"Well done witches, very well done."

The dark voice echoed through the stone room. Icy, Darcy and Stormy smiled.

"One down, only three to go." Icy said. "Tell us what our next target is and we'll get you the next piece of the Codex."

"Patience Icy, we need to tred carefully." Darkar said. "The fairies and specialists made a mistake by splitting up but I doubt they'll make such a mistake again."

"So what now, Alfea?" Stormy asked.

"No, my spy at Alfea is not ready yet and we still do not know where Pixy Village is, which leaves us…"

"Cloud Tower!" Icy said with a wicked smile.

"What are you doing here?" "And looking like that?"

Lady Diaspro was looking at Samara in her fairy form with a disgusted frown.

"Listen I like this situation just as much as you do." Samara hissed. "But right now, there are two guys outside of this tent and getting you out of here is much more easyer without them knowing that I am here."

Diaspro huffed. "Fine, how do I get out of here?" "You're not going to use those hideous wings are you?"

"Take this and put it in your mouth."

Samara held a flower in front of the girls face.

"Eeeuuuww are you trying to drug me?" She shrieked.

Samara rolled her eyes. "Just keep quiet and do as I say." "Royal orders!"

Diaspro now sputtered. There was nothing she could do to refuse an order from a member of the Royal family.

"Fine, but if I get poisoned I am blaming it all on you!"

She took the flower and put it in her mouth. With a soft plop Diaspro disappeared.

"What was that?"

One of the men came into the tent. "Who are you?"

"Hi there, my name is Samara, princess of Eraklion." Samara said with a smile.

Four others came into the tent as well.

"What, you're not the princess!" One of them said.

"Oh I can assure you that I am." Samara said. "And you are all in trouble!"

A blinding light filled the tent.

A couple of hours later, Sky and the three fairies were inside the Red Fountain craft making their way back to Alfea. Flora was admiring her flower, which looked exactly the same as the one Samara had used to switch places with Diaspro. Bloom and Sky were making plans for their next date and Samara was staring to the floor. Even though she had overcome her fear of heights, flying in an aircraft was still scary to her. She was lost in her thoughts, reliving the fact that her parents hadn't even looked at her as they congratulated the group after rescueing Diaspro. And then there was of course the knowledge that her powers were actually a curse. Should she talk to professor Avalon about that, perhaps he could provide some more answers…

Suddenly a high piched sound interrupted her thinking. Bloom picked up her phone. Stella could be heard yelling from the other side.

"Calm down Stella, what happened?" Bloom asked.

She put the phone on speaker.

"They stole it!"

"The Codex?" Flora asked. "But who stole it?"

"The Trix, the Trix are working for that shadow creep!"

Four gasps sounded.

"Are you all okay?" Samara asked.

"Yes, we're a bit beaten up but other than that we're fine." "But they've got the Codex of Red Fountain…there was nothing we could do…"

"It's alright Stella we're on our way to Alfea, see you soon." Bloom said.

Stella disconnected the call.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no, this is bad…" Flora said with a trembling voice.

"I hope they didn't destroy Red Fountain again." Sky growled as he punched the controls in anger.

"Calm down and get us down in one piece please." Samara hissed as the plane shook a little. "There is nothing we can do until we're back at our schools." "From there we can think of our next strategy."

"You're right, splitting up definitely wasn't a good idea." Bloom sighed.

A silence fell over them as Sky flew them towards Alfea. The other Winx and Faragonda were already waiting outside.

"Are you alright?" Flora asked as she hugged Musa, Tecna, Layla and Stella.

"Yeah just totally disappointed in ourselves…" Musa said.

"We tried our best, all of us." Layla said.

"Oh did we, all of us?" Tecna said hateful before walking away angry.

"Timmy gave the Trix the Codex…" Stella said. "But he honestly didn't really have another choice, they had us stuck."

"Any one of us had made the same choice." Layla said.

"What about Red Fountain?" Sky asked.

"Nobody got hurt and not a lot was damaged." Layla said.

"I better go back, they might need my help." Sky said.

He said goodbye to his sister and kissed Bloom before flying away.

"This is a grave setback girls, but let's not dwell in our mistakes too long and look forward to the next step." Faragonda said. "Have a good night's sleep and I will see you in class Monday afternoon." "We will discuss our next step later."

The girls all agreed and made their way to their dorm.

"So did you manage to save that girl on Eraklion?" Musa asked.

"Yeah wasn't that challenging." Samara said. "Complete waste of time if you ask me."

"At least Flora has her flower." Bloom said.

Flora smiled softly.

Suddenly a figure walked out of one of the side corridors.

"Ah girls!" Professor Avalon said surprised. "I did not expect any students up this late."

Bloom started to blush and explained to Avalon why they had just returned to Alfea.

"Ah yes I heard about what happened at Red Fountain…" Avalon said compassionate. "Make sure you head straight to bed."

Everyone nodded and walked on but Samara waited.

"Yes miss Samara?"

Samara, suddenly second guessing her initial plan, started to fumble with her shirt.

"I uh…wanted to ask you…about the book you lend me?"

"Yes?"

"There is a chapter that tells about some kind of curse on the Royal Family…and about an elf and the moon…"

"And you're afraid that curse might relate to you?"

"Yes!" Samara's eyes lit up by the professors understanding.

"Meet me in my office tomorrow afternoon and bring the book, I think I might help you with your worries." Avalon said.

"Really, oh that would be great professor!"

Avalon laughed. "Now go along, off to bed."

Samara nodded and quickly walked on. By the time she reached the dorm, most of the others were either taking a shower or already in their rooms.

"What took you so long?" Layla asked as she stepped into her own bed.

"I needed to ask Avalon about that history assignment for this Wednesday."

The fairy of the Moon walked towards her own bed and changed into her pajama's.

"I'm going to stay in bed all day tomorrow." Layla sighed. "Goodnight Samara."

"Goodnight."

Samara stepped into her bed with a small smile. Today might not have been a good day for the Winx Club but at least tomorrow she might find some answers to all her questions.
