When Bendy finally came out of the puddles. He awoke on top of his ink machine which had been relocated back inside his house. He gave Mr Peterson quite a shock who was sitting on a couch, watching the machine. They quickly exchanged their heartfelt greetings and called Freddy and sans who came to the house as soon they heard that Bendy was back. The four of them sat in the living room. Bendy sat in an armchair while Freddy and Mr Peterson were on the couch and sans sat on a stool, drinking a bottle of ketchup. They exchanged their stories on what happened during their storming of Reddit. Freddy and sans managed to keep Rule 34 at bay until Bendy managed to redirect the poison away from the meme reservoir. The tentacle monster crashed through the window and fled the building as soon as it was clear Ayano lost. Mr Peterson's team arrested Ayano's remaining minions and sent them away to be judged for their crimes.

"Honestly, I think they should not be judged harshly," commented Mr Peterson as he wrung his hands, "They were brainwashed by those Redditor inhibitor chips you and sans found. That should be account for something."

"eh i don't really care," muttered sans, "that dusttale au version of me is still a creep i still believe he should in jail. too bad he's dead."

Freddy then explained how got SMG4 (more like forced) to check on Reddit's meme supply.

"The memes will still have to be purified from that rainbow stuff," said Freddy, "But you managed to reverse most of the damage. It should be a simpler process."

Bendy felt content with the information, but he still had one question.

"What happened with Ayano," asked Bendy, "You know that she fell very far and I heard her hit the floor."

Mr Peterson looked uncomfortable maybe even afraid.

"When we checked the floor, we didn't find her body," he explained, "Although we did find the spot where she splatted because of the blood, we didn't find her. We didn't know where she went."

"Or more like where her body was taken," interrupted Freddy who looked like he was trying to laugh, "We found a trail of mucus and semen around the area. A very irrelevant detail."

Bendy busted out laughing. Freddy let loose a chuckle. It seems that Ayano's actions have still caught up to her, even post mortem.

"Freddy, we have no idea where it took her," warned Mr Peterson.

"It doesn't matter," wheezed Bendy, "Once it has done the deed, Ayano will have absolutely no support left. She'll be easy to track down."

"you sound really sure of us," muttered sans dejectedly, "without your help, the entire internet would have been destroyed."

"That because you guys are actually competent," said Bendy as he patted sans on the shoulder, "Half of the stuff I did wouldn't have been possible without you guys."

Suddenly, the phone rang in the kitchen. Bendy looked apologetically at his friends.

"You should probably pick that up," said Freddy as he stood up, "We have to leave anyway to make sure things are the way they should be. Bendy, I know our gratitude may seem insincere, but thank you for your help."

The three of them left through the front door. Bendy hurried to the kitchen and picked up the phone and held the receiver to his ear and was pleasantly surprised.

"Hey Bendy," greeted Splatasia cheerfully, "I heard about what happened over at Reddit. You okay?"

"I'm fine," said Bendy realizing he hadn't thought much about the inklings since their first altercation with Rule 34, "How's James?"

"Oh he is fine," said Splatasia in a slightly pained voice, "He is recovering relatively well for someone who was brutally sodomized by a tentacle monster. But I want to hear from you. What did you do after you left Splat Harbor?"

Bendy told her everything. From meeting SMG4 to storming Reddit. Surprisingly, Bendy felt comforted that he was able to share this with someone else other than Freddy, Peterson, or sans.

"So what now?"

Bendy paused confusedly.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you saved the internet from the apocalypse," inquired Splatasia, "What do are you going to do now?"

Bendy hadn't really considered it. Was he expected to pull himself out of his life for some one-off adventure then come back as if nothing happened? But then if he tried to come with his friends on more investigations, did he really want that life?

Will you ever get tired of being your friend's little sniffer dog?

"I'm not really sure," muttered Bendy, "But I was thinking of moving out, maybe closer to the city. Try to get more relevant you know? Find my own path."

Bendy looked out the window and studied the distant cityscape.

"I was also thinking of coming to your place," said Bendy, "You mind introducing me to some of those ink inventions you created?"

"How fast can you come here?" asked Splatasia, her voice bubbling with excitement.

"Ten seconds," answered Bendy with a smug look on his face.

"Oh you showoff," said Splatasia, "See you."

Bendy put down the phone and with a genuine smile on his face, he sank into an ink puddle.
