Chapter 17: All Might & Silver Wolf
The students were in delight as they saw All Might walk in.
"I couldn't help but shake the feeling that something had gone wrong in here, when Aizawa and Thirteen didn't answer my calls." Said All Might.
"So i hurried over and ran into Young Ida along the way, he told me of the villainy at work here." Said All Might.
All Might's scowled deepens.
I can't believe all of this was happening while i was just resting. Thought All Might.
I hate to think of how fearful these children must be and how hard my colleagues fought to protect them. Thought All Might.
The only thing i can do know is reassure them that things will be okay, that's my duty as the Symbol of Peace. Thought All Might.
"Have no fear students." Said All Might as he ripped off his tie by force.
"Because I Am Here!" Yelled All Might.
"Whoa, take a look at that, Midoriya." Said Will as she pointed to All Might's face.
"He's not smiling." Said Midoriya with worry, as his smile was a iconic look.
Shigaraki stood up, ignoring Michiru.
"After all this waiting, the heroic piece of trash shows up at last." Said Shigaraki as he let out a laugh.
The thugs that eventually recovered were surprised but also a bit frightened to see the Symbol of Peace himself.
"Holy crap, it's All Might." Said one thug.
All Might threw away his coat.
"I've seen the guy in person before." Said the second thug with nervousness.
"I didn't expect him to be so huge." Said the third thug.
"This is no time to talk you idiots, if we strike now, we can-" Sadi the fourth thug before was cut off by a punch to the face, the others near him suffered the same fate being knocked out once more.
All Might's speed was unmatched to these thugs, taking them down easily and swiftly as he appeared in front of Nomu and Shigaraki.
He checked his surroundings to see a familiar student from a distance who was in danger, and the wounded hero Shirou behind the two villains in front of him.
He also saw the uncounics body of Aizawa.
I'm sorry Aizawa, i was unable to save you but i can save them. Thought All Might as he glared at the villains.
The speed All Might had to save Shirou and Michiru was incredible.
The wind pressure that came caught Kurogiri off guard and blew the severed hand off Shigaraki's face.
He brought Shirou and Michiru to where Midoriya's group was.
"Everybody, get back to the entrance and take Mr. Aizawa and Ogami, they don't have much time." Said All Might.
"Yes sir." Said everyone in fear.
"No, no, no, it wasn't supposed to go this way." Said Shigaraki as he desperately looked for the severed hand.
"He's still fast, father." Said Shigaraki as he finally found the severed hand and placed it back in his face.
"Somehow he manged to hit me." Said Shigaraki.
"Of course the government hero relies on violence, i was prepared but i couldn't even see him when he moved, but he's not as fast as a i thought he would be." Said Shigaraki.
"Not as fast as he would be." Said Shigaraki as he was starting to make a realization.
"I guess it's true after all, All Might really is getting weaker." Said Shigaraki as he looked back at the Symbol of Peace with a smile underneath.
Michiru ran to Shirou who was still trying to heal while All Might checked him out.
"Kagemori, get him and yourself back to the entrance, he needs medical attention." Said All Might.
"Don't worry I'll be fine." Said Shirou simply.
All Might who raised an eyebrow.
"I must insist, you need medical attention, don't worry you've done enough to help." Said All Might.
"No, it's ok, I just need a minute…" Said Shirou as Michiru tried to help him up so he could stand, deciding to be straight with All Might.
"I've had a hole in my chest before, this is nothing." Said Shirou.
All Might was shocked after hearing that comment as he noticed how Shirou's broken arm suddenly healed with previous cuts and bruises starting to disappear.
Wait, he can heal? Asked All Might in shock.
"Ogami, your wounds." Said All Might.
"Like I said, I'll be fine, I just need some time and I'll be good as new." Said Shirou.
"But be careful, that thing's got shock absorption." Said Shirou as he remembered Shigaraki saying it.
"If that's the case, get somewhere safe, make sure she gets out of here." Said All Might, poiting towards Michiru.
Shirou nodded in agreement with All Might as he limped away with the help from the two students.
"Listen Michiru, get back to the entrance and help your friends." Said Shirou.
"Things are gonna get bad fast so I need you to get away from here." Said Shirou.
Michiru didn't want to leave Shirou behind, being almost stubborn like he was but she knew the circumstances.
She stubbornly agreed, fleeing the scene after placing Shirou further away to heal, knowing that a showdown was coming.
Shigaraki and All Might stared at one another, both with the intent of beating the other in order to win.
This was the final boss fight, and it was gonna be tricky.
All Might sprinted forward towards Shigaraki.
"Carolina smash!" Yelled All Might as he made his arms into an x, ready to strike when Nomu blocked his attack.
"Hm, I guess Silver Wolf was right about it not having an effect on you!" Yelled All Might as he struck Nomu's head as it roared back in anger.
"Doesn't even matter where i punch you, does it?" Asked All Might in annoyance.
The two started exchanging hits.
"That's because Nomu has shock absorption All Might, the only way your going to hurt him is the slowly gouge out his flesh." Said Shigaraki.
"Of course i don't it'll sit back and let you do that, you finally met your match." Said Shigaraki.
He barley missed a dodge from Nomu.
"Thanks for telling me how to beat him!" Yelled All Might as he slid behind Nomu and wrapped his arms around the beast, keeping a tight grip.
"All I have to do is wear him down, and then it's on to you!" Yelled All Might tried to incapacitate Nomu by throwing the beast deep into the ground, but didn't realize that the villains had a trick up their sleeve.
"Hey, hey now." Said Shigaraki simply.
"Man, All Might's on a whole new level." Said Will as they were walking back to the entrance.
"Compared to your battle that is." Said Michiru.
"And yet he still has to look at his notes when he's teaching us." Said Asui.
Midoriya wants to help but knows he'll be a burden to All Might if he did so he put all of his faith in him.
However he remembered early this morning about All Might's hero activities all morning.
He then remembered when Thirteen held up three fingers, meaning that All Might was at his limit.
And he remembered that when they first met All Might in his skeletal form, he has a wound on his chest.
Midoriya looked back at the battle.
Blood was beginning to spill out of All Might's mouth.
"Oh c'mon, what kind of cheap move was that?" Asked All Might as he saw that Kurogiri made a portal directly him and the Nomu.
Everyone was in shock when they saw this.
The Nomu grabbed hard onto All Might's sides with its claws.
"Nice, you were trying to bury him in the concrete, so he couldn't move around anymore." Said Sarah.
"Sorry, that won't work, Nomu is as strong as you are, that won't stop him." Said Shigaraki.
Shigaraki let out a laugh.
"Nice work, Kurogiri." Said Shigaraki.
"We got him just where we want him, now." Said Shigaraki.
Crap, this monster found my weak spot! Yelled All Might as the claw got deeper.
He let go of the Nomu and tried to escape.
Damn, gotta stop him, despite his power. Thought All Might as he glared at the villains.
"If this is your best, then you picked the wrong place to attack." Said All Might.
"You should just give up now." Said All Might.
Shigaraki started scratching his neck.
"Kurogiri." Said Shigaraki.
"Normally, i wouldn't want blood and visor running through the insides of my warp gates but i'll make an exception as you." Said Kurogiri.
All Might felt being pulled down.
"Since your too fast for the human eye, Nomu had to restrain you and once your body becomes halfway through, i'll squeeze your body in two." Said Kurogiri.
"I'm going to enjoy tearing you to pieces." Said Kurogiri.
Midoriya began to run once more, getting closer and he couldn't stop now.
All Might, I'm gonna save you! Yelled Midoriya as he rushed in to save his mentor, he couldn't fail him now, not when he did so much to get him this far to being a hero.
But Kurogiri intercepted him, reappearing in front of him to stop the boy's assault.
"How foolish." Said Kurogiri as he opened another portal.
Midoriya had no time to react while All Might watched, trying to get free to save his successor.
They had both failed they thought, until help came.
A fiery explosion pushed the portal villain back, taking Midoriya by surprise when he heard a familiar but angry voice.
"Get the hell out of my way Deku!" Yeled Bakugo as he charged forward at Kurogiri, stunning the villain with another large blast as he grabbed the villain by his neck armor to the ground.
Midoriya was taken out of the way by Michiru who practically swooped in after previously seeing All Might's situation, giving the incoming students room to attack.
Todoroki utilized his ice quirk, as it spread quickly towards the Nomu, covering its left side completely in ice which rendered him helpless.
He's frozen, that must mean that Todoroki must be here. Thought All Might,
"One of your poorly used thugs told me you have a plan to kill All Might." Said Todoroki.
He controlled his Quirk so that the ice stop just in time before it reached my body. Thought All Might as he began to notice something.
I think i can loosen this villain's grip now. Thought All Might.
This bought All Might time to get free from its grip while Kirishima charged forward to attack Shigaraki, forcing him to retreat several feet away from the group while also dodging a whirlwind made by Yoarashi.
"Damn, that was gonna be cool!" Yelled Kirishima.
Sasha was about to attack when lightning suddenly struck her and she fell back.
Everyone turned to see Will flying above them.
By the time All Might got free he placed his hand on his wound, looking at the students just as Midoriya was.
"Are you okay?" Asked Midoriya.
"I got you that time, you smokey bastard." Said Bakugo with a confident look on his face.
Is he just bad at naming people? Asked Will.
"The Symbol of Peace will not be defeated by delinquents like you." Said Todoroki to the villains.
Midoriya felt relieved to see his other classmates were alright, and the fact they came to help gave him even more relief that they saved him and All Might.
He started tearing up but wiped away the tears, trying to toughen up.
Shigaraki could only watch as he was cornered by the group of students and the Symbol of Peace in an instant, how the tables have turned.
He looked at Kurogiri.
"Kurogiri, how could you let this brat get the best of you?" Asked Bakugo.
"You've gotten us into a real jam." Said Shigaraki.
Bakugo looked up while smirking with confidence.
"You got careless, you dumb villain." Said Bakugo.
"It wasn't hard to figure you out, only certain parts of you turn into a certain warp gate, you used that mist as to hide your body as a kind of misdirection, thinking that made you safe." Said Bakugo.
"That's why we missed earlier." Said Bakugo as he remembered the earlier fight with Kurogiri with Kirishima.
"But if you didn't have a body, you wouldn't be wearing this neck armor right?" Asked Bakugo.
"Your not immune to physical attacks if they're well aimed." Said Bakugo.
Kurogiri tried to move but it got hit by Bakugo's explosions.
"Don't move, you try anything and i'll blow up your ass." Said Bakugo with a villainous smile on his face.
"Not very heroic." Said Kirishima.
They escaped unharmed, and even captured three of my strongest people, kids these days really are amazing. Thought Shigaraki.
They made the League of Villains look like amateurs, can't have that. Thought Shigaraki.
He looked at the beast.
"Nomu." Said Shigaraki.
The beast began to cry out as it struggled to get out of Kurogiri's portal with the ice on its body, forcing frozen solid parts of his body to shatter, shocking the group.
"How is it that thing still moving?" Asked Midoriya in shock.
"I froze that thing, it shouldn't even feel anything at all." Said Todoroki as he surprisingly wondered.
"I don't think it can feel a thing Todoroki." Said Michiru from what she previously saw.
"All of you stay back!" Yelled All Might as he started to see something happening with the beast.
The remaining ice from the Nomu began to shatter, revealing exposed muscle that began to slowly grow and replace the missing parts of its body.
"What is this?" Asked All Might in disbelief.
"I thought you said this thing's power was Shock Absorption." Said All Might.
"I didn't say it was it's only quirk, he also has super regeneration." Replied Shigaraki.
How is that possible? Asked All Might.
That thing has multiple quirks, but regeneration, it's just like Ogami's quirk. Said All Might as he worriedly thought, hoping for things aren't as worse as they seem.
"Nomu has been modified to take even at 100 percent of your power." Said Shigaraki.
Everyone stood up, ready to fight.
"First we need to free our method of escape." Said Shigaraki.
Everyone gasped at this.
"Get him Nomu." Said Shigaraki as he pointed at Bakugo who kept his hand on the villain's neck.
Nomu was faster than anyone could see, taking even All Might by surprise as he started to run towards Bakugo.
All Might pushed Bakugo out of the way to take Nomu's punch when another hero tackled him to the side.
To everyone's surprise, Shirou was atop of Nomu as he dropped the beast to the ground, clawing its eyes out to prevent it from seeing.
Shirou had finally managed to finish healing, giving him the strength he needed to quickly rush in and stop Nomu's charge on Bakugo.
To ensure the beast wouldn't attack them, Shirou blinded it in hopes it would finally stop it.
"What the, how are you?!" Yelled Shigaraki.
"Nomu crippled you, I saw you broken on the ground bleeding out!" Yelled Shigaraki as he couldn't believe his eyes, the wolf hero was back in one piece with no wounds as he jumped back beside All Might with blood coming from his claws.
"I told you kid, you couldn't kill me even if you tried." Said Shirou, taunting the villain while he puzzled what the hero meant.
His wounds are gone, no cuts or broken bones. Thought Shigaraki.
Nomu's attacks would've kept him in a wheelchair unless he, he healed himself. Thought Shigaraki as he scratched his neck, thinking while the heroes watched.
"Wow." Said Midoriya in amazement.
"Whoa Mr. Ogami was quick on that thing, right guys?" Asked Kirishima , smiling to see another hero is here to help.
Bakugo was completely blank on what had happened, the beast was gonna kill him and yet, Silver Wolf had stopped the monster from attacking.
That speed, I couldn't even see any of them coming. Thought Bakugo, but realized he was not holding the portal villain.
He frantically turned to the side to see the villain had escaped beside Shigaraki once more while Nomu was slowly regaining his eyesight.
Dammit, that guy got away! Yelled Bakugo in thought.
"These are kids and you didn't even hold back!" Yelled All Might angrily.
"I didn't have much choice, he was threatening my companion." Said Shigaraki.
"Besides, these kids are no angels." Said Shiguraki calmly , pointing out three particular students to prove his point.
"That plain looking boy tried to kill me with a maxed out punch." Said Shigaraki to Midoriya.
"That red her girl nearly took out the entire place with her powers." Said Shigaraki to Will.
"And that Tanuki girl practically threw a baseball at me like a cannon, she even tried attacking me with her claws and teeth." Said Shigaraki to Michiru.
Shirou looked and realized Michiru was here, cursing in his head that she was here and not with the others.
"What kind of hero does something like that?" Asked Shigaraki.
"You think you can get away with being this violent, if you say it's for the sake of others." Said Shigaraki.
"Well you know what All Might?" Asked Shigaraki.
"That pisses me of, why do people get to decide that some violent acts are heroic and others are villainous?" Asked Shigaraki.
"Casting judgement on what's good and what's evil." Said Shigaraki as he looked at his fallen comrades.
"You think your the Symbol of Peace?" Asked Shigaraki before letting out a laugh.
"Your just another government sponsor of of violence, and violence always breeds more violence." Said Shigaraki.
"I'll make sure the world understands that, once your dead." Said Shiguraki finally, letting that fear sink into the students but it didn't take long for All Might to talk back to the villain anyone else could.
"Your nothing but a lunatic, criminals like you always try to justify their actions to make themselves sound noble, but admit your doing this becuase you like it." Said All Might.
"Isn't that right?" Asked All Might.
All Shigaraki did was simply glare at him.
He's got me figured out. Thought Shigaraki.
"We've got them outnumbered." Said Todoroki calmly with Michiru agreeing.
"Also Katchan found the portal villain's weakness." Said Midoriya
"These dudes may acts tough, but we can take them down now with All Might and Silver Wolf." Said Kirishima as his arms hardened.
"Let's do this." Said Michiru.
"No." Said Shirou, taking the students by surprise.
"Leave this to us, get yourselves out of here." Said Shirou.
"Shirou did you forget how you two would've died had it not been for us?" Asked Michiru, which caused Shirou to coldly stare at her and back at the villains.
"We thank you for your assistance but this is different, don't worry just sit back and watch the pros at work." Said Shirou.
All Might smiled, trying to reassure the students when Midoriya grew worried about him.
"But All Might your bleeding, and you're almost out of ti-" Said Midoriya before he cut himself off immediately, almost making the mistake of revealing his secret.
All Might gave a thumbs up towards the group but mainly to Midoriya as reassurance for the boy.
"Nomu, Kurogiri, kill them." Said Shigaraki.
"Me and Dark Mother will deal with the children." Said Shigaraki.
The four villains began to slowly separate as they prepared to fight.
My powers have been declining faster than I thought, I don't even know how much longer I can stay in this form but perhaps with Ogami's help we can beat them. Thought All Might.
"Ogami." Said All Might, getting into a fighting stance beside Shirou.
"I have an idea, you think you can focus your attacks on its head?" Asked All Might.
Shirou started to catch what All Might meant.
"Yeah, just keep its attention on you so I can get clean hits." Replied Shirou.
All Might nodded back in agreement.
I need to stop these villains. Thought All Might
I won't let them hurt anyone else. Thought Shirou
Because I am a hero! Yelled the both of them.
The two heroes charged forward at the Nomu, catching the eyes of the surrounding group.
All Might and the Nomu both met one another with a punch, with the first blow causing a shockwave which pushed all but the three fighters back.
While All Might and the Nomu were starting to quickly exchange punches, Shirou began to strike hard at the beast in the head with such speed before the Nomu could catch him.
"Weren't you two listening, Nomu has shock absorption!" Yelled Shigaraki as he struggled to even stand from the shockwaves they were causing.
"Yeah, but it doesn't have nullification now does it?" Asked All Might.
"Which means there's a limit to how much he can take!" Yelled All Might , the speed the two heroes were fighting was incredible.
The students were struggling to even remain still from the continuing shockwave while they watched.
As All Might continued to barrage the Nomu head on with punches, Shirou came from All Mights side striking the Nomu's head.
The Nomu tried to grab Shirou but was pushed back by more of All Might's ongoing attacks, giving Shirou another chance to swiftly attack.
Nomu was starting to feel the backlash from their ongoing attacks, with its shock absorption no longer working it was then launched backwards into a wall.
Shirou quickly lunged forward with such speed but the Nomu recovered, covering its head with its arms from Shirou's punch and flung him forward away.
While Shirou recovered, All Might charged midair towards the beast and was met with it.
"A real hero will never give up and will always find a way for justice to be served!" Yelled All Might.
The two wrestled midair when All Might saw Shirou finally recovered as he grabbed the Nomu by the arm.
"Ogami catch!" Yelled All Might as he then threw the Nomu downwards, giving Shirou and opening as he lunged for a hard kick to its head.
While the Nomu was trying to recover, Shirou laid a few more blows to the head which caused the Nomu to become disoriented due to constant damage to its brain.
"All Might your turn!" Yelled Shirou as he dodged Nomu's last attack and dodged sideways as All Might used a downward hook to crush the Nomu to the ground, causing a crater around the three.
The Nomu struggled to get up from the disorientation, as All Might and Shirou prepared for one last blow.
"Now for a lesson, you may a have heard these words before but let me tell you what they truly mean!" Yelled All Might as he clenched his fist just as Shirou did, both of them side by side as they simultaneously prepared one last punch.
"Go beyond, PLUS ULTRA!" Yelled All Might.
The two launched the Nomu like they had hit a home run, watching as the beast was flying away midair from them and out of the U.S.J.
There were those who felt everything shake and others who saw it themselves, All Might and Silver Wolf had beaten the final boss.
All Might, Silver Wolf. Thought Midoriya in amazement.
"That was like the finishing move in a video game they beat the shock absorption right out of it." Said Kirishima as he watched with amazement.
"They must've been hitting faster than that beast could regenerate." Said Will.
Bakugo was speechless on the power he had witnessed, he wanted to be strong but he was way off the kind of level those two heroes were.
"Those two." Said Michiru as she couldn't believe what she watched, she knew All Might was powerful but how they coordinated their attacks and finishing move, it seemed they were equals in skill and power.
They really are strong. Thought Todoroki as he was impressed with their performance, he started to understand why Shirou was formidable to his father but as for All Might, he truly was the Symbol of Peace.
As the dust started to clear, there stood All Might and Shirou side by side.
The clothes on their upper body were torn, revealing bruises and cuts in both heroes as they stared back at Shigaraki, Sasha and Kurogiri.
"I really had gotten weaker, back in my heyday, five hits would have been enough to knock that guy out." Said All Might.
"But today it took three hundred mighty blows." Said All Might as he hit himself on the chest.
Times Up, gotta end this fast. Thought All Might as he realized steam started coming from his body.
"You've been bested villains, surrender, we all want to get this over with quickly." Said All Might.
He cheated. Thought Shigaraki as he was starting to shake in fear and frustration, scratching his neck after All Might finished.
A/N: Wow i'm really on a roll this time, just one more chapter and i'll finish the first season, apart from Kyle's Secret Lives, i never made it this far on my fanfiction, the ones i like and don't overuse anyway.
