Elsa could immediately tell something was wrong. She asked her sister in concern, "Are you alright Anna?"
Anna replied with pure honesty, "I feel rather funny and my hands feel sweaty."
"We should get you to bed." Kristoff suggested as he went over to his wife.
Anna nodded in agreement.
As the group started to leave the room, Iduna could be heard saying softly, "I'm so sorry about your Father."
Anna and Elsa were the first to quickly turn around in shock.
The memory that Elsa had created made Anna feel emotionally vulnerable in a way.
Agnarr wiped tears from his eyes. "He didn't deserve to die like that."
To everyone's surprise, Anna exclaimed angrily, "Yes, he did!" Anna continued shouting as she approached the snow figures of her parents. This time in a more heated way. "Grandfather was a heartless monster and you shouldn't feel sad!"
As Elsa quickly whisked away the memory, Kristoff said firmly, "That's it. No more chocolate for you tonight."
Inside her childhood bedroom, Anna was sound asleep alongside Kristoff.
Anna started dreaming about the time she first met Kristoff at Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna. Then, she was in Elsa's flawless ice palace.
Time soon stood still…
Gale suddenly appeared and carried Anna to the Enchanted Forest. It was nighttime. Several fireflies lit Anna's surroundings. Anna called out in anticipation, "Elsa? Where are you?"
The fireflies soon flew away in fright. Anna just stood there, feeling like something was very wrong.
She gasped loudly to see King Runeard approaching her.
"Hello, my sweet Anna."
Anna eyebrows narrowed sharply. She said coldly, "Don't expect me to be fooled by a traitor. You're no better than Hans."
King Runeard sighed sadly. "I had to pay a moral price for my mistake…
Anna stared her grandfather down, but not long before he asked, "Do you want to know what really happened to you?"
Anna replied with clenched teeth, "There's nothing that I don't remember."
The King replied with a hint of anxiety as he projected a memory Anna couldn't recall, "This you need to see."
Inside the castle's throne room, Young Anna was jumping across mountains made out of Elsa's snow. Young Elsa was trying her best to catch up to her younger, energetic sister. She shouted worriedly, "Wait! Slow down!"
Young Elsa found herself slipping on the ice, but raised her head just in time to see Anna jumping from the tallest snowy mountain. Elsa cried out in fear, "Anna!"
To Anna's horror, Elsa accidentally struck her younger self with her magic.
Tears started forming in Queen Anna's eyes.
Elsa… Grand Pabbie… Mother and Father… Never told me what really happened. Anna whispered to herself, feeling absolutely heartbroken.
King Runeard noticed this immediately. He bent down to give his granddaughter a comforting hug. He said softly, "You must have something to protect yourself with, my child."
Anna tried to look away from her grandfather.
The King said sternly, "I'm only trying to help you Anna. If you had powers like Elsa, you wouldn't be afraid of anything anymore. No one will be able to hurt you… physically or emotionally."
At that moment, Anna stood up straight with her head held up high. "If it's the only way that I never have to see you again… then I accept."
As Anna approached her grandfather, she could faintly hear familiar voices.
King Runeard embraced Anna as magic swirled around Anna. "I love you Anna."
All of a sudden, all of Anna's surroundings, including King Runeard, faded away. This left Anna in pitch black darkness.
Anna's eyes bolted right up. She found herself frowning when she could hear Elsa having a pleasant conversation with Kristoff and Olaf.
Anna thought, I'll show them that I deserve to know everything!
Elsa was chuckling at Olaf's little dance, when the candles on the walls started bursting into flame!
Elsa quickly shouted to Kristoff and Olaf as she shot beams of ice at the fire, "Quick! Get everyone to safety!"
Olaf asked very worriedly, "Wait? Where's Anna?"
