A/N So um Hello! I don't know when I will post this, but I am writing this 10th chapter right after I finished the 9th chapter. I honestly don't know where this story is going, but I WILL continue this story. And when it comes to Isabelle's arranged marriage, what do you guys think will happen? Will she get married to a man that is 7 years older than her, or what? You can leave your thoughts in reviews!
By the way guys, I am reading all of your reviews, and they mean so much to me, I am having a difficult time right now, and realizing that there are still a lot of reasons to be alive, thank you.
Disclaimer: I only and only own the fricking plot like come on, TMI is all Cassandra Clare's masterpiece, all of you know that!
When it came to the weekend, Clary packed few essentials for her sleepover with Isabelle. She was not a very heavy packer, so all she needed was her big purse.
She didn't know where the Lightwood's house was, so she just asked Isabelle to send her a location.
When she arrived at the Lightwoods home, she was not shocked to see that the house was more like a manor. But considering that they owned a bunch of chain of hotels, it was normal.
Clary went to the door and rang the bell. It sounded like a church bell. Soon the door was opened. But it was not Isabelle as Clary have had expected.
It was an annoyed looking Jace.
His hair was messy, as if he had just gotten up from bed. He was wearing a tight white tee shirt with grey sweatpants. He was looking good, Clary wasn't stupid enough to not admit, but her hate and annoyance for him always won. There was very loud music in the background, and there was Isabelle, jumping around the room like a deer. The music was clearly the thing that was annoying Jace.
Clary tried to get attention of Isabelle, who was to caught in her world to even realize the open door. Jace closed the door behind him. A grin was plastered to his face.
" So is it the part where you announce your undying love for me, and we live happily ever after?" Now he was smirking.
Clary rolled her eyes.
" I am here to see Isabelle." Clary said not even bothering to spare a glance at Jace.
Jace's smirk left its place to a confused look.
" Isabelle, like as in Isabelle Lightwood?"
Clary looked at him with a bored expression.
"No, Isabelle the Second, Queen of England. Yes I am here for Isabelle now if you let me pass…" Clary said trying to pass Jace, who was standing just in front of her, towering over her like always.
Jace leaned down a bit, his breath slowly stirring Clary's hair.
"I don't think my sister is the type of girl that would befriend you, shrimp." As Clary was going to say something back, Isabelle burst through the door with a big smile.
" Oh my God, Clary I saw you from the front windo-" Isabelle broke, with a funny face on, " Wait, am I interrupting something? Were you- Were you two about to kiss?!" Isabelle said, slowly a grin appearing on her face.
" Are you kidding Izzy?" Clary faked gagged. She wouldn't kiss Jace, even if they gave her a million dollars.
" Izzy, huh? She lets only people really close to her call her that. Ok, I am officially confused. Why would you hang out with Shrimp?" Then Jace seemed to remember something. "You are doing that because I told you that your cooking is fatal?" Jace said, seeming to holding back a laughter.
" No, I am not doing this to annoy you! And my food is not fatal! You are just saying that becau-"
" Guys, honestly I would stand here and listen to your argument all day, but I am really tired, and Izzy and I have homework to do." Actually, there was no homework, but Clary said it hoping that Isabelle would get the message. Clary did not want to stay here near Jace.
" Yes, we are going to be busy, so Clary get your cute little ass over here, right now!"
Clary rolled her eyes but obliged nonetheless. They went inside, leaving a very confused Jace.
Clary ended up having so much fun. At first every thing was a bit awkward, but after about 20 minutes, they were laughing their asses of. After some time, Isabelle got on facetime with Simon, and send Clary to get some potato chips from the kitchen drawer.
When Clary arrived the kitchen, she firstly wanted to drink some water. She began searching for glasses, but couldn't find them anywhere.
" Need some help, shrimp?" A voice called from the door. Obviously Jace.
Clary tried to ignore the word shrimp, and have a more of a normal conversation with him.
" Can you tell me where the glasses are? I can't find any." Clary said, still not turning her head to Jace's side.
" They are in the cupboard, besides the sink." Jace said.
"Thanks." It was a word she said to be polite, because she was not really thankful to Jace; she was eventually going to find the glasses by opening every cup board one by one, she would rather do that instead of asking Jace for help. But she didn't exactly want to have an awkward silence with the most annoying person in the world.
" So… How you and your BOYFRIEND doing?" Jace suddenly broke the uncomfortable silence. She spat the word boyfriend as if it was a venomous word.
But he probably hated Simon as much as he hated Clary, now that he was somehow near Clary more; Jace would probably get annoyed by every one that somehow shows affection to Clary, they were Jace's enemies among with Clary herself.
"It is going well…" Clary didn't now really knew how she should have answered this question.
"So you guys are still together."
"Yeah, why not?" Clary asked, confused.
" I mean I thought you two would realize that you guys are not meant for each other after that text." Jace said.
" Text? What text? Wha- Wait. You were the one that send me the text?" Clary asked, this time clearly bewildered.
" Yeah, I was. Since I know you to don't know anything about girlfriend-boyfriend stuff, I thought I would be you guys' coach." Jace said, casually leaning against the marble countertop.
" Ok Jace, I understand that you hate me, but that does not mean that you can break me up with my boyfriend to make me fell miserable." Clary said.
"Hate you?" Jace echoed. "Why would I hate you?" He looked confused.
But it was Clary who felt confused.
"I think you tease people you hate, or am I wrong?" Clary asked in a sarcastic way.
Suddenly Jace took Clary by the waist, lifted her up by her waist easily and put her on the countertop. He really needed to stop doing that. Now Clary could look into his eyes without looking up. But even in this position Jace was taller then her. As Clary was going to tell him to stop making her remindhow skinny she is, Jace began.
"You seriously think I hate you?" Clary gave him a look. This made him chuckle. " Do you really think I would deal with people I hate?"
"Well we can see that from the way you deal with me." Clary said matter-of-factly. Jace's face fell.
"Look-" He was interrupted by a loud voice.
"Clary you have been her-" Isabelle began, and then looked away from her phone, her eyes slightly widening at the sight of Clary and Jace. To be honest, it looked like a very intimate position.
"Wait, I-" She cut off. "Were you two KISSING?" She said, and Clary didn't fail to notice the excitement in her voice.
"Iz, really, him?" Clary pointed at Jace, looking at Isabelle with a disbelieving eyes.
" What? Really me? Girls would kill to date me." Jace smirked.
"Well I wouldn't" Clary answered back. She lightly landed on her feet from the countertop and turned her back on Jace.
"I am going to your room, inform me when you and Si stop talking" She said to Isabelle. She didn't say Simon's full name, they wouldn't want Jace to understand.
She began climbing the stairs. Her new school year wasn't going as she thought it was going. It was more interesting then her other years. But in a way, she liked it.
A/N I am so so so so so so so so sorry for not updating. But the school year has began and it is one of my very important high school years. And to be honest.
