Taking two steps at a time, Wells rushed all the way up and climbed back up to land on dirt and grass. He whirled around in a circle, wishing he brought a flashlight with him. Night has fallen.

Wells placed the gun on his shoulder, like Bellamy taught him. He doesn't dare shout out Bellamy's name. There could be grounders around. There's a slight pathway where the grass is bent down as if it had been stepped on. He quickly follow it back to the trees. All he needs to about guns right now is that he has to pull the trigger.

One foot through the other, he carries himself through the trees, searching for more signs of Bellamy. Knowing him, he probably wouldn't have gone too far. But if he's been eating those nuts, who knows what he's hullucinating. He stops behind the trees when he sees Bellamy, who was running from from nothing. He narrowed his eyes in confusion, that guy was definitely hullucinating, and by the looks of it, it definitely wasn't a good one. He moves from behind the tree just as he feels a thud at the side of his head. His vision blurs as he falls to the ground.

Bellamy was circled by hundreds of people snarling at him, calling him a murderer. Bellamy was sweating. He tried to run away but was surrounded. He was freaking out.

Bellamy tripped and fell backwards into a sitting position. He backed away until he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned his head around and sees Jaha staring down at him.

He turned his whole body around and sat on his knees. "Please." He cried. "Kill me. Kill me!" Jaha said nothing. Bellamy then pulled a pistol from his back pocket. He couldn't remember the last time he had that there. but it didn't matter. Bellamy sets the gun on his palms and puts forward towards Jaha.

"I deserve it".

In response, Jaha slapped Bellamy across from his face, causing him fall backwards on his stomach. He gets up on his hands and knees.

"I can't fight anymore!" He grunts out a sob.

"Don't you know?" Jaha said. "Life is a fight." He kicks Bellamy In the stomach across the ground. Bellamy gets back up on his hands and knees, to tired to to tired to get up.

"What am I supposed to do?" He murmurs. Jaha circles around Bellamy. "Live, breathe, suffer." He kicks Bellamy's hand, causing him to collapse to the ground, too weak to get up.

"You owe them that." Jaha spreads his arms out, showing the people around them. "You want the peace of death."

He then kneels down next to Bellamy. "You're gonna have to earn it." Bellamy looks at him before Jaha quickly stands and kicks Bellamy In the stomach again, he grunts in pain.

Jaha looks at him in disappointment. "Fight back!" Bellamy gets back on his knees as Jaha punches him In the face, knocking him back down. Jaha kneels down and lifts Bellamy's head up by pulling his hair.

Jaha stares down at him. "Do you think you deserve to be free of your pain? That you deserve that gift?" Jaha asked. "Because you're gonna get it." After Jaha throws one more uppercut to Bellamy's chin, sending him backwards on his back, he hears a gun cocks.

Jaha fades away and Bellamy is brought back to reality. He is met with the barrel of a gun right in his face. "Nothing personal." Dax says.

Wells slowly opens his eyes before he groans as he slowly gets up to his hands and knees, trying to remember what happened. How long has He been out? He was trying to find Bellamy in woods when saw him having a hullucination just he gets hit at the side of his head. He didn't know why he did it. What if he had gotten to Bellamy or Clarke already? He quickly grabbed his gun and got up and ran through the woods to find Bellamy.

He then finds Bellamy laying on the ground with pointing the gun at him. He's assuming that's the guy who knocked him out.

"Nothing personal." Dax says.

The gun clicked as it fired a dud round, and Bellamy reached to the ground, slapping his hand on the pistol and holding it up empty. He looked at his hand in confusion. He started to remember. The gun, last time he had it was when he almost got eaten by the panther there first few days in the ground as Wells shot it a couple times, saving his life but also wasting his bullets. He was upset at him for that. But it was either the gun, or him. Wells was going the interfere before Clarke came out of nowhere.

"Put it down Dax," Clarke ordered sternly, aiming her gun at his center mass. She certainly hadn't expected her first day holding a gun to involve shooting someone. Clarke hoped she wouldn't have to.

Wells crept closer to the three of them with his rifle pointed at Dax's skull. He didn't want to kill him, but the look in his eyes sent goosebumps down his spine. That was the look of a killer. He was only a few feet away from Clarke. None of them had spotted him yet.

Dax wheeled around looking at her. Bellamy too looked to her in surprise.

"Should've stayed down there Clarke," Dax advised his own rifle aimed at her center mass. "I tried not to kill you, but here you are, and Shumway said no witnesses."

"What is he talking about?" Clarke asked directing her question to Bellamy.

"Shumway set it up," Bellamy explained from his back on the dirt. "He gave me the gun to shoot the Chancellor."

"Walk away now and I won't kill you," Dax offered a deal to Clarke.

"Put it down," Clarke ordered carefully pronouncing each word.

Wells' left foot steps backwards and he feels a twig roll beneath his foot. He silently curse himself when it broke under the pressure. Dax's gun dart towards the tree Wells was hiding in and back to Clarke. Wells steps away from the tree with his gun aimed at Dax still. "Put the gun down Dax."

"Nice of you to join us Wells. Although I should've killed like I should've killed Clarke." Dax keeps his eyes on both them.

"I'll give you the same offer. Walk away and I wont kill you."

"Not a chance." Wells' voice stays low to avoid showing how worried he actually was about this situation. Wells never would have seen himself holding a gun, let alone pointing it at someone else from Camp.

"Your choice," Dax said ominously.

Clarke stared through the sights aiming directly at Dax. She pulled the trigger. Click. The bullet was a dud. Clarke's eyes widened as she realized what just happened. Hoping for the best, Wells pulls his finger back on the trigger. Wells swore under his breath at the clicking noise. Clarke and Wells quickly jumped away from each other and hid behind separate trees as Dax's own rifle fired.

"No!" Bellamy roared as he threw himself at Dax, knocking him down and landing on top of him. He threw a couple punches In before Dax knocked Bellamy off him and moved to straddle atop the older man throwing punches to his face as Clarke desperately tried to clear the jam. Dax grabbed the rifle off the ground, using it to club Bellamy over the head with. Bellamy spotted an ejected bullet on the ground. But before Bellamy could do anything Dax started to strangle him with his rifle.

Without thinking, Wells toss his gun on the ground and pushed himself around from the tree.

"Get the hell off him!" Clarke shouted preparing to use her own gun to beat Dax with as Dax shoves his rifle against Clarke's stomach.

Wells threw himself at Dax knocked him down as two two boys began to roll in the dirt. As the two were fighting, Bellamy stretched over for the gun Clarke had dropped. Wells were punching Dax just as he tried to grabbed Dax's rifle before Dax knocked him in the face and rolled over him as he grabbed the rifle to club Wells over the head with as Wells tried to grab it from his hands as Dax snatched it away and knocked Wells with the back of the gun, trying to hold it up against Wells' chest and neck. Bellamy used all of his strength to reload the rifle. After the second try, he hears the click. He rolls over on his bottom and hold the rifle in his hands again. Shutting one eye, he peers through the scope as he sees Dax strangling Wells with his gun as Wells was going to pass out as he slowly giving up. Hesitantly, he presses down on the trigger.

The bullet soars through the air and flies into Dax's neck. He gasped for air as he collapsed on the ground away from Wells, blood pouring from his mouth. He laid down in between Wells and Bellamy, then died on the spot.

Finally, sweet air entered Clarke's lungs. She gasped again and again, regaining her capacity to breathe normally. Wells also panted heavily, though not just because he couldn't breathe, but because he had barely survived the encounter. Bellamy laid his back on the ground and drop the gun as he exhaled hardly.

Clarke laid back against the tree she had used as a shield earlier while Bellamy crawled over to her side. In his eyes was something she didn't expect to see from Bellamy, genuine fear. Clarke expected that this same look was reflected in her own eyes. They had come so close to death then, but they had made it through.

"You're ok," Clarke assured Bellamy, though she suspected on some level that she was assuring herself more.

"No," Bellamy rasped. "I'm not." He too dropped heavily against the tree.

They were silent for a moment, only their breaths stirred the air around them.

"My mother…" Bellamy started. "If she knew what I've done, who I am," he stopped for a moment.

Clarke held her attention firmly on Bellamy's face as the emotions washed over him. She wasn't really sure what to say to him.

"She raised me to be better, to be good…" Bellamy continued voice breaking.

"Bellamy," Clarke breathed.

"All I do is hurt people," Bellamy said starting to tear up. "I'm a monster."

Those words sent chills down Wells spine. He really felt bad for Bellamy. He understood why Bellamy wants to leave. But he knows he can't do that. They need him. He needs him. Wells got up to his knees and stood up before he walked over to Bellamy, who was at the verge of tears.

He crouched down and put his hand on his shoulder. Bellamy's eyes meets Wells'. They both had several cuts on their face from being punched by Dax.

"Hey," He said. "You saved my life today. You may be a total ass half, maybe most of the time, but I need you. We all need you." Wells continued insisting, trying to bring Bellamy back to reality, "None of us would have survived this place if it wasn't for you. You want forgiveness, then, I'll give it to you. You're forgiven okay?" His voice grew increasingly rapid and desperate. Bellamy's eyes widened at that. He would've never thought that Wells would finally forgive him for shooting his father.

"But you can't run Bellamy. You have to come back with us. You have to face it." Clarke intervened.

"Like you faced you mom?" Bellamy scoffed.

Clarke looked away guiltily. She knew he was right, but he didn't have to bring that up now.

"You're right," Clarke said finally. She hadn't wanted to admit it, but they were in the same situation, only Bellamy's was potentially life threatening and more serious. "I don't want to face my mom," She admitted. "I don't want to face any of it." She looked to Bellamy who was slowly turning his head back to meet her own eyes. "All I think about every day is how we're going to keep everyone alive, but we don't have a choice."

Clarke met Bellamy's eyes, but once again he turned away. Bellamy sniffed and shook his head in denial.

"Jaha will kill me when he comes down," Bellamy said sure of himself.

"We'll figure something out," Wells said trying to instill hope in the broken man in front of him.

"Can we figure it out later?" Bellamy asked looking away to the night sky above them.

Wells smirked as he laid down on the tree beside Bellamy, closing his eyes.

"Whenever you're ready," Clarke responded.

As they got back to camp they heard campers shouting and panicking about the grounder escaping and what would happen if they came back.

"Let the grounders come." Bellamy spoke up walking into the middle of the crowd alongside Clarke and Wells, silencing the whole camp. "We've been afraid of them for far too long, and why?"

"Because of their knives and spears. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of being afraid." Bellamy said boldly as he glanced at Clarke and nodded as the trio tossed down packs that contained rifles. Everyone started to murmured around each other happily as they stared at the rifles, knowing they got something to defend themselves with.

"These are weapons ok, not toys. And we have to be prepared to give them up to the guard when the dropships comes." but until then, they're gonna help keep us safe."

"And there's plenty more where these came from." Bellamy tells the crowd. "Tomorrow we start training and if the grounders come, we're gonna be ready to fight."

The fire was warm around his face. The whole camp was celebrating for the fact that they have guns on they're side. Monty's moonshine has been passed around already. Some people didn't want to drink because of what they experienced from the nuts. Wells needed to sit. After everything that happened today. He needed take a breather. He felt someone took a seat on the log next to him.

"Today's been crazy." She said. Wells then looked to see who it was, it was Raven, which was kinda weird since they've never really talked since she landed on the ground. Might as start now while she's here. "Yeah." He agreed.

"Mind telling me what happened while we were gone?" Wells asked.

"Well for starters." Raven started, looking around the camp. "Those nuts Monty and Jasper had? They were fucked up."

"Well, I know that." Wells responded. Making Raven chuckle a bit. "Was happening to us too. Except me."

"Same with me." Raven said.

"Anything else?" Wells asked.

"Nah, that was pretty much it." Raven answered. Wells nodded before he looked at Raven, who was staring at the fire with a sad look on her face.

"Hey," Wells put comforting hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." She answered, who wipes her face and sniffs, although she obviously wasn't.

"It's just," She started. "Me and Finn."

Finn. He'd forgotten about the relationship between him, Clarke, and Raven. He wanted to stay out of it, but He just felt sorry for her. How Raven risked her life for someone she loved only to find out he cheated on her. Just totally forgotten she ever existed. Finn didn't even believe for a second she alive the moment they got to the ground. The moment they landed on the ground, Finn was already flirting for another girl. And that was his friend, Clarke, who felt extremely guilty for sleeping with Finn after finding out he already had a girlfriend, although it wasn't even her fault. Still, he can't imagine ever doing that to someone he cared about, no matter how many miles away they are.

"We had sex." She finally said. "I asked him "do you love me?". He told me "always". But it didn't feel like he did. It's like he still has feelings for Clarke. He's the only family I got and It's like doesn't like me at all anymore." She said, who was at the verge of tears. She quickly snapped out it and apologized. "I- I'm sorry. I know this isn't any of your business. It's just-,"

"No, no, it's alright, I don't mind." He quickly said. Raven nodded her head and looked back at the fire. Wells got up from the log and grabbed a blanket that they had found from the depot and wrapped it around her and sat back down beside her.

"You didn't have to do that." She said.

"But I did." Wells said. "You were freezing"

"Well, thanks I guess."

"Your welcome."

Wells took a glance at Raven, who was looking at the people around her, wanting to get Finn off her mind right now. Wells wanted to put on comfort touch on her shoulder. To tell her that she wasn't alone. "Hey." He said, grabbing Raven's attention. "At least we all got each other, am I right?" He said, Making Raven smile. "Yeah, I guess we do."

"Mr. Blake."Jaha started coldly, his upper body showed up on the screen Raven had build up. Bellamy held up the head piece between Him and Clarke. There were only two of them. And Wells had the other."I've wanted to talk to you for some time now." the screen was flickering from the weak signal. the signal may be weak but it was still strong enough to have contact with the Ark.

"Before you do, I'd like to say a few words." Clarke cut him off with a look of determination. Jaha nods his head. "Clarke." "You sent us down here to die." Clarke said. "But miraculously, most of us are still alive."

Wells hold up a hand towards Clarke that is low enough to keep Jaha from seeing. "What Clarke is trying to say is that, In large part that is because of Bellamy." Wells siad nodding his head towards Bellamy. "He's one of us, he committed a crime before going down to Earth and you said that by going down here, our crimes would be forgiven. He deserves the same treatment. He's one of us and deserves to be pardoned" Wells continued. "Just like the rest of us."

He knew everything he was saying was against how he felt about Bellamy the first day they landed but he didn't care. It was true. Bellamy was one of them now, and nothing was gonna change that.

"Son, I appreciate your point of view but it's not that simple–"

"It is." Bellamy chimed in "If you wanna know who on The Ark wants you dead."

Jaha stared at the screen in surprise for a few moments before nodding to himself. Clarke and Bellamy shared a nervous glance before looking back at the screen.

Jaha leaned towards the screen. "Bellamy Blake, you're pardoned for your crimes." Bellamy tried to hide the big grin on his face at the new, making Wells and Clarke smile also. "Now, tell me who gave you the gun."

"It was Shumway sir." Bellamy answered.

Jaha nods before he hangs up the call.

They had gotten out out the tent after the call. Clarke went to go check Finn's wound as Wells on the other hand, went to go get some rest in his tent they had build up. Although it felt good having his finally pardoning Bellamy, it has a been a long day, and it was time for some rest. "I guess I own you on huh, Chancellor?" He turns around and sees Bellamy walking towards him with that big smirk on his face.

"What do you mean?" Wells ask confused.

"Gotta admit." Bellamy said. I wrong about you."

"What are you saying?" Wells asked.

"I'm saying you're not like you're father. You're better than him." He took a step closer. "What he did up the Ark wasn't you're fault. That belongs solely with the council and Chancellor.Just because you share a name doesn't mean you share his ideologies."

"Well, you're not not so bad yourself." Wells said with a smile.

"I guess we're even huh?" Bellamy smiled back.

"Yeah, yeah I guess we are." He answered.

To be continued

Thank you. Until next time.
