Filler Chapter: The Rabbit and the Sharpshooter
Summary: When in a bind, sometimes help isn't as far away as you think.

Gardens of Beacon, One day after the Cafeteria slugfest...
Velvet happily walked down one of the many walkways in Beacon's Gardens. Ever since that fight between her bullies and those monsters, she felt herself breathing a bit more easily, much to the relief of her teammates.
But, now that she had found herself in a secluded location, Cardin and his team thought it would be the perfect time to show her they were still the big dogs around campus.
"HEY! BUNNY BITCH!"
Velvet shrieked and turned around to see Cardin, Sky Lark and Russel Trush making their way towards her. "No! Not again!" She cried, trying to run, only to crash face-first into the breastplate of Dove Bronzewing's armor, dazing her slightly and allowing the final member of Cardin's team to grab Velvet by the wrists and hold her hands well above her head, leaving her basically unable to defend herself with her back turned to Cardin and the rest of the team as they approached.
"Well, well, well. Look who we ran into boys. Looks like Velvet here couldn't keep herself away for long." Cardin laughed along with his teammates. "Have you come back for more, rabbit girl?"
"I was enjoying my day! You're the ones who came after me!" Velvet countered, kicking wildly as a last resort, but the bully team was ACTUALLY smart enough to stay away from her legs that could send Grimm flying.
"You can kick all ya want, dyke. You're gonna pay for what you and your pals did to us yesterday!" Cardin spat. "And now, you will pay! You're coming with us!" He and his started to drag Velvet away to do who knows what to her.
Velvet, horror dawning upon her features, did the one thing she knew when defenseless.
"HELP!!!"
Elsewhere in the Gardens, at a particularly large pond...
Away from the chaos, another beast, or two, from another realm were enjoying the pleasant weather.
Floating at the center of a pond, on what seemed to be a muddy log, was a flying Wyvern. He was lean in build, colored gold with red in some areas, and rested on his wings and feet, which were zygodactyl in shape. His neck was covered in particularly large scales. He, as known back in his home realm, was a Seregios.
"Ah. I have to say. While I didn't like the way we came here, the change in climate and weather is great. Right, Drift.?" He said, stretching out his wings.
His companion lifted his head out of the water, tired red eyes meeting sky-blue. Mud, which had lightly clouded the pond, covered the beast's body, which had brown armor that turned lighter as it reached it's underside. It's head had a large crest, a crown-like structure that served as both a battering ram and housing for the monster's five blowholes. This monster, as he was known back home, was a Barroth.
"I...guess." The Brute Wyvern replied in his baritone voice. "But, how do you know this joint is even safe, Swiss? We've seen that this is major gathering point for humans. You know how I feel about 'em."
The Seregios scoffed playfully. "Aw, c'mon, mate! Live a little! You never do anything aside from pretend to be a log!"
His semi-aquatic companion only gave a grunt at his friends attempts to get him to change.
But then, the typical ambience in the area was broken by a loud sound.
"HELP!!!"
Both Wyverns were alerted to the sound quickly. Seregios were well-known to be short-tempered and, while Swiss was somewhat more calm and sociable than most his kind, he was still no exception to this rule. "Oh, come on! I was hoping to enjoy this day sunbathing and enjoying the warm weather! Somebody better be dying, or they will be when I get there." He grumbled, opening his wings and flying away to investigate.
The team of delinquents had dragged Velvet to a more secluded area of the garden where they were less likely to be spotted. "This is gonna be perfect. I hope you're ready to have some fun, bitch bunny!" Cardin declared as they pinned Velvet to the ground, face down, at which point the leader of the team grabbed Velvet's pants and yanked them off in one swift motion, leaving Velvet's long legs bare up to her ample butt, which was covered by a pair of white panties with chibi bunnies all over them. "Oh, my god! Even your underwear has rabbits on it! Well, don't worry. I've got a nice hare for you." Cardin said darkly, referring to a certain part of his anatomy that Velvet dreaded to even think about.
From the sky, Swiss honed in on the source of the noise and saw what was happening. The Wyvern was honestly left shocked at this. Even back in their world, it was nearly unheard of for monsters to force themselves on each other. With his incredible vision, he also saw the girl's absolutely terrified face and knew he had to save her, then make those punks, the true monsters, pay. So the Thousand Blades Wyvern quickly dive-bombed out of the aid, descending towards the students rapidly and was upon them in seconds, the apparent leader of the boys having seen Swiss' shadow as he descended and had just enough time to turn around and see Swiss' tail smash him in the face and knock him down, the Wyvern spinning in the air to right himself, causing the other boys to back off so they wouldn't be shredded by his razor sharp scales, before he grabbed Velvet in his claws and flew back to a safe distance, trying his best to ignore Velvet's squeals of fear and pain.
Why pain? Well, unfortunately for Velvet, the first thing the razor-winged dragon could grab with his claws happened to be her panties, so while he had saved her from her attackers, he was now giving the bunny girl a flying wedgie
*Snap!*
The garments suddenly snapped loose, causing the girl to fall down a small distance to the ground, landing on her back. Without her panties, her bottom half was completely exposed, letting anyone present to see her most vulnerable spot.
She groaned as the Wyvern landed in front of her, the sound bringing her back to reality. She gave a squeak upon seeing the creature, the sound evolving to a small scream when she realized her bottom half was exposed, letting the beast before her see it all, natural brown bush and all.
Quickly, she covered her crotch while the monster averted his gaze out of respect. Swiss was many things, but a pervert wasn't one of them.
Fucking great. First I nearly get raped by a bunch of bullies, and now I have to deal with this thing who tore off my panties." Velvet muttered to herself, glaring at the monster who only tilted his head in confusion. She knew that creatures like him probably didn't see the value of clothing, but she still didn't like the staring.
Swiss then noticed a large bush not too far away and grabbed it, ripping it out of the ground and dropping it in front of her.
Velvet's shame turned into confusion. Was this monster...trying to protect her modesty? She wasn't sure if she should feel thankful or pitied. At least she was covered.
"Um...thank you?" She said, unsure of this one could understand her. Her savior, apparently, was taken aback by her acknowledgment, and gave a small grunt in return. Even though she couldn't understand it, she thought of it as his way of saying "no problem".
"There he is! Told you he wouldn't go far!" Velvet's eyes widened. Shit! They followed them. "Don't let them find me! Please!" She pleaded, hiding her quivering form behind the bush.
Swiss didn't really have a choice as the boys from before showed up. His neck scales standing on end and rattling, the Seregios gave his challenge.
SHHRRRRIIIIIEEEEGHH!!
Russel tried his famous spinning attack, but Swiss flared up his neck scales and shot them at the boy, hitting him in the back and causing him to fall flat on his face. Thankfully, his aura saved him, but there was no denying that hurt. This briefly caused the rest of the team to hesitate, which worked for the Flying Wyvern, allowing him to hover forward and snatch Russel off the ground, spin around and yeet the boy at Cardin, who dove out of the way, allowing Sky to have their teammate slam into him instead, depleting both of their auras.
The two remaining members came at Swiss together, both taking a swing at him, the Thousand Blade Wyvern swinging his head and deflecting Dove's sword and smacking away Cardin's mace with his foot, spinning and smacking them both in the face with his tail, before zeroing in on Dove and delivering several vicious kicks to the boy's chest and face, sending him back into a wall, before flicking his head again and sending more of his bladed scales and hit him in the chest. And like that, he was out of the fight as well. Only Cardin still remained.
"Fine. I can still handle you on my own. You're barely my size. You're just an over-grown parrot, as far as I'm concerned!" Cardin challenged.
Swiss simply deadpanned at this, sending more of his scales out and knocking Cardin's mace out of his hand, before flying in and grabbing him, flying him into a wall and firing more of its scales at him, cartoonishly pinning him to a wall with a perfect outline of his body, before he flew in and knocked Cardin out with a strike from his tail.
Meanwhile, Velvet watched the whole fight in awe. But she also noticed that, for whatever reason. Sky had brought her pants, which were tied around his waist, so she quickly scurried over and retrieved them, quickly covering up her booty and baby maker.
Shyly, she crawled out from her hiding spot and looked at the aftermath of the beast's rampage, then looking at the Wyvern, who was shaking himself to smoothen out his scales.
A nearby splash brought her attention to a nearby pond, and she gasped upon seeing what she could only describe as a rock dinosaur lazily pulling itself from the water. The beast, standing at almost 7 feet at the hips, scrutinized her with its red eyes.
"I'm not gonna hurt you. Your friend, if I can call him that, saved me from getting raped." She explained, pointing to the Seregios. The land-bound monster seemed to raise an eye-ridge before looking at the shorter beast, who looked back at them.
They then started to have a conversation, which to Velvet only sounded like oversized parrot squawks and walrus grunts.
"Velvet!" Ruby cried out as she ran onto the scene. "I saw that monster giving you a giant wedgie! So i came to help! Are you okay?!" She asked.
"Huh!? Oh, yeah, I'm okay. He actually saved me." Velvet said. Just then, Shade ran onto the scene, panting lightly.
"Kid! Don't run off on me like that! Ya know that even I have trouble catching-" His scolding stopped when he saw the two monsters behind Velvet.
'Seregios and Barroth?' He thought to himself as he looked between the two monsters, then the rabbit-Faunus.
"They with you?" Shade asked, which Ruby translated.
"I-I think so, yes." Velvet said.
"Oh! Hang on, I have a backup translator in case I break or lose my main one. But you can have it, instead." Ruby said, handing it to Velvet.
"Hmm..." She placed the device in her human ear, and heard it activate with a quiet beep when she pressed the button. That's when she heard the Mud monster and Scaly wyvern's conversation.
"So now humans and a Nargacuga know we're here. Was all this worth it?" The Barroth asked.
"I wasn't going to let those freaks force themselves on her! Not even Deviljho's sink that low! And I'd be just as low as them if I let that happen! Besides, she seems nice. I'd say she was worth it." The razor beast told his ally.
"Uh...Hey." Velvet said meekly, gaining their attention.
"Great, what does she want now?" Drift rolled his eyes.
"Well that's just rude, especially to a lady." Velvet said, catching both monsters off guard.
"Wait, you understood that?" Asked Swiss.
"Yes, so please be more considerate of your thoughts when you're around me." Velvet replied simply.
"Very well. I'm sorry about my friend here. He's not the most sophisticated monster out there." Swiss said.
Velvet raised an eyebrow at this. "Oh? And giving me a wedgie is sophisticated?" She asked
"I had to grab onto SOMETHING! That and I wasn't looking!" The razor Wyvern's already red face turned a shade darker. "And I didn't mean for your undergarments to snap either, my talons are sharp." He brandished the sharp appendages.
"It's fine." Velvet sighed in irritation. "Do you two have names I can call you?"
"I'm Swiss, and the grumpy log that is my companion here is Drift." Swiss introduced himself with a bow while Drift gave a grunt.
"My name is Velvet Scarlatina. Nice to meet you." Velvet said, bowing back. "And this is my friend Ruby Rose with her monster, Shade." She explained.
"You two went through a white hole and ended up here, right?" Shade asked.
"Yeah, we were trying to escape a sandstorm when this white hole opened in front of us and sucked us in. I'm assuming something similar happened to you?" Swiss inquired.
"Yep." The Nargacuga confirmed. "And so far, no one has found a way back, so good luck with that."
"Well, that's just great." Drift sighed. "Looks like we won't be heading home." He said sadly while Swiss gave him a pat on the back. Velvet looked at them with Sympathy, but then a light bulb went off in her head.
"I know! You and Drift can stay with me and my team! Team RWBY already has Shade and Douglas-" Velvet began.
"A bastard Barioth." Shade explained before they could ask.
"So I'm sure my team taking in a couple shouldn't be a problem. Just, no more wedgies, okay?" Velvet said, shooting a teasing jab at the Seregios one last time for laughs.
"Hah! We'll see about that." The flying Wyvern chuckled. "Lead the way, Wabbit." He followed Velvet while his Barroth companion lumbered after him. The girl named Ruby and her Nargacuga said their goodbyes and walked off.
Later, at CVFY's dorm...
"Do you think Velvet's alright?" Asked Yatsuhashi as he sat on his bed. He was a mountain of a man who wielded a bronze great sword, but underneath all that muscle was a kind man.
"I'm sure she's fine, Yatsu." Coco Adel said nonchalantly from the kitchen. She was a tall woman with caramel brown hair, dressed in fine clothing, which included a tan sweater that hugged her C-Cup bust and her signature shades, which sat on her nightstand. Her weapon, a purse that can become a huge-ass mini-gun, sat on next to shades too. "Velvet's a big girl. Let's have a little faith in her."
"I'm not worried about her either, but it's those new freshmen I'm worried about. They've been picking on her." Fox Alistair said from his seat by the table. He was handsome guy, his red hair framing his angular face and his weapon of choice being two Tonfa.
"I've been giving her self defense lessons, I don't see why a bunch of freshmen would be a threa-"
Suddenly, there was a knock.
"Ah, that must be her." She went to the door and opened it. There stood Velvet, but to the fashionista's bafflement, there were two creatures behind her. One looked like a rock dinosaur, and the other looked like a dragon, but with traits found in pine-cones and parrots.
"Hey Coco! I'm back!" The bunny girl said happily.
"Hey Vel...Uh...what...are those things?" Coco asked, pointing to the two beasts behind her teammate.
"They're more of those creatures like Team RWBY has. The Flying one saved me from those freshmen that were messing with me." She explained.
"Hmm...let them in." Coco, ushering them inside. Her brown eyes took in the odd beasts before her. She then looked back at Velvet.
"Care to give me the full story?" Coco asked.
Velvet explained everything, from the part where she was almost raped to the part where she met the two monsters. By the end, Coco was pinching the bridge of her nose in quiet anger.
"I swear, next time I see those guys, it will be at the end of Gianduja." She growled, biting back her rage for Velvet's sake.
"Bless you." The Barroth said.
"I didn't sneeze." Coco replied simply.
"But you said-" The Seregios was about to point out, but the Fashionista cut him off.
"Gianduja? No, that's my weapon." She went to her night stand and pulled her purse from it. The two monsters almost had to smack themselves to prevent the laughter from coming.
"You called that a weapon?" Swiss snickered. "That little thing ain't nothing but a-"
*WHIRRRRR. CH-CHAK.*
"...purse." He said more quietly, not as confident when he saw the big gun that it could turn into. That thing could probably shred an entire swarm of lesser monsters!
"Holy shit."
"Yep. This is mine." She shifted it back to purse form. "And the last thing you'll see is down the barrel of it if you fail to protect Velvet, am I clear?" She asked, her gaze burning into their souls.
"Yes, ma'am." Swiss agreed fearfully.
"Is it too late to go back to the pond?" Drift asked nervously.
"Well, things are certainly getting more exciting around here." Yatsu said.
"Yeah. And now Cardin's got two more reasons to back off. Good work, Vel." Coco said, walking past Velvet and patting the bunny girl on the butt.
However, she then felt something off when she felt her bunny's booty, so she quickly turned around and pulled back on Velvet's pants to expose her naked butt. "Coco!" Velvet shrieked, squirming to get away from her leader.
"How'd this happen? Felt naughty?" Coco said teasingly, causing the Faunus to blush heavily.
"N-no, her underpants tore when I saved her. One of the assailants had her pants tied around his waist, so when he got knocked out, she retrieved them." The Seregios explained.
"Good, good." The fashionista said, pulling her teammate's pants. "I like seeing that bunny booty any day, but I wouldn't just have it out for all to see. All I need to know is that my hun-bun is safe." She pulled Velvet into an embrace.
"Thanks, Coco. You always know just what I need." Velvet said happily, returning the hug.
"Awe, how sweet." Swiss cooed.
"Hmph. Mush." Drift scoffed.
"Anything for my girlfriend." Coco gave a Faunus a kiss on the head. Velvet giggled and nuzzled into her lover's neck.
"Ugh, alright enough. Do you folks have an equivalent to a pond I could relax in?" The Barroth asked, trying to be polite for Swiss' sake.
"Yeah, we got a large hot tub outside. Though, first we need to get you two cleaned." Coco declared. Swiss gave a nod in agreement since he wanted to keep his scales clean, but his Barroth companion wasn't as compliant.
"No! This mud keeps my armor clear of parasites, and I don't care how many times you'll try to say it's fine, I WILL NOT GET A BATH!!"
Literally 5 minutes later...
"You were saying bud?" Said Swiss as he opened the scales on his neck to let Velvet have access to the softer skin beneath them.
CVFY's dorm was thankfully next to the communal showers (They did have gender oriented showers in Beacon, but the one closest to them was unisex), which was a godsend for them considering their current situation.
All of them decided to take the opportunity to get cleaned up while they worked on making sure their new guests were cleaned. Drift grumbled as he was cleaned by Yatsuhashi and Coco, while Velvet and Fox helped Swiss clean himself.
"You know, I think you actually look better without all that mud. Brings out your brighter colors." Coco noted, seeing the oranges and other colors under the mud.
Drift grumbled. "And I think you could use some extra color yourself." He said, swinging his tail and smacking her in the butt with his club, leaving both cheeks a light red.
"Hey! Watch it!" She cried. "That's for Velvet only!"
"Coco!" Said girl yelled while her charge laughed.
"Ah! You two lovebirds are too funny! How long have you two been together?" The Seregios asked.
"Since the end of our first year." The fashionista explained. "I was the one to confess first. We've been going steady for while."
"That's nice." Swiss said. "I can see why she likes you. You're a cool chick to hang around, and you got the looks too."
He wasn't wrong. Coco had toned build, with nice biceps from carrying her mini gun and lightly defined abdominal muscles. Compared to Velvet's natural bush, her pubes were more trimmed. Velvet's own body was similar in build, but her muscle mass was more centered in her legs, with her skin having a bit more of a tan to it.
"Aw, don't give just me the spotlight, dude. Look at Yatsu and Fox." The former blushed and turned his head away while the latter supposedly ignored her and continued his work on the Swiss' wings.
"Yeah, this whole team is full of lookers. I think that makes Drift the ugliest one here." The Flying Wyvern teased his Brute Wyvern friend.
Drift sent a cold glare Swiss' way. "I can render you unable to fly in an instant, pine cone. Don't test me." He warned, blasting steam out of his nostrils. Gulping, The Seregios shut his maw.
"Ya know." Velvet began. "I think you two will like it here. I'll speak with Ozpin to see how we can make you feel comfortable."
"Whatever allows me to go undisturbed." Drift growled. His companion stood tall. "Let this be the start of a new era! One of friendship and adventure! ONWARD!" He declared, causing the others to laugh.
This would be the start of something new.
