"Awww, Linda looks adorable as an Native-American, you know?" Shocket whispered.
"I know, plus I bet uncle Ranger and Aunt Riley will be there, by the time we get back, Thanksgiving is about family and what we're thankful for, I think I know what you're thankful for, the pageant is over, hang in there." Rocket replied to her, seeing Lylla agreeing with him.
It was November and Thanksgiving was coming up, so at Casey and Linda's school their class was part of the Thanksgiving pageant or the finale of it, making Lylla and Rocket being proud and supportive parents, along with recording it for Howard, knowing he would find it adorable, like them, knowing Shocket was getting fidgety, doijg a good job of sitting still knowing she was nervous about her and Linda's first Thanksgiving, but her dad had read a storybook to her the other day, when it been just the two of them, knowing she would love Ranger and Riley once she got to know them seeing the pageant was obet, relieved.
"Lijda, you were awesome, Casey too, I guess." Shocket said .
"Thanks Shockie, relax you'll love our aunt and uncle." Casey reassured her.
"It's goijg to be alright, my cute potato." Linda said kissing Shocket's furry cheek, relaxing her, as they were goijg home seeing Ranger and Riley there, trying to get in, making Shocket impressed, her aunt had a mohawk like her!
"I got this!" Shocket said, using her baby-claws to open her dad and Lylla's apartment door, impressing Ranger and Riley as they entered askijg Rocket, if that was Shocket seeing him nod in reply, explaining about her to his brother and sister, seeing she was shy understanding hugging Casey hearing her giggling, seeijg Shocket peeking out from under the couch, which she made her fort which Riley understood.
"It's alright sweetie, you can trust me and Ranger, I see you noticed my mohawk?" she said softly to her.
Shocket then crawled out from under the couch, on her furry belly, which she found adorable, cuddling her as she sat on the floor with her, letting the female kit take in her scent, as that was how their species used to track guessing her brother was not letting her embrace her inner raccoon, along with Casey, so she and Ranger could help with this.
"We'll get to know each other over the next few days." Ranger said to her.
Linda smirked watching her cute potato bonding with her aunt and uncle, knowing that her grandparents were unsure of her, so knew Shocket would want to stay here, which Howard got, seeing Shocket had her backpack, which had things like her stuffed duck, Quacker surprising Casey, understanding after Shocket told her.
"Thanksgiving is gonna be awesome, you know?" she told
"You got your friend to make the apartment bigger, that's awesome!" Shocket said.
It was a little while later and Lylla and Rocket had went to get supplies, leaving Ranger and Riley to watch Casey and Shocket and Crystal, Casey's best friend had embiggened the apartment, impressing everybody, keeping this a secret from Lylla and Rocket but also their landlord, meaning Shocket could have her own room, along with Ranger and Riley, hearimg Riley chuckle at het niece's train of thought, seeing Casey agree, decorating a football, so it looked like a turkey, hearing Shocket laugh hysterically at this, hearing this was a Thanksgiving tradition, to play football, and they had an annual game at the park impressing yet worrying her.
"You're safe with football, it won't trigger assasin mode." Casey reassured her.
"It might, I don't want to hurt you guys." Shocket said feeling Riley hug her, because Rocket had told them, about Shocket, so they were becomijg fond of her, stunning the female kit, knowing they were learning about each other, seeing Lylla and Rocket impressed by what had happened to the apartment, hoping that Ranger and Riley would stay, now they had room plus Shocket liked them seeing them agreeing making Shocket happy.
"We were practicing for the big game." Ranger said.
"Alright but we have to clean up, Thanksgiving is tomorrow." Rocket said.
Casey and Shocket were helping along with Ranger and Riley, so were done faster, seeing Riley excited feeling her phone buzz, as it was Zora seeing Rocket happy, but he and Lylla had date-night asking Ranger and Riley, about watching Casey and Shocket seeing them nodding seeing Shocket preparing for something, her own date-night with Linda making Riley impressed, guessing they were goijg out seeing Shocket shake her head, saying they were doijg it here, realising something, Riley hadn't given Zora bling stunning Riley.
"She and Linda have promise-rings because they wanted to get married now, but dad said they're not old enough, that's what she means by you giving Zora bling." Casey explained making Riley's furry cheeks go pink at Shocket's idea.
"Zora and I are friends, but your idea is very sweet." she told Shocket.
