Precursor of the Climax

From Lili's Point of View…

Lili: "World, I am hurt. I am so hurt that I just want to lash out! That man called Feng Wei killed my Sebastian! He ran away from me and Asuka! Together we could have spotted him! But now he fled! He will soon pay for his evil deed! With my resolve made up I wanted to end this struggle with the Zaibatsu once and for all and find Feng Wei! As I left the Rebel medical tent, Asuka stopped me. I had to admit, I was hotheaded and rash. But I still wanted to put an end to this madness! So we went together. Then I was almost hit by a fancy car! It was a Porsche brand driven by Lee Chaolan of all people! He gave us a ride, but we ran into an ambush on the way to the Main Rebel camp. I was very disappointed in Lee for putting us in danger like that! So I just told him go on without me! Once again, Asuka followed me and she showed such great concern that I was moved by her tender words! As a tandem we destroyed a G Corp JACK unit while we reached the base. But then there was another monster that got in our way. I tried to help Asuka fight him. But I cannot remember anything else that happened. My head hurts so bad."

A Voice calls…

Voice: "Lili. Lili. Lili!"

Lili: "Hmmm…mmmm…" (Yawns.) "Huh?" (Looks at a familiar face.) "What?"

Sebastian: "Lili…you overslept again."

Lili: "Se…se…Sebastian?" (Looks around.) "Why! Am I back home? My teddies and my dolls! How did this happen?"

Sebastian: "Mademoiselle Lili…what is the matter with you?"

Lili: "Sebastian! Are you really here? Tell me!"

Sebastian: "Lili are you alright?" (Voice changes.)

Lili: "Sebastian?"

Lili gets shaken by Alisa Bosconovitch…

Alisa: "Wow! You managed to regain consciousness despite having a concussion while losing 18% of your blood count level."

Lili: "Wha…are you Alisa?"

Alisa: "Yes. You were having a dream while I was carrying you back to the Main Camp. It was too dangerous for you to just lie there motionless. My scanner detected your life force while I was looking for Kazumi Mishima and helping my friends. So, I quickly picked you up from the main courtyard and sent you back to the Rebel Main camp. I would like to stay with you, but I must return for my friends."

Lili: "I see, but where is Asuka?"

Alisa: "I saw her fight than man whoever he was, but once she saw me, she just said to take you away from the HQ. I can try to find her for you right now if you want."

Lili: "Yes! I just need to know if she is alright."

Alisa: "Just a moment." (Alisa taps her head with her finger to perform a ki radar scan.) "I found her! She still at the HQ! But it looks like she is confronting Kazumi, Kazuya, and a few others as well."

Lili: "You need to go back and save her!"

Alisa: "I will do my best Lili! You should stay here and rest. The nurses here will look after you."

Lili: "Alright. Do be careful mon amie!"

Alisa nods and then exits the tent, blasting away into the sky with her rocket boosters…

After Alisa departed, everything was quiet again. Lili didn't even have a smartphone to play with since it was left behind in the vehicle Sebastian used to reach Tokyo. There was no need to try and find it. Lili could always get another one just like it. Assuming Kazumi Mishima and the Zaibatsu would not become victorious in their plot to nuke the world. She decided to call one of the nurses nearby to make a request for internet access using the handled speaker device set near her stretcher bed.

Lili: "I need someone here please!"

A few minutes later…

Male Rebel Nurse: "Yes Lili. What is the matter?"

Lili: "Oh, nothing in particular. I just need something to preoccupy my time. Is there a free laptop you guys might have?"

Nurse: "A free laptop? Uhhh…most of our IT guys are using it to relay messages to our soldiers and news outlets. Why do you need one?"

Lili: "Because I'm sure my family is worried sick about me! I just lost a dear friend of mine too! I must let them know everything! Please! Do it for me!" (Sobbing with hands on her face.)

Nurse: "Ok! Ok! Don't cry! I think there might be a few laptops that are still working at the IT tent. Just hang on."

Lili (Waits for him to leave and then stops the tears.) "Well that worked well, but still. I am sad for my old friend. If only I was stronger, I could have stopped Feng Wei and that other man." (Sighs.) "Now I really feel ashamed." (Pouts.)

Several minutes later…

Nurse: "Lili Rochefort?"

Lili: "Yes!"

Nurse: "We have this laptop that still works, it was used by a fellow soldier before he passed away days ago. The storage has been wiped clean so it's free to use here."

Lili: "Yes! Thank you! I could kiss you!"

Nurse (Chuckles.): "That's ok." (Plugs in the charger using a surge protector) "That should do it. Anything else?"

Lili: "No I think for right now I am fine. Thank you!"

Nurse: "Of course."

Once the nurse left, then Lili went online using the password codes the nurse wrote down in a sheet of paper for her. Then, Lili was able to open the web browser and logged into her website. She decided to do a webcam telling everyone that she was alive and recovering from her battle.

Lili: "Bonjour my fans! I am so sorry for not updating you guys about my status!" (Sighs.) "I must be more punctual in my updates! Anyway, I have a nasty injury over my forehead. So you can't see my pretty hair! But everything else is fine. I am with the Rebel Force resting in their tent. See!" (Flips the laptop around for the viewers to look and then reverse it back to her face.) "I can't see anything outside. The sun is coming down too. So I need your help guys! I want to see what is happening outside. I know some news agencies are showing the events of the Zaibatsu raid. Does anyone have a good link that I can open up? That way we can watch what unfolds together!"

ProudPervert: "I can't believe it! Lili has returned to us!"

KneeJerkReactions: "Hi Lili! Welcome back!"

Lili4Prez: "My empress is alive! But what happened to you? Tell us!"

Lili: "Oh I see some of my loyal fans are back. I got hit in the head and I don't know what happened to me. I just remember being with Asuka and I fought a man, but then after that. I draw a blank. I'm very sorry!"

IgnoreMyText: "There is a YouTube channel called…Xtra Feeds. They are covering the events live by chopper!"

Lili: "Oh really? Send me the link please!"

OblongJohnson: "Violet Systems is covering things on the ground too about the assault. I will send a link from their site."

Lili: "Wonderful! Whatever comes first!"

EndlessRain: "Something is happening at the top of the Zaibatsu Central Tower's Helipad!"

Lili: "Really? What's going on?"

MustyThongs: "OMG!"

Wowzer9000: "There is a portal!"

Lili: "A portal? Impossible!" (Sees the link from Xtra Feeds.) "Okay guys I have the link! I'm going to open it now."

Lili opens the link for Xtra Feeds…

Lili: "Here we go!" (Looks at the screen in shock) "What in the world? This…this can't be! How is there a portal like that? Where is it going?"

IWantTheWarToBeOver: "It was opened by Kazumi! It was her!"

Lili: "I see Asuka! Oh my goodness! Asuka what is that form you have! And there is Kazuya along with a few others! And the Williams sisters? Just what is happening?" (Sees someone else fly into the pavement of the helipad) "Hang on! Is that Jin Kazama! He looks so…different!"

AlphaBetaBucks: "That is his Devil Form! He must be there to fight Kazumi!"

Lili: "Are they going to fight? Let's watch."

As Lili and the rest of her fans watched on, the two devils did clash. But Devil Jin tackled Kazumi Mishima inside the portal she was in. Before the portal could close off, Asuka in her Angel Form, and Ling Xiaoyu followed right behind the devils. Then the portal disappeared. Everyone was in a state of shock. Lili was speechless! Did her best friend just disappear for good? Where did they go in the portal anyway?
