Tuesday
Heat of the moment….
Your eyes shot open…unwillingly. From your spot on the couch, you had a perfect view of Dean tying his boots, while Sam matched your confused expression. "Rise and shine, gang!" You closed your eyes again.
"Dude. Asia. C'mon, you love this song and you know it."
Heat of the moment!
The volume increased, officially hitting your last nerve. Without a word, you grabbed the boot next to the couch and catapulted it straight at Dean. It hit his shoulder and got his attention. "Turn it off." You managed to mutter. He grimaced to himself; some comment about Sleeping Beauty, but still lowered the song.
"Get up now. Both of you. We're leaving." You looked to Dean and he shrugged. Sammy was pissed. You were tempted to try the holy water honestly, but you and Dean got into the car as Sam sped toward the Mystery Spot. He unlocked the trunk and pulled a hatchet out. Your eyes got wider, wondering if you were going to have to stop him at some point. Had Sam finally cracked?
He had. You had been here twenty minutes. The owner was tied up and Sam was destroying the entire building. You and Dean stood guarding the hostage (mostly from Sam). "Everybody's fine. Nobody's gonna get hurt, okay?" Dean tried to reassure your victim. You looked to him pointedly, pleading that he get his little brother under control. You would try yourself, but Sammy's mindset at the moment seemed to only respond to Dean. He sighed, "Sammy? Maybe you should drop the ax and let this guy go. What do you say?"
"Something's got to be going on here. I intend to find out what."
"Place is tore up pretty good, dude. Time to give it a rest."
"No! I'm gonna take it down to studs." Dean just looked to you and laughed. You rolled your eyes. Looks like mom has to step in. You walked up to him. "Sam, that's enough. Give me the ax."
"Don't touch me!"
"I'm serious, Sam."
"Leave it be Y/N!" Fine. You asked for it. You kicked his Achilles forcing him to face you and you grabbed his hand holding the weapon at the exact pressure point needed to drop it. It clattered to the floor, but his reflexes were quick. He picked it up and raised it to make his point. As it hit the peak, the object flew from Sam's hand…directly into Dean. The blood spatter made it all the way to your boots and you gasped.
Dean Winchester was dead.
