Kafei thought he and Anju were going to die when the moon was falling. He hated being cursed into a child's body, and hated that he and Anju would never be able to get married like they wanted. When Majora is defeated, and the moon problem solved, he's shocked and disturbed to find that his body hasn't been restored to normal. Luckily, Anju doesn't seem to care that much.

Continuing from the Gerudo memory in Breath of the Wild, Zelda and Link head to Gerudo Town and other places around Hyrule as Zelda tries unlocking her powers to prevent the Calamity and fight this growing connection with the Hylian Champion.

Castle Town has matured into the sprawling capital of Hyrule, earning the name "Hyrulia". Its population has outgrown the protection of the Royal Knights of Hyrule. Thus was born the City Watch of Hyrule, a police force dedicated to protecting the people of Hyrulia from crime. However, Hyrulia, and the rest of Hyrule, are about to need more than the police. They will need a hero.

A trap was laid before the danger was known, and a minor change to the timeline- a miniscule scar- left a Princess unable to access her divine birthright. As a result, her Champion had to step in at the last moment. Link comes back to Lon Lon Ranch after defeating Ganondorf. He is tired of adventuring and fighting. He wants nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with Malon, the stable girl whom he has fallen in love with. And Malon is more than eager to give him the welcome that she has been wanting to give him for months...
