Izuku's POV

In his full vigilante gear he waited for Tsukauchi to arrive. Inside his hoodie was all the information he could compile on Stain. Conveniently he left out the part where Stain was in town for him. If the detective knew he wouldn't let Izuku leave. Or if he did he would use him as bait. Even with their agreement Izuku wasn't 100% sure he could trust them.

Izuku was sure if it came down to it the District would help him. Unlike the rest of the city the Red Light District knew he was more than just an urban legend. While they haven't physically seen him they have seen the aftermath of a fight with him. Izuku did not attack those within the district. For the most part they just did what was necessary to survive. Nothing like burglarizing, assault or murder.

A horrible thought crossed his mind. Could it have been one of them who alerted Stain to the fact he was not just a myth? That he was in fact very real even if he had disappeared for a year?

Word would have gotten around that he was back. Even with those he took down were in jail. It wasnt hard to get information out of the jail and to street contacts. If so, someone was going to get a rude awakening. He, Fear did not take kindly to threats.

The sound of a rumbling engine drew his attention. Below him in the street was a nondescript four door sedan. The driver's side door opened out walked a man. a tall man with short, black hair and somewhat rectangular black eyes. As a member of the police force, he wore uniform, which of his signature tan overcoat and matching hat, underneath which he wears a black suit, a green tie at his neck with matching slacks, and dress shoes.

Tsukauchi Naomasa, alias True Man known across the police force and back alleys as the one with the truth quirk. No one knew the exact specifications of his quirk. Just that it was powerful and to not be underestimated.

Izuku watched looking for any signs of deception. If they broke his trust he would run and there would be no more communications between them. That would hurt the police and heroes more than it would hurt him. After all he could hack to get the information he needed.

To his surprise there was nothing. No signs that someone had followed Tsukauchi. Or that there were people waiting in the car. Their agreement so far was being held true to.

Alone the detective entered and Izuku turned away from the window to the edge of the landing. He was standing on a landing overlooking the warehouse. Hidden in shadows he wouldn't be seen by even the most observant.

Izuku watched Tsukauchi warily as the man searched the room. He did a full sweep checking all of the emtrances and exits. Unlike most people including some heroes he did in fact look up. Good that made him smarter than 90% of the population.

Instead of waiting for the man to finish his checks he dropped down from his perch. Tsukauchi jumped back surprise but he made no move to draw his weapon. Both vigilante and detective stared at each other warily.

Then Tsukauchi held out a hand as he said, "It's good to see you again. Have you been well?"

Izuku signed, 'As well as I can be. Glad to see you kept true to your word.'

"Sometimes our word is the only thing we have," replied Tsukauchi cautiously.

He knew that he was on thin ice with Izuku. He didn't trust easily and constantly tested those he did not 100% trust. Tsukauchi's eyes trailed to the folder that he pulled out of his jacket. Carefully he offered it to the other.

Tsukauchi took the file and Izuku stepped back. It took a few minutes for the man to read through it. He could see the blood drain from his face as he read.

Then he said, "Fear this file will save lives. Thank you."

Izuku signed, 'It's no issue, detective. I'll let you know if I find anything else.'

Forcefully he had to remind himself that trust was a two way street. He was proving himself to be true to his word just as much as Tsukauchi was. Izuku was about to leave when there was a sort of ping in his mind. It was a connection between him and several others.

A familiar timbre voice resonated within his and if the jolt Tsukauchi gave was any indication he heard it too, "I am the Circle."

Izuku thought back accepting the connection, :The Circle is me.:

He felt it snap firmly into place linking him with Noise. Noise like Izuku was a vigilante who patrolled the poorer districts throughout multiple cities. They typically avoid each other's routes so as to cover more ground. Unlike most vigilantes he didn't stay to one city. Instead chose to move between whoever needed him the most.

Several others gave the confirmation phrase including Tsukauchi. Izuku could feel the strain that it was taking for Noise to hold a connection to this many people. What in the world had happened to cause him to contact fellow vigilantes and heroes in a connection?

Pained Noise said, "I'm sorry for requesting so many connections at one time but it couldn't be helped. There is an emergency at my location. I have the Underground Hero Kage and he is a little indisposed at the moment."

Izuku switched to serious mode immediately his eyes turned cold, :What's happening? Any injuries on yourself or civilians?:

There were a few questions from the others wonder who he was. Tsukauchi gave him an odd look but said nothing through the connection or out loud.

"No civilian injuries," came the response to his question but ignoring the others. Izuku frowned that didn't answer all of his questions and Noise knew it.

An image of a backalley in-between two districts appeared in their minds. It would take a few minutes but they should be able to make it. Several voices, one that he recognized as Eraserhead, confirmed they were on their way. Izuku would head that way as well if only to make sure everyone got away.

Tsukauchi asked as he moved again, "You're going? What if Stain is still there?"

Izuku raised an eyebrow. He expected the vigilante to leave one of his own behind? Vigilantes that lasted more than a few weeks were a tight knit community. They would never abandon each other. No matter what anyone thought.

Tsukauchi sighed knowing better than to argue, "Be careful. While we have put the word out there is still a chance not everyone has learned that you're on the legal side of things now."

Izuku grinned despite the other being unable to see it as he signed, 'I'll think of it as training. Just like how Eraserhead still sends his capture scarf after me in lieu of a greeting.'

"Wait, what?"

But Izuku was already gone.
