Izuku's POV

He checked his weapons one more time. A knife was strapped to one thigh. On his belt was one of his earlier utility belts. It had his smoke bombs, his phone, bandages, bow staff, and his newest invention. If he was to use the last one it would have to be on the Zero Pointer.

Lectry as he name it was an electrified putty. Easily placed and overlooked by those who didn't know what it was capable of. A small amount was enough to give a shock equal to that of static. That was only if someone used a nickle sized piece. The more he used the bigger the shock.

So far he had not tested it against people and would wait to do so. First he wanted to see what it would do to the Zero Pointer. A small smile crossed his face at the thought.

Then he went out of the preparation room and headed for his testing area. Much to his annoyance the blue haired boy was also there. He seemed to be intent on making every other examinee his enemy.

A girl with brown hair was standing off to the side. She seemed to be focusing on her own strategy. He could little pads on her finger tips. A five point contact quirk? He wondered what exactly it was.

"Are you going to bother her? You better not its obvious that she is trying to focus."

Izuku turned to look at the blue haired boy and growled lowly. It made his throat ache painfully but he was unable to speak. So he bared his teeth at the other.

"That's unheroic," the boy tried to put him down, "You should use your words instead of acting like an animal."

A purple haired boy snapped, "Back off, man. He obviously doesn't want to actually speak to you."

The blue sniffed but did move away to prepare himself. Then the purple haired one turned back to look at Izuku. Green and violet eyes clashed against each other.

He said, "Sorry I know what it's like to be bullied for no reason."

Izuku signed slowly, 'Thank you. My name is Izuku Midoriya.'

The purple haired boy blinked before he signed with a small smile, 'Nice to meet you. My name is Shinsou Hitoshi.'

Izuku thought for a moment. Then he questioned, 'Do you have a plan for the exam? If you don't have a physical quirk aim for helping other examinees that are in trouble.'

The other boy blinked in surprise. Then there was a sharp nod of acceptance. Before anything else could be said they were interrupted by Present Mic.

"GO!" Came the man's scream.

Neither Izuku nor Shinsou hesitated even for a second. They ran through the gates as the other examinees stood stunned. Izuku found a three pointer which he quickly dispatched by taking out the legs.

Present Mic chided as Izuku lunged at a two pointer, "Those two examinees have the right idea. There are no countdowns in real life. Best learn that now if you wish to be heroes."

Izuku easily took down the two pointer easily and continued on. Around him, he could see other kids going after the robots. To his annoyance he found that they weren't paying attention to those around them. More than once he had to pull unsuspecting kids out of the way. Glares were given to him but he continued on.

Being a vigilante he had more skills than the average examinee. He kept his emotions in check. Fear was not an easy quirk to keep in check. The last thing he wanted was to have fear incase every student. Likely that would have the heroes and police coming down upon him.

Even though he agreed to meet with Tsukauchi, Chief of Police Tsuragamae, and Eraserhead on neutral grounds. They agreed on the location, a small abandoned building on the north side. It was halfway between Izuku's patrol route and the police station. He would rather them not know who he was.

So he moved through the grounds felling the robots as he went. Time was passing quickly and sweat poured down his face. There wasn't much time left but he was sure he had gained enough points. By his count he had 67 points not including any rescue points he earned.

He paused briefly to catch his breath and wipe the sweat onto his shirt. Other examinees continued fighting. He saw the blue haired boy rush past him for the newest robot. There was a disgusted look sent to Izuku but he ignored it.

Then he felt the ground quake and the building in front of him exploded outward. It was five stories tall and dark green in color. Everyone who saw it froze in fear at the sight.

The hold that Izuku had on his emotions snapped. He knew that his quirk was effecting those around him as a shiver went through everyone. Trying to shake off his emotions was impossible. His quirk was heightening everyone's fear.

Their Zero Pointer immediately focused on the examinees. Around him, examinees ran away from the Zero Pointer. Grabbing Lectry from his utility belt and prepared to use it.

A fearful voice cried out, "Help! Somebody please help me! My leg is stuck under rubble!"

The blue haired examinee only hesitated for a moment before running away too. It could have just been influence from his quirk. However Izuku knew people could push through their fear.

:Hypocrite,: viciously thought Izuku as he rushed towards the Zero Pointer. He knew the weak points of the robot based on the others he had destroyed. First thing he had to do was disable its movements. Lectry on the legs would disable its movements. From there he would be able to shut it down by hacking into it with his phone.

Placing Lectry on the ankles joints and lower part of the legs he took large steps back. Electricity ran up along the robot the putty like substance connecting the lines. It legs locked frozen and unable to move.

Izuku pulled his phone and began to hack into the robots. There was no way that the teachers would leave the robots to their own devices. There had to be an emergency shut off. Just as there had to be cameras to find rescue points.

It only took a few seconds for him to get through firewall. A moment later had him activating the emergency signal. All the robots in the grounds turned off. The lights showing them on immediately turned off. It stayed exactly where it had been when it turned off.

Then he turned around his green eyes searching for the trapped girl. A large boulder lay on the girl's leg and she was trying to push it off. Izuku moved swiftly closer to her his eyes searching for threats.

Once he stood in front of her drew out his bo staff and stuck it between the girl's leg and the boulder. Putting all of his strength behind it, he pushed. Together with the girl he pushed it off her leg.

A voice called out loudly, "And that is it! The exam is over! If you're injured stay where you are. Our nurse will come to you and heal you right up. Everyone else make your way back to the entrance."

That was not happening. Leaving behind the girl without checking her over. It went against everything he stood for as a vigilante. He dropped down to his knees to check the leg. Skin around the wound was broken and he could see the bone. Compound fracture then. Looking around he couldn't find anything to make a makeshift splint with. Bandages were only going to help so much.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see her shiver, her eyes glazed. Shit! She was going into shock. It shouldn't have surprised him. The wound was enough to send anyone into shock.

Unzipping the sweatshirt he pushed her so that she lay on the ground. Shrugging it off he laid over her. It would reveal his mark and scars across his neck but better than allowing her to go into shock.

From there he pulled out his bandages and worked on lightly wrapping the wound. It wouldn't do much more than keep more bacteria out of the wound. Pained eyes met his own but she was alert.

The sound of footsteps drew his attention. Izuku turned his head to see a short grey haired woman coming towards them. In her hand was a cane. The Youthful Heroine Recovery Girl. Eyes widened in realization and he tilted his chin down. This hid the scar across his throat from the woman. Thankfully he was wearing a long sleeve shirt and it

She greeted her eyes going between Izuku and the brown haired girl, "You kids are getting more and more reckless every year. Are you injured young man?"

Izuku shook his head but still kept his chin down. For a moment she looked at him with suspicious eyes. Then they turned to the girl and made her way over.

Recovery Girl kissed the examinee's head and said, "There that will allow me to move you to the infirmary. Give the young man his jacket back so he can go home," then to Izuku, "Good work on keeping the wound clean young man. You were smart enough not to move her. Well done."

Izuku bowed his head and retrieved his sweatshirt. Once it was back on he ensured it covered his scars then left heading back towards the entrance.

Aizawa's POV

Watching the entrance exams for the heroics class was something ritual for him. He did it every year to see his potential students. One part was to see if there was anything that were chosen that had no potential.

Potential was what so many of his students lacked. If allowed to continue the way they were they would die their first year as heroes. So he gave them a much-needed reality check. Some came back with an attitude change and were better for it. Most did not they went off to do other things.

The first person that caught his attention was a green haired boy. His curiosity was peaked as he saw the boy dispatch the robots with ease. In his hand was a knife that looked well made and taken care of.

Hizashi said suddenly, "Examimee 3289 seems to be skilled with that knife. Is that allowed?"

Shouta only listened with half an ear as it wasn't unusual. If someone put in the paperwork anyone could bring support items. Another person caught his eyes. A purple haired boy was trying to get rescue points. Apparently the kid had figured out the point system.

The kid wasn't doing bad but it might not be enough. Well if he was willing to put in the work they would see him during the Sports Festival. There was always the chance a General Education to move to Heroics.

Nezu answered drawing him away from the purple haired boy, "Ah yes, Examimee 3289, Midoriya Izuku . He made a request to allow him to bring in a knife, a utility belt with smoke bombs and bandages, a cellphone, and there is something called Lectry. I'm not sure what that means exactly but maybe we will see."

The cameras panned around to other students. There were a few that were interesting. One in particular was an explosive blond. He was right on the heels of Midoriya in terms of villain points. To Shouta's annoyance, he didnt pay any mind to those around him. More than once someone had nearly been crushed by falling debris due to his lack of awareness.

Another who was doing fairly well was an electric quirk user. His quirk allowed him to indiscriminately shoot electricity. If he made it into the hero course he would need to learn to direct it. Otherwise, he would injure those around him.

"Time for the Zero Pointer," announced an all too happy Nezu.

Shouta focused immediately upon Midoriya's section. When the zero pointers arrived most of the children began running in the opposite direction. Disappointing but not surprising. They didnt see the value in it. Or the fact someone was almost always trapped in the rubble.

Midoriya for his part was running straight at the robot. It looked like the greenette was placing items on the robot's legs. What in the world?

Then blue electricity ran up part of its legs forcing it to stay at a standstill. Then the boy seemed to pause and pull out his phone. Why? Then to everyone's surprise all the robots in the exam area stopped.

Nezu typed at the computer furiously then exclaimed, "He hacked my robots! He hacked them and hit the kill switch for all of them."

Well isn't that interesting. It wasn't every day that someone was able to get through Nezu's firewall.

Shouta questioned, "Does he have a technology manipulation quirk?"

"Izuku Midoriya is quirkless," replied the rat.

All they could do was blink him. This kid with more than 60 villain quirks was quirkless. That was most unusual.

Hizashi called out loudly, "And that is it! The exam is over! If you're injured stay where you are. Our nurse will come to you and heal you right up. Everyone else make your way back to the entrance."
