Rias couldn't help but tap her desk. She was currently in her clubhouse. Her seat of power of sorts in the area. It was where she came to think and give out orders to her peerage. She didn't really have to order them around since they were basically a family to her, but she was still the King. She had to look and act the part. Which meant that when things started happening in her territory, she needed to think on how to act.
Today she needed to act. For upon her desk was a letter. A letter that had been tied to a large, dark feather. The moment she had seen it, she had known there was more to it. This was no ordinary feather. It was in fact one that belonged to a Fallen, one of the enemies of her people. That didn't bode well for her and the people in her territory. It did not help that her friend was still scowling from being anywhere close to anything of the Fallen. Akeno was very dear to her. Seeing her upset made herself upset.
The letter tied to it was already untied and read. The contents within it were… disconcerting. Rias held her fingers together and took a deep breath. She looked up at Akeno, who was waiting patiently. "Do you believe the letter?"
"Fallen Angels are very good at lying," Akeno seethed, "They love to twist others into believing them and lulling them into a false sense of security."
"They could be lying," Rias nodded. Lying to your enemies was a sound strategy, "However, if this letter is telling me the truth, I could save someone's life. On top of that, I would deny the Fallen access to a powerful sacred gear."
"Or you could be led into a trap," Akeno countered.
Rias sighed, nodding along with her friend. "Yes, I am aware. Truthfully, we can't do much right now. Even if this letter is true, this is an official Fallen business. If we interfere, it could cause an incident that could spark fighting of some sort. I don't want that on my conscience."
"So if it is real, you can't do anything." Akeno clarified.
"But if it isn't, I shouldn't do anything." Rias finished and groaned, "I do not envy my brother for having to make these kinds of calls all the time. I really wish the Fallen hadn't come here."
"Oh that I can agree with wholeheartedly," Akeno said before pursing her lips, "But I do think we need to do something."
Rias quirked an eyebrow, "Weren't you just telling me about the Fallen being liars? I'd have thought you'd want me to postpone doing anything until we are certain of their intentions."
"And let them have their way?" Akeno scowled, "No. We should post someone to find this sacred gear user they are going to meet."
"And if it is a trap?" Rias said, "I won't risk any of my family needlessly."
"I know a thing or two about escaping a dangerous situation," Akeno stated, "Besides, I'm strong enough to take care of myself. Even if something were to happen, they wouldn't dare kill a member of your peerage so recklessly."
"Not unless they have a plan that involves it," Rias sighed and cupped her face in her hands. "I'll think about it."
Just then, the door opened. The pair of girls blinked in confusion when in walked Koneko. Rias opened her mouth to say something before she noticed the little teenage girl pulling along a much larger guy. Well more like lifting him up but he was still dragging due to his height. It was such a strange sight that she wasn't sure of what to say.
"He's hurt," Koneko simply said. She then moved over and put him on the couch, "He needs to be healed."
"Oh he'll be fine," Akeno giggled, "I've seen worse. Give him a week's worth of rest and he'll be right as rain."
"I don't want to wait a week," Koneko said in her usual deadpan glory. However, one could tell she was slightly agitated if you knew where to look for. "I want him better now."
"Oh?" Akeno put a hand over her mouth, "Are you sweet on him? Our little Koneko has a boyfriend at last."
"No," Koneko said with a slight roll of her eyes, "I just want his snacks."
"So you're just after his snacks?" Akeno pouted, "That's far less fun. How am I going to tease you over something so minor?"
"You don't," Koneko stepped away from the guy, "Besides, he's not human. Not fully."
"What?" Rias narrowed her eyes. She trusted Koneko greatly so to hear those words put her on edge. "What is he then?"
Koneko shrugged, "I don't know. He's part humans and part something… else. It smells nice. Weird but nice."
Rias rubbed her chin as she thought this over. 'If Koneko is telling the truth, he could be a potential boon. We'll need to figure out what he is first before I do anything rash though.' "Koneko, come with me. We need to discuss this person immediately. Akeno, could you please heal him? Whether he's human or not, he doesn't deserve to be in that much pain."
Akeno smiled and bowed, "It would be my pleasure. It's been a while since I've gotten the chance to heal someone. It'd be good practice for me."
Rias nodded and headed out of the room with Koneko, leaving the boy alone with her queen. She may be a masochist and a sadist, but Rias knew Akeno would do her duty well enough. She wasn't evil after all.
Dohnaseek felt sick to his stomach. Never in his life would he have thought he'd end up aiding a Devil. On top of that, he was helping a Devil defeat Fallen Angels. His kindred. If someone told him this would happen, he'd kill them. They'd be liars. Well that was what he'd think. Now though, he did not regret his choice. He felt sick, but not with regret. As long as Mittelt was safe, he'd do anything.
'Hopefully Azazel doesn't strip me of my wings because of this,' he lamented to himself.
That being said, he would have done this again. He was a fighter. He knew the risks that came with a war. Even a cold war they were in meant sacrifices must be made. He was willing to go the extra mile to do what needed to be done. Not just for Mittelt. No, Raynare was not the type of Fallen he'd trust with a sacred gear. He only agreed to come on this mission because he believed in it and protecting his charge. Now though? Raynare and Kalawarner could rot for all he cared. If he was lucky, maybe the devils would kill them and Azazel would let them do it. That would be a dream come true.
Before he made his departure, his eyes widened. There, being dragged by one of the small devils, was Theo. He mentally cursed words no mortal could understand. 'Of course it has to be him.'
He couldn't leave him be. Theo was important to Mittelt and his mission. She'd cry and that goddess would kill him if he just left him be. He couldn't rush in though. A den of devils was dangerous and he could end up hurting or even killing a devil of importance. He didn't know who was in charge of this land nor did he care to ask. Yet he knew she shouldn't act so reckless. So he needed to wait a few moments for them to drop their guard. Then he would swoop in and rescue Theo.
Every moment in Theo's current life was painful. He ached all over. The only consolation was that the girl who had done this hadn't aimed for his manhood. He could thank her for that small mercy. Still, he just wanted today to be over. He was not looking forward to going home and explaining to his mother about why this had happened. He inwardly shivered at the thought. Just seeing her angered expression was just as bad as the beating. He wouldn't wish her fury on anyone, even his hated enemies. He was very lucky that she was kind and understanding to himself and his sister.
Still though, no matter how much pain he was in, he had to wake up. It was embarrassing to think he had passed out in front of Koneko. A part of him just wanted to go crawl into his bed and never come out. It was rather promising but yeah, he knew that wasn't an option. So he was going to have to get a stiff upper lip and make it through this.
That meant he needed to open his eyes. He could hear someone shifting nearby. A melodic little hum that sent shivers down his spine. He didn't know if that was a good thing or bad. 'Is that mom? Hopefully she hasn't killed anyone.' He thought to himself with slight worry.
His eyes started to open. Once they did, his vision was greeted with a sight he never thought he'd see. Before him was an absolute bombshell of a woman. She was the curviest girl he'd ever seen. Her large tits bounced as she took off her shirt. Her shapely hips slightly rocked back and forth as she kept humming. Her long black hair wavered behind her. She was absolutely perfect and he had no idea of what to say. He was starstruck. What was he supposed to do?
"You fool," Kholkikos hissed into his mind, "Stop staring. She has magic about her. She is not human."
Theo felt his heart racing even faster at the thought. If she wasn't human, what sort of aspects and body parts did she have in her true form? He couldn't help but blush at the thought as a million different alternatives raced through his mind.
"The being I have been stuck with is useless," the dragon growled.
'Well she could be nice,' Theo said before he inwardly realized that he couldn't really move because of the pain. Which meant this girl could do whatever she wanted. Was she nice or evil? He hoped for the former.
"Oh my," the beautiful girl smiled as she stood there in only her underwear. "Someone's awake. Are you enjoying the view?" At his increased blush, she put a hand over her mouth. "Oh you naughty boy~ Maybe I should punish you for thinking such lewd thoughts but I can't. I promised to heal you and that's what I'm going to do."
"W-well," he gulped. Thankfully it didn't hurt to talk, "I… thank you."
Her smile turned a bit warmer, "Any time. I'm always happy to help my juniors. You are rather tall for your age though, not that I mind." She licked her lips.
He started to inwardly panic, 'Okay, she's not humans and she's licking her lips. Either she's messing with me or wants to eat me. Gah, please be messing with me. I don't want to die again.'
"So let's get you out of your clothing," she started to move forward.
"Wh-What?" He panicked and moved slightly back into the couch, groaning a bit in pain from the movement.
"Skin to skin contact helps the healing process," she told him, ever moving her hands closer to his body. "The spells we know are perfect for the types of injuries you have. Don't worry, in an hour or two you will be fine."
Theo gaped. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. 'Skin to skin healing… Being naked with her….' His brain was frying. He couldn't think straight at all.
"So this is how my host perishes? I wanted you dead, but this is pathetic." Kholkikos grumbled.
"B-But you don't need to do that," Theo chuckled nervously and tried to look at anything but the hot woman before him.
"Don't be so nervous~" The girl let her hand gently run over his chest. It didn't hurt with how so little force she applied. It just made him shiver, "I'll be gentle." Her full lips grew closer, "So feel safe with me, okay?"
Theo's mind went blank. She was so close. Her kissable lips were within distance. He… He… His head fell backwards.
"Boy… Boy!... Oh crap, he fell unconscious. He really is a virgin." The dragon within him felt embarrassed and growled quietly to himself as he tried to ignore his host's stupidity once more.
Akeno pulled back and pouted, "Perhaps I was a bit too much for him. Naughty, naughty Akeno." She put a hand on her cheek and sighed, "Well this means I can take off his clothes without hurting him too much now. He won't feel a thing with him out like a light."
She moved forward and started to undress him. Getting a peak under his shirt made her lick her lips even more, 'Ah, he's definitely not human. No human boy is this good looking.' She giggled to herself. Oh she couldn't wait to tease him some more when he woke up. Oh he seemed like a perfect target. This was going to be so much fun.
A bit shorter then I had planned but I'm really happy to get back to writing for this story. I love DxD after all and Theo is pretty fun to write as are the canon characters. So I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and hopefully the next one won't be so long to come out.
Also, because of the length, I've decided to go over a few things.
This is of course a harem fic and while I don't plan to do a huge one, and there will be build up, so far the list of who will definitely get together with Theo are:
Mittelt, Bennia, Kiyome Abe, and Xenovia. All three are definite picks and are staying on. As for other girls, there is going to be a lot of debating for me on whether I will include them or just have them be on friendly terms. Nothing is set in stone but I have to take things into consideration. So any feedback is appreciated but it'll come down to my own thoughts on the matter.
I can't wait to see what you thought of this chapter and I eagerly await the comments. Until next time, please take care of yourselves.
