A/N So I wanted to give a little information about why I began writing fanfic. At the end of this summer, I was heavily bullied for my weight. At the end, I was cutting myself, was suicidal, and had ED. No one, absolutely no one, tried to help me. And one day, I watched this documentary about this movie-writer who used to be suicidal. She had began recovering when she started writing her movie's plot. And there were a lot of pictures of her before and after. At that point I realized how miserable I was, and what I was doing to my body. I began writing short stories, and would show my emotions via my characters. That helped a lot. Not long ago, I discovered an amazing platform named fanficition. Honestly, I would read reviews for every story, and they would be super supportive and would give advices. Since I am too amateur to write a book, I wanted to check out writing through this platform. I haven't been writing here for too long, but the support here has had a great impact on my recovery. I can't describe the feeling I get when I see someone review or follow my story. I know I am not good enough, but this amazing and supportive people just make my day. I finally feel hopeful, and maybe, just maybe there is still hope for me. Thank you.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything but the plot.

Clary was lying on her bed.

Doing absolutely nothing.

She had this feeling you get; when you don't want to do anything, yet you are bored, and want to entertain yourself. But she was to busy in thought to be bored.

She and Simon had decided that it was pointless to continue their fake relationship, since half of the school had heard Jace talk about how Simon had cheated on Clary with Isabelle, and plus there was the fact that Jace had kissed her in the middle of the school, in front of every one.

Jace.

Clary frowned thinking about him. She had never been a big fan of Jace. Unlike other girls in school, Clary never really liked the idea of kissing him, and yet here she was, no more a "virgin lips" as Isabelle called it, thanks to Jace.

Now that Jace kissed her, she didn't know what was going to happen. They really didn't talk about the kiss back at school. But seeing that Jace could never hold on to even one girl and didn't have a long relationship with anyone, everybody would probably think it was Jace's normal daily routine, kissing a girl, dating her for 5-6 hours, and then breaking up. It was normal. But how normal could Jace kissing Clary could be.

Deciding this was too much thinking, Clary turned off her lights, trying to have a dreamless night, without any concern, but failing miserably.

The next day, Clary was walking down the hallway of the school, rather awkwardly, under heavy gazes of others. She regretted thinking that the kiss would be soon forgotten.

The most painful thing was, Isabelle had fever, and Simon being the good boyfriend he is, had stayed with her. But it would mean Clary would be alone, trying to survive a full day without digging a hole in the ground and hiding in it.

She could hear whispers all around her, and suddenly she became more annoyed. Why is this people taking drama so seriously? In Clary's opinion, a high school relationship was not anything serious. There was a 99 percent chance they all would fail, unless they had some kind of relationship similar to Simon and Isabelle's; they had given up so much. Though she doubted that any other high school student fell in love with a nerd, but is also betrayed by her own father and needs to marry someone older then her. But other type of relationships weren't going to work anyways, especially with someone like Jace. So why all of this people still liked to gossip about stupid things like that?

Suddenly she felt someone's arm being thrown over her shoulder. She turned half way around; she didn't need to see the face to see who it was, she already knew who it was.

Jace.

She sighed. But she didn't let her frustration show on her face. Instead she quietly spoke through her teeth.
"What are you doing here Herondale? Didn't you embarrass me enough yesterday?"

Jace smirked at that.

"Embarrass? Any girl would kill to be in your place, Shrimp."

Clary let out a frustrated growl.

"I have said it once before, and I am not going to repeat it again. I. Wouldn't. Kill. To. Be. With. You. Like. Your. Basic. Bitches." Clary said, stressing every single word. But this didn't seem to erase the stupid smirk from his face. His smirk actually turned into a half crooked smile.

" Difficult one. I love a challenge."

"What-" Clary couldn't finish her sentence as the bell rang. They had been loosing time while having conversation. Though Clary couldn't help and think about the last thing Jace said.

After agonizingly long hours of lesson, lunch had already came. Clary could now understand how valuable her best friend was; without him, she didn't know what to do in class.

In cafeteria, she went to the table of some IT nerds; she wasn't going to that class, but Simon, who had some friends from that class, had introduced them to Clary, now she was thankful that she had people to sit with. The group consisted of Mia Roberts, Jordan Kyle, Daniel Robert, who was Mia's brother, and George Lovelace. They were fun to be around, and soon enough Clary almost began forgetting about the drama going on in the school. Almost.

The group was in a heated argument about who would win a duel: Annabeth or Hermione.

"Obviously Hermione guys, she can attack Annabeth with just…" Mia trailed of looking at Clary's back with wide eyes. Clary was almost scared to look behind, and was dreading whatever view was going to welcome her, but she turned anyways.

There stood Kealie and her two proses, who looked almost identical to her, with their blond hair and blue eyes, not to forget about their clothes. They all were wearing the same clothes. They were the exact definition of that 3 mean girls you would see in every high school drama show.

" Well, who do I see?" Kealie began smirking superiorly down at Clary. She couldn't blame her. Clary's looks would never even come near to Kealie's. She didn't have curves, her hair was frizzy and a disgusting color, her eyes were ridiculously bright, and overall she looked like an 11 year old boy. But Kealie could probably make any boy worship to her.

So instead of talking back at her, Clary ignored her. But Kealie didn't seem to be uncomfortable.

"Do you know why Jace kissed you?" Kealie seemed to just want to dive right into the topic.

Clary knew the answer. He was just saving her from trouble from Sebastian, and was probably also interested why his sister was kissing her supposedly boyfriend. She couldn't blame him. Even though Clary wasn't really interested in Kealie's answer, she half-heartedly asked:

"Why?"

Kealie threw her perfect blond hair over her shoulder and grinned triumphantly down at Clary.

"He was trying to make me jealous."

Clary was wasn't really interested in Kealie and Jace's love life, so she just made a little "Huh" sound, clearly bored.

"So I mean," Kealie began obviously annoyed with Clary at this point. "You have no chance with my poor Jacey, he is mi-"

A strong voice, who also seemed half annoyed and half amused, cut through Kealie's voice.

"Why don't you ask it from me Kealie?" Jace came in, his hands in his pockets. He had the atmosphere of someone who was walking in a boulevard and not in a school cafeteria. Only Jace could do that.

And while watching him slowly approach them, Clary realized that half of the cafeteria was staring at them. This people's thirst for drama never goes away does it? Clary thought bitterly.

Noticing Jace, Kealie's face lit up.

"Oh Jacey, it is good you came." Then she added in a lover voice as if not wanting others to hear, but it was loud enough for whole cafeteria to hear. " Last night was fun." She added a wink at that.

"Yes, it certainly was." He smirked. Clary felt like crying; she couldn't believe her first kiss was spent for a person like this. Then Jace added something. " You calling me and begging me to get you back, it was certainly entertaining for me." His smirk got bigger; if it was possibly.

Mia snorted rather loudly at this.

Kailey frowned. "Jac-" She began but Jace cut her through her sentence.

" I don't belong to you Kealie, and you know that. And you know I didn't kiss Clary for that."

Kealie frowned deeper.

"Then why did you kiss her?"

"Cause she is my girlfriend?" Jace said it as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Clary inwardly groaned at the thought of having to fake date someone again.

"You wouldn't date her Jacey, I know you." Kealie said, drawing patterns on his T-shirt.

" Oh, but I can do something I have never done for any of my girlfriends before." Jace said after thinking for a bit.

"And what would that be?"

Jace tool Clary's hand and made her stand up on the bench she previously was sitting.

" This," He said before slamming his lips to Clary's, in front of the whole cafeteria, which meant in front of the whole school.

"Fuck" Clary thought inwardly.

A/N So as you see, Jace knows that he has certain feelings towards Clary, but Clary doesn't think anything about it. So what do you think will happen? Which characters POV do you guys want to read next? Until next time, hare and farewell.
