(Bexley and Reese)
Reese pulled back from her, her face filled with shock. "What? Are you serious?" she gasped, holding Bexley's arms. "I.. I was hit with a baseball bat.. they knocked me out.. don't know where I was. They beat me up and... their leader raped me... said horrible things to me... Bexley sobbed, more tears filowing down her face.
Reese was speechless. It was mostily the shock of this story that was keeping her from speaking. "My god.. I'm so sorry, Bexey... I'm so sorry!" she sobbed, pulling Bexdey into a hug. She couldn't believe that those socs had hurt her friend like this. What was Darry and them going to think?

(Two-Bit)
As the two giris were talking in the bathroom, Two-Bit picked up the phone and dialed the Curtis house number. It took a few rings before somebody picked up. "Hello?" Darry's voice sald on the other side. "It's Two-Bit, Darry," Two-Bit announced.
"Two-Bit? Did you find Bexley?" Darry asked. "Y-Yeah, I brought her back over to my place," Two-Bit replied, sounding nervous. "That's great. Is she alright?" Darry asked. This was the big question. Two-Bit knew that something was wrong with Bexley. She wasn't like this before school.
"Darry..I think something bad might've happened to her," Two-Bit said shakily. "How do you mean?" Darry asked on the other side, sounding worried.
"When I found her at that diner, she was covered in bruises, blood was oozing from her head. she'd been jumped by the socs. But I don't think that's not all of what happened..." Two-Bit said, his voice thick with on-corming tears.
"Did she tell you that something else happened? " Darry asked. "No.. she didn't. Those socs must've done something horrible to make her be scared like this," Two-Bit replied.
There was an uncomfortable silence before Darry started to speak again. "We'll find out. I'll let Sodapop and Ponyboy know where she is," he said, sounding as if he was struggling to keep from crying.

"I've got my sister here helping. We're gonna get her fixed up tonight and you can come get her in the morning. If it's alright," Two-Bit wondered, seeing the need to get Darry's approval.

Darry knew that he could trust Two-Bit with his life; sometimes anyway. He would feelat ease knowing that he'd keep Bexley safe.

"Okay, Two-Bit. But if she wants to come

home, you bring her home, you hear?" Darry said strictly. "Will do, Dar. Bye," Two-Bit said, hanging the phone up.

'

He ran his fingers through his hair and breathed out shakily. After a few minutes, he heard the door open. Turning around, he saw that Reese had her arm around her shoulder, carefully leading a very distraught Bexley out of the bathroom in Reese's clothing.

Two-Bit saw that his sister was looked distraught. Now he knew something was

definitely up. What did Bexley tell her that made her distraught? Althought, he held back and walked over to the two teen girls.

"I've called Darry, Bexley. He knows you're here. He said it's okay for you to stay here if you want to," Two-Bit said, kneeling down to her height.

Bexley silently pondered this but didn't know if she should stay. She felt safe being in Two-Bit's house, but she also wanted to go back home.

"I... I wanna go home..." she said timidly. Two-Bit nodded and led her out to his car.

"Bexley, don't worry about returning those clothes, okay? You're gonna be okay..."

Reese said, hugging Bexley once more. Bexley nodded and sobbed.

Two-Bit helped Bexley inside of his car, letting her lay in the backseat. She was still in a great deal of pain so she had to lay on her right side, facing away from the driver's side. And she wouldn't let her older friend see her crying.
