Author's note: Hello everyone! It is here, this is where the actual story begins! I am a little sad to see that not a lot of people viewed or check out the Prologue according to the statistics on the website. But then again it is just a prologue with not a lot of things happening, plus Elena of Avalor doesn't get as much attention as it's original predecessor Sofia the First, I think a similar thing can be said with King Kong and Godzilla. Though I am hoping that this story will get much more attention later down the line, like I stated in the prologue, I have big plans in stored.

But for now, let's give a brief summary, this story takes place a several weeks (possibly a month) after Shuriki's defeat and the return of Princess Elena, about a day after Spellbound and before A Prince too Charming. As for the MonsterVerse realm, it took place one year after the battle with the massive Skullcrawler, these two worlds have different time flows, how different it is remains to be seen. Whatever the case Kong had grew a bit, not a lot though since it's only been one year.

Well without further ado, let's get started.

In the Kingdom of Avalor, all of the people within the kingdom are a united front, lead by their lost princess who just recently returned. Elena, along with Princess Sofia and the Royal Family of Enchancia are riding the national symbol of Avalor, the Jacquins as they along with the rest of the people of Avalor began to storm towards the Royal castle. King Roland the second fend of the soldiers, allowing his daughter Sofia and her friend Elena to open the front door of the castle, letting the citizens of the kingdom in and to put an end to Shuriki's rule once and for all.

The guards tried to fend of the people, but their numbers are too vast as they retreated inside the castle while Shuriki and her two lackeys were standing beside her, until one of them named Armando decides to switch sides and joined with the rest of the people.

Shuriki scoffed at the guard's lack of humility "Cowards" she said in disappointment as she turns her attention to the forces of good "Enough!" Shuriki yelled as she raised her wand up high "Obstora!" she chanted as she cast a powerful spell up to the sky, creating large purple storm clouds that engulf the entire Kingdom of Avalor.

"Leave my palace at once!" Shuriki demanded furiously, threatening the princesses and their allies while pointing them to leave.

"It's not your palace Shuriki! It's ours! And you can't stopped all of us!" Elena bravely stated as she and everyone else stand beside her.

"I don't have to, I only need to stop you!" said the evil sorceress as she aims her wand up, about to cast a deadly spell to dispose the princess once and for all. That is until a hand grabs hers and snatches the wand out of her hand and keep it away from her, that hand belongs to her Chancellor Esteban who now has her wand in his hands "ESTEBAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Shuriki yelled in shocked, stunned by her chancellor's actions.

"ELENA CATCH!" Esteban yells out as he tossed the wand towards the Princess of Avalor, Shuriki fails to catch it as Elena snatches it in mid air as the wand is in her hands once again.

But Shuriki regains her confidence "HA! You can't used the wand on me girl." she said with a smirk, knowing that Elena does not have the skill to use her own wand against her.

"Maybe so, but let's see how powerful you are...without it." Elena pointed out as she placed both her hands on the wand on each end of it and glares at the sorceresses, looking like as if she was daring to do something risky.

Shuriki's smirk faded away as she starts to realized what the princess was implying, without warning Elena starts to bend the wand on each end with her two hands and with all the strength she mustered, she breaks the wand in half, creating a large burst of green energy like shockwaves.

"NO!" Shuriki yells out in panic as all the stored up magic inside of her wand begins to disperse out, sending out more shockwaves that cause the people around them to stumbled back, some of the magic aura hit Shuriki before all of it flew up into the sky "NO!" the evil sorceress cried out as she starts to age rapidly.

The purple storm clouds above the kingdom began to disappear as all the magic inside the wand flew into the sky and sends out one last shockwave that dissipates all the storm clouds. With the magical storm gone, the sun shines down as the bushes, trees and other plants grew lovely flowers and the cities and villages in the kingdom is fuel with life as it once was.

The once ruler of Avalor was now laying down with both hands on the floor in defeat as the true princess of Avalor approaches the sorceress "Shuriki, your reign is over!" she declared before the villainess stood up to revealed her deformed state for all eyes to see. Shuriki, the once mature beauty is now an old and crippled lady, her hair became white, her attire is grey and ragged, she has wrinkles all over her skin and she even has crows feet around her eyes, which startled the majority of the people around her, even Elena herself.

In a desperate attempt to escape, the woman ran to the other side of the castle while screaming in panic, reaching to the bridge that connects the castle to the city of Avalor, looking down to the waterfall and the huge body of water bellow her, Shuriki realized that there is no escape route for her to take and whatever power she once had was now gone. The sorcerers was in a state of denial, losing the source of her power, her youth and her reign over Avalor and in her state of denial, she failed to noticed that she stepped too close to the ledge of the bridge until it was too late as she missed her footing and slipped of the ledge, falling down to the high rushing waters bellow as she seemingly fell to her demise. The two young princesses Elena and Sofia looked down from where the sorceress had fell, concluding that an old decrepit woman like her would have no chance of surviving such a fall, not realizing just how wrong they are.

But what no one knows, not even Shuriki herself is that her wand is far more powerful then anyone would have realized. When Elena snapped the wand in half, it releases any excess dormant magic inside that not even Shuriki was able to tap into, this not only took away Shuriki's youth and removing the storm she had casted moments ago, this also made any of the excess magic inside the wand to travel up to the sky and disappeared from this realm. While most of Shuriki's magic still remains in the Ever Realm, some small remnants of it bypassed the barrier between universes and was leaked into another reality, a reality that is unknown by any of the residents of the Ever Realm.

-In the MonsterVerse Realm-

In the other realm, the remaining residue of Shuriki's magic had traveled down to the deepest part of the planet and into a world unlike any other, a world underneath the surface world, a world fueled with almost outlandish biodiversity and an ecosystem that was long forgotten by nearly all. This world is the Hollow Earth, the remnants of Shuriki's magic then travel upwards as it began to came in contact with another force, a force unlike any other that is seen by the people from above. This is the essence of the Hollow Earth itself, a radiation source that is a part of the entire planet, the sorceress's magic began to meld with the bizarre blue energy, while the magic in the wand was little, it was enough to cause some sort of reaction with the Hollow Earth's radiation. Causing it to travel upwards, until it reaches near to the surface world, right under a certain island that was surrounded by a perpetual storm, the mixture between Shuriki's magic and the Hollow Earth's radiation then fuses itself with the vortex that was bellow the island, altering the entrance's properties and the space-time distortion, turning it into a wormhole of some sorts, a wormhole to another realm.

This phenomenon got the attention of the beings that lived bellow the island. Beings that have a voracious appetite to consume anything that moves, creatures that are feared by the native people of the island, the Halakrahs. Even though the larger one was executed by the island's protector a year ago, several of it's surviving offspring still thrive bellow the surface world. A couple of Skullcrawlers caught a sense, a sense quite bizarre and yet familiar at the same time. Flicking it's snake like tongue, the lizard like monsters use their specialize senses to detect where is the source of this sensation, until it lead them to the entry way to the Hollow Earth, or what was used to be the Hollow Earth entry vortex, now it emits in a ray of color than it's usual blue like veil. The creatures were curious by the sensation, it felt familiar like the underworld home that they all came from, yet it felt entirely foreign to them at the same time.

Despite their never ending hunger, a sense of curiosity driven them as much and like as if all of them have a general consensus, each of the creatures leap into the vortex one by one. Diving down into the wormhole, unknowingly entered an entirely different realm outside of their own.

~Back in the Ever Realm~

It has been several weeks since the defeat of Queen Shuriki, the departure of the Royal Family of Enchancia and the returned of Princess Elena and her Royal Family, the Kingdom of Avalor is slowly beginning to returned to it's former glory. From restoring it's original traditions, culture and all the way to bringing back singing, dancing and making the Jaquins the national animal and symbol once more. The city and villages in Avalor are slowly, but surely recovering back to it's roots as the people become more lively and some of them started to sing, dance and playing instruments more often like they have used to before Shuriki's reign. More trades and treaties have been made as a couple of ships sail out to foreign lands to make more connections with other kingdoms and the kingdoms that already made a trade with Avalor had their shipments just recently arrived.

The last mishap that Elena has experienced is when a Malvago, also known as an evil wizard by the name of Fiero have come to invade the kingdom to get his revenge on his sworn rival, the previous Royal Wizard of Avalor named Alacazar by stealing the Codex Maru book. Fortunately one of her friends Mateo, who also happens to be Alacazar's grandson have ended the malvago's reign of terror which resulted in the evil wizard to turned into stone. It has been a few days since that incident and right now the stone form of Fiero is now a glorified garden decor in the castle's courtyard.

Currently in the Grand Council meeting room, Princess Elena was setting up a schedule with the other members of the grand council, which consist of herself, her maternal grandparents Francisco and Luisa, her cousin Chancellor Esteban and her best friend Naomi.

"Right then everyone, what do we have up next in the schedule?" Elena asked everyone in the room.

Her cousin Esteban pulled out a list "Well princess, we recently received a letter from the king of Cordoba, king Juan Ramón. He stated that he would like a bridge to be build that connects their borders with ours. It would made traveling between our two kingdoms a lot easier." the Chancellor informed.

"Wow! Really?" Elena said in excitement, she heard some good things about the neighboring Kingdom of Cordoba, she hasn't spend much time traveling to kingdoms outside of Avalor and no being trapped inside an Amulet while a princess from another kingdom wearing it does not count.

"Yes, although it is quite a royal project to be made." Esteban interrupted "It would be better that someone like myself to greet with the king to do the project, besides the king also wanted his son Prince Alonso to be a part of it as well. With two young teenagers working on such a tremendous task. I highly doubt that Elena has that kind of responsibility." the Chancellor stated, sounding as if he's doubting his cousin's capabilities.

Elena felt offended by her cousin's insensitive remarks, thinking that Esteban should have known better than to doubt her capabilities.

"Come now Esteban, Elena had stopped Shuriki, helped the Noblins and getting the ships back, made trade allies with the Kingdom of Satu, befriended Charoca and even helped Mateo to stopped Friero. What makes you think that she could not handled a simple task of building a bridge that connects our kingdom with Cordoba?" Francisco stated confidently.

"I agree, plus this is also a great opportunity for Elena to learned more about the neighboring Kingdoms around Avalor. She's been inside of that amulet for too long after all." Luisa agrees with her husband, she knew that Elena is more than capable of setting up a bridge as a royal project.

"Yeah Esteban, there's nothing to be worried about." Naomi added as well, being Elena's best friend, she does not see how Elena would mess it up "And besides, Gabe will be there in case if something comes up." she pointed out as well.

Elena was happy to see that her grandparents and her best friend has her full support, while her cousin Esteban sighed in defeat, knowing that most of the council are with Elena on this one "Oh fine then. Elena, you can take care of the bridge building. Since the king will allow time for you to do some research about it's geography and culture, you can decide on where it will be the best place for the bridge to be build."he tells the princess.

"Yes!" Elena said with excitement, this will be her very first big royal project and if she succeeds in it, she will be one step close to become the rightful queen of Avalor. But of course she still has many more obstacles to face long before then.

However, her primo Esteban interrupted her "But if anything does go wrong, then it will be on you princess." he warned the princess. Despite being family, Esteban still has some doubts on his much younger cousin.

Elena however huffed "Please Esteban, if something does go wrong, then I will make sure to fix it." she said in dismissal.

The Chancellor rolled his eyes before looking back to his list "Alright then, for the next task. King Hector invited us to his Royal Retreat club for us, along with King Joaquín of Carzia, King Raja of Napurna and King Lars, the meeting is on King Hector's island." Esteban listed.

"Oh, now that is a problem. We were planning on our vacation on that same exact location." grandma Luisa pointed out.

"Yes, it was supposed to be a quiet and relaxing day for us too, not to mentioned Isabel will be joining us as well." Francisco agreed with his other half.

But Elena interjected "Don't worry abuelo and abuela. I will attend to the Royal Retreat, learn more about the other rulers and provide them gifts while you two and hermana enjoy your day." she suggested.

"Are you sure Elena? I am confident that you can handle the Royal Bridge Project. But this is a whole different territory." Francisco told his granddaughter "Not every ruler are the same as us. Plus from what I have heard, King Hector isn't one of the more...pleasant rulers." he said with some concern.

"Oh Francisco, I am sure that Elena will get along well enough with the other rulers." Luisa reassured her husband "But if it makes you feel any better marido, then the two of us and Isabel will just be on the other side of the island, so if Elena does come to a predicament, she could just come to us by Jaquin riding." she pointed out before looking back to her granddaughter "How does that sound nieta?" she asked her granddaughter.

"Of course abuela! That sounds great, the two of you and Isa will be close by on the island. But I will try my best not to rely on you two too much." Elena assured her grandparents.

"Well then, now that that's taken care off. Last but not least, for Dia de los Muertos and Mavidad, we need to ensure that all the food, decorations and other materials are ready." Esteban listed the requirements for the two holidays "Since it is still several months away, we will have plenty of time to be prepare for it. But just to be sure, someone needs to check to see if the harvest will be bountiful enough, the decorations are still in shape and that we have all the other supplies for the two holidays." He read out loud.

"That I think I can help out." Naomi insist "My dad and I can talk to the locals to see if everything is coming alone well, plus I doubt Dona Paloma would not have all the things we need, but I will check on it, just to be sure." she said through her teeth, being around the Magister of the Trading Guild is a bit unbearable, to say the least.

"Well then, I supposed we have covered up everything on the list." Esteban stated, using his pen to check mark on the boxes on the list.

"One last thing Esteban." Elena asked, getting the Chancellor's attention "Have anyone heard of anything from the Kingdom of Enchancia?" the Princess of Avalor asked.

"I'm afraid not Elena, Echancia is a faraway kingdom from Avalor. It is possible that the Royal Family hasn't arrived home yet." Esteban guess "Even if they did arrived home, I don't think we will heard or receive anything from that kingdom anytime soon since it is quite a vast distance away." he said, as if stating the obvious.

"Oh well, I was just wondering that's all." Elena shrugged at it, trying to sound nonchalant, but deep down she is kinda upset to hear it. Even though she is grateful to be free from the amulet, return home and be with her friends and family again, but she really did missed the younger princess of Enchancia, after all she's spent about 2 years with Sofia while inside of that amulet.

Naomi noticed her friend's reaction, she did remember that little conversation she had with the princess while sitting close to a waterfall, on how the princess of Enchancia freed her from the Amulet and where they hid Shuriki's broken wand.

Well if that is the case, then I believed we have taken care with most of the task at hand. Dismiss for now." Esteban said as he clap his hands and everyone got out of their seats, before leaving the meeting room and going their separate ways. But Elena decides to tagged with Naomi for a few minutes.

"Whew! What a meeting huh Naomi?" the princess said with a sigh.

"Tell me about it, Esteban really needs to loosen up a bit. It's almost as if he wants to take your place or something." Naomi jested.

The two teenage girls laughed hysterically, making a joke out of it, but Elena's laugh sounded a bit more awkward compared to Naomi's. After all she knew that Esteban used to aligned with Shuriki and served under the power hungry villainess, she knew that her cousin only did it to protect her grandparents and her younger sister from the wicked sorceress. But she cannot helped but to wondered if her cousin really does have some sort of ulterior motives even before Shuriki came to invade Avalor, if only she knew how right she was.

The two seized their laughter"Well I better get going, my dad would be expecting me to lend him a hand at the harbor." she said before running of ahead of Elena "Catch you later!" she said, waving goodbye to the princess, leaving her alone in the corridors of the castle.

Elena awkwardly waving goodbye to Naomi before looking down, feeling a bit lonely and not entirely sure of what she should do next. She could start doing some research on Cordoba's sites to see where would be the best place to build the bridge or learning more about the kings who will be attending the royal retreat, but there is plenty of time to do all of that, plus the two upcoming holidays are further away then that. With that, she decides to check up on her other friends Mateo or Gabe or maybe even her sister Isabel.

-Back in the MonsterVerse world-

Our attention is back to the realm fuel with creatures of incomparable size, more specifically on Skull Island. It has been a year since the incident with the human expedition team came to the island and the battle between the island's savior with the reptilian dweller from bellow. Kong, the ape himself was fast asleep, getting some rest after a hardy meal of a giant fish and some of the leaves and fruits on the trees. He had grown a bit within just one year, now standing up to 52.5 meters tall, Kong is still on a path to adulthood, but only time will tell as to when he truly reaches to his full potential.

In his sleeping state, he began to saw images, they were blurry and he could not see a clear picture, but he think he could make a coherent story. He could vaguely saw groups of humans who are standing and surrounding two humans, one of them seems to be threatening them despite the odds. However the other human next to the individual seemed to have switch sides and aided the whole group in defeating the individual, reverting to an old decrepit age before felling over a waterfall. While the massive group of humans stand triumphantly.

This suddenly woke Kong from his slumber as he sat up and blinked in confusion while rubbing his head, what was that vision? what does it mean? and why did he have it in the first place? So many questions came from one bizarre dream, or was it a dream? Whatever the case the ape saw that it was the brink of dawn as a small glimmer of sunlight began to lighten the sky. Deciding that it was close to morning, he decided to forget about the dream for now and got up early as he yawns and stood up, stretching his arms and starting his morning routine. Kong got out of his den, the largest mountain on the island, while it appears to be normal mountain at first, but when looking though it with the smaller separate mountains in front of it, the formation of the smaller mountains in front of the largest mountain creates a pareidolia effect that made the mountain form a shape resembling a human skull!

The king of skull island stepped out of his domain and slowly slid down the mountain until he reached to the ground where he began his daily patrol, but not before getting some breakfast. The ape headed backed to a large pond, which happens to be the same pond where he executed and eaten an enormous octopus/squid like cephelopod a year ago, Kong looked down at the banks near the shore where he notices something in the water, he slowly reached his hand out and snatches whatever that was underwater, before he lifts his hand up and revealed what appears to be a large muscle-like bivalve. Kong placed it between his mouth while slowly and carefully try to bite it down, when he realized how hard it was, he decides to place his fingers in between the two halves of the shell and with a bit of effort, pulls the two halves of the shells open to revealed the mollusk inside of it. With that Kong lunges down and takes a good bite on the creature, chewing it and swallowing his meal before tossing the halves of its shells to the water.

Kong stood up and continue his way when he saw a tree fuel with fruit like berries on them, he uprooted the tree and starts to eat the leaves and fruit on the tree, having some vegetation and fruit are quite vital as well. As Kong patrol around the island and finishing his fruit and vegetables before tossing the plant to the side, letting any creature to finished of what's remain of the tree, the ape was walking over a large valley when he took one step and notices something. Kong looked down to where he is standing and take another large step when he heard the sound of his stomping seemed a bit off compared to where he was at near his lair, it almost sound as if the ground and bedrocks under his feet are...hollow.

Kong knew all too well that his enemies the Halakrahs mostly delve bellow the island, waiting for the right time to reveal themselves to the surface world. He may have executed a large one about a year ago, but there was no telling whether if there are more larger ones living under the ground and some of them might be even larger than the previous one he had killed. He thinks this calls for an investigation, retracing his steps, Kong came back to the place where he found the hole that was dug up by the big one and where he encounters two of the juveniles as one of which were feasting on a large buffalo near by, Kong came back to that same exact spot and sees the buffalo that got eaten by the juveniles have now been riddle to bones. It is likely that the other residence on the island finished on what remains of the creature after the juvenile got clobbered by him.

A bit saddened by the reminder of it's lost as he have grown fond of these gentle herbivores, but he decides to focus on the task at hand as he looked back at the large hole that was still on the ground. It would seemed that nothing have come to covered up the hole or no natural phenomenon would sealed it up, but this raises a question, why hasn't the remaining Halakrahs come out of it, sure some of them would rather avoid him in order to not provoked his fury, but these creatures are hypervores, they are always in a constant state of hunger and will do whatever it takes to get a hardy meal, even if it means betting their own lives on the line for it. If the hollow ground he felt minutes ago is somehow connected to this hole, he has no doubt that the ground was hollow enough for these creatures to travel through underground and bellow the island. If the big one could fit in these underground spaces, then he might be able to go down there as well, it's a bit of a gamble since he is a bit bigger than the big one he fought a year ago, but its one that he has to take, it is about time that he should get a closer look at these tunnels. With no sign of hesitation, Kong jumped down into the burrow that was made by his mortal enemies, to figure out what these ravenous creatures are up to!

AND DONE! Alrighty then, not a lot to say about this chapter to be honest. Aside from Kong growing about 2.5 meters taller, that's because time flow differently between the EverRealm and the MonsterVerse world. One year passes in the EverRealm is about 10 years passed in the MonsterVerse world, since it's only been several weeks passed after Shuriki's, I assumed that only about a year or more/less has passed in the MonsterVerse realm and Kong is bound to grow a bit within a year, I mean adolescent humans grow quite fast within a year after all.

Also I am trying to make an effort showing Kong eating a bit more vegetation, not that I have any problem with him eating meat from other creatures like the Mire Squid or fish or Warbats. It's just that he is an ape after all and some apes are known to be omnivorous like chimps, bonobos, a few gorillas and yes us, meaning that vegetables should also be apart of his diet too if he is anything like us, it would make sense for him to be an omnivore. Plus Kong has some inspiration from Bigfoots and Sasquatches and they are omnivores as well, although they shown to eat meat more often like salmon, elk, deer, hogs and even some livestocks.

Anyways, here are the size statistics of Kong and the Juvenile Skullcrawlers.

King Kong: 52.5 meters tall

Juvenile Skullcrawlers: vary from 6 to 9 meters tall and around 20 meters long from head to tail.

Adios!
