"Trial and Error! After being accepted in Kamino to endure a struggling task of fighting like clones. Both Wild Force team and Padawan Ahsoka learn underneath the unpredictable unite deemed 'Bad Batch'. While residing on the clone planet to continue their training, across the other side of the galaxy was both Jedi masters Anakin and Obi Wan upon a Republic Cruiser who were right now attacking one of Dooku's droid bases that were left unguarded as Grievous was now in their custody."

Droid Factory-Morning

Right over the planet they were trying to land in order to take out the droid base, was the Republic cruiser that was landing onto the surface of the red planet. Due to how there was no signs of any ships protecting the droid base. It was rather odd that since the death of the Sith lord, things have gone quiet around the droid factories that they've visited. Each one barely defended along of having no security measures to ward off any intruders.

"This is the twelfth droid factory we've checked out, and no reinforcements."

Obi Wan stating as he along with Anakin were checking out the droid factory, which seemed to be completely out of service. Only thing that remained within the factory was droids that haven't been switched on, or even machines operated.

"Sir. We've checked the area, same like the others. No signs of anyone using the factory."

Commander Cody announced as he as well the rest of the troops had done a search across the massive droid factory to see if there was any machines being used or if there was anyone that had came here to shut it done.

"Just keep a watch, a droid factory offline may not pose a threat. But it doesn't mean it won't be rigged with traps."

The Jedi Master warning the clone as he still didn't like the feeling of this, a whole factory suddenly stopping process of making droids doesn't make any sense. Ever sense the death of Palpatine, along possibly the exposure of him working on both sides of the war. The Separatists have gone rather scarce since the sith lord died and Grievous being captured.

"Still getting that feeling the worse is still to come?"

A voice spoke behind him as it was Anakin, due to how he and several other clones did their part in trying to see if they could find anything here. Which sadly even they hit a dead spot, seeing that it was odd that a factory like this would be able to produce several hundred droids. Along a feeling that while this should be a sight to enjoy, it wasn't.

"Indeed. With each droid factory we've tried to destroy, none of them have been either occupied or even defended. As if the operators had been called back or even didn't come at all."

The Jedi responding to this strange event seeing how they haven't seen anyone here for a while, they decided to continue if there was anything different about the factory. Continuing to investigate the area as well see if there were any clues to this disappearance. The two walked down the hallway seeing that the clones had explored around the factory to where there was several rooms that still hadn't been investigated.

"Have you talked to Ahsoka recently?"

Asking Anakin about his padawan along the others that were training on Kamino with the Bad Batch since that after the incident on Mandalore. They needed a different type of training that required strength and endurance. Anakin, staying vigilante made sure to listen to the conversation that possibly Obi Wan was trying to start up.

"No. I didn't want to distract her from the training that she wanted, which I don't know why Ahsoka would train there then at the temple."

Responding back as Skywalker was still confused about what made her decided to train with clones then with the Jedi. Seeing how they were training in military tactics, not lightsaber and force techniques. Obi Wan agreed, however with the changes that was happening. It seemed that it was effecting everyone.

"The force leads many of us on a different path, for you it was to be the chosen one and take down the Sith. Ahsoka? To find find her own way of becoming stronger."

Suggesting to Anakin that this had to be the force guiding both her as well everyone to make decisions that wouldn't make sense. Or even have a proper answer, however Anakin as still concern about his 'destiny' about being the chosen one.

"Yes. But does that mean Dooku and Maul are the ones I have to defeat? Their the only remaining Sith that are still roaming the galaxy. And we can tell there on Evil's list. So this might effect the 'chosen one' idea."

Responding back of how the destiny of the chosen one was now in question because of the Masters intervention with the war. As well the Wild Force who uncovered the true identity of Palpatine, it was a lot to take in and especially of how this could turn out in the end. The bearded Jedi didn't know how to respond since he didn't expect for them to find out about this dark betrayal, the only thing they could do was find Dooku and end the war once and for.

"Even if it does, the Sith will be defeated. And those criminals will be taken away from the galaxy. Which might make things go back to normal, if it ever was."

Sounding relieved since the training that Ahsoka and the others could get better and take care of them at ease. Kenobi could rest as well know that this struggle of the war could end. As the two Jedi's walked through the hallway, the pair stopped as they sensed something.

"Droid?"

"No. This one has a heart beat, and frightened."

Obi Wan stating to Anakin as they felt someone here, staying alert as well slowly gripping their lightsabers not wanting to slice whatever was hiding from them. Checking out the door, Anakin quickly opened the door and rushed in where they activated their weapons and aimed it at whoever was within the room.

"Don't hurt me!"

Shouted a panicked voice which showed someone hiding in fear, looking at the sight it was a Skakoan scientist. Who looked frightened as well covered in dirt since he was hiding by the panels. The two Jedi saw how he didn't have a gun on his waist, meaning he wasn't trying to draw attention.

"We won't, but you can at least explain to us what has happened here. Especially to several other droid factories the Republic has visited."

Kenobi offering a small deal of how they wouldn't harm him in exchange for information. The scientist looked confused at how the Jedi didn't know about what was happening? More or less that since they had captured Grievous.

"It's because of the preparation. Ever since the Separatists learned about Palpatine being that derange Jedi and Evil killing him. The Separatists are either running or trying to avoid him, he's made it clear that no one is safe."

Explaining to the two that while this news had affected the Republic, it also did damage to their side as it made them nervous. Since Sidious was possibly in league with them due to how he had both control of Dooku and his allies.

"Evil is only after Dooku and anyone with power, not going after politicians or leaders."

Anakin stating that while the purple caped human was cruel, he had goals which involved going after bigger threats. However the scientist shook his head at the statement, seeing how apparently Evil wasn't going after the Separatists.

"It's not him. Or actually him, it's one of his members. Those freaks who got those powers, their being lead by.."

Before he could finish, a fast bolt flew right into the window shooting the scientist in the head. Both Jedi turned around surprised at someone who was able to shoot that far, looking over they noticed someone on the cliffs. Before they could act, Kenobi's wristband begun to beep as it was Cody.

"Sir. We found something in the lower levels, several crates opened. As well one of them marked with a golden skull symbol."

Explaining to the Jedi as it had to be from Evil, meaning it was a explosive device. Warning them to evacuate the factory, both Anakin and Obi Wan force jumped out of the room to travel near the cliffs so they could catch the shooter. Landing on the side, they turned seeing several clones rushing right out as well Commander Cody. The pair saw the droid factory exploding as parts of the building begin to come tumbling down, as well becoming nothing but rubble.

"I'm really getting annoyed at leaving a place being blown up with us in it."

Skywalker stated as the two continued to leap across the rocks and right onto the plane to see who killed the scientist. Rushing over to where they saw footprints, they gave chase to where they soon arrived to a ship. Not a large one but that of a starfighter.

"It has to be one person, very skilled in a sniper. And has to be associated with Evil, might be Hoodlum. Or a bounty hunter.."

Kenobi trying to suggest whoever came here personally to check out the droid factory, however sensing something coming at them. Anakin deflected a bolt coming right at Kenobi's back, which the two turn seeing that of a familiar face. Or a set of armor containing a monster within it.

"How about a monster instead?"

Asking his former teacher as it was Durge, a bounty hunter serving Lord Evil. As well the only one who could survive almost any kind of injury due to his unique physiology from his race the Gen'Dai. Holding the rifle that killed the scientist, while looking at them with a emotionless expression.

"The end of the Sith is coming, the death of Dooku is near. War will end with both sides dying, and the masters. Will rule them all."

Durge speaking in a cryptic like manner as the two Jedi merely held up their lightsabers their fighting styles. Looking at Durge with no hesitation of letting him have the chance to attack, rushed right towards Durge. Though they saw how he activated two gauntlet blades on his wrists and defends himself from the Jedi's attack. Moving at the armored bounty hunter, the two continue their assault upon him.

"These defense techniques, Ventress taught you these moves."

Obi Wan questioning the bounty hunter of how while most hunters he had encountered were lucky to dodge his attacks. These movements were coordinated, as well that his footwork looked similar to that of Ventress. As the three continued their fighting, Anakin took the chance and lobbed off Durge's leg leaving him to collapse. Following the same tactic, Obi Wan dispatched Durge's leg as well arms making him unable to move.

"Together!"

Announcing as both Jedi used the force to slam him against the ground. Making sure to keep him pinned on the ground, while Durge could use his strength to escape from the Jedi. He couldn't due to the immense weight that was being pushed down on him, as he couldn't move his stubs due to how the Jedi kept him on the spot.

"Your responsible for countless deaths and destruction of countless cities. As well your boss Evil, so either give up. Or you end up with the victims you've killed on your jobs."

Anakin giving him a ultimatum about any information about what Evil was doing, seeing how they had one of Evil's personal soldiers. Though as they kept him pinned, Durge merely let out a mad laughter seeing how they were in no position for him to answer any questions.

"Dooku's death is near, even if I die. You will see the world burn again."

Warning them as they heard a ticking sound within his chest, which Obi Wan sliced off from Durge armor seeing that the bounty hunter had several thermal detonators within him. Not taking the chance, Anakin pushed him Durge across the side as the explosion sent both Jedi flying in the air and landing on the ground. Groaning from the explosion, the two saw the limbs of Durge crawling to the remains of their host. As well getting onto the ship and getting away from them.

"Thank you for the save. But we may have lost our chance of interrogation."

Kenobi both thanking his former pupil as well informing him about how they may have lost any way to getting him to talk. However, Anakin chuckled seeing how Durge may have given them some details up to them.

"No. We got something from him, there going after Droid Factory's. And possibly anyone from the Separatists."

Responding back of how while they may have lost Durge, they now can see the Masters were going after Dooku. Meaning that the previous droid factories had to be attacked by the masters or pulling out to a much stronger base to protect themselves.

Coruscant-Republic Senate

Having learned from the exploration as well reason why after investigating several droid factories. The Jedi return to the republic world where they went to inform the news to Padme as she was right now handling the business between the senators and any planets that needed information about the sudden change in leading the Republic. Both Anakin and Obi Wan arrived to the senate where they were in the office where the two informed them about what was happening.

"It's obvious that Evil is targeting Dooku. However we do not know what this will accomplish."

Captain Typho stating who was standing by his lady side listening to the conversation about had been going on since this had made the senators here rather invested in this decision to pull back their forces.

"Nothing good, which involves not only the destruction of the Sith. But also another world going in flames, just like Mandalore."

Kenobi summarizing that whatever the Masers were doing could lead up to another planet burning. Which would lead to the galaxy in utter chaos again as well leaving everyone confused about who to trust. They all took a moment of silence of how they would handle this, for right now it would seem that Padme had a idea. A rather risky one that the Jedi didn't know.

"With how things have gone off the rail, I believe we need to do something drastic. As well something that I did so long with Padawan Ahsoka and Sparky."

Insisting on a plan that the two were in the dark, both Jedi got confused about what the queen was talking about. Turning over to Typho, Padme order him to stand guard outside as well make sure no one came in to interrupt them. Closing the blinds and activating the hologram device, it turned on showing a woman.

"Master Jedi, this is a friend of mine from Onderon. Senator Mina Bonteri."

Giving a introduction to her colleague to the men, however both Jedi knew that Onderon was Separatist territory. Meaning that Padme had a friend who was apart of the same government that they had been fighting for years.

"Greetings Master Jedi, I apologize for the shocking expressions you may have. But with what has been going on, there shouldn't be anymore secrets."

Apologizing to them of how while this seemed distrusting for the queen of Naboo to hide this. Seemed to be the appropriate time to speak to the Jedi seeing how from the many stories she has heard, the two seemed to be the only ones she could speak to without going into a argument.

"Senator Bonteri, we accept for apology. As well didn't expect to meet a Separatist who was a friend to Queen Amidala. However. this is a surprise since it's not common for the people of the Republic to know any Separatists."

Obi Wan responding in polite manner since unlike the countless of Separatists that they had meet in the past. She was polite as well didn't seem rude, which was much of a welcoming compared to countless individuals they had met.

"During the previous Separatist meetings. Several of the members have been either pulling back to their own planets as well the droids they had funned to be brought over to their world. With the death of cloaked man that funded Nute Gunray have decided to remain on their home worlds, their afraid of Evil and the masters coming after them."

Explaining to them about how fear of Evil was spreading to the Separatists, as well not taking the chance to come his way. While this seemed like a victory for the Republic, they themselves had problems of their own.

"What of Dooku? Have they question him about his allegiance to him?"

Anakin asking to see if they had realized that Sidious had connections to Dooku, as well learning that all this time they had been duped by the elder Sith. Mina merely shook her head in a sadden tone of how when the reveal was shown across the Separatist council, they begun to argue with one another as well decided to turn against one another.

"It only lead to conflict. Either they wanted to remain loyal to him or stay away due to how the lies had lead to everyone choosing sides. Meanwhile for Dooku, he's remain to himself ever since you had taken General Grievous."

Informing them that it was much more chaotic on their side, seeing how that while the Republic was squabbling about how they should handle the remaining leadership when Palpatine died. The Separatists were basically taking their credits as well the droids they had build to protect their worlds. Padme could tell Mina was having trouble as she looked over to the Jedi to see if there was a way to resolve this.

"While it's not in our traits in politics. But Dooku isn't interested in helping the Separatists, he merely wants the Sith to control. And now that his master is gone, he's on his own. Maybe there's a way we can help one another."

Kenobi suggesting that if there was a way to 'aid' the Separatists due to how there were some that were disbanding. They could offer to assistance to the ones that desire help and to protect their planets. Mina, didn't know if it be possible. However with how things are going as well knew several of them, there could be a possibility.

"While I've heard the honor and servitude that Padme has told me about from you Kenobi. It will take a while to convince the others, however for Dooku. There has been no word from him. He's been isolating himself, if there's a way to locate him it be with Grievous."

Informing them about how the only one that could tell them where Dooku might be located, was the robot general. Who was still in their custody, meaning that they would have to interrogate him if they would get the answers. Nodding to the Separatist woman, the communication cuts off as Padme opens up the blinds. Looking to the queen, both Jedi could see how there was a reason why Ahsoka and Sparky were needed.

"So, I can guess you had my Padawan and the robot dog guide you to Separatist territory to see her. Right?"

Anakin guessing that it be possible for Ahsoka to use her Jedi privileges to let Padme enter the territory. Padme nodded seeing how Mina was the only Separatist that was her friend and wouldn't give any trouble for her. Seeing how this could aid them, Kenobi decided to see if he could get answers from the droid. While he made his way out, Anakin looked at Padme concern about this new position of power she was in.

"Are you sure you don't need me here to keep a eye on things? With how many people are looking at you for questions, in concern about your safety."

Anakin stating that while seeing his wife handling chancellor business was a step up from being a senator from her own planet. Managing the Republic was a whole other level, as well could make her even more of a target for others that might not share her vision.

"Well I've heard about you having your padawan training with the clones on Kamino. So maybe I could have someone around to 'protect' me."

Agreeing with Anakin that while he had to have someone that he was concern for as a teacher and friend be on a planet where he won't be able to watch her. Maybe he could spend time with her here on Coruscant since they were both married, and see personally of what's been going on here while Obi Wan would be getting information on where Dooku was hiding and what he might be doing since Evil who might be tracking him down.
