Bendy sat in darkness. He knew he had to get out. But he was unconcerned. In a while, he knew Ayano would lose concentration to keep all the exits closed. He will escape. That's what horror characters do. They sit around and wait for an opportunity to come into their path. Once that opportunity has expired, they sit around once again. Bendy hadn't questioned this. That was the way of things. But then there was Ayano, who went out of her way to conduct all of this madness. For what?

Bendy was left simmering with his thoughts and soon grew impatient. It wouldn't be great if the internet was overrun by child-friendly content. And there was everyone else who were morally better than him who had no idea about this plot. He was the only one who could potentially put an end to this. He tried to mind his own business but that didn't work. It never worked. He had to get out.

Having made up his mind, Bendy stood up and closed his eyes. He concentrated and tried to find an opening just like he did when he was sparring with Splatasia. Since Ayano had control over the system of the ink machine, that meant her mind was linked to the system and he had some level of access to it. He just had to wrestle control away from her just for a split second and he'll find what he is looking for. To be honest, he expected that it may take a while to find an exit but he was surprised to find an opening in just a few minutes. But he was confused. Why hadn't Ayano made sure that all the exits out of the Dark Puddle were sealed. It was almost like she didn't care... Or that she felt she needed to... Had she grown complacent? No. She must have felt didn't have to bother to check the exits. That only meant one thing. She was closer to succeeding in whatever she was doing. Bendy had to hurry.

Reaching out, Bendy forced the exit wide open and he was in a familiar place. The fleshy tunnel almost looked like birth canal, with a yellowish light shining in the distance. Bendy crawled towards the exit, the ink blob that was his body started to take shape. Forming a torso, legs, arms and a head. Bendy reached out with a misshapen hand towards the exit and there was a bright flash.

...

Bendy gasped as he materialized into the world with a fleshy pop. He waved his hands in front of his face trying to summon a drop of ink. Nothing came.

Okay, physical body, check. Powers are gone. This isn't new but not ideal.

Bendy looked around the room. It had grey colored walls with glass pipes snaking around the edges like veins, flowing with some indistinct substance. Bendy looked closer and a grim realization took over him. They were orange colored arrows in some sort of gaseous state, flowing upwards. Soon Bendy spotted another pipe flowing downwards with the same gaseous substance, but instead, it was blue.

This brought about two revelations. One, Bendy was at the heart of the location of Ayano's machinations. Second, whatever she was planning was going to impact the entire internet if it succeeded. Since this place was the internet's biggest exporter of memes, anything that disrupted the balance had the capability of changing the entire internet permanently. He had to move fast. Walking to the door, he looked through the peephole. The place seemed to have very lax security since there weren't any guards. More proof that Ayano now didn't have to bother with the finer details nearing the end of her operation. Bendy also noted that there weren't any windows, lending to the fact that this room was underground. He twisted the knob and pushed.

The heavy metal door let out a sharp metallic groan as Bendy stepped out and found himself in a long corridor, the walls dark grey with black tiles on the floor. The ceiling had two large pipes stretching out for the entire hallway. Bendy silently sidestepped in an attempt to see if anyone was watching, seeing numerous doors that led to similar rooms like the one that Bendy was trapped. It became apparent that this section was a holding place for prisoners. Bendy saw numerous characters trapped on the other side of these doors, with blank expressions on their faces. It seemed that Ayano was keeping their minds trapped in the Dark Puddles. Bendy wanted to help them but he didn't want to draw attention to himself. He continued to sidestep along the corridor but he heard a small shuffling sound just up ahead. Bendy instinctively swung open a door and closed it behind himself as he entered the room. Hoping that he didn't draw any attention to himself, backed away from the door. He noted a figure was slumped over in the corner snoring. Suddenly a purplish glare emitted from the peephole, Bendy's heart stopped. The purple light continued to emit from the peephole for a few more seconds then moved off. Bendy exhaled and stepped out of the shadows.

"i thought i saw something in here..."

Bendy, immediately regretting his decision, spun around and saw Dusttale sans looming at the doorway, his left eye shining with a corrupted purple flame. He took a few steps forward and slammed the door behind him.

"Did the madam decided to demote you to a warden?" said Bendy with mock politeness, desperately trying to think up of a way to get himself out of this situation.

Dusttale sans' crazed expression turned sour.

"good to be back to the material world is it eh? not when you're in some pocket dimension being watched by everyone..."

Bendy tried to step back but a cluster of bones erupted around him, trapping him inside a tight circle of bones.

"ah ah ah... you're not going anywhere, i told the madam that she was being too careless... she didn't, didn't listen, because we're nearly done here... but no matter... once i have taken care of you, she'll finally listen to me!"

There was a day-dreamy, gleeful look in his face. But something wasn't right about him. Bendy had seen and played Dusttale many times but something was off. He didn't see it in the strip club but he saw it now. Not that he was completely insane, but the way he spoke, his rudeness, his firm attachment to his opinion the way he acted around women... He only saw this type of behavior in one type of internet user.

"Hey Dusty!" sneered Bendy, the skeleton broke from his fantasizing and stared at him, "How many DMs did you send the missus get her to station you at YouTube?"

A roar of fury erupted from Dusttale sans. The bones surrounding Bendy snapped closer forcing him to suck in his chest to not touch them. The skeleton's grin was replaced by a tooth-baring snarl, both eyes blazing with purple light.

"i will not be insulted like that!" shrieked Dusttale sans, beads of sweat trickling down his skull, "i am not a simp! no, no, no! we respect each other. we do right? papyrus? she respects me, right? papyrus? talk to me!"

"you have no right to us that name you dirty brother killer."

Dusttale sans snapped from his incoherent mumbling, eye sockets wide as white bone shards exploded out of the wall, impaling him in the chest. The skeleton was speechless as he tried to move through his torn clothes but couldn't, a blue glowing outline emitting around him. An endless stream of bones exploded out the walls and impaled him at all directions. Dusttale sans let out a hoarse groan as he disintegrated into dust. His remains then turning black and gooey, spreading all over the floor. Bendy grinned as he turned around and saw the real sans stood in a corner, his glowing blue eye dimming as he trudged towards the demon.

"Thanks for the help," said Bendy, "I was starting to think Ayano got control over your mind again."

"i should thank you, buddy old pal," grinned sans, his voice slightly slurred from all the time trapped inside his head, "have a little bone to pick with these freaks. heh heh heh..."

Bendy irked at the pun but forced himself not to be disrespectful.

"so, what's was the deal with him?" muttered sans as he glanced at the black gooey mess that was the remains of the imposter, "he should have just turned to dust."

Bendy stooped down and touched the substance with his gloved hand, some of it sticking to his hand with a disgusting squelch. He held his hand closer to his face to look closer and a grim recognition came over him as the substance assimilated with his hand.

"It's the ink from my machine," snarled Bendy a wave of anger coming over him, "That bitch stole my ink machine to create more minions to do her dirty work. She must have used the CD that was in the Library to provide a template for the machine. But why was this one loyal to her? All the creatures that are birthed by the machine only look out for themselves."

"i think you have the answer," said sans quietly as he leaned over plucked a small grey device that was covered in the goopy ink. It was a flat rectangular device with flashing lights and a long, sharp, needle-like appendage.

"i've seen this before. it's some sort of inhibitor chip that overrides a person's original personality with a new one. welp... i guess that explains a lot of things."

"His overall attraction towards women gave it away," snickered Bendy, looking at the door, "What now?"

"well buddy. we still don't know exactly what is going on here and we have to stop what ever it is from succeeding."

Bendy nodded and glanced at the door.

"So, want to cause some chaos?"

"it would be my pleasure," sans said with a smug grin as he put his hands in his pockets, eye sockets going dark, "those freaks are about to have a bad time..."
