanting to interupt.
Michiru paid close attention to Present Mic's speech to the students and how the exams would take place.
The order of the exam was the interviews, the writing portion, and then the race.
Thankfully they allowed the students to wear normal clothes for the race, which meant Michiru could use her quirk without ruining her uniform.
"Alright if no one has any questions then let's get started!" Yelled Present MIC.
Michiru took a deep breath after Present Mic finished and closed her eyes.
She was nervous, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.
Alright let's do this! Yelled Michiru in her head with confidence.
It was finally the 3 kilometer race, Michiru was so glad the first two tests were over.
The writing portion took a while for her but she managed and the interview went well.
All she had to do now was get through the race and it was over.
She was in a group of 6 people, they were allowed to wear normal clothes for the race, whatever they were comfortable with.
Michiru was now wearing a black shirt and her red jacket, so she decided to wear shorts to give her room for her legs to move, especially since she's going to use her quirk.
She was stretching her legs on the ground but she felt like she was being watched, she was the only girl in the group but there were hardly any from the lecture hall.
The only other girl she saw had black hair, but it was a crazy haircut and seemed rather fit but very professional.
Everyone in the group was standing by while Michiru stretched, she took advantage of the spare time while they had it.
She took a quick breather after stretching when she was offered a hand.
She looked up to see the same buff boy from earlier.
"Need some help getting up?" Asked The boy with a smile.
"Yeah thanks." Replied Michiru.
She was helped up by the boy, she was kinda weirded out by the fact that he was smiling the whole time.
She didn't know if that was his personality or what but she wanted to try and be nice.
"Are you ready for this?" Asked Michiru.
"Heck yeah I am, I always wanted to be a hero ever since I was a kid!" Yelled the boy.
"What about you?!" Asked the boy with excitment.
"Me too, I was actually gonna take the entrance exam but thanks to my hard work the past few months I got recommendations from my teachers so here I am." Said Michiru.
The boy seemed very happy after she said that, he bowed immediately, practically hitting his head on the ground.
It took Michiru by surprise as the boy began shouting as well, bringing all eyes on them.
"I am very honored to be testing beside you!" Yelled the boy at the top of his lungs.
"You have worked very hard and I acknowledge that and I hope we both get into U.A.!" Yelled the boy.
Michiru couldn't help being embarrassed as everyone there was staring at them and the fact that this guy was wishing her good luck out loud.
The boy was so outgoing and kind but quite loud for sure.
"Thank you, hope you get in too." Said Michiru as she smiled and gave a thumbs up as the boy smiled and gave a thumbs up back.
The group eventually got side by side in a line, ready to start the race.
Michiru was nervous but closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
She remembered everything Shirou had taught her and trained her, learning to improve and use the abilities available to her.
She knows in a 3 kilometer speed race, the best ability to use is her cheetah legs.
With my cheetah legs I should be able to sprint all the way through, the question is am I gonna be able to get first? Asked Michiru to herself.
No, don't worry about that now, just worry about getting through the race. Thought Michiru as she shook her head.
The moment the sound of a gunshot was made, Michiru turned into her beast form, as her legs began to thin up, growing spots all across her legs as they formed into cheetah legs.
She began sprinting as fast as she could as she noticed the other group trying to use their quirks.
The boy with red and white hair began moving forward, utilizing some kind of ice quirk as a wall of ice was pushing him forward while the boy she had spoken to was flying.
It looked like he was utilizing wind to his will, Michiru was impressed with these people.
The only three people ahead of the group were Michiru and the two other boys she had seen.
The muscular boy was ahead of her and peppermint hair but Michiru was so close.
The fact she had trained so hard to get so far and how much she had learned about her quirk, she wanted to succeed, she wanted to be a hero.
Without thinking Michiru's legs suddenly grew slightly thicker, more muscular as her feet grew longer in size, she didn't even notice the fact her tail turned into a rabbit's tail.
With one powerful jump she leaped into first place at the last minute, taking everyone by surprise as the race began to finish.
"What's this?!" Asked Present Mic in shock.
"Number 15 steals first place at the last second!" Yelled Present Mic.
But the students were too distracted trying to breathe after the race they had done, especially Michiru.
She couldn't help but look at how her legs looked as they reformed back to normal.
'I can't believe it, I-I can do rabbit legs now. Thought Michiru.
Had it not been for that I would've gotten 3rd place. Thought Michiru.
She thought back to how she got each of her abilities, how she could stretch her arms, how she had cheetah legs and even wings.
She had gotten all of her current abilities either in desperate situations or when she needed them most.
The only problem was she could use one ability at a time, meaning she would have to choose wisely in different situations.
"That was incredible!" Yelled the boy.
"Although you stole first place, that was a hell of a great job though!" Yelled The muscular boy as he once again complemented Michiru as she got herself up telling the truth.
"Thanks, actually I got lucky I didn't know I could do that until after the race." Said Michiru as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Wait really, what is your quirk?" Asked the boy in surprise.
"My quirk allows me to transform parts of my body into different animals." Said Michiru.
"That's why I was so fast because I had cheetah legs but I didn't realize until after, my legs transformed into rabbit legs which gave me the boost I needed to get ahead." Said Michiru.
"I still think it's awesome though, the fact you can transform into different animals." Said the boy.
"That's amazing, you can be in your element in any terrain!" Yelled the boy.
"Well uhh thanks." Said Michiru as she blushed holding the back of her head as the boy looked over to the peppermint haired boy he looked down thinking to himself.
"Say you did pretty great too!" Yelled the boy.
"For the son of Endeavor you got a hell of a quirk!" Yelled the boy.
Michiru had looked over to the peppermint haired boy realizing who that was.
Wait Endeavour's son is that peppermint haired boy? Asked Michiru in shock.
He looks cute but he seems pissed or something. Thought Michiru as she noticed his face.
"From the way I see it we're gonna make some pretty good her-" Said the boy.
"Can you just shut up." Said The Son of Endeavor who didn't seem happy he got third but he was annoyed, he caught both Michiru and the muscular boy's attention because of it.
"I'm here to take a stupid test, not to make friends, so give it a rest." Said the son of Endeavor.
The look he had in his eyes, he was defeated but also in resentment, the muscular boy felt shut down, Michiru couldn't help but glare at the way Endeavor's son acted.
As Endeavor's son walked away with the other students Michiru and the muscular boy were still standing, she went up to try and snap the boy back to reality.
"Peachy isn't he huh, I guess it runs in the family." Said Michiru as the boy looked forward at the group walking away.
From what she heard about the number two hero, he wasn't as popular as All Might but he got the job done from what Shirou had told her.
But he never cared for the news or the public, which would explain his peachy personality.
"Tell me about it." Said the boy sadly.
Michiru looked over to see the boy's smile was gone, he seemed like he was glaring at Endeavor's son as he walked away, the same thing that happened to the boy with Endeavor as a child had now happened to him with Endeavor's son.
He was snapped back to reality when the girl he spoke to put her hand on his shoulder.
"Hey it's ok, don't let it get to you, there are people worth talking to while others are just jerks like him." Said Michiru.
"Besides it's nice to see someone who's outgoing and kind like you." Said Michiru with a smile.
The boy looked down at her as she smiled, he looked away blushing slightly but eventually went back to his usual self.
"Your right, I shouldn't let something like this bring me down, it will only make me stronger and help me learn!" Yelled the boy.
Both the boy and Michiru began walking back towards the group, the boy held a fist up in the air as he was back smiling like his usual self.
He wasn't sure about getting into U.A. because of the Son of Endeavor, but this girl's words of encouragement may have changed his mind.
All the recommendation students were eventually leaving the U.A. building with their results from the race, they would have to wait a few days for the writing and interview results.
Luckily Michiru had scored first place in the 3 kilometer race, so it would most likely guarantee her chance of getting into U.A.
However, writing was never her forte, so she hoped she at least passed the writing portion.
Michiru got on her bus back home as she went through the results of her race, she had scored 5 minutes faster than the average time.
She couldn't wait to tell Shirou, or her friends for that matter.
Shortly after texting Jiro and Tokoyami, Michiru pulled out her headphones, and played her favorite song.
Her favorite song Night Running, wasn't as popular here but Michiru still loved it, the same song she and Nazuna used to listen to and sing to every time it was on.
Michiru missed those memories, she wasn't sure how Nazuna or her family were doing back home, wherever they were, but she hoped they were okay.
Michiru had closed her eyes as she thought back to the memories she had made, as the music calmed her mind, her thoughts were as clear as the blue sky. S
he missed home, she missed her family, she missed Nazuna.
She almost cried thinking about it, but shook herself back to reality when it was time to get off the bus.
All she could do now was focus on what's going on now, and that's being a hero.
One Week Later
"Michiru, your exam results are here!" Yelled Shirou as he was going through the mail when he noticed an envelope with Michiru's name on it.
He realized the moment he looked at who it was from that it was from U.A.
"Coming!" Yelled Michiru as she came rushing out of her room shortly after hearing Shirou with Kuro flying behind her.
She was getting ancy the entire week just thinking about how she did.
After Michiru had gotten her letter from Shirou she went back to her room forgetting to bring Kuro with her as he landed on Shirou's shoulder.
"She's nervous, that's for sure." Said Shirou to Kuro as he cawed back.
Michiru turned off her lights as she saw a small device in her envelope, she assumed it was a projector but it only had one button on it.
She was staring at it for a solid minute as she nervous about what she may see but she couldn't wait any longer and began pressing the button, the device activated a small projector in front of Michiru.
In the projector was a familiar man she had met before months back, Principal Nezu.
"I know what you're wondering, why is a small friendly mouse/dog who is the principal of U.A. doing in this recording!" Yelled Nezu with his joyful voice.
"You see Ms. Kagemori, ever since we had our first encounter back at the police station, I knew you had so much potential." Said Nezu.
"Not just your quirk, but your willingness to throw yourself out to protect others." Said Nezu.
"That's why I wanted to take the pleasure of telling you your results myself." Said Nezu.
"Of course your writing may need some work but you still certainly did the best you could, and your interview was great!" Yelled Nezu.
"Not to mention the fact you got first place in the 3 kilometer race!" Yelled Nezu.
"Just like the rest of the students in U.A. you have and will continue to grow, improving yourself." Said Nezu with a smile on his face.
Wait so does this mean I- Thought Michiru with a hopeful look on her face.
"If it's what I believe you're thinking then yes, you passed." Said Nezu.
"Congratulations Michiru Kagemori!" Yelled Nezu still in his joyful voice.
"I welcome you to U.A. High and into the Hero Academia course!" Yelled Nezu.
Michiru couldn't help but smile after Nezu finished speaking, after all her hard work, she had finally made it.
It wasn't easy, and it will continue to be difficult but it's worth it.
She ran out the room screaming in joy as she jumped into Shirou, hugging him.
"I got in, i got in, i got in!" Yelled Michiru as she nearly startled Shirou as he was listening from the door to Michiru's room, he couldn't help but be curious about what they had to say to her.
He guessed he already knew the answer.
He hugged her back, as he put his hand on her shoulder and smiled.
"I'm so proud of her Michiru, you've gone through so much but you continued to keep working hard." Said Shirou.
"I'm not one for speeches but I know you'll do so much for this world someday." Said Shirou.
Michiru looked up to Shirou and was quite surprised hearing that from him, but she knew he wasn't gonna stay the reserved and cold hearted person he was used to be forever.
"I was just so doubtful you know, even after how well I did in the exam, I was so afraid of failing." Said Michiru as she looked down.
"But you didn't give up, did you?" Asked Shirou.
"You kept working hard to insure you passed, and look where you are now." Said Shirou.
"You're now going to be studying at a school where some of the best heroes are trained." Said Shirou.
"You have potential Michiru but you must stay true and confident in yourself and others." Said Shirou as he still contiuned with his smile.
Michiru once again hugged Shirou, much tighter this time.
He had done so much for her, even though he wasn't her father, he still took care of her and protected her ever since she came to Anima City like she was his own.
"Thank you Shirou, for everything." Said Michiru as she began to tear up as Shirou hugged her back.
"Of course Michiru." Said Shirou as he closed his eyes and enjoying the moment.
