After receiving their orders from Wesker, Leon and Chris proceeded ahead to the Spencer Mansion.
As they were nearing the mansion though, Leon began to feel apprehensive about the whole mission.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Leon whispered. "Me too," Chris added.
As they approached the mansion, Leon noticed that it was quiet, too quiet and that was never a good sign.
Upon entering the mansion though, they were assailed by a terrible stench. "Oh my God, it smells awful in here!" one of the guys from Leon's team said. "What the hell is that smell? It smells like something died in here," a guy from the other team said. "Quiet down, we are on a mission here so I need you to take this seriously," Wesker said. "Yes, sir!"
The teams had assembled near the stairs, where Wesker ordered them to clear each floor and meet back in an hour.
Leon and Chris were in charge of clearing the first floor.
They begin checking the rooms one by one until they reached the last room. As they entered the room, both men heard a scratching sound coming from inside the closet. Leon slowly opened the door and was met with a huge rat, that scurried away into the hallway.
Leon and Chris each took a moment to catch their breaths before reporting back to Wesker.
An hour later the teams reported to Wesker, that the mansion was empty.
"Now listen up, the next step is for us to go down into the hive by using the central elevators. Once we reach the bottom floor we will then take the train all the way to the entrance of the hive. Does anybody have any questions?" Wesker asked. "No, sir!" everyone shouted. "Okay then, head to the elevators because we're in for the long night."
Leon had a bad feeling about this...
