Episode 3
Best friends
After the fight with Gigan; Kenji, and Godzilla unmerge. With them unmerged Godzilla heads back into the ocean; ready to be called upon again. Feeling like he had just taken a beating; Kenji tries to rest on the beach, but Emma goes over, and wakes him up.
"Hey Kenji I'm sorry, but we can't rest for now. We need to find out what the other gems would want to bond with" Emma explains as she takes him to their cave headquarters.
At the headquarters; Emma, and Kenji stare at the gems trying to decide which one they should summon next.
"Remember my student; it is the gem who chooses the knight. It has to be someone who matches their personality" Mikki says as she watches them trying to choose a gem.
"Well, what about this one?" Kenji says as he is pointing at a brown gem.
Emma takes a look at it. "Ah, the gem of Angurius the loyal friend to Godzilla. He was once an enemy to Godzilla, but now he is considered a friend to Godzilla. Someone who is loyal to the king in every battle, and will always be by his side. This gem must be trusted to someone who you know to be loyal to you, and would never leave your side; do you know someone who is like that?" Emma asks.
"As a matter of fact, I do; my best friend Ethan. He is someone who despite being a little bit hot headed; he has always had my back no matter what." Kenji replies.
"Then you must give the angurius gem to him; with this he will be able to help in the battle against Xenilla" Mikki explains as she hands the gem over to both Kenji, and Emma. With that the two wind up back at the hotel that Kenji, and his friends were staying at.
Outside the room Kenji sees his friend Ethan walking out of the hotel to greet him.
"Yo Kenji my bro, where have you been? Me, and the gang have been looking for you; espcially after what has been going on!" Ethan says nearly yelling at him.
"What are you talking about? What has been going on?" Kenji says pretending to be a little clueless.
"Didn't you hear about the earthquakes, and the sightings?" Ethan asks.
"Earthquakes? Sightings?" Kenji asks still pretending.
"Well, when we went to look for you; there was a bunch of earthquakes going on. There were also sighting of kaiju like ones that haven't been seen in years; one that were thought to only be legend" Ethan explains.
"I can tell you now; that they aren't no legend. Not anymore!" Emma says entering the room with Mikki by her side.
Startled Ethan nearly falls onto the bed. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?!"
"My name is Emma, and I'm a friend of Kenji's." Emma says holding out her hand introducing herself. "And right now, we have some explaining to do for you; since we might need your help". They proceed to take Ethan outside the building, and explain to him about Godzilla, and the kaijus. Ethan feels that his mind is blown about hearing all this; cause he only thought this kind of stuff was in movies, or comics. At that moment Mikki explains about the gems that gives the humans the ability to form a bond with their chosen monster; when something strikes them sending them flying to the ground.
Mikki looks up, and sees a monster that is golden colored; with a dragon head, and dragon heads for arms. Using his arms, the monster points at Mikki.
"By the royalty of Xenilla I demand you give me that gem!" the monster says.
"Who, or what the heck are you?!" Kenji asks as he stands ready to fight.
"I have been called many things; Alpha, destroyer of worlds, but my real name is Ghidorah" the monster replies raising his arm ready to fire another blast of lighting.
At that moment seeing what is going on; Kenji steps in, and activates his gem. When the smoke clears the Kaiju-Knight Godzilla emerges, and is staring down Ghidorah.
"So, my old rival has returned; ready to fight just like old times?" Ghidorah snarls with a sinister smile.
"Ghidorah! You have caused enough pain in this world; as the one true protector of the planet I command you to leave!" Godzilla replies.
"Let me think about that for a second. Ehhh no!" Ghidorah replies as he fires a blast of lightning at Godzilla.
Sparks fly as Godzilla is hit by a blast of lightning; At that moment Emma turns into her Mothra knight form. Using her antennae; Mothra fires some lasers at Ghidorah. Ghidorah growls after being hit by those blast; he then turns towards the two monsters with an evil grin on his face.
"So, you two think that could have stopped me?!" Ghidorah says as he again fires a blast of lightning at the two monsters.
Both Mothra, and Godzilla fall, as does Mikki as part of the blast hits her; causing her to drop the gem. The gem is almost near Ghidorah; when before Ghidorah could reach it, Ethan grabs the gem.
"What the?! You puny pile of flesh give me that rock!" Ghidorah demands
"Let me think about that; I think no!" Ethan replies as he grabs the gem.
At that moment the gem begins to glow in Ethan's hands; a glow so bright that Ghidorah has to step back. Ethan lets out a scream as the glow from the gem begins to envelop him. When the glow is done a new Kaiju-knight emerges; this one looking like a combination of a human, and Angurius. Ghidorah laughs upon seeing the monster that the human bonded to.
"You think that puny monster can take me on?" Ghidorah says sarcastically laughing.
"Let's just see about that!" Anguirus says as he begins to charge towards Ghidorah.
Ghidorah seeing Anguirus as a joke; decides to fire a multiple lightning attack. When the smoke clears Anguirus is holding up his spiked shield, and chuckles. At that moment Godzilla, and Mothra manage to get up, and growl at Ghidorah.
"Guys Anguirus is telling me that he has a plan, but it requires your atomic breath, and your laser antennae" Angurius says.
At that moment Anguirus forms a ball with his armor; Godzilla fires up his sword. Mothra fires her lasers on Anguirus's back. The spikes begin to glow as the energy from the beams gets absorbed. Ghidorah seeing what is going one; has a look of fear on his face. Cause he knows what is going to happen, and he starts to take off running.
"I have got to get out of here! Xenilla please beam me up soon!" Ghidorah says as he starts to run.
At that moment Anguirus lets loose his thunderball; which rolls right towards Ghidorah at a high speed. Ghidorah lets out a scream of pain as he is launched into the air, just in time for Xenilla to beam Ghidorah up. However, the beam has a completely different effect on Ghidorah; instead of beaming him up. It makes him show his true kaiju form; the golden three headed dragon.
"Now you will see what true power is all about!" Ghidorah says as he flies zapping the city with his lightning blasts.
At that moment Godzilla, and Mothra both knowing what to do, but first they have to help Anguirus with the summoning, and taming. Godzilla, and Mothra explain what they have to do, and talk Ethan about what to do. At that moment Ethan looks around holding the gem; when it starts to glow bright near the mountain range.
"Anguirus my friend we need your help" Ethan says talking to the mountain range.
In the mountain range; in an underground cavern. Anguirus hears someone calling to him, but then he hears the sound of Ghidorah's roar. At that moment Anguirus knows just what to do, and he begins to head for the mouth of the cave. Anguirus lets out a loud screech upon seeing Ghidorah; Ghidorah wonders where that loud screech came from. He then turns to see a ball of spikes barreling towards him; Ghidorah isn't able to move out of the way as the spikes hit him in the side.
Seeing this Ethan rushes towards Anguiurus's side, and at that point it is like the two instantly get each. Ethan activates the gem; while Mothra, and Godzilla call on their kaijus. Ethan now in control of Anguirus; lets out a roar ready to fight Ghidorah. At that point; Mothra begins to attack Ghidorah with her lasers, and Godzilla manages to double kick Ghidorah. However Ghidorah is unphased by either of the attacks, and proceeds to zap both of the kaiju with his lightning.
Seeing both of his friends being attacked; Anguirus rolls himself into a small ball. It is then that he starts to roll towards the dragon. Ghidorah feeling a little prepared this time; manages to fly up to avoid the attack. After missing the attack; Anguiurus manages to uncurl himself. He then unleashes his loud screech, which stuns Ghidorah. Seeing that he is stunned; Godzilla manages to ram Ghidorah.
Ghidorah falls still feeling a bit stunned from Anguirus's attack, but he manages to get back up. Only for Mothra to start clawing at the dragon with her feet; Ghidorah manages to knock Mothra away. As Ghidorah is trying to get Mothra to leave him alone; with his tail Anguirus manages to trip the dragon. Seeing the opportunity; Godzilla unleashes his atomic breath on Ghidorah. Wounded Ghidorah flies away; just in time for Xenilla to beam the cowardly dragon back up.
The teens return to their human forms, and say bye to the kaijus as they head back for home.
"Man, Kenji I can see why you were chosen for Godzilla, but I can somewhat see why I was chosen for Anguirus" Ethan says.
Kenji offers Ethan his hand. "We have much to discuss my friend. First off how these monsters were at one time real" Kenji explain.
Back on Xenilla's ship Ghidorah is in the presence of Xenilla.
"Please master let me have another crack at that so called alpha!" Ghidorah says as he is trying not to cry.
"Silence! You little weakling! I've had enough of your groveling!"Xenilla shouts looking at both Gigan, and Ghidorah. "Those two were like your formal rivals! And, yet you couldn't defeat them!"
"Well, I would have defeated them; if Anguirus hadn't of shown up. I mean that dude has some thick armor" Ghidorah replies.
"Armor huh? Interesting, I might just have the monster to take care of that" Xenilla says as he looks at his gems. He holds one that looks like a type of beetle with drills for hands.
