I raced up the stairs, into my bedroom, shut the door, and locked it.

You may be wondering why I ran and it was because of Percy. When Percy turned around it was the first time I saw his face and my heart began to race. His hair was windswept to one side, he had a very defined face, a lopsided smirk, and gorgeous sea green eyes that seemed to change with his mood.

Then I said to everyone that I was going to bed so I casually walked out of the room and once I was out of sight I ran to my bedroom.

So here I am lying on my bed thinking about Percy and within the minute we were with him he made me act differently. I felt like I should yell and hate him, but his handsome face made me not want to. Then he was also coming on the cruise so I would see him every day.

Suddenly I was snapped out of my thoughts from a sharp knock on the door. I walked over and opened the door to see Thalia standing there with a smirk on her face.

"What do you want, Thalia?" I asked.

Instead of answering, Thalia invited herself in and sat on my bed. I followed her and also sat on my bed.

"Again what do you want, Thalia?" I asked again.

"I want to know why you left so soon after my cousin came in. I know it wasn't because of sleepiness" Thalia responded.

I sighed, I knew Thalia would never fall for that trick. "Well if you must know when I first saw his face I started to feel different unlike how I act usually."

"So from what I am understanding is that you have a crush on my cousin." Thalia practically squealed at the end.

"No, I don't have a crush on him. I don't even know him, but from the way you talk about Nico you seem to have a crush on him." I said with a smirk.

Thalia's cheeks reddened tremendously. "W-what no. I don't have a crush on him, he's too emo."

"Ya, sure." I smiled.

We ended up chatting for an hour longer, but then we had to go to bed so I changed into my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and then crawled in bed.

At around 4:30 in the morning I woke up needing some water so I threw my messy hair in a ponytail and wrapped a blanket around me. Then I left my room and went to the kitchen.

When I got there I found a glass then filled it and was about to head back to my room when a figure emerged from the door. And that figure was Percy.

"Hey." He said simply.

"Hi." I responded and was about to leave until Percy stopped me.

"Um I never got a name and I kind of need to know everyones." Percy said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh my name is Annabeth and why do you need to know everyone's names?" I questioned.

"Well…..I'm kind of the…..captain of the cruise." He said rubbing his neck again which I took as a sign of him being embarrassed.

"Really, but you are my age." I said flabbergasted.

"Yeah I kind of have a talent when it comes to sailing." He said. "Well I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, see you." I responded then left the kitchen.

Well that was interesting. I thought to myself. I hope I can talk to him more often because of his laid back personality. And with that I quickly fell into a deep sleep about a certain boy hovering in my thoughts.
