Chapter 2
Forged in Exile pt 2
Okay, guys, since I hardly got any votes for Rescue or the pairing, I'm just gonna play it by ear. Anyway, let's get started with chapter 2. On to the reviews.
edboy4926: Thank you.
Guest: Thanks. I was worried people wouldn't understand that.
ReaperCrew7: Here you go.
bankai777: Nagato Sakurai or as Tsukune sometimes calls him, Sak.
Let's kick it up!

In the girls dorm at Yokai Academy. Kurumu was in the state she had been in for the past three weeks. Crying in her room. Suddenly, the air around her felt cold and she was able to silence her crying with some effort.
"I thought the point of locking a door was people wouldn't come through it." Kurumu said.
"Well, locks don't matter when your friend only leaves her room for classes and doesn't eat." Mizore said as she walked to Kurumu's bed and sat down next to her, holding a bowl of soup out to her.
"How can you be so calm with Tsukune gone?" Kurumu asked as Mizore adopted a saddened look.
"By reminding myself that he would be dead by now if he was still here." Mizore said as a tear began to fall from her eye. "Look. It's killing me not having Tsukune around. So the last thing I need right now is to lose Moka, the kid, or especially you." She said, not thinking on that last part.
'Especially me?' Kurumu thought. She would freely admit that she was closer to the Yuuki Onna than the other girls in the Newspaper Club. But she had no idea that the violet haired girl felt the same. "You're right. I'm sorry for worrying you." Kurumu said before taking the soup from Mizore. 'Of course she'd make gazpacho.' She thought with a mental eye roll. "Mizore... Do you really think that Tsukune's okay without us." She asked.
"That's the only thing that's keeping me from losing it. Knowing for a fact that Tsukune is completely safe and unharmed." Mizore said with her hand on Kurumu's shoulder.
(With Tsukune)
"Aaaaaaah!" Tsukune shouted he spun through the air before his face slammed in to the sealing before he fell to floor on his back. "Ow." He groaned before pulling two wires out of his Arc Reactor. He then stood up and cracked his back slightly before walking back to his lab.
"Okay." Tsukune said while activating the cooling feature on his chair and holding an ice pack to his head. "I'm gonna need a way to keep stable and regulate the power." He said while typing on the computer.
"Sir, perhaps you should take a break. Some fresh air might do you some good." Jarvis said before showing Tsukune the time and showing that he had once more spent the entire night awake.
"Yeah. I guess you're right." Tsukune said as he stood up. "I think I'll head to the diner and get some coffee." He said before leaving the lab and exiting the Fujikawa building for the first time in three days.
A short time later, Tsukune was walking through a park while looking at his phone to determine the time. "Great. Chika and Sak are both at school right now." He said in a quiet voice before letting out a sigh. "Great. Now I'm feeling lonely again." He said as his mind drifted back to his time at Yokai Academy and how is seemed like new friends would come out of nowhere. But he figured those days were gone.
Just then a bike came out of nowhere and hit him in that back, causing him to fall face first in to the ground.
"Seriously?" Tsukune asked in a groan as he got up.
"Hey! Watch where you're..." Tsukune heard before a girl say before looking up to see a girl with orange haired girl clad in an red sailor uniform with a beige skirt and brown knees socks was sniffing his bleeding forehead. She then began to move forward, positioning her mouth over the injury.
"Let me guess. Vampire?" Tsukune asked as the red headed girl jumped back with a look that mixed shock, fear, and anger on her face before Tsukune put up his hand reassuringly. "Relax. I have quite a few monster friends. You don't have to worry." He said before he stood up and pulled out one of several bandages he had made habit of always having on him and put it it on his cut before offering his hand to the red headed Vampire. "Tsukune Aono." He introduced himself.
"Kokoa Shuzen." The Vampire introduced before Tsukune led her to an American style diner that he loved to frequent as he told him about the first time he had met a vampire.
"Look, I don't mean to make this a race thing. But the evidence stands. Vampires should not have bikes." Tsukune said as he and Kokoa shared both laughs and fries.
"I have to admit. It doesn't make us look good when everyone else around us has to wear a helmet when we're riding." Kokoa joked back before Tsukune's eyes suddenly widened.
"Kokoa, you may have just solved a problem I was working on." Tsukune said before pulling out a notepad from his pocket a little too quickly as a picture of the Newspaper club fell out.
"What the hell?" Kokoa asked as she picked up the photo.
"That's just of picture of..." Tsukune began to say before being cut off by the Vampire.
"My sister." Kokoa said before gaining a shocked look from Tsukune.
"No freaking way. What are the odds?" Tsukune asked in slight disbelief. "Please tell me that you have some embarrassing pictures or stories about Moka as kid?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Well, not of her sealed form. But I might have a few of her true self." Kokoa replied.
"That's fine. I would pay good money to see an embarrassed blush on Ura Moka's face." Tsukune said with a smirk.
"Ura Moka?" Kokoa asked with a raised brow.
"It's what they came up with to set the two sides apart. Ura and Omote." Tsukune explained.
"That makes sense." Kokoa responded, doing her best to hide the interest about the implication of what Tsukune had told her.
After a short while, the two of them finished eating before they exchanged numbers and parted. Soon after, Tsukune arrived back at Fujikawa before he went black to his work station and brought up his solo flight file.
"Jarvis. Bring up a design grid with the flight boots." He said as the AI complied with his request. "Okay, now add in additional thrusters on the hands." He commanded.
"Right away, sir." Jarvis said as Tsukune nodded.
"This could definitely work. Now for Kokoa's contribution." Tsukune said as he leaned back. "Now, go in to my files from just before April and bring up the riot control droid file." He said as the files now appeared side by side. "Okay, now gut the droid and increase the size before before adding the thrusters." He said.
"Sir, am I to assume that you are planning to create a flying suit of armor?" Jarvis asked as he complied with his creators orders.
"That's right, Jarvis, my boy and I'm gonna need your help with it. I'm going to have it where you can give me info and take control if I need it." He said as the out line finished." Okay, let me just mod one of the truster sets and we can can build the armor around it." He said.
"Very well, sir. Though I must inform you that the armor will take some time to put together. In the meantime, you may wish to catch up on some of the sleep you have missed in the apartment your aunt prepared for you on the upper levels of the building." Jarvis said, gaining a mod from the tired tech genius.
"Good call, Jarvis. Just let finish this up and I'll have Dummy and U move them over to the building station when I'm done." Tsukune said.
A short time later, Tsukune woke up to find that night had already fallen before he made his way back down to the lab.
"Jarvis, you up?" Tsukune asked as he walked in to the lab.
"For you, sir. Always." Jarvis said before revealing the results of their work. "I am pleased to report that the flight suit has been completed.
"Alright. Then let's try it on." Tsukune said while rubbing his hands together.
"Sir, I really most protest. We should run extensive simulations to gather the necessary data for a field test." Jarvis said gaining a shake of his creator's head.
"Jarvis, nobody ever got anywhere by playing it safe. Now, let's get going." Tsukune said before walking over to where the pieces of the armor were taken apart before he stepped in to the boots as one by one, each piece formed around him until finally, the hemet of the silver armor formed over his head and the blue lights of the heads up display. 'He then walked out the south side of the building to one of the out door testing sights.
"Okay, Let's test this baby out." Jarvis, start thrusters out at three percent power." Tsukune instructed as he placed his hands town before he slowly but surely began to rise up off the ground. "Okay. Lower to one percent then bring up an AR ring ten yards from us." He said before he began moving forward, need only a moment to get used to the movement. After reaching his destination he looked down to where he had taken off to see that a crate that he had been near had moved slightly. "Jarvis, activate the back stabilizers." He instructed.
"Is there a problem I am not detecting with the ones in your gauntlets, sir." Jarvis inquired.
"No. I just had an idea." Tsukune said before pointing at an empty crate. "Narrow the right hand stabilizer and send out a fifty percent pulse on my mark." He said before he fired what could be called a blast at the crate, utterly shattering it and causing Tsukune to smirk inside the armor.
A short while later, Tsukune was sitting down while looking at the armor.
"You know, we could do a lot of good with this with a few modifications." Tsukune mused.
"Perhaps. But there is a fair bit of work to be done in that regard." Jarvis said before bringing up some files. "Simulations, I have run show that the armor is quite susceptible extreme temperatures and may not be able to maintain integrity at the maximum speed that the repulsers can produce." Jarvis informed Tsukune as he began typing.
"What if we used the gold/titanium alloy that the company uses for satellites?" Tsukune asked as Jarvis brought up a render of the theoretical armor and showing that the metal would fit their needs. "A bit tough on the eyes, though." He said while rubbing his neck before an idea came to hims and he began tinkering with the color or the render until the pectorals, gauntlets, boot, and back of the helmet were blood red, while the biceps. Tsukune then leaned back in his chair and with a smirk said "Alright, Jarvis. Let's get to work."
