Wells' eyes fluttered open. He groaned as he lifted himself on his shoulders, scanning the area. He wiped his mouth, which was bleeding. Great. He thought. Now I'm infected. He glanced over to the bridge, which was destroyed. He closed his eyes, trying to remember what happened. He spotted the rifle beside his foot, he was starting to put the pieces together. He scanned the area, trying to look for more clues, evidence. He then spotted the unconscious Raven on the ground not too far away from him. And then, it hit him.

He caught Raven sneaking out of camp, trying to plant the bomb herself, which was a stupid thing if you ask him. He decided to go after, trying to get her back to the camp and plant it himself before it was to late. But of course, she refuses. It wasn't too long until she had gotten infected. After Raven had gotten done planting the bomb, Wells had decided to take her spot. He couldn't risk the chances of her dying. Raven was pleading with him not to do it, but he didn't listen. He sat her down on a nearby tree a couple feet away, he leaned down on his stomach, aimed the rifle at the bomb, and pulled the trigger as an explosion took place.

Oh shit. He thought as panic started to flow in his body. He stumbled to his feet over towards Raven, almost tripping over. He felt very light-headed, like he couldn't walk any further. He very pale. He dropped down on his knees as he checked her pulse at the neck. Her heart still beat, though it was weaker than it normally would be. He sighed of relief, a smile crept up on his face. At least she was alive. It worked, it actually worked. They destroyed the bridge, giving them more time to prepare themselves against the grounders. They didn't think they could do it, but they did. But they couldn't celebrate now, they just needed to get back to dropship. He tried to shook Raven awake. Her skin was pale like Wells, and the blood were stained on her face. After few minutes he felt her stirring towards him.

He stared at her face as her eyes fluttered open. She groaned.

"Wells?" She slurred weakly.

"Hey" He smiled, holding her body in my arms. "Don't worry. I got you."

Raven hummed, unable to really say anything meaningful right now. He breathed a sigh of relief. Everything was going to be okay.

"Wells! Raven!" He heard a familiar voice up ahead in the forest. He tossed Raven's arm over his neck, holding on to her waist with his left arm. His right shoulder was not looking to well. He needed to get it checked out before it gets any worse. But that didn't matter, he just needed to get Raven safe and sound. He walked back towards the camp's direction as he saw two people running towards him. The further he walked, the more he recognized their familiar faces.

Jasper and Finn.

"Holy shit." Finn sweared as he stared at Wells and Raven wide eyed, they looked like shit.

"Wells, you look you're gonna pass out." Jasper pointed out, stepping towards Wells.

"No, I'm fine," Wells resist. "Here, take her." Finn grabbed Raven and tossed her arm over his shoulder as he nodded at Jasper. "Help Wells."

"Don't" He warned. "You'll get sick."

Jasper didn't listen as he supported Wells with a shoulder under his arm.

"That's a risk I'm gonna have to take." Jasper said, nodding towards Finn, who nods back.

"Alright," He said. "Let's get moving."

A few hours later after Wells had blew up the bridge, Clarke were in the dropship dragging a wet cloth around Wells' forehead, who were resting on a hammock.

"Okay." Clarke moved the cloth from his head. "The virus should coming down. You should be better by the morning. But until then, you should get some rest."

"Thanks." Wells spoke for the first time. His voice was hoarse and gravelly.

"You can thank me by not doing that ever again," Clarke berated.

Wells sighed as he looked towards Raven, who were on the other side of the dropship. She was on a hammock, still resting. Her skin was still pale, but not as pale as she was before. She was getting better, and that was a good thing.

"Jasper said that you ran after Raven towards the bridge. And to keep her from getting hurt, you decided to blow up the bridge instead, to protect her." Clarke said, glancing at Raven also, then back at Wells. "That true?"

"Yeah," Wells answered not taking his eyes off Raven.

Clarke nodded in understanding. "You have feelings for her?"

"I don't know." Wells closed his eyes for a brief second before opening them again and leaning his back on the hammock. "Does it matter?"

Clarke snorted as she nodded her head understanding, once again before she stood up.

"Like I said, you should be feeling better by the morning. But for now, you should get some rest." She told him before walking towards the exit.

"Clarke?" Wells stopped her by calling her name out. He leaned his head up. She turned towards him.

"Thank you." He said with a smile. He knew he already said that, but he wanted her to know he mean it.

"Just.." Clarke searched for the right words. "Try not to do anything like that again, ok? You nearly gave me a heart attack."

Wells made a low chuckle under his voice before leaning back on the hammock. "Noted."

Raven saw the world around her slowly come into focus. The blurry walls of the dropship became clearer as she opened her eyes. Why was she here?

Tipping her head upwards, she saw people lying around on the ground with dirty faces. Maynard's back just left the dropship with a long black cloak thrown over his shoulder. Finn stood in front of her, watching her.

Then it all came back, the disease, the bomb, taking the bomb to the bridge alone, then passing out, and finally a face lingering over her, telling he everything was going to be alright. God what a day.

"Hey," Finn said as he slowly approached her.

"Hey," She responded weakly.

Looking up at him, she wondered why she was sticking this out. Not long ago she had considered telling Finn that she was done, and now in this moment, it was all she could think about. Everything he'd done, from the cheating, to the lies about how he felt, and then to yesterday's events at the Exodus crash site. This man was not the one she'd fallen in love with.

As his eyes drifted to Clarke, Raven knew what she had to do. It broke her heart.

"Wells." Raven spoke. "He saved me, right?"

"Yeah" Finn answered, glancing over the man behind him at the other side of the dripship. "He risked his life to save you, crazy guy. But none of that would've happened anyway if you hadn't take the bomb."

"You hesitated," Raven said thinking back to earlier when she had explained her plan to blow up the bridge.

"What?" Finn asked confused.

"When Bellamy asked who was gonna take it." Raven explained. "You hesitated."

"It's what people do when they're considering something that might blow them up right?" Finn said like it was an obvious fact with smirk on his face. But Raven wasn't. Nothing was funny about this conversation.

"You didn't hesitate when Clarke was falling," Raven said.

Finn's smile dropped from his face.

"You knew she had the virus, but you caught her anyway," Raven said.

"Raven-" Finn desperately tried to defend himself.

"You didn't hesitate," Raven cut him off.

Finn looked at the floor awkwardly, a downcast expression on his face. He couldn't meet her eyes, but Raven couldn't meet his either. This was the hardest moment of her life. After all the times that Finn had saved her and been there for her, she wondered if life beyond their relationship was possible.

"Raven," Finn flicked his eyes up to hers. "I love you."

"Not the way that I want to be loved," Raven said on the verge of tears.

She stayed silent for a moment, but then she spoke the words she had been holding back for so long.

"Not the way you love Clarke," Raven said.

Finn's eyes dropped, as did any hope he had. Raven saw that, in his expression, he admitted her correctness. He loved Clarke more than her, and it made Raven want to cry.

Raven closed her eyes trying to hold back her tears and reached behind her neck. She removed the necklace Finn had made for her so long ago back on the Ark. Her eyes lingered on the simple bird for a moment, as the gravity of what she was doing hit her.

"It's over Finn," Raven looked back to Finn's face trying to convey just how serious she was.

Finn took the necklace from her hand as Raven turned her head away, closing her eyes. She wanted to be alone now. Her emotions engulfed her, and the outer world ceased to exist. It took all Raven's strength to hold back her tears.

The virus has mostly passed and all the dead bodies were buried. Clarke stood outside the camp wall, sadly eying the freshly digged graves aware of Bellamy walking towards her with a torch in his hands.

"You're outside the wall without a gun." Bellamy scolded,

"Fourteen dead." Was all Clarke could say, not taking her eyes off the graves.

Bellamy made a noise of understanding and looked at the graves with a sad look. He shrugged his emotions off quickly and straightened his posture "We need to talk about Murphy."

"He was right about the bridge." Clarke said.

"We'll see." Bellamy licked his lips, changing the topic "Octavia says the mountain men are pissed, whatever that means."

Clarke sighed "I'd say it means we need as many soldiers as we can get."

"So, what," Bellamy scoffed. "We have pardon power now?"

"It's hard running things." Clarke tilted her head towards Bellamy. He lifts a brow quickly and drops it, and she gazes over the graves one last time. "Fourteen."

And then she heads back into camp, Bellamy following behind her.
