Chapter 13: Michiru Meets Her Match
"Your indoor combat training is over." Said All Might over the microphone.
Uraraka slid off the weapon while moaning.
"Are you okay?!" Asked Ida in great concern.
"The hero team…WINS!" Yelled All Might as the class went silent after witnessing the aftermath of the match.
"What a weird way for this to end, the losers are practically untouched but the winners are both on the ground." Said Kaminari as he sees Midoriya was unconscious while Bakugo stood there speechless and defeated and Uraraka was nearly about to vomit with Ida trying to help her.
Tokoyami closed his eyes and looked at the ground.
"How does the old saying go?" Asked Tokoyami, poetically.
"They may have lost the battle but they won the war." Quoted Tokoyami.
"This class in intense." Said Asui.
"But why didn't Midoriya use his quirk till the end though?" Asked Sero.
"Wait look at his arm, it's banged up like his finger from yesterday's quirk test." Said Michiru as she pointed to the camera at the unconscious Midoriya.
Parts of his body were bruised and burnt from the attacks, the only other injury that was severe was his broken arm.
"I get it now, he tried to not use his quirk." Said Yaoyorozu.
"The fact that he injures himself every time he used his quirk would make it difficult to win." Said Yaoyorozu, now getting it.
"So he tried to rely on defense, using what he knew and dodged Bakugo's attacks, pretty smart." Said Kaminari.
"But in the end he was cornered, he had no choice. Had he not done that, they would've lost." Said Ojiro.
The class was impressed with Midoriya's performance but rather shaken from how the match went on.
But seeing Bakugo act so crazed made them shiver, Michiru couldn't help but relate to what happened when she first came to Anima City.
Flashback
"Okay i think he gets the point!" Yelled Michiru as the Wolf Beastman kept savagely beating on another Beastman.
"Stop!" Yelled Michiru in squeaky voice as she tried to get the Wolf Beastman to stop hurting the people who ruined the Anima City Festival.
But all she could do was watch as he approached the beaten down criminals with an emotionless face.
"That's enough, isn't it, do you really have to kill them?!" Yelled Michiru.
"Don't you see, the Festival was ruined because of them." Said the wolf-beastman, after seeing the criminals who disrupted the Festival and realized they had the scent of Humans, he knew why they did it.
He hated humans for everything they've done to his people, but to see some of his own work for humans made him even more angry.
"Yeah, but they are Beastman too, just like you!" Yelled Michiru in argument.
"How could you?" Asked Michiru.
"These three were working for the humans, their not worthy of being called Beastman." Said the Wolf Beastman.
"They deserve this punishment." Said the wolf Beastman in a cold tone in his voice as he slammed his foot on one of the unconscious criminals faces, slowly pressing down harder and harder.
"Please stop it!" Yelled Michiru as she couldn't watch what he did or what he was doing now to the criminals.
He ignored her and continued hurting the criminals and that was when she had enough of it.
"I TOLD YOU TO STOP IT!" Yelled Michiru.
Her emotions triggered something within her, it was the first time her powers began to truly develop.
Her tail began to glow blue as it began to grow in size across the alley way, taking the Wolf Beastman by surprise as it pushed him away from the unconscious criminals.
The tension was high as the tail shrunk back in size, Michiru and Shirou stared at one another eye to eye before speaking to one another.
It almost felt like these events had happened only days ago still, but Michiru was brought back to reality when she felt someone's hand on her shoulder.
Present
"Are you okay Kagemori?" Asked Jiro as she and Tokoyami looked concerned, they looked over seeing Michiru looking down.
She had her arms crossed, but it was obvious something was wrong just by looking at her expressions.
Both her Tanuki ears and tail were droopy, she had a depressed look like she had a bad memory.
Jiro put her hand on Michiru's shoulder and asked if she was alright, hoping to bring her back to reality.
It was like Michiru had just woken up from a dream, she was still not in a good mood so she put on a fake smile and reassured her two friends everything was alright.
Everyone was where Midoriya was taken to Recovery Girl for much needed treatment.
Will looked at Bakugo with hate and marched over to him.
Everyone was greatly surprised to see her slapped Bakugo right on the face, face all red.
Bakugo wanted to yell at her but didn't when he was still loose in thought about his match with Midoriya.
"If you ever try a stunt like that again, your first year of U.A. will be your last." Said Will with gritted teeth.
Bakugo said nothing in response as Will walked away.
"To the nurses office." Said one of the robots.
"I know." Snarked one of the other robots as Midoriya was taken away.
All Might looked at Bakugo who was looking at his hands while still thinking about his match.
My attacks, Deku predicted them, he made me look like an idiot. Thought Bakugo.
He somehow manged to win the exercise. Thought Bakugo.
Bakugo began shaking and panting.
Does this mean that if we really fought, if we didn't hold back at all, Deku would beat me with his Quirk?! Thought Bakugo.
Bakugo felt a hand on his shoulder and looked to see All Might.
"Young Bakugo, cool your jets, let's go review your work." Said All Might.
"Wherever you win or loose can always take something away from experience like this, as long as your open to learning." Said All Might.
"Well despite the results, the MVP of this exercise is Young Ida." Said All Might.
The class gasped when he said that, Ida included.
"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes instead since their the winners?" Asked Asui in confusion.
All Might let out a hum.
"Valid question, why didn't i choose one of those two?" Asked All Might.
"Who wants to guess?" Asked All Might as he raised his hand.
"Sir, i can tell you why." Replied Yaoyorozu as she raised her hand.
"Ida embraced this challenge, he was the only one who truly adapted to his assigned role." Said Yaoyorozu as she started.
All Might was shocked that she got it right.
"I'll explain, Bakugo's judgement was clouded by a personal grudge against Midoriya." Said Yaoyorozu.
More like anger clouded his judgement. Thought Will, still glaring at Bakugo as he had his head down.
"As you pointed out earlier, launching a large scale attack indoors was a foolish move." Said Yaoyorozu.
"It could have been disastrous." Said Yaoyorozu.
"Similarly, Midoriya's plan was also poorly thought out, considering the amount of damage that he recived." Said Yaoyorozu.
"He rendered himself helpless, not smart." Said Yaoyorozu.
Will wanted to call her out on that, but then remembered her own lesson when she almost she cheated at her swim match during the whole Nerissa incident, and realized that Midoriya was willing to do anything for a victory and remembered her own exact saying, "A Victory at any cost isn't a Victory at all, not if you loose yourself in the process".
"As for Uraraka, she let her guard down mid battle and her final attack was for to reckless given the hypothetical states." Said Yaoyorozu.
"If she treated the fake weapon as though it were real, she would never have risked an indecisive move." Said Yaoyorozu.
"Ida was fully prepared for his opponents arrival, he had a strategy and never loss sight of his mission to protect the dummy weapon, even if he was foiled in the end." Said Yaoyorozu as Ida was beaming with happiness at her remark.
"Technically the hero team won yes, but they took advantage that this was training, they didn't respect the spirit of the trial." Said Yaoyorozu as she finished.
Sheesh, overthinking much. Thought Michiru as she thought she was taking this a bit seriously.
This girl really has a good eye on her. Thought All Might as everything she stated was correct.
"Yes, well you overlooked a few things, Young Ida could have relaxed a little bit in the end of this exercise ." Said All Might.
"But otherwise you nailed it." Said All Might, giving a thumps up to her.
"One should always start with basics and devote themselves full heatedly to learning, that's the only real way to become a hero." Said Yaoyorozu.
"Now then, time to blow this joint and move on to the next match, think about everything we saw and discuss as you tackle this training for yourselves." Said All Might.
"Yes sir!" Yelled the class.
The second match with teams B and I were next to commence, the building they used for the first match was practically trashed so they had to move the matches to another building.
Luckily the training grounds had countless buildings, along with ones the same as the original.
"Match 2, Team B will be our heroes and Team I will be the villains." Said All Might through the microphone.
Sero put tape around the weapon as to give it a shield while Ojiro was preparing himself.
"It's kind of a great plan, isn't it, even if they do find us and beat us in a battle, they'll have to get pass my traps first." Said Sero with a smirk.
"I would advice about being overconfident, we still don't know what our classmates Quirks are." Said Ojiro.
Sero shrugged his shoulders and continued what he was doing.
"Look alive kids, show us your the embodiment of good or evil, let's go!" Yelled All Might as he was pulling out his notebook and pen.
Bias much? Asked Will in her head as she was unwilling to talk to him after he refused to end the last match.
A horn was then heard, signalling the match was starting.
Shoji went to the entrance and the tips of his arms began transforming into ears until one of them reformed into a mouth as Todoroki approached him.
"Both of them are on the north side on the 4th floor so the bomb must be there, both of them are bare foot." Said Shoji.
"I bet the one with tape plans to set up traps for us to walk into." Said Shoji.
"For your safety, go outside." Said Todoroki as he walked ahead.
"I'm sure our opponents intend to trick or fight us in defensiveness battle." Said Todoroki as held up his while ice was starting to form.
"But we've already won." Said Todoroki.
Once he placed his hand on the wall, every hall, room and eventually the entire building was covered in a layer of ice.
Team B won the match easily because the ice froze Team I in place making them unable to move.
"Damn it, my feet are stuck!" Yelled Sero as he tried to get his foot out of the ice.
"This quirk is insane!" Yelled Ojiro.
They heard footsteps approaching and saw that Todoroki had entered the room.
Ojiro defended himself, ready to fight.
"Pry yourself off all you want, but it might be hard to fight me with your skin at the bottom of your feet." Said Todoroki as he smirked.
He walked Ojiro and processed to the weapon.
The class was not only impressed but freezing from his power.
"H-He's incapacitated the villains without compromising the weapon or his teammate, take close note of this technique students." Said All Might.
The only person who wasn't affected by the cold was Bakugo, he was too distracted after his humiliation and seeing how powerful Todoroki was.
"Whoa, he's so strong!" Yelled Kirishima.
The moment he touched the weapon, the trial was over.
"The hero team…WINS!" Yelled All Might.
Ojiro clenched his fist.
Todoroki began melting the ice and Will figured out in an instant and making the class realize he had a dual quirk.
This would probably mean that this would be the quickest match out of the 5 that took place.
"Heat too?" Asked Ojiro as he noticed the ice was melting, even on the outside.
"It's not your fault." Said Todoroki suddenly.
"We're just playing different levels." Said Todoroki as he looked back at Ojiro.
If i remember correctly, Endeavor is known for his Fire related Quirk, so where did the Ice Quirk come from, from his mother maybe? Asked Will in her head.
"Holy crap!" Yelled Sato.
"That guy is kind of intimidating." Said Kaminari in fear.
"He's one of the 5 people in U.A. who got in on recommendations like Kagemori, Yaoyorozu and Yoarashi, so he must be good, ribbit." Said Asui as she agreed with Sato.
"Moving on, time to gather round for a review of the second match, after that, we'll jet on over to our next battle!" Yelled All Might.
"Yes Sir!" Yelled the class, minus Bakugo.
After that was over, All Might yelled out once again.
"Teams H and J, you're up next!" Yelled All Might.
"Good luck, you have 15 minutes to prepare." Said All Might.
Kirishima and Will went ahead to the building while Michiru and Tokoyami we're given a map of the building.
The two walked silently to the front of the building when Tokoyami broke the awkward silence.
"Are we okay after what happened yesterday?" Asked Tokoyami in concern.
"You didn't seem yourself earlier." Said Tokoyami as he didn't want to barge into her business becuase she was his first real friend.
He noticed after the first match she looked out of it, she seemed depressed as if she couldn't get over something that had happened.
Both he and Jiro and asked if she was alright but the look she had already gave him his answer.
"Oh yeah I'm fine, it's nothing." Said Michiru as she lied, giving him a fake smile.
Tokoyami knew she was lying, she was trying too hard but he didn't want to push her.
He wasn't one for talking but he wanted to try and be nice to her the best he could.
"I'm here if you wanna talk." Said Tokoyami.
Michiru looked over to Tokoyami as she was greatly surprised to hear someone so reserved willing to be open up to talk.
Thanks to Tokoyami trying to cheer her up, she slowly went back to her normal self, trying to stay positive as she smiled for real this time.
"Thanks Tokoyami." Said Michiru.
They both began to blush.
"Well sulking won't do anything for us right now so let's win this thing!" Yelled Michiru as she went on ahead with Tokoyami right behind her.
Inside of the room Kirishima and Will were prepared for the arrival of the heroes.
Kirshima felt awkward talking to her, ever since her outburst in the first match, he was a little afraid to talk to her.
"Are you okay?" Asked Kirishima, carefully.
Will sighed, having a feeling why he's being careful.
"Relax, it's not you i'm mad at, so you don't need to be careful around me." Said Will.
"Look i just want to get this entire thing over so i can check over Midoriya, okay." Said Will.
"Ya really care about him, don't ya." Said Kirshima.
"Of course i do, ever since to Japan, he was only person who was willing to befriend me and forgive me if i seem agitated at times around with Bakugo, but i can't let a bully like him get away with pulling stunts like that." Replied Will.
"Yeah, i guess Bakugo really went overboard back there." Said Kirishima as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Try completely." Said Will.
Kirishima shook his head and focused on the task.
"Alright, so let's get prepared for our opponents when they go through that door." Said Kirishima as he used Quirk to harden his skin.
"You mean, if they go through the door." Said Will.
Kirishima looked at Will in confusion.
"What do you mean?" Asked Kirishima.
Will turned around to look at him.
"Well think about it, sure the door is the most preferred method of entering but it's not the only way." Said Will.
"For example they could enter through the window or the vents." Said Will, pointing above them to the ventilation shafts.
"What makes you think that?" Asked Kirishima.
"Well think about it, Kagemori could use her Animal Quirk to transform her body into different animal related body parts." Said Will.
"Which means they could either fly or enter the vents to take us by surprise as they think we'll be anticipating them through the door." Said Will, her years as being a leader and strategist never leaving her even after all these years.
"You keep an eye on the door in case they do enter that way, i'll keep an eye on the window and the Vents." Said Will.
Kirishima nodded and went towards the door while standing guard.
The class were amazed on how she was doing.
"Take notes of this students, Vandom is aware that heroes or villains could attack from anywhere and at anytime and must be prepared for when it happens, a true example of a well planned hero." Said All Might.
"Wow it's rather crazy in a way, she wasn't even on recommendation and yet she seems to do better at planning strategy then Kagemori is." Said Kaminari.
Jiro let out a huff.
"We'll see." Said Jiro.
Although they had another 15 minutes to find the bomb at least they know what they are up against and where the bomb could be.
They both studied the plans carefully until the match started, trying to come up with a plan when Michiru noticed something.
"Wait, do you see this?" Asked Michiru as she was showing Tokoyami a picture of the building, where there routes and locations of ventilation shafts across the building.
"Yeah, ventilation shafts wait, do you think we can use them?" Asked Tokoyami as he was starting to get what Michiru was thinking.
"They connect to every room, if I can get into one and find the room with the bomb we take them by surprise." Replied Michiru.
"Good idea, my quirk is better in close combat so I can go through the door." Said Tokoyami as he nodded.
"Just need to find where they are and go from there." Said Tokoyami as Michiru walked up to the entrance waiting for the match to start all the while leaving Tokoyami confused as he walked beside her.
"What are you doing?" Asked Tokoyami in confusion.
Michiru turned to him and smiled.
"Trust me." Replied Michiru.
"Teams H and J, your time starts now!" Yelled All Might.
Michiru wasted no time and begin the process.
Michiru's head began to shape shift as well as her mouth into a wolfs.
She calmed her mind and began to smell the air, she knew Kirishima and Will passed through the entrance so she could track them as long as the scent was fresh.
The bomb is a few floors up, 5th floor on the north side, closer to the windows this time. Thought Michiru.
They are inside up in there, it looks like there's something covered all across the weapon itself. Thought Michiru as she noticed a barrier around the weapon with several elements surrounding it.
Must be Vandom's doing, she must be making sure not to leave loose ends once we get inside. Thought Michiru.
Michiru's head morphed back to normal as she turned to Tokoyami with a plan.
"The bomb's on the 5th floor, north side where it's closer to the windows." Said Michiru.
"They are hauled up in the room, and it's covered in some sort of coating surrounding all around it." Said Michiru.
"Vandom's quirk, I see now, their best chance is to hold us out." Said Tokoyami.
"But the 5th floor will take us some time to get up." Said Tokoyami.
Michiru came up with an idea as she pointed towards the 5th floor.
"The windows, there's a room right by them that's connected to the windows, if we can cut through we can get to the room and take them by surprise." Said Michiru.
Michiru began to stretch as Tokoyami looked away trying not to look due to her costume.
"But how?" Asked Tokoyami as he was more confused.
"It's 5 floors up, I can't fly." Said Tokoyami when his eyes widened after realizing what Michiru meant as her arms began to grow feathers and her feet began to morph into bird-like talons.
D-Don't tell me, i'm so relieved my family isn't watching this. Thought Tokoyami as he embaressed at what she was suggesting, it was rather ironic in a way.
His head is in the shape of a bird but yet he can't fly, yet Michiru resembled nothing a bird and yet she can fly.
"But I can, are you gonna be okay with this?" Asked Michiru to check.
Tokoyami nodded in embarrassment.
"Okay good, you uhh might wanna stand still for this." Said Michiru as she grabbed Tokoyami's shoulders with her talons as she flew up in the air gently carrying him, knowing it was his first time.
The class watched as the two flew up to the 5th floor, Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to break open a window so they could sneak through while Michiru followed behind him as her arms and legs went back to normal.
"Wait, she can fly too?!" Asked Ashido in shock.
"You do realize her quirk let's her transform parts of her body into different animals right?" Asked Jiro in response.
"Well yeah but, I didn't know she could fly." Said Ashido as she pouted while her cheeks puffed as Koda tried to reassure her quietly.
"It's kinda funny thinking about it." Said Kaminari as he giggled watching the duo split up, preparing to attack.
Jiro raised an eyebrow.
"How so?" Asked Jiro in confusion.
"Well Kagemori can fly and yet Tokoyami is the one that looks like a bird." Said Kaminari.
"Pretty ironic if you ask me." Said Kaminari as he continued laughing.
Jiro didn't exactly enjoy how the boy was making fun of her friends but caught an idea.
"Well I haven't seen you use your Quirk during the test yesterday, you sure you aren't quirkless?" Asked Jiro.
Kaminari gritted his teeth, offended by Jiro's little joke of her own.
"Oh come on it was just a joke!" Yelled Kaminari.
"And for the record I do have a quirk!" Yelled Kaminari.
Now Jiro was the one giggling this time after seeing Kaminari's reaction.
"Hey guys it's about to go down." Said Sato as they all watched the screens.
All Might was watching every move and decision the teams made as he wrote notes on them.
Although Aizawa said to watch Kagemori as well as Vandom, he still doesn't feel like it's right.
Although their quirks could be in question, not their trust and loyalty to their friends are for sure.
"I'm ready when you are Kagemori." Said Tokoyami as they arrived at the front of the door that led to the room of the weapon.
Kagemori just made it to the vent that led into the room, unfortunately the vent was next to where Kirishima and Vandom.
She had to duck a couples and was almost spotted by Will when she was looking in her direction.
Did she anticipate this? Asked Michiru in worry.
If she planned ahead like this, then they could be in real trouble.
She reached for the headset in her ear and spoke to Tokoyami one more time.
"Alright, once I'm in I'll let you know." Said Michiru as she then morphed her body into a chameleon as her skin became camouflaged, including her own costume.
She slowly opened the vent without trying to catch their attention as she dropped down from the vent and sealed it behind her as she knew Will would notice it.
She creeped up behind one of the pillars, looking around the room to see what they were up against.
Jesus, I knew they prepared for us but I didn't think it was this prepared. Thought Michiru.
She moved back when she heard something behind her.
She turned to see Will walking on her direction.
She swore under her breath, trying to hide when Will came closer.
As she began to approach where Kagemori was, she began to panic, the moment she hid was when Will turned past the pillar.
"What is it?" Asked Kirishima as he started to walk up to Will.
"Huh nothing I guess, thought I heard something." Said Will.
They didn't realize that someone was watching them from the pillar he stood behind just a few feet above them.
Without thinking Kagemori climbed onto the walls of the pillar to further hide herself in plain sight before either Will or Kirishima could see her, thanks to her camouflage it was almost impossible for them to see her.
She still wondered how she was able to climb onto the wall but there was no time to think.
She shook it off when she reached for the headset as the villain team walked away.
"Ready." Said Tokoyami as he prepared himself as shadowy claw-like hands followed behind with arms emerged from his cloak.
"Ok, 1...2…" Said Michiru.
When suddenly a hand grabbed her arm.
She looked up to see Will, smirking at her.
"3." Said Will in a blank voice.
With her air power she was able to throw Michiru to the ground, not hard enough to hurt her.
Will held out her hand and blasted lighting from it at the door, which knocked Tokoyami to the wall.
He was dazed before he regained himself and stood up.
The class gasped in shock over what just happened.
"No way, how could she have found them, especially since Kagemori was in invisible!" Yelled Kaminari in utter shock.
And not only that but her lighting attack was like my electricity Quirk. Thought Kaminari.
"Somehow she knew Kagemori was there." Said Yaoyorozu in agreement.
"Looks like Vandom won't be an easy opponent to take down as Kagemori thought." Said Todoroki in a blank voice.
Kirishima ran towards Tokoyami while yelling.
Dark Shadow was doing efforts to hold him back, but it was still dazed from Will's lighting attack.
Both Will and Michiru glared at each other, circling around each other as to size each other up.
Will gave off a smile.
"I'm not gonna make this easy, you know that Kagemori." Said Will.
"But hey good luck, no hard feelings." Said Will.
Kagemori smiled as well, she knew it was just training but she could use her powers freely now.
"Same here!" Yelled Michiru as she ran forward as her legs morphed into cheetah legs while Will used the wings from her back to fly.
The class were once again shock at what they saw next.
"Hey no fair, nobody she could fly as well!" Yelled Kaminari.
"What did you think the wings on her back were for?" Asked Ashido.
Will began to shoot air and lighting attacks from it, not powerful enough to hurt her or destory the building as Bakugo's explosion, just capture her.
She began to speed forward as she dodged the attacks with her rabbit legs, she jumped up launched forward at him as she shot another of her air power to send her away.
Kirishima was shocked as he looked at Kagemori who had wings.
Wait she can fly, she didn't use this on the quirk test! Yelled Kirishima in his mind.
Kagemori changed in midair knowing Will will use her own wings to try and escape and formed her bird wings and talons to grab her.
She threw Will towards the wall and knocked her out, which would give her the time needed to get to the weapon.
"Hey you tried Vandom, no hard feel- ahh!" Yelled Michiru as she was so caught in the moment that she was distracted.
Because she looked down trying to tell Will something in midair she nearly ran into countless strings of vines made of out of the earth, it was karma for getting distracted in mid-battle.
After realizing her mistake, she tried her best to maneuver the vines without getting caught.
Because of the quick, constant turns in midair to avoid the vines as she was now headed for the wall.
With little time she morphed her arms back to normal and turned herself over, attempting to use her tail to cushion the impact.
However, instead of her tail growing, she unlocked something new as her back began to glow blue.
Michiru felt herself hit the wall hard, but when she dropped down she felt slower but unscathed.
When Michiru looked at her back she realized that a shell had grown on her back.
Wait is this a turtle shell? Asked Michiru in surprise, her powers keep catching her off gaurd.
Jeez, well it's gotta be strong from how the wall looks. Thought Michiru as she looked at the wall she impacted, surprised to see a small crater from her shell.
But there was no time to think about her new ability, she needed to focus on the match.
She looked over to see Kirishima was taking a beating from Tokoyami as he kept holding back Dark Shadow's attacks.
She noticed parts of his skin seemed hardened and uneven like rocks, realizing his quirk must make his skin harden.
Kirishima kept pushing forward trying to take Tokoyami's attacks as the bird headed boy moved back, trying to push him into Sero's flytrap he had set earlier.
Kagemori didn't know much time was left, she knew Sero was temporarily stuck while Tokoyami and Kirishima were at a stalemate.
With Will still after, she can't help Tokoyami take down Kirishima and get to the bomb, all she needed was time.
The fight between Sero and Michiru nearly began as Tokoyami called out Dark Shadow to push Kirishima further back from Will.
That was when Kirishima's skin began to harden like rock as he took on dark shadows attack.
So that's his quirk, he can harden his skin like a shield. Thought Tokoyami as he paused for a moment, now rethinking his original strategy after realizing Kirishima's quirk.
They could be at a stalemate because of it but maybe he can buy time or wear him down he thought.
"You weren't expecting that, weren't you Tokoyami?" Asked Kirishima with a grin, showing his shark like teeth.
"No I wasn't, this fight may take longer than I expected." Replied Tokoyami calmly.
Dark Shadow's claws once again charged forward at Kirishima.
He covered his face like a boxer as the skin on his arms hardened, once again blocking Tokoyami's attacks.
Kirishima began charging forward trying to take on the constant attacks from Dark Shadow.
Dark Shadow did what he could to slow Kirishima down but he eventually made it to Tokoyami, taking him by surprise.
He hardened his arm in an attempt to strike Tokoyami as he was pushed back to a pillar, forcing the bird headed boy to run to the side as Kirishima demolished the side of a pillar.
I hope Kagemori is doing better than I am right now. Thought Tokoyami as he moved further back while Kirishima removed his arm from the pillar, trying to think of a new plan.
He looked around the room to see if there was something he could use when he noticed the lights, but it would be risky on what he could do so he threw away the idea in his head.
He knew his limits and with the ones he set for himself, he didn't want to take any risks.
The best thing he could do was hope Kirishima had a limit on his quirk and keep him back the best he can until then.
"Dark Shadow, keep him back as best you can." Said Tokoyami as Dark Shadow appeared from within his cloak, giving a thumbs up.
"Got it!" Yelled Dark Shadow as he once again charged forward as he clawed at Kirishima while he fought back.
The fight was a stalemate but it wouldn't be long until the tides turn.
Kirishima was slowly pushing forward, dodging and fighting Dark Shadow the best he could, forcing Tokoyami to move back to avoid close combat.
I just need to keep pushing forward. Thought Tokoyami as he continued to move back when he started to feel something to his cloak.
It was one of the vines Will made ealier during her fight with Michiru, catching him off guard.
Kirishima saw an opening as he pushed Dark Shadow to the side charging forward at one last attempt to break the stalemate.
Tokoyami did his best to get free but didn't have enough time to get Dark Shadow to return or to get free to avoid Kirishima's attack.
I hope you can win this Kagemori. Thought Tokoyami as Kirishima was only inches away from Tokoyami until he was kicked away from him.
Tokoyami watched as Michiru punched Kirishima with her large arm to the wall, giving her time to cut Tokoyami loose off the vine as her claws grew.
the duo recovered and prepared to tag team Kirishima and Will.
The class was amazed by their performance.
"They're so lucky with those quirks." Said Sato.
"The way they used their quirks is impressive if you ask me." Said Yaoyorozu.
"Yeah, how Kagemori was all stealthy." Said Ashido in a happy attitude.
"Yeah, but Vandom's still keeping her on edge and she still has Kagemori on the ropes, Kagemori may not be able to defeat her if they keep this up." Said Ojiro.
"I know, but Kagemori and Tokoyami are pretty good as a team." Said Ashido.
"Especially Kagemori, she's used her quirk really well." Said Ashido in amazement.
"Not surprising since she's the Silver Wolf's daughter!" Yelled Yoarashi.
The entire class even All Might looked over directly at Yoarashi after his comment.
Oh crap don't tell me I just pissed them off now. Thought Yoarashi as he wa starting to worry.
"Wait, whose daughter?" Asked Uraraka as she raised an eyebrow.
"You never heard of the new hero who calls himself Silver Wolf hero recently?" Asked Jiro .
"Oh I've heard of him, he is indeed an incredible hero." Said Ida as he gave off a compliment.
"I heard Silver Wolf was taking on more criminals then compared to when Endeavor was new I think." Said Sato.
"You hear that Todoroki?" Asked Kaminari as he nudged Todoroki's shoulder playfully.
"Your old man may actually have some competition." Said Kaminari.
Todoroki simply stared at the screen.
He began to clench his fist as he was starting put the pieces together.
So she really is the daughter of that wolf huh? Asked Todoroki in his head.
No wonder my old man is so pissed off lately. Thought Todoroki as he remembered the events of what happened after the recommendation exam.
Flashback
"Hey Fuyumi." Said Todoroki.
"Hey Shoto, how was the exam?" Asked Fuyumi, a young woman with white hair as Todoroki came back home from the recommendation exam.
"It was fine, I'm just waiting for the results." Replied Todoroki.
"Speaking of results, dad wants to talk to you about it." Said Fuyumi as she was nervous.
"He's gonna have to wait then." Said Todoroki as he walked to his room, when he was only a few feet from his door he heard a familiar voice he hated right behind him.
"We need to talk about your exam boy." Said the voice.
He seemes annoyed or pissed off more than usual. Thought Shoto thought as he turned around.
"We have nothing to talk about." Said Todoroki.
"Oh we do, I was notified you got 3rd on the recommendation exam." Said Endeavor, being the Number 2 hero has advantages.
"So what?" Asked Shoto in annoynace.
"I still did fine without your damn quirk." Said Todoroki.
"But you let that little racoon beat you, I was told that two people beat you in the exam and one of them just happened to get first place at the last second." Said Endeavor as the fire on his face began to grew hotter.
"I have enough to deal with as it is ever since that so-called Silver Wolf appeared but I'm not gonna let some girl ruin everything I worked so hard to achieve." Said Endeavor in anger.
"You are here for one reason, sooner or later you will see that and you will do as I say." Said Endeavor.
Todoroki became scoffed at him as he walked away into his room.
The moment he closed the door he leaned on it as he slid down hitting the floor.
He didn't want this, he didn't need this as he put his hand on the left side of his face when something came to him.
So he's having some competition huh. Thought Todoroki.
About damn time someone beats that bastard. Thought Todoroki with a smile.
Presently
"You okay, Tokoyami?" Asked Michiru asked her teammate as she got him free from the vines.
"I'm fine, where's Vandom?" Asked Tokoyami as he looked around.
"Right here." Said Will's voice, just above them.
They looked up and barley dodged as Will fired another lighting attack.
Though she was able to hit Dark Shadow.
Tokoyami looked down and noticed Dark Shadow.
Crap, she weakened Dark Shadow, which means he won't last much longer in this fight. Thought Tokoyami.
The duo looked towards Kirishima trying to get free from the wall he was kicked into and Will flying above them as they devised a plan.
"Get to the weapon." Said Tojoyami.
Michiru looked over at Tokoyami as he walked forward once again calling out for Dark Shadow.
"Wait, we can take them out together!" Yelled Michiru.
"All we need to do is touch the weapon right?" Asked Tokoyami.
"Since we can't defeat in combat, this is our only to win, you're much faster than me." Said Tokoyami.
"But..." Said Michiru, she knew he was right but she couldn't leave him.
Tokoyami looked back at Michiru.
"Trust me." Said Tokoyami.
Michiru finally agreed to Tokoyami's plan as her arms once again morphed into wings and turned towards the weapon.
While Tokoyami bought her time, she maneuvered her way over to the weapon as she slowly got closer to it with Will right behind her.
Almost there, just need to reach it! Yelled Michiru in her mind.
Michiru's arms morphed back to normal as she flew in midair, she was only a few feet away from the weapon and with her momentum going forward, she would touch it in seconds.
That was until something began to wrap around her stomach as it pulled her back.
She looked down to see it was vines and she already knew what it meant.
Will was able to capture her with her earth powers and to try and keep Michiru back as she pulled her arm back like a fish was the hook.
No I refuse to lose! Yelled Michiru as she straightened her arm out reaching forward as her arm stretched to the bomb.
The moment she reached out to touch it, soemthing was off.
Something actually shocked her hand.
She yelped and pulled back and saw that there was a barrier surrounding it.
Both Tokoyami and Michiru's eyes widen when they saw this.
Will smirked as she flew over.
"I knew you tried to go for the weapon to win so i made a little backup plan in case you did." Said Will.
Flashback
Will held up her hand and several barriers for different elements.
First Earth, then Air, Water, Fire, Chthonian and finally Quintessence.
Kirishima looked at her in confusion.
"Don't forget the only way to win the exercise is to either capture us or the weapon, this way if they go after the weapon, they'll have trouble doing it." Said Will.
Present
Michiru just flew there in shock.
She anticipated everything i could do, i can't beat her, she's beaten me. Thought Michiru as she fell to the ground with a blank look on her face, pracitally saying she gives up.
Will flew down behind her and wrapped the capture tape around.
"Sorry Kagemori, it's nothing personal." Said Will, trying to make her feel better.
"The villain team…WINS!" Yelled All Might as the class went silent after witnessing the aftermath of the match.
"That was more insane then i thought." Said Kaminari.
Jiro was completely shocked that she was speechless.
I can't believe it, Michiru, lost? Asked Jiro in her head as she herself was surprised at this.
"Aww man really?" Asked Kirishima with a sigh as he walked alongside Tokoyami towards their other teammates.
"I was so close…" Said Michiru as she felt defeated as she stood up.
Will unwrapped her from the tape, since the exercise was over now, there was no need to keep her wrapped up.
"Hey don't worry you did pretty good, I almost thought I was gonna lose too." Said Will, trying to cheer up, now feeling bad for winning.
They all made their way back to the observation room to hear their results and the MVP of the match.
"Teams H and J, well done!" Yelled All Might.
"Especially the Hero Team but don't worry there's always room for improvement!" Yelled All Might, trying not to make Michiru feel bad.
"Now who thinks the MVP should be class?" Asked All Might to the class.
This time Ida the first to raise his hand before Yaoroyozu as he began.
"I believe it would be Vandom sir, she used her quirk in a variety of ways to help her and Kirshima create a plan, and win the match." Said Ida.
"She never once let down her guard and even created backup plans in case something went wrong." Said Ida.
"I agree, Kagemori was aware of her surroundings and adapted to it, However, Kagemori relied too much on hit and run tactics while not knowing the extent of her quirk." Said Yaoyorozu.
"This would be why she got defeated in the process, becuase she let her guard down to much, while Kirishima and Tokoyami were at a stalemate, only ending with Vandom to break it." Said Yaoroyozu as she pointed out while the class tried to keep up with the two students as All Might tried to write down notes.
"Yeah same here, they all did incredible but if Tokoyami and Sero can train to be good in both close and long range combat then they're solid!" Yelled Yoarashi.
"Same thing goes for Kirishima, since his quirk is good only for close range, he would have to train in long range too!" Yelled Yoarashi as he gave a thumbs up.
"Well… does anyone else have anything else against what they said or anything to point out?" Asked All Might.
The class remained silent as All Might concluded the MVP would go to Will.
"Again, well done teams now let's continue to the next match!" Yelled All Might.
Soon enough all the matches were finally done and everyone was outside with All Might blowing on a whistle.
"That's a wrap!" Yelled All Might.
"Super work, you really stepped up to the plate." Said All Might.
"We had no major injuries except for Midoriya." Said All Might.
Will glared at All Might.
And who's fault is it that Midoriya had to injure himself to win that fight. Thought Will.
"But you should be proud, excellent first day of training all around!" Yelled All Might as he gave a thumps up.
"It's nice to hear from some encouragement after our Homeroom class." Said Asui.
Everyone thought of Aizawa and dropped their heads.
"Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzz-kill." Said Asui as most of the students nodded in agreement.
"What do you mean kind of?" Asked Michiru as Will nodded in agreement.
"I'm happy to bring such staggering students with positively in my own Alma matta!" Yelled All Might.
Will let out a sweat drop.
Is he actually being dramatic or just to get attention? Asked Will in her mind.
"That's all for now folks, i should check on Young Midoriya's progress." Said All Might.
"Now watch how a Pro exists, like this!" Yelled All Might as he began to zoom down the hallway the group entered from as they all stood there amazed at All Might's speed.
"Okay you guys, that was amazing!" Yelled Kaminari.
"I'll never be able to run that fast." Said Ojiro.
Will went on ahead.
"Aren't you coming, Vandom?" Asked Uraraka in confusion.
"In a minuet, i want to check on Midoriya too." Replied Will as she flew off, hoping to catch up to All Might.
All Might looked behind him to see that Bakugo still hasn't changed since the end of the first match.
Young Bakugo really is overflowing with pride, his ego may be justified but a school like U.A. is bound to shatter it. Thought All Might.
As his teacher, it's my sworn duty to council him well, but it'll have to wait. Thought All Might as steam began to appear on his body, meaning his time was up.
He entered the nurse's office with Will right behind him as he closed the door behind him.
I can't hold this form any longer! Yelled All Might as he turned back into his skeletal form.
I've barley had time to teach one class, shit. Thought All Might,
He was taking a moment to breathe before heading for the Nurse's Office.
They went inside to see Midoriya bandaged and unconscious on a bed while Recovery Girl was sitting down.
"All Might, this is really starting to get out of hand, this is only the second day U.A. and Midoriya's already becoming a recurring patient for a Nurse, why didn't you stop that fight?" Asked Will.
"I'm afraid i must agree All Might, it's only going to be a matter of time before my Quirk doesn't even work on him anymore." Said Recovery Girl.
"Your right Recovery Girl, I'm sorry." Said All Might.
"I don't see how apologizing to her is gonna help!" Yelled Will in anger.
She turned to look at Midoriya.
"How is he?" Asked Will with great worry.
"The poor dear, he's too exhausted from his classes for my Quirk." Replied Recovery Girl as she turned to look at Midoriuya.
"I can't treat all his injuries at once, i did some first aid, but after the IV is finished we'll have to wait for his body to heal overnight." Said Recovery Girl.
"Come on All Might, I know you passed your powers on to this boy but you can't spoil him." Said Recovery Girl turning away from him.
Will turned around in surprise.
"Oh so, you know about One for All?" Asked Will.
"Oh my yes deary, who'd you think treated All Might's injuries when he first got them?" Asked/Replied Recovery Girl.
"I am trying not to play favorites, i wanted to consider his feelings though." Said All Might as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"He needed to see that he was capable of winning the exercise." Said All Might.
"Oh yeah, also." Said All Might as he glared at Recovery Girl.
"Will you please not talk so loudly about One for All when anyone around you could here!" Yelled All Might as he pressed his finger to his lips in a shush movement.
He was concerned that if people found out about his true powers, villains across the globe could try and take it.
He trusted Midoriya and Vandom with not only his secret but the power itself, but with it came the responsibility of protecting the world from it.
"Yeah yeah I know Mr. Natural Born Hero, Mr. Symbol of Peace." Said Recovery Girl as she turned to her computer as she typed.
"Several people know of my injury and this form like the staff and a circle of Pro-Heroes." Said All Might as he gestured to himself.
"However, only a select few people known about the secret, One for All." Said All Might.
"There's you, the principle, and a former friend of mine, Young Vandom and Midoriya too of course, but no one else knows the truth about my powers." Said All Might.
"Wait, Principle Nezu knows of One for All?" Asked Will in shock.
"Kinda had to explain it to him when i started teaching here." Replied All Might.
"Your the Number 1 hero in Japan, All Might." Said Recovery Girl.
"Does it really matter if you were born with your Quirk or not?" Asked Recovery Girl, her back still facing All Might.
"Do you have to be the Symbol of Peace?" Asked Recovery Girl again.
"Is it that important?" Asked Recovery Girl.
"If they knew i wasn't, the temptation of this power could corrupt our society." Replied All Might.
He looked at his hand.
"This Quirk, the people using it are responsible for mankind's saftey." Said All Might.
Recovery Girl let out a sigh.
"I'm quite aware of the risks All Might, I stand by you for whatever decision you make but you must be careful, especially now that you're training your successor." Said Recovery Girl.
"By the way I remember what you told me earlier, did you finish spying on Kagemori?" Asked Recovery Girl as she turend around.
"For someone trying to lead by example you sure are acting snoopy." Said Recovery Girl with an annoyed tone, making All Might cough up blood.
"Is he gonna be alright if he keeps doing that?" Asked Will.
What Aizawa didn't know that since All Might had a close 'friendship' with Vandom, that he told her of spying on both her and Michiru, this was able to get her to be more careful but he still had to do it with Michiru.
"I know it's the wrong thing to do but Aizawa asked me to." Said All Might as he began to rub the back of his neck again.
"Besides I don't have anything against her, she's so far been an incredible student but I understand why Aizawa is worried." Said All Might.
"I mean, I would be surprised too if I found out I couldn't erase her quirk." Said All Might.
"It still bugs me how her quirk couldn't be erased, her quirk is transformation based so the moment Aizawa activated his quirk, she should've morphed back to normal." Said Recovery Girl.
"The only quirk types he can't fully erase are mutant types. " Said All Might as he held his chin.
"Then why not ask her care taker?" Asked Will.
"She was taken in by somebody, might know what her parents quirks were." Said Will as she suggested.
"I guess it's not a bad idea." Said All Might in agreement.
"Just remember it's a big world now that quirks are around, you can find just about any ability that was considered a myth." Said Recovery Girl as All Might nodded, once more looking over at Midoriya before he began to walk away with Vandom behind him since she still had classes.
'Kagemori isn't that much different from me or Midoriya, they had a nice life until quirks came along. Thought Will.
We've both lost friends because of quirks and yet it made them in a way stronger. Thought Will.
But there's something else about Kagemori's powers. Thought Will as she was recalling match with her and Tokoyami when she used her power.
Her back glowed blue before she morphed it into a turtle shell and he even noticed her arms stretched which was why they nearly came close to win the match.
If she and her care taker came from another world like i did, then this must mean something, question is, how did even they get here in the first place? Asked Will in her head, since there was no way they could have entered this world the same way she did.
All Might remembered the words Recovery Girl said as he walked towards the teachers area to give his report and notes to Aizawa.
Class 1-A did well for their first time training but they still had much to learn if they were to become heroes.
Sometime later Midoriya finally woke up and noticed his surroundings.
He looked up at the clock and noticed it was nearly four in the afternoon.
It's late afternoon. Thought Midoriya.
Recovery Girl went right to his face.
"Raise and shine, sleepy head." Said Recovery Girl.
This spooked Midoriya a bit.
Midodriya was walking back to class with a cast on his arm.
He kept thinking of Recovery Girl's words.

Midoriya let out a sigh.
I missed all my afternoon classes, Mr. Aizawa is gonna choke me with that with that scarf of his. Thought Midoriya as he looked out the window and noticed the sun was setting.
He entered the class room, slowly, as if he was anticipating a punishment for entering.
After School, Earlier before Midoriya came
School was practically over now, some of Class 1-A was in their classroom still while they waited on a few people.
Midoriya still hasn't returned from the nurses which worried some of the class.
"I knew Midoriya took a beating but I didn't think he would be out for the entire day." Said Sato.
"He did take a lot of hits from Bakugo during that match." Mina added.
"The least that jerk could've done was say sorry for the way he acted, we're here to learn on how to become heroes and he's treating it like a joke." Said Michiru as she was was still frustrated over how Bakugo acted during training.
She hasn't anyone so aggressive and merciless like that in a long time.
The fact that they were training to become heroes made it an even bigger problem with his pride.
He looked so defeated after the match that he hasn't even said a word after that.
Will let out a scoff.
"Getting Bakugo to apologize for his actions is like asking Water not to drown people, impossible!" Yelled Will, directly at Bakugo himself.
"He's probably just a little bit overconfident." Said Kirishima as he tried to relax the situation but it made both girls look over with a raised eyebrow.
"Define a little?" Asked Michiru.
Kirishima looked to the side, putting his hand on the back of his head.
"Fair point, but I don't disagree with you two though." Said Kirishima.
"He was over the top during that match." Said Kirishima.
A couple people next to them nodded.
"So on a different note, your guys thoughts on school?" Asked Ashido in a positive tone.
"Pretty interesting." Said Shoji.
"Not what I was expecting." Said Ida.
"Same here." Said Tokoyami.
"Nice making new friends." Said Will.
"Yeah, but I prefer friends that don't try and blow your face off for something they didn't like." Said Michiru.
Kagemori's joke made some of the class laugh while others nodded in agreement until they heard the door open, seeing a familiar face.
"Hey it's Midoriya!" Yelled Kirishima as a small portion of their class walked up to the bandaged boy.
"Good to see you back, super!" Yelled Kirishima.
"Man i don't what you said during that match with Bakugo but you all fire up!" Yelled Kirishima.
Midoriya became embarrassed as everyone by him began to introduce themselves.
He never had this much attention before, so he didn't know how to react but it was nice making some new friends though.
"I can't believe you held you own against Bakugo, he's super strong." Said Sero.
"You did a great job dodging!" Yelled Ashido as she giggled while closing her eyes.
"You guys really turned up in the first match so none of us held back in our matches." Said Sato.
"You should seen the match between Kagemori and Vandom, it was nothing like ours, in fact their team was like the only villain team that won!" Yelled Ashido in excitement.
"Hey, i'm Eijiro Kirishima." Said Kirishima as he introduced himself.
"We've been going over training results while you were in recovery." Said Kirishima as he pointed to himself and Sero.
"Hi, i'm Hanta Sero." Said Sero, introducing himself.
"I'm Mina Ashido and i gotta say your dodging is so cool!" Yelled Ashido, introducing herself, yet still excited at the same time.
Didn't she already said that? Asked Will in her head.
Asui came up from behind Ashido.
"Tsuyu Asui, but please call me Tsu." Said Asui.
"Hey, Sato." Said Sato, keeping his introduction short.
"Um, hey guys." Said Midoriya as he was still nervous.
"Glad to see you're doing okay Midoriya!" Yelled Yoarashi nearly startling Midoriya as he came out to the front.
"Where did you even come from?" Asked Kirishima in surprise as he didn't even see Yoarashi anywhere near them.
Tokoyami, Michiru, Ojiro and Jiro were looking at the group as their conversation.
"So noisy." Said Tokoyami.
"Tokoyami, stop using that desk as a chair!" Yelled Ida as he ran over to them.
"Get off it this instant!" Yelled Ida.
"Dude you need to chill." Said Jiro simply which shocked Ida.
Tokoyami merely looked away.
"Yeah, he's just sitting on it, it's not like he writing graffiti on it or something." Said Michiru.
"Your carrying a lot of tension." Said Ojiro in agreement.
"No one understands, i cannot condemn actions that disrepect these desks, not when great men and woman have also once used them!" Yelled Ida.
"Also noisy." Said Tokoyami in annoyance.
Michiru giggled as they tried to convince him it's not a big deal.
"Boy, you never relax, do you?" Asked Will as Midoriya lets out a nervous laugh.
He actually reminds me of Uncle in a way. Thought Will as she remebered the cranky magic user old man.
Uraraka and Kaminari entered the classroom with books in their arms.
"So anyway, wanna grab a bite sometimes, what kind of stuff you like?" Asked Kaminari.
Uraraka pondered for a moment.
"Anything sweet, i guess." Said Uraraka.
She noticed Midoriya and gasped as she ran over to him.
Kaminari sighed, feeling rejected.
"Hey Deku, are you feeling okay?" Asked Uraraka as she noticed he was still in a cast.
"Yeah, i'm fine, i just need to return tommorow so she can finish." Replied Midoriya.
Michiru was relieved to see her fellow classmate was okay, despite the broken arm and bandages, at least he was walking.
Midoriya gasped when he saw Bakugo's desk empty.
"Umm, Uraraka, where's Katchan?" Asked Midoriya.
"You mean Bakugo?" Asked Uraraka.
"He left already, we tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen, you just missed him." Replied Uraraka.
Midoriya run out down the hall.
"Where are you going?" Asked Will as she ran after him.
Michiru saw this and ran up to Uraraka.
"Wait where is he going?" Asked Michiru in confusion.
"He's trying to find Bakugo." Replied Uraraka.
"Wait why?" Asked Michriu, now feeling even more confused, Bakugo tried to kill him during the exercise, she would have thought the last thing Midoriya needed was to talk to her.
"I don't know let's find out, come on!" Yelled Uraraka and a few classmates went to the windows to watch the duo talk outside.
Midoriya reached outside as he noticed Bakugo just leaving.
"Katchan!" Yelled Midoriya as he ran up to Bakugo.
Bakugo ignored him and continued walking.
"Wait up!" Yelled Midoriya.
Bakugo finally stopped.
"What?" Asked Bakugo, his voice tense.
Midoriya stopped and looked down at the ground.
I haven't told anyone about this secret. Thought Midoriya.
Not even my mom. Thought Midoriya.
"I have to tell you something, maybe then, you'll understand what's going on." Replied Midoriya.
"I wasn't hiding my Quirk from you, it was given to me by someone else, recently." Said Midoriya, having to talk fast or he'll never get his chance.
This got Bakugo's attention.
"But i can't tell you who i got from so don't ask!" Yelled Midoriya, knowing Bakugo would ask a question like that.
"Sounds crazy i know, it's like something out of a comic book." Said Midoriya, still not believing this is happening to him, even after those injuries.
"Only it's real." Said Midoriya.
"The thing is, i don't have any control over this power yet." Said Midoriya.
"I haven't figure out how to make it my own, but i'm trying." Said Midoriya.
"That's why, i didn't want to use it against you in the exercise, but in the end it was the only way that i had a chance of winning." Said Midoriya.
Bakugo was starting to get more tense.
"I've still got a lot to learn, i know that, that's why i'm here." Said Midoriya.
Midoriya placed a hand on his cast.
"You'll see, i'll work till i have full control over this borrowed Quirk." Said Midoriya in determination.
"And i'll finally beat you with my own power." Said Midoriya as he looked up at Bakugo.
This made both speechless with what Midoriya's last comment.
Oh crap, what am i saying?! Yelled Midroiya as he cannot believe he said that, and in front of Bakugo no less.
I was only supposed to tell him i wasn't tricking him. Thought Midoriya, now wondering what he should do.
"How dumb do you think i am?" Asked Bakguo, making Midoriya gasp and look at Bakugo once again.
Bakugo turned around fully.
"Borrowed power?" Asked Bakugo as thought the statement itself was idiotic.
"Don't treat me like i'm an idiot, you already made a fool out of me in that damn training exercise, so did you come here to rub in?" Asked Bakugo.
"I lost, and to make matters worse, it was to you!" Yelled Bakugo as his body was shaking.
"I didn't even came first to exam, it was stolen by the red haired girl and that's not even enough." Said Bakugo.
He was thinking about the previous matches, particularly Todoroki and Will & Michiru's matches.
"When i saw that ice guy, i realized that i couldn't beat him in a head to head combat or with red or that damn raccoon, not in a real fight!" Yelled Bakugo.
He then remembered Yaoyorozu's statement of using his powers.
He put a hand over his face.
"Crap, i even agreed what that raven girl said, my attack was so stupid!" Yelled Bakugo, as though he was about to cry.
His hand kept fidigting while saying Damn It, over and over again.
"Enjoy that win, Deku!" Yelled Bakugo.
"You won't get another, i'm just getting started!" Yelled Bakugo as he revealed his face.
Midoriya gasped in shock when he saw Bakguo was actually crying.
"Got that?!" Yelled Bakugo in demand.
"I'm gonna end up as the Number 1 Hero, no matter what!" Yelled Bakugo.
Bakugo walked away while wiping the tears away from his eyes.
"You'll never beat me again, Deku you bastard, don't even try!" Yelled Bakugo.
Midoriya was left speechless after what Bakugo just said.
"Wow." Said a voice from behind him.
He turned around to see Will standing behind her, just as surprised as he was.
"I have to admit, i wasn't expecting this Bakugo." Said Will, know not sure if she went to far by slapping him.
"Yeah, me neither." Said Midoriya.
"But onto to the businesses at hand, why were you telling Bakugo about One for All, you know that has to be a secret." Said Will.
Midoriya looked down.
"I know, i just felt guilty as all, and i thought he had at least deserve to know." Replied Midoriya.
"It wasn't any of his business how he lost, he beat you up to nearly the point of death, he could have been left in the dark for all i care." Said Will.
Will sighed.
"I'll let All Might scold you for this, just try not to tell everyone you beaten with that Quirk." Said Will.
"Deal." Said Midoriya with a soft smile.
What they didn't know was that, Michiru, Uraraka, Asui and Ashido were watching them.
"I wonder what all that was about?" Asked Ashido.
"Yeah, what is the deal with these two?" Asked Michiru.
"Their old friends turned into rivals." Replied Uraraka as she briefly explained.
"Whatever Midoriya said to him, it look like Bakugo really wanted to punch him." Said Asui.
That explains a lot but why is Midoriya doing this though? Asked Michiru as she thought back to Bakugo nearly attacking Midoriya during the quirk test and the way they acted to one another during training.
It still makes me feel weird after Bakugo said that to Midoriya. Thought Michiru.
"Wow, High School is crazier than I thought." Said Uraraka.
"Tell me about it, it's only been two days and we've already got tension between our classmates now, ribbit." Said Asui.
"Ugh... and to think I was gonna be going back to normal school for once." Said Michiru as she sighed.
The three other girls looked over at her with confused looks.
"Wait for once?" Asked Ashido.
"What do you mean by normal school, ribbit?" Asked Asui
"Heh normal school?" Asked Michiru as she was now nervous.
"Did I say that?" Asked Michiru as she started to sweat.
"Sorry I meant something else!" Yelled Michiru as she let out a faked laughed, trying to shake off the attention she was getting.
"Then what was it?" Asked Uraraka.
Michiru looked at the time and came up with an idea.
"It's getting late, we should better get going since schools over!" Yelled Michiru.
The three other girls agreed and forgot about the question as they walked back to class.
Luckily they didn't ask the questions again so Michiru felt relieved that her secret was safe.
School was finally over, the fact he had to teach and be at the school was tiring enough but a job is a job he thought.
He was going through every video of the matches his students fought in.
Some did better than most but they all needed improvement.
But there were a few he couldn't get his mind off of.
Bakugo needed to control his emotions, his grudge and anger against Midoriya is what made him lose including his pride.
Midoriya on the other hand needs to control his quirk, if he keeps injuring himself every time then he's gonna make the opposite of progress.
Then there was two girls, Vandom and Kagemori, the girl that made first place in the recommendation exam with an interesting Quirk.
A red haired girl who got first place at the entrance exam with a really powerful Quirk.
A quirk that lets her transform parts of her body into different animals and mutate them.
And a Quirk that allows Vandom to manipulate the elements themselves
What didn't make sense was why their quirk was immune to his own.
When he watched the combat training recordings, the way Kagemori moved and fought shows she has experience with her quirk, but there was something else.
He looked closer to when she maneuvered Will's vines all the while flying and right before she hit the wall he saw her back glow blue before she morphed it into a turtle shell.
He looked closer at the strange glow and began to realize something.
That glow, it was the same thing in the recommendation exam but it came from her back this time. Thought Aizawa.
He looked back to a recording of the exams, watching before Kagemori got first, her legs glowed blue for a shorter time before they morphed into rabbit legs.
Does she have a dual quirk like Todoroki? Asked Aizawa in his head.
Or is it another ability of her own quirk? Asked Aizawa again as he didn't have all the answers yet but he had to keep watching her ad that red haired girl.
He didn't knew why, but he had a feeling that the red girl was going to be more trouble then the rest of the students.
He told All Might to watch them during training but there wasn't anything to report so either he missed what Aizawa saw or he lied to him.
He couldn't trust The Symbol Of Peace to make that mistake again so he decided to go to someone else for help as he pulled out his phone and began to dial.
It only took a couple seconds until someone answered.
"Hello Aizawa, how can I help you?" Asked Nezu.
"Principal Nezu, I need to talk to you about one of my students." Replied Aizawa.
A Few Hours Later
"Let me get this straight, Michiru Kagemori, her care taker and Will Vandom are from another dimension?" Asked Aizawa.
He couldn't even believe what he was hearing.
He thought Nezu was crazy.
"Isn't it obvious?" Asked Nezu in a positive tone, making Aizawa's eyes twitch.
"As for Kagemori and Ogami, in their dimension, instead of some of the population having Quirks they have the power to turn into animals?" Asked Aizawa, making sure he heard right.
"Actually half animal but yes!" Yelled Nezu in response.
Aizawa was beginning to fit the pieces together.
A power outage that led to multiple explosions after a large amount of light appeared in Musutafu.
A new pro hero who suddenly appears out of nowhere, taking down some of Japan's toughest criminals who happens to be the care taker of a girl with an interesting quirk.
"And you tell me this now?" Asked Aizwa in anger, not like being left in the dark.
"Everyone already knew of Vandom during the faculty meeting before spring." Said Nezu.
"I'm starting to think i shouldn't have skipped that." Said Aizawa.
"I deeply apologize Aizawa, I should've told you but I was under orders of detective Tsukauchi not to say anything." Said Nezu.
Aizawa sighed.
"So even if I went to the police they still would've told me the same thing huh?" Asked Aizawa as he was rubbed his face with his free hand, sighing once more.
"Yes, they've had a case going since their arrival." Replied Nezu.
"They are still trying to understand the cause of how they got here but have had no luck." Said Nezu.
"I need you to tell me what you know, not just about what happened to them but about my student and her care taker." Said Aizawa.
Nezu wasn't surprised to hear him ask this, but he wasn't sure if he was ready for the whole story.
"Are you sure Aiza-" Asked Nezu before he was interupted.
"Please, I need to know who they really are otherwise how do I know her and Silver Wolf aren't potential targets?" Asked Aizawa.
"How do I know if they weren't brought here by mistake?" Asked Aizawa.
Nezu understood his concern, only a handful of people have known about the duo since their arrival.
And about Vandom as well.
Detective Tsukauchi only wanted people they could trust but kept on the down low.
Nezu had no choice but to tell Aizawa, but he knew he wouldn't go and say a word.
"I'll start with the minor details but it will take a while..." Said Nezu as he started to explain.
It had only been two days since U.A. started and it felt like a lot had happened, little did Class 1-A know, their journey was only beginning.
In the dead of night, a young man with blue and red eyes with hands covering his body, even his face. was reading a newspaper in a bar while a man with black smoke covering his body was cleaning glass.
"Did you see this joke?" Asked the young man.
"It says he's a teacher now." Said the young man as he put his glass on All Might's picture, causing it to damp.
"Hey, what do you think'll happen if the mighty Symbol of Peace, is finally killed by the villains." Said the young man.
A/N: Man i know this a lot of time but this one has to be one of my longest chapters in this fanfiction yet.
