Also, I hope you all check out my Snoggletog story, it's something I have been writing for a bit. Updates with that story will be coming up faster. Without further wait, enjoy.
Chapter 5: Unexpected Turn
Dagur strolled through the village, a scowl on his face as he had to reprimand several of his men that were lingering around. What part of needing to look for Hiccup do they not understand? The Berserker chief didn't feel comfortable with him on the loose, as he has a knack for causing him nothing but trouble. Yet, he wouldn't tell his men that, he does have an image to uphold after all. Still, he wanted him found, as he has a lot of plans for Berk's heir, first off and the part he's most excited for is to make Hiccup watch as his dragon is killed right before his eyes. That is something that will bring much glee to him and would really devastate Hiccup. Oh, he could hardly wait for that, but of course for now he needed to keep his mind focused on other things right now. They had just taken over the village and were now amassing all the supplies Berk had, as well as any other valuables they may come across.
Right now, the teen found himself heading for the forge, seeing the light on within, and knowing his troops were inside collecting the weapons. Deciding to see how their progress is head walked straight for it, entering the building once close. His entrance didn't go unnoticed as the two Outcasts turned to him, "S-Sir, what brings you?"
"Just checking to see how the collecting is going," Dagur responded back in a calm, yet hidden intent, voice. Looking around and seeing that the place is nearly picked clean.
"We're almost done sir, just a couple more trips," the second Outcast responded back, both of them looking nervous. They hoped doing what they were told would avoid the wrath the teen would administer. Dagur is scary at times and is unpredictable, so he could do anything to them.
"Good, good," Dagur nodded, glad at least some people were competent. "How about those blueprints and designs you found?"
"Uh…we haven't gotten to those yet, but most of it are packed up into some containers," the first Outcast said, heart beating a bit faster as a curve ball seemed to have been thrown at him. They just hope this wasn't the case where he would have rather had those moved instead.
"Good, I don't trust anyone else with those except me…I'll move them myself," Dagur responded as he turned and left to building, going around the side. After taking over the village and scavenging the place, the Berserker leader was surprised upon being told there was a room that had so many designs and Blueprints, especially ones that looked like deadly weapons and more. The news pleased Daugr big time and asked that those be loaded up as he would be taking possession of them. He was also going to enjoy looking over all this and see what kind of ideas Berk has been up to as of late.
Once he got to the curtained off doorway Dagur pushed it to the side and went in. Both eyes then widened as he found the room empty of paper. This was odd, he had been in here before and the room was littered with designs and plans, but now they were gone…even the so-called crates that were holding them. He had to look again to make sure he wasn't seeing things before growling and turning away. He walked back to the entrance of the forge, seeing the same tow Outcasts there still loading weapons. They stopped upon seeing him again, the irritated scowl on his face making them nervous.
"Uh…something wrong sir?" the second one spoke up.
"Where did the plans go?" Dagur asked in a sharp tone of voice.
"The plans?" the first one asked questioningly. "They're inside the back room, in the containers."
"No, they're not," the teen responded, his ire growing upon being lied to. "I was just back there, and the room is bare of everything that was inside."
"How is that possible?" the two looked at one another before putting the weapons down and rushing over to the workspace. The curtain thrown aside, and as they looked inside; their eyes widened in horror. Hands were sweating and hearts thumping as it was all gone. Not good especially as these were their responsibility.
Dagur came up with folded arms, "Did any of the other men take them?"
The second Outcast turned around, practically sweating bullets, "N-No…we never told anyone to handle it…y-you gave that task to us."
"Did we misplace them?" the first one asked quickly, not liking the transforming face their leader is giving off. Making any sort of excuse to spare them of the wrath that would be inflicted on them.
"N-No, they were in here but…no one else went near here except I…I don't understand," the second one responded, now finding his choice of words bad.
It was then something clicked into Dagur's mind. If these two idiots didn't mess with the plans, and they were the only ones here, and no one else helped them…then that means that someone else had to do it, mostly without any orders from himself…that or-
Both eyes widened as the answer hit him like a speeding Gronkle, "It was Hiccup…he was here."
"Uh…h-how can you be sure?" the first Outcast asked in worry, part of him smacking himself for questioning an excuse that would allow them off the hook.
"It was him, he's here in the village," Dagur responded as he looked around sharply in the dark, trying to spoke his target. Seeing nothing so far he reared his head back and shouted at the top, "He's in the village!"
His voice could be heard far and wide throughout the entire town, anyone present could hear him, and they did as he repeated it once more. Soon enough his troops were scrambling over to his location, many of them looking confused, yet alert to whatever could be going on. When a good number approached, he looked them over, "Hiccup is in the village, fan and search for him! We have him trapped!"
Everyone present then scattered about, not needing to be told twice about the order, and facing their leader's wrath. They headed for nearby homes, checking every crook and cranny in search of Berk's heir. Dagur stood where he was, keeping an eye out on everyone to monitor their progress. A smirk appeared on his face upon cracking his knuckles, "Ok Hiccup, if it a cat and mouse game you want to play, then we'll play it like that. It's going to be sooooo exciting hunting you down."
Right at that moment Savage came up to him, a bit of concern on his face. Knowing it's foolish to speak up like this, "Sir, not that I'm questioning your authority, but do you think it's wise to use so much manpower in searching for one person?"
The teen sneered at the comment, "I have a score to settle with Hiccup, this time around I will win, and I'll kill his dragon right in front of him…and who knows, I might do the same to him." A Cheshire grin appearing on his face after saying that, showing he's serious.
A chill went down Savage's spine, he heard Dagur say so many things, but what his leader said just didn't settle right with him. He knew Dagur is so dead set on getting even that it became an obsession, and when he's obsessed like that there was nothing that could get his mind off of it. The only way was to fulfill that desire, as nothing else will get in his way. As much as Savage wanted to ignore the search and continue on with their plan, he knew it would be hazardous to his health to go against his leader.
Hiccup ran away from the town's jails with a racing heart, he had to get out of here as there is a high chance of getting caught as his presences was somehow discovered. Yet, also at the same time he didn't want to leave at all. The talk with his dad helped him a lot, and just needed more of that. In all actuality he needed someone to talk to about everything. Despite the talk being short it helped calm his nerves some….but not as much as he wanted. He didn't want to be alone right now and wasn't sure if he could keep going. Unfortunately, that was out of the question right now as he had only one mission in mind. To run.
He kept to the houses to remain cover, knowing he was at the main square, where the Great Hall stood. Stopping to catch his breath he peered around the side of the building to see if anyone is around. To his surprise he didn't find as many Berserkers or Outcasts around like there were before talking to his dad. There was an occasional one or two but the majority of them couldn't be found. This confused him but then surmised that they all were called over to where the voice called out from. This was good, somewhat, as it gave him some time and cover not to get spotted. Waiting around for a moment longer the remaining guards cleared out, leaving the square mostly deserted. Looking up at the entrance of the Great Hall he found three Berserkers standing outside, all armed with swords or spears. Upon closer inspection it seemed like they weren't paying attention to what is happening below. They mostly seemed to keep looking at the door or at one another.
"Is that where everyone else is?" Hiccup questioned as the thought came to mind. He is worried for the other villagers, not sure if anyone was hurt or killed during the attack. A lot of good people he was worried about, all those thoughts making him worried. Part of him was tempted to go and see if he could help them but knew he wouldn't stand a chance, and most likely put the others in danger. Plus, if three were outside then he wasn't sure how many could be on the inside closely monitoring them. As much as it pained him he would have to move on, "I'm sorry everyone…soon I'll come back for you."
Looking around the area once more his sights stopped at home, which looked unguarded to his surprise…yet there's no way to truly confirm that from where he is. For a brief moment Hiccup hesitated, he could just go for the forest and try finding a hiding spot to hold up in…but being so close to home, and the fact that a good portion of the enemy is distracted seems to be giving him a good opportunity to head for his house. Should he really risk his life for the book and the notes? That was his main reason for coming here…and he couldn't allow both items to fall into Dagur's hands…just like how he had to toss all his blueprints and plans…His hands clenched upon remembering how he had to do that…but it had to be done. Yet if he hadn't done if he wanted it to be kept out of Dagur's hands. Still, right now he's given an opportunity, and if he doesn't say anything now either one will be lost.
"Odin…if you're helping me, thank you," Hiccup responded, hoping his luck will stay with him for as long as possible. Making up his mind the teen bolted for his home, crossing the open piece of the town square. During his spring he looked around in a quick heap, finding no one around still, which made his nerves settle down some as he managed to trek the distance as quickly as he did. He quickly stopped at his front door, but to his surprise found it open. Fear gripping at him once more, thinking that someone may be inside. He leaned his head in and listened for any sound, a few agonizing seconds passed as silence came.
Still being cautious, his hand pushed the door opened slightly before sticking his head in. It was somewhat dark inside, as what was left of the fire in the brazier is now smoldering. It still burned but not enough to produce a lot of light. Despite all this he can see that no one is around, yet also saw clear evidence that someone had been inside. The home has signs of being ransacked, as chairs and tables were turned over, baskets emptied, and the weapons were gone. This dealt a blow to the teen, knowing that his home, one of his sanctuaries is trashed and looked through. Although, it made sense as the chief's house is one of the most important buildings and they would want to see anything worth wild here. As much as he ate away at him Hiccup hurried in, closing the door behind him.
"Ok, supplies first, I can exit the house through my window when I finish," Hiccup said to himself as he hurried further into the home, going over to where the food is stored. Thankfully, not all of it is spilled out on the floor. He grabbed a couple pieces of bread and stuffed them into the bag, then grabbed at a nearby leather water pouch, which is thankfully filled and placed it inside with the rest of his stuff. The urge to take more was there, but he still needed room for the Book of Dragons and Bork's notes. Yet food is needed as he wasn't sure how long he would need to hide for…but he came here for a reason and needed to stick to it.
Moving as quickly as his leg would take him, the teen hurried upstairs to his loft, quickly opening the door and closing it upon entering, but not all the way as he would need to hear just in case someone entered. A relieved sigh left his mouth upon looking around his room, finding it is undisturbed, that's good, as they must have not had time to come here yet. Moving over towards his desk, he pushed it over some, the legs moving off of one of the floorboards. Kneeling down his fingers ran along the edges to grip at the wood, and soon enough is able to pry it up off the ground. Setting it to the side the teen reached in and pulled out the Book of Dragons, which was nestled down in the hiding spot.
This happens to be a place where Hiccup would hide certain things he didn't want anyone to find, in fear they would have negative things to say about it. He has this before the war had ended and had it for years. Also, he continued to use it even up till now, no one but him and Toothless knew about this, not even his father knew.
Hey there were things that even Hiccup needed to hide from his dad, but that's not important at the moment.
The book is then placed in his bag, before turning back to the hiding spot and reaching in to pull out the large chest and placing it down on the floor next to him. Opening it he found all of Bork's notes laying within. Mental relief flooding him as they were still intact, especially as he grabbed and carefully stuffed them into the bag, knowing he couldn't take the chest with him as it'll weigh him down. By the time he stuffed the last bits of notes into the bag Hiccup found it to be full, no way anything more could be added in. Closing the chest, it was placed it back inside the hiding spot, the floorboard replaced as the desk is pulled back over it. Hiccup wanted to believe that his hiding spot would remain hidden but part of him didn't trust Dagur as he is unpredictable, and it could be found, maybe. The teen didn't want to take that chance, and figured it would be best to have both items with him.
Standing back up he saw his notebook resting on the desk. Hiccup wasn't sure why, but the more he looked at it the more he wanted to take it. He wasn't sure why, but something just told him to. The desire grew stronger to the point where he picked and stuffed it into his vest, along with a charcoal pen. Turning around he stopped upon seeing Toothless' rock slab on the left side of the room…the mere sight of it captivating the teen, as a sense of loneliness and concern started to swell up within him.
"Bud…I hope you're safe," Hiccup said in a somber tone, remembering how his dragon sacrificed himself in order to protect his rider. Who knows what Dagur or the others could be doing to him now…yet more importantly where is he? Hiccup would want to go find him, Hiccup just hoped they aren't hurting him, as much as he wanted to save him there was no way to determine where he could be and mounting a rescue would be hard. He's out numbered, out matched…and out of his league. As much as it pained him, he would have to leave him…no matter how much he didn't want to. Slowly his head ducked down as he tried to fight back fresh tears, "Bud...Toothless…forgive me for leaving you…"
Looking towards his bed Hiccup spotted something that made him nearly cry out in relief. Going over to the foot of his bed he found his Gronkle shield. Without thinking Hiccup automatically knew this is coming with him, thanks to its lightweight it wouldn't encumber him. Besides this shield has saved his life on many occasions. Placing it behind his back he knew it was time to leave, so he headed for his window and peered outside, but immediately ducked down.
Slowly peaking four Outcasts could be seen walking in from the forest, and unfortunately they seemed to have stopped literally in front of his window as they started making ideal chatter. Hiccup silently cursed upon seeing this, knowing that his main way of escape is now gone. "Ok, ok…go out through the front door and double back around," Hiccup said to himself as he moved away and off his bed. He could go out through the backdoor but didn't want to risk being spotted with how close they towards the back of the house. Sadly, as much of a risk it'll be the front door is his only option, so he carefully moved out of his room and down the stairs, going towards the door. His hand reached out to grab at the handle to-
*Thud* *Thud*
He froze upon hearing footsteps, ones that were very close…more precisely right behind the door! A silent gasp left his mouth as the door is pushed inward, causing Hiccup's feet to move to the side to avoid getting hit by the incoming wood. His back is then pressed against the wall with the door stopping just inches away from his face, his heart racing as he could hear someone entering the home. Yet thankfully they didn't close the door, which acted as a shield to prevent him from being seen.
"What are you doing?! Dagur said to search for that twig of an heir!" one voice spoke up, which seemed to be coming from outside the door.
"Twig? Really?" Hiccup couldn't help but think, did they really think of him like that?
"I want to finish searching this place like Dagur told me to," a second voice said, the one who entered the house.
That statement caused Hiccup's hands to curl into fists, "Ransacking my home and stealing from it?"
"Sten you're very foolish, it's best not to ignore Dagur's orders or else," the first voice said, with a bit of surprise and distress in his voice.
"This is the chief's house, if I find something valuable, which I will, he won't mind!" The second voice, who is apparently named Sten, responded back, seeming sure of himself.
"I don't care, if you get caught, I don't want to be anywhere near you," the first voice said with dismissal as another set of footsteps are heard, getting fainter with every second. "I'm going to find Berk's heir without you."
"Good luck there!" the second voice said and just like that the door was slammed shut. Hiccup stood stiff as his heart now pounded in his chest upon being fully exposed now, both eyes closed as he knew it was over….
Yet nothing happened.
A few seconds passed in confusion as Hiccup slowly opened his eyes, yet saw a Berserker a few feet away, back towards him! Did…did he not see him? How? Wait, Hiccup didn't want that question answered, better not look a gift Yak in the mouth. Yet now presented a new problem, how was he going to get out of his home? The front door is out of the question, as it'll make a noise upon opening, which will alert the intruder within the home. Plus, the main square might be flooded with the enemy once again. The teen wasn't sure if the ones by his window have moved or not, as he wasn't in a position to check, so that left the back door…which the Berserker in front of him is facing.
This isn't good at all, but he had to make a choice on an exit. Either go upstairs and risk the window or try and sneak out through the back. If he goes upstairs and finds that the men are still there, then he's stuck up in his room. If he tried for the backdoor, he could get spotted and chased. Both are bad in either way, yet one of them had to be taken. But first he's still exposed right now. Looking around quickly he spotted the table nearby, which happens to be overturned. Being quick and careful he moved over, crouching behind it for more cover with his back pressed against it. He stayed behind; sight cut off as he would need to rely on hearing for now and hope the Berserker doesn't check here. So far, he heard footsteps, followed by what sounded like rummaging, he couldn't tell. A few seconds passed as he kept on hearing this, yet not seeing is what made things unbearable. One wrong move on his part, or on the Berserker's part and he could get spotted. Deciding to take a chance, he peaked his head out from the side, eyes spotting the Berserker going through some of the baskets that were untouched on the other side of the brazier. Thankfully, his back is still facing him, which is good for the moment.
Pulling his head back and looking to the side he spotted the backdoor, it's a clear shot but the distance between is too open. There is no cover to hide behind so walking over would be too risky. Still, Sten is by the stairs, meaning his room is out of the question, so the backdoor is out of the question. Meaning he has no other choice but to head for the backdoor. This isn't going to be easy, but he would only get one shot at this.
Taking a few deep breaths, the teen tried to calm his nerves, "Please Odin, watch out for me."
Trying to steal his nerves Hiccup decided to move. Slowly getting up, he first peaked out, seeing the Berserk's back is still to him, using the chance the teen started to slowly creep out of cover. His footsteps slow and light, although he had to be careful with his metal leg as one wrong step could cause the wood to creak. Talk about enough pressure as it is. He took about seven steps and everything wis going good so far. He wasn't spotted yet but decided not to press his luck. Hiccup always had a habit of being able to sneak around, yet when it came to doing it in his very home, he was never successful. Like when his dad told him he was going to start Dragon Training, he tried sneaking up to his room but got caught before that could happen. Yet, his dad was always good at sensing what's around him. Yet in this case, the Berserker's short attention span is coming useful as Hiccup is able to slowly move across the house, getting closer, and closer to the back door. He just passed the brazier and turned his head to make sure he wasn't spotted yet. Thankfully he's still undetected and all and-
*Thud*
He froze completely, heart skipping a beat as that sound was made…but not from where the Berserker was. Unfortunately, as he walked and had his head turned, he didn't see the metal jug in his path, where his prosthetic bumped into it.
"Who's there?!" Sten called out, swiftly rising and turning around, eyes widening upon seeing the teen. "YOU!"
"AH!" Hiccup stumbled back at the words, falling down as he tripped over his feet. He's now fully exposed as the man's eyes locked on with him.
Acting swiftly Sten rushed forward, reaching out to grab the kid, but Hiccup pulled out his shield and used it as a barrier between the two of them. Those strong hand gripped the edge's and tried throwing it to the side, but Hiccup had a strong grip on it as well. He wasn't even sure how he's still holding onto his shield, maybe it was luck, or maybe it was because of his desire to keep away. Whatever it was he kept on doing it. Acting quickly the teen used his metal leg and kicked at the man's unprotected shin.
"GYAAH!" Sten cried out in pain, hands retreating back.
The shield was released as the Berserker hopped up and down on one foot, hands clutching the throbbing limb. Hiccup quickly backed up away from the man, too stunned to get back at his feet, "Move Hiccup, Move!" he mentally shouted to himself.
"He's in here!" Sten managed to shout out through his pain, now making Hiccup's heart skip a beat. This just made him freeze even more now, as a couple of seconds passed before the Berserker's leg seemed to stop throbbing as he put it down and is slowly moving forward, with a limp, "GET IN HERE!"
Hiccup had to think of something fast or else he'll get caught…oh why isn't his body responding to get up? It was like his body wasn't receiving the messages his brain is sending. Yet all of a sudden it then went on autopilot as he then moved his shield back in front of him and pressed one of the buttons. The center of the shield opened as one of the bolas launched out. Thanks to the small distance it was shot out it wasn't able to open up, but the force of it smacked the Berserker right in the face. The result seemed to have worked as he seemed to be stunned and stumble backwards!
His foot then bumped into a bucket on the floor causing him to fall back. "Whoa! AHHHHHHHHHHH!" he cried after hitting the floor, his right arm falling back and landing right into the brasier! The smoldering ash somehow was stoked back up, and started to burn the flesh upon contact.
The screams seemed to be enough to jumpstart Hiccup's body into gear as he finally got to his feet. He eyed the bola as it was now lying on the floor close by, he quickly snatched it up and ran for the backdoor, just as the front door burst open as more Berserkers filled the room. "What's going on!?"
"Get him, GET HIM!" Sten shouted out loud, making Hiccup's heart nearly beat out of his chest.
He burst out of the backdoor and bolted straight for the forest before him, not looking back at all. He pushed his legs as hard as he can and in a matter of moments, he approached the tree lining. He knew it was a stupid move, but he took a glance over his shoulder, big mistake. The two Berserkers that were in the house were chasing after him but were still a good distance away. They were running after him, yet slowly were gaining on him, since they were larger their legs were stronger so it could push them even more. Yet Hiccup had noticed that their heavier frames slowed them down some, which aided some.
Hiccup kept his eyes forward as he started to pass through the trees, hoping that these could be use to cut off visibility. Taking the chance once again he looked behind his shoulder to see if he put any distance between them. It was then both eyes widened as one of them raised a crossbow and just like that Hiccup heard and felt something whirling past his head as an arrow embedded itself in a tree in front of him.
"Oh Thor!" Hiccup said to himself as he's being shot at now.
"Idiot, Dagur wants him alive!" one of the Berserkers shouted.
"He will be!" the second one responded back, reloading the crossbow mid-run.
Now that his life is in danger once again Hiccup dodged and weaved through the trees, trying to lose them once again, but most of all trying to dodge the arrows that are flying at him. A small grunt left his mouth as with the added weight of the bag it made it a bit tougher, still he's doing his best. Looking back, he could see his pursuers gaining on him still, something has to be done to put more distance between them. He wouldn't be able to run forever and wasn't sure if overall if he could lose them. Looking up at the trees ahead, the teen spotted one with a heavy looking branch…which looks like it's hanging off the tree itself. An idea came to him, as he quickly remembered on Dragon Island with Dagur…maybe it can work on here.
Grabbing his shield, he skidded to a stop and turned as he passed the tree by a few yards. Aiming it up he fired the grappling line, watching the rope wrap around the tree branch and with a large tug it broke off from the tree and plummeted down towards the ground, right on his pursuers.
*crash!*
"GYAHH!" It unfortunately landed on only one of the Berserkers, pinning him down. Hiccup quickly retracted the grappling hook back as it loosened and unhooked itself from the branch. Time seemed to freeze as he's now stuck with one lone Berserker…who is looking right at him! "Get him!" the downed man shouted. Unfortunately, the Berserker that is free happens to be the one holding the crossbow. His face dropped into a scowl as he took off, as did Hiccup as he bolted once more, with one less pursuer. Thankfully, the teen managed to get a bit more distance away from the man, but it didn't mean he wasn't out of eye range.
*Whoosh!*
Another arrow flew by Hiccup as it embedded itself in another tree, missing him once more. The panic in Hiccup grew even more as now as that arrow was more accurate. The Berserker chasing him cursed at this as he reloaded and ran at the same time. Once another arrow is loaded, he took aim once more. Hiccup tried to recall where he was and thankfully, he knew the area. He was about to come to a steep slope, if he could slide down it then chances are, he could put a considerable distance between him and his pursuer. Mustering up whatever energy he could get, he pushed his legs as much as he could, now feeling a familiar burn starting to be sparked in his lungs and stump. Still, with the excess speed he could see the slope, just a few more feet before he could-
*Ping!*
All of a sudden something hit Hiccup's metal foot, the Berserker firing another arrow as the metal tip made contact with it. The force of the arrow's impact caused the teen to lose his balance, his left leg being propelled forward as he fell back, the momentum propelling him forward and over the edge of the slope.
"ARGH!" Hiccup cried out as he rolled down the slope, picking up speed as he did. The descent down was fast but also long, and bumpy as he felt his body hitting the ground as small bits of pain radiated off his body. As quickly as it started, it came to an end as he slowed down until he came to a complete stop at the bottom, rolling away a few yards as the momentum is gone. His whole world spinning as he tried to compose himself, but other than being dizzy his body ached from the fall and tumble. He had no idea how much time passed but once he managed to right himself his body froze as he heard him.
"Gotcha!" the Berserker said but his voice seemed far, prompting Hiccup to look up at the top of the slope, seeing the man standing there for a moment before hopping over and sliding down the slope on his feet.
The realization came back to the teen as he saw him quickly approaching. He tried getting up, but the blow to his left leg and the fall made that difficult. This wasn't good, he's stuck like this, basically like a downed dragon, and his pursuer is approaching fast. Hiccup tried crawling away, but he didn't get as far, as the distance is quickly closing. He had to do something, anything, but he had no ideas. Both eyes looked around the area for something that could help him, but nothing came at all….that is until he found an arrow a few feet away. Both eyes widened upon realizing that must have been the same arrow that hit his prosthetic. It was surprisingly still in tack, yet how did it get down here? It was then a sudden thought came to mind, but…he wasn't sure about it.
There was no time to contemplate the situation as he needed to do something as the Berserker is almost here. He wasn't sure why, but his body once again went on autopilot as he scrambled for the arrow, grabbing it before pulling out his shield again. Pressing another button, it then opened up into his crossbow configuration. By then the Berserker made it to the bottom of the slope and charged him, quickly closing the distance within seconds. Hiccup had no time to think as he threaded the arrow onto his weapon and pulled it back, aiming quickly at the incoming Berserker.
Dread filled him as he turned his head to the side, both eyes closed, as Hiccup released the draw string.
A/N: Hope you like, the ending left on a huge suspenseful note am I right? Well i'm sorry for that but I thought it would be a good touch. Like before if you have any questions please let me know. And tell me how i'm doing, i appreciate the feedback. Till next time.
