"Mmmm, why do I smell chocolate, is Mama Scruff baking." Shocket asked herself.
"Yep, she's making treats for your sister's birthday, like cupcakes but I have to get the cake from the bakery, aren't you excited about the party, you can go nuts on cake and soda." Rocket heard Ranger tell her friwning.
He knew birthday was a touchy word in Shocket's mind, because of Tivon plus he never told Shocket the date of her being brought into the universe, plus it never said it on her galatic birth-records which the Novacore had, sighing.
Casey's birthday was indeed coming up making the female-kit excited especially her first party and had made invitations, so was handing them out at school but Linda had noticed Shocket's silence on the matter, knowing she had made her birthday special, makijg Rocket understand after Howard explained about this.
"Sorry if I upset Mini-Scruff, I didn't know birthdays upset her." Ranger told him.
"Hmmmm I think I know why, because she's never had one, and thinks she can't have one because of Tivon, he was very mean to the both of us, Shocket moreso." Linda told them seeing Rock-E there seeing Rocket hug him, confusing Linda.
"Brothers don't just paw-bump, they hug." Rock-E told her hearing Rocket chuckle.
"Wait, doescShocket have a twin-sister with a black mohawk." Rock-E asked.
"Woah, you can see Nega-Shockie too like me and Linda." Rocket asked.
"Yes I'm a tenuki who happens to have magic, how do you think I help you see the magically unseen like her." Rock-E told him seeing Shocket there, with her paws on her hips like Lylla.
"Ooh Nega-Shockie'sin trouble now, what was she trying to do." Linda wondered.
"She was trying to ruin what you guys planned for Casey's party, I might not be so keen on this but it's important to Casey, so I couldn't let Nega-me ruin it for Casey." she explained after scaring Nega-Shocket back into her mind where she belonged taking deep breaths feeling Linda hug her.
"She's getting badder, like wanting to ruin Casey's party, I need to tame her you know, Ducky." she said through sniffles hearing sniffles in her mind's earknowing it was Nega-Shockie guessing she felt bad for what she had tried to do.
"We'll work on it, but that was amazing you copied Mama Scruff, when she gets mad." Rocket told her as she was on his armoured lap and Rock-E was playing a gentle melody on his guitar, Stringey hissing a little, so Rocket was getting band-aids.
"Your uncle has soft paws so playing guitar too much, the strings dig into his fur and give him owies." Rocket explained making her and Linda understand.
"I should go soon, Piper will worry, along with PJ if I don't come back home." Rock-E told them activating a portal back to his dimension after putting his guitar back in it's case going through impressing both Linda and Shocket after it closed.
Casey wondered what had been happening while she'd been at school, hearing her dad telling her they'd been preparing for her party making her excited noticing Shocket quiet after an nap as Linda had went home to her dad and Darci's apartment, wondering why her mohawked sis was down on birthdays, hearing their dad sigh seeing Shocket rip up her invitation in front of Casey.
"I'll explain later honey, your sis has had one of those days." he said.
"Yeah leave me alone, Raccoon Girl." Shocket hissed.
Casey's furry cheeks went pink hearing Shocket call her the hero name she'd given herself guessing she'd heard Crystal call her it, when they played superheroes when the magenta-furred goblin girl came to play, hopingShocket would play nice and behave at her party, even if she didn't want to be invited confusing her hoping her dad would explain to her.
"Don't poke the Shockoon in this mood, things just get worse." Linda warned going after Shocket making Casey frown, she was Shocket's sister, yet Shocket trusted Lijda almost with her life and it made her annoyed, she wanted to be close with Shocket like Linda was, unaware her mood was making the apartment shake a little until Rocket ran in.
"Casey calm, whatever's bothering you, we can talk about it." he assured her.
"I just wanna be close with Shockie, like Ducky, it's not fair." she said through tears.
"You will, we'll help you out, but Shockie needs help." Rocket assured her as she calmed down.
"Nega-her, right." she asked making Rocket nod.
It was a few days later and Shocket and her negative-self were quiet as Rocket was giving Shocket meds to help with her anxiety only when she took them, it made Nega-Shocket hurt which surprised Rocket and made Shocket realise something, her negative self may be messy, loud and mischievous but she was a part of her and she wanted to make room for her, not push her away or get rid of her impressing her and Rocket especially naming her Demetra, seeing the black-mohawked kit hug her as Tivon never named her.
"I don't wanna hurt you, but I have to take this to help my anxiety, I just want you calm." Shocket told her.
"I can do that sis, sorry I've gotten you in trouble, made you cry and almost wrecked Casey's party." she told her making Shocket understanding.
Rocket knew that Demetra wanted her own life and body, getting a blaster which was a personality-splitter seeing Demetra standing beside Shocket, realising she had her own body jumping up and down excited, making Shocket happy relieved she was still her wonderful, mischievous, mini-Rocket self.
"Yes, I can eat cake for the first time at Casey's party, among other things, like having my own room." Demetra said excitedly makijg Shocket chuckle at this along with Rocket seeing Casey astounded, seeing another kit that looked like Shocket.
"This is my sis, Demetra, oh yeah she wants to go to your Birthday party." Shocket told her seeing Demetra excitedly scampering around, smelling everything, so she would get confortable with Shocket helping making Lylla grin.
"Mama Scruff hi, I'm Demetra your new kit." Demetra said making Shocket giggle.
