I have to find land and find someone who can help me. I have to do it fast though because I don't know what is going on anyway.
I want to do that if I want to get some help of course. Then something caught my eye, I turned around and I saw a dock. That could mean that there is land at sight.
I happily paddled to the docks. I reached to the top part and I struggled to get up to the docks. I then felt a hand grabbed onto my own. I then gasped quietly. There was a boy younger than me! However I noticed he's not alone.
I then sprung into action to defend myself. The boy said, "Whoa, whoa girl easy." I didn't listen to him though. I was warned by my mother because she warned me about strangers. I got into battle action. I then got into battle mood and said, "No street urchins, get away from me!" The boy tried to explain, "Wait, I am not a…" He didn't finish because I yelled out, "Get away!"
The boy then said to me, "I mean you no harm." I stopped and got confused all of a sudden. I didn't know what he is talking about. I asked him a few questions to be safe. He then told me what is going on. He then asked me, "Are you going to tell me your name before you would ask about mine?" I got surprised and stammered, "I-I'm June. Who are you? How did I get here in New York City?"
The boy then said, "Hey, wait. One question at a time June. I'm Louie and right now you're in the harbor." Oh so that's his name. He then had a good look at me. He then said, "You are totally different from the rest of the teens, I mean those eyes of yours." I then looked at him with a smirk and asked, "What about your eyes? They're like telling you that you're tough." He laughed.
He then said, "Wow you seem cool to me." Then he noticed the look on my face. I was confused and wanted to know how I can get home. He then said that he would help me and that got my eyes wide. I then said, "I don't trust you and I just met you." This confused him.
He then said that he'll do anything, but he has to do some things first and that confused me even more. I asked, "Some?" Then I got startled with my eyes wide when I saw three dinosaurs. Well two because there is a prehistoric flying material.
I had my eyes wide because one of them was talking. The other two were looking at me. I then said with wide eyes, "Talking dinosaurs with talking prehistoric flying material." The one that was talking was a triceratops. I didn't say a word because I was a bit scared and suspicious.
Then I saw a king of the dinos itself. A tyrannosaurus rex. It looks like as if it's not moving. I looked at Louie and asked him, "Is it going to be ok?" Louie looked at me and said, "Oh he'll be ok. He just need to recover a bit." I asked him, "The tyrannosaurus is a he? What happened?"
Louie then told me all that happened from the beginning. He told me how he met them when they sank him in the river and how the dinosaurs were going to the museum. He finished when he said that he rescued his friend from drowning and he concluded, "That's how it all happened."
I can't believe that he did a heroic thing. I then said to him, "That was the bravest thing you did." Louie smiled with a blush. Then we both saw the tyrannosaurs made a bubble and was about to wake up. I started to back up a bit.
I wanted to give it space. Then the tyrannosaurus looked at the bubble for sometime. I backed up some more. Then the bubble popped and it then looked at Louie. I didn't move a muscle and made a sound.
The tyrannosaurus then said to Louie that he owned him one while he got his claw out. Louie turned around and said, "These things happen." He then looked at the tyrannosaurus after it put it's claw on his shoulder. It just smiled at him.
Then the tyrannosaurus noticed me and I got my eyes wide. The tyrannosaurus then asked Louie, "Who's she?" I got my eyes wide and said, "Talking tyrannosaurus." The tyrannosaurus got confused.
Louie helped me out by introducing me to him. He then said, "June needs some help." I then said, "Yeah I stumbled into New York City from my own world and.." Louie then explained that I came to the river out of nowhere.
He then said that he would help me get home after all what we would do. I got my eyes wide and then I mumbled, "That, of course." He then said, "Just get me to the circus and we'll say no more about it." Then Rex bumped his head and Louie said, "But be careful will ya? I can't be saving you every two minutes."
I then asked him, "Um by any chance, you wouldn't happen to know a man who owns a time machine and would grant children's wishes of dinosaurs would you?" Louie looked at me in surprise. He answered, "Well I don't think so, but the dinosaurs might."
I looked at them and they nodded. I then said, "Well that does answer my question, sort of." We then made it to the streets and Louie and I looked. It looked crowded. We then looked at each other and sighed. New York is not ready for them.
Louie then said to the dinosaurs, "You know, New York isn't ready for you guys." I sighed. He has a very good point. I said, "Louie, we need to think of something here, like a strategy of some kind." Louie looked at me and said, "You're right June, we need one. In fact we need a plan." He saw a sign that has a word fly in it. He snapped his fingers and said, "I got it. Hey you, the bat." I looked at who he is pointing at.
He was pointing at the prehistoric flying material which is a pterodactyl. I learned the other dinosaur's names are Dweeb, Woog and Elsa. Elsa is the pterodactyl. She got mad and said, "I am not a bat, I'm a pterodactyl." I looked at Louie and said to him, "She's right Louie and she's a lot bigger than a regular bat. She's a prehistoric flying material. Who can mistake her for a bat?"
Louie blushed when he realized what I just said and said to me, "Sorry June." He then asked Elsa if she can fly. I looked at him with wide eyes and Elsa just smiled at him. Oh boy.
