A/N Hi! I am sorry for the last chapter. I know it was ridiculous, but I didn't know how to make it known that Isabelle knows something that Clary is oblivious to (wink Jace likes her wink) but yeah. Now I am planning on making more Clace scenes, well because the whole fanfiction is based on clace. And lets not forget Sizzy! I am really want them to have a more happy ending. But Izzy still needs to take over the hotel with his supposed husband. Soooo… What do you think?
By the way guys, the reviews! I thought perhaps people would judge me for my lack of vocabulary and grammar mistakes, but Jeez, aren't you guys sweet! Thank you so much! I am planning on replying all of them!
Disclaimer: You know the drill, I don't own the TMI or the characters, but the plot that seemingly doesn't go anywhere yet.
Monday.
Oh god. Didn't Clary hate Mondays. Couldn't weeks just have some more days dedicated to relax?
She was thinking this while walking down the hall of the school. Simon was no where to be seen. It was not that rare. At first Clary would think that her innocent friend was probably somewhere feeding her girlfriend goldfish crackers or something, she didn't know what were the romantic things that couples would do. But after spending some time with the said girlfriend herself, Clary didn't think of her best friend as innocent anymore. He and Isabelle was probably in some janitors closet making out.
Clary opened her locker to get her books when two strong arm came behind her, making a cage, and trapping Clary between locker and themselves. At first Clary thought of Simon, but he couldn't be this strong. Then she thought Jace, coming to annoy her, when she turned her head, she saw a face she hated so much.
Sebastian Verlac.
Clary and Sebastian didn't share good memories, especially because Clary had embarrassed him in the middle school, in front of whole audience. Now as Sebastian smirked down at her, Clary gulped, remembering the event that took place in 7th grade play.
Flashback-
Clary was rehearsing her words for Juliet. She was surprised to be choosen as Juliet, but she thought it was because of her acting skills; she couldn't have been choosen for her "beauty" for she was the most hideous face you could find between the 7th grader girls. They all were wearing leather pants and cropped tops, combining them with huge earring. Their hair, would always be smooth, and straight, unlike Clary's frizzy red hear, which was impossible to brush. When Clary came home, saying she wanted to blend in, her mother had shooked her head, telling her that girls had grew early, and that nothing was wrong with her. Now looking back, her mother was right, But Clary's 7th year brain, couldn't accept that she was the normal one.
Rehearsing the lines, Clary's mind slipped to "Romeo". It was a guy named Sebastian Verlac, from 8th grade. He also happened to be in the same class as Jace. He and Sebastian had a cold war between them. Every 7th or 8th grade girls would have crush on either Sebastian or Jace. Clary absolutely loathed both of them. Another reason she didn't felt so… blended in. So just for sake of not being weirdly looked at, she would pretend to have crush on Sebastian, who didn't forget to wink at Clary every time he saw her. Clary would roll her eyes inwardly every time, being confused. Why all this boys pretended to be all grown ups while they are just 14?
Clary sighed. She didn't want to play the main role, she didn't want that much attention. The only thing that comforted her was the fact that she wouldn't have to kiss Sebastian. They would just do an awkward hug, which in Clary's opinion was much better then giving her kiss to someone at 7th grade.
When the play was carried on, the "kissing scene" came. Clary leaned in to hug Sebastian, he moved a bit, his lips barely missing Clary's lips as he kissed Clary's cheek. Clary was frozen. She didn't anticipate this, and she didn't want Sebastian to kiss her. Clearly he had tried, failing miserably. Clary, was still unmoving, And suddenly, without knowing what she was doing, she slapped Sebastian, hard, on the cheek. There were a lot of gasps from 7 and 8th grade students who were looking for some drama. There also were some chuckles from the boys that hated Sebastian.
Clary, still not understanding why she had slapped him, run away from the stage, which she had to accept was a very dramatic exit, but she didn't cry, still she couldn't fully understand what she had done, but it was okay. She was in 7th grade. She wouldn't see this people after finishing school. And everyone would forget. Right?
End of the Flashback-
Yes. Everyone indeed forget. Except the said Romeo. Usually with Simon, Clary would feel braver, knowing that there was someone, and Sebastian wouldn't do anything to her. But even though they were in the middle of a hall, Clary knew no one would make a move to help her even if Sebastian did something.
Then out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone, slowly approaching to them. 'Simon' Clary thought at first. Simon would understand what is going on. But Simon didn't have gold eyes.
Jace did.
A/N Yes. Yes, I know, that was unasked for. But everyone loves Jace being in shining armor, right? And if you think that Sebastian hasn't done anything to Clary yet, and from what Jace is saving her from, well lets say I haven't introduced this Sebastian character fully, yet. But believe me, Clary will need a knight in shining armor, a.k.a Jace! Have an awesome day, unlike me, who is trying to get very good grades to became a surgeon, but failing miserably.
