Why did Lijda have to go to go, to sleepaway camp and leave me?
It was two weeks after Lijda had went to summer camp, which Howard had thought a good idea since Limda was enjoying Scouts and figured it was time for her to try Summer camp knowing Shocket might get upset because being soulmates with Linda, she couldn't bear being apart for a couple of weeks, even if Howard and her dad were trying to distract her,, it was not the same without Lijda makijg up her mind, packijg her backpack.
"Come on Quacker, let's go rescue Linda from camp." she told her stuffed duck, leaving the apartment, getting on the bus that would take her to where Lindas's camp was, unaware of how worried her dad and Lylla would be,malojg with Howard.
"Wait, Shocket ran away, are you sure, Howard, where would she even go, oh crutack, I think I know, Lijda's camp!" Rocket said.
Howard was in Rocket's apartment after wakijg up and not finding Shocket there, makijg Rocket realise Shocket had major separation anxiety like Casey knowing she was at the same summer-camp, but had sent him and Lylla dozens of letters and they replied leaving to go get Shocket back, seeing her in a bush, excitedly growling which surprised him, seeing her fur and mohawk was dishevelled.
"Shocket, you have to come back, you really worried us, especially me." Rocket told her, she was not listening.
She then tackle-hugged Lijda, surprising the female duckijg, unaware she had left home, seeijg her uncle there, tellijg her how Shocket had gotten here, stunnijg her, agreeing with Rocket reassuring her, they'd be together again in a few weeks seeing her quietly follow her dad without a fight, which worried him but they could talk about it, when they got home, noticing Shocket was quiet.
Howard and Lylla were relieved, seeing the female kit home, guessing her dad had talked to her, that running away was very serious, seeijg her go take a bath, listening to her dad telling Howard and her mom why she had run off, because she missed Linda makijg them understand letting Rocket handle this, makijg him sigh.
"Hey there, you doijg okay?" he said to Shocket after her bath, seeing she was hugging Quacker the way she would hug Lijda which was cute explainijg that separation anxiety was normal, but those you love always came back, makijg Shocket quiet, especially she could send Lijda mail, when she was at camp, knowing Casey did that, despite Shocket pointihg out Casey was sweet as a cinnamon roll in natire.
