After the death of Cell and Gordanians, Earth is becoming more peaceful. Cities that Android 17 and 18 destroyed are almost repaired and people are moving back in after years of hiding in the countryside. In the Capsule Corp building, Bulma is on the computer going over the trucks delivering food and medicine. She looks at the monitors and sees two trucks go missing. "That's odd. I should tell Trunks to deal with this but oooo…. Ruining his date would be terrible."
Above South City, Trunks and Starfire are flying to it for Starfire's tour around the planet. Trunks has taken off Saiyan armor and is wearing his purple jacket and baggy pants now. He even got a haircut so it is short again. Starfire meanwhile, took off her prison outfit and is wearing a purple top and skirt with boots. Though Trunks felt lightheaded when she began to change right in front of him back in Capsule Corp. Luckily Bulma was able to guide her to the changing room.
"And this is South City. They have great ice cream." Trunks and Starfire are above the city. The half-Saiyan is showing the princess the cities and she looks excited. "The Cream of Ice sounds delightful."
They enter the well known Satan Goods shop and order the ice cream but Starfire looks guilty as they sit to wait for their dessert. "I'm sorry Trunks. I didn't know that changing in front of you is rude on Earth."
"It is okay. There are just some things me and mom need to teach you on Earth. Let's just talk about something else." Trunks hides his blush as they get their ice cream thanks to the waitress Videl. The Banana Split is a majestic dish that makes Starfire drool.
"You know something funny. The owner of this place used to be a martial artist but after the Androids beat him up, he decided to create this place to give people a smile." He takes a bite and enjoys it. Starfire is interested in the story. "That reminds me of the man in red. He travels around planets, delivering toys and candy to good children. I always get toys but my sister gets coal every year."
"Huh… That sounds like-" Trunks stops once he senses a presence outside. They look out the window and see a man with a silver body.
"Die Troq, Monkey." He fires an energy blast at the restaurant, causing a huge explosion. He smirks at the destruction but loses it once Trunks and Starfire jump out of the fire holding Mr Satan and Videl. They place them down and the two go against this attacker.
"The Saiyan-Tamaranean criminal couple. I am Captain Val-Yor of the Galactic Patrol and you are under arrest for attacking and destroying over a dozen planets."
"What are you talking about? We never left the planet together."
"Don't lie to me! You both shall fall to Captain Val-Yor, the greatest Galactic Patrolman and I shall kill you crimi-" Suddenly Trunks disappears from sight and dives his elbow into Val-Yor's stomach. The self-proclaimed greatest Galactic Patrolman feels bile coming out of his mouth and falls to the ground with his ass in the air. Starfire cannot believe that he has defeated a Patrolman with a single move.
"Trunks! You shouldn't have knocked out a space policeman. You may get in trouble."
"I'm sorry Star but he wanted to hurt us by destroying a restaurant with us in it. Plus it seems he was saying racist. Calling Saiyans monkeys is bad. So Troq must be just as terrible to you." Trunks defends his actions but Starfire shakes her head. She picks him up and begins to float.
"Even so, hurting someone for what they say is just making them seem right. Our answer shouldn't be violence first. I'm going to his ship and transport him to his superiors. I'll head to Capsule Corp later Trunks." Saying her piece, Starfire takes the knocked out captain and flies away. This leaves Trunks alone and he looks at his hands ashamed.
After putting Val-Yor into his ship and launching it into space, Starfire goes into Capsule Corp house. She turns on the light to see Trunks sitting on a chair. "Hey there Starfire."
"Greetings Trunks." She said, looking away from him. The half-Saiyan gets up and goes to her.
"I'm sorry Star. Fighting has always been the first option in my life. Maybe I could've stopped the Androids if we just talked. But you are right. We should offer villains the chance to stop."
"Thank you Trunks. If the bad people refuse to stop then we can, as you humans say, kick their asses." Starfire and Trunks stare into eachother and laugh together. But something in both of their minds gives them uneasiness: Who was Val-Yor talking about?
The Galactic Patrolman punches his monitor in frustration. He was defeated by those criminals. "Damn those troq and monkey! I must go back to Earth and make them pay!"
"To all Galactic Patrolmen!" The communicator comes alive. "The Saiyan-Tamaranean criminal couple has been sighted on Planet Oa! The Green Lanterns need assistance!"
Captain Val-Yor plots a course to Oa, believing that Trunks and Starfire are the attackers. He will not fail this time.
Hal Jordan creates a minigun construct and fires rapidly at the invaders as Sayd empowers his power ring. Below them are Hal's dead teammates Kilowog and Sinestro. Both of them fell along with the others when these attackers came to the world of the Green Lanterns. The last Guardian sees others and tries to warn Hal but is suddenly hit by an energy blast. Jordan feels his ring lose power and is weakened. But he tries to make one final attack; however something lands on his outfit and he turns to stone. An evil laugh can be heard on the battlefield as four figures show themselves. The smallest of them leads these invaders and gloats at Sayd.
"Haha! Such pathetic Protectors of the Universe. To think my father was killed by you little imps."
"Curse you to the deepest pits of hell, Babidi. You cannot imagine the destruction Majin Buu will bring if you revive him." Sayd insults the son of Bibidi, who smiles at the warning.
"Good. Finish her off, Tarble." He orders the Saiyan who fires a Galick Gun to end the last guardian. They look up to see a fleet of Galactic Patrol coming towards Oa with Captain Val-Yor leading them. The wizard isn't intimidated and orders his minion.
"Destroy the fleet, Blackfire." She nods and creates a giant energy bolt. "Purple Rage!"
Val-Yor shouts in pain as the fleet and himself are destroyed in an instant. Babidi leaves with his minions Dabura, Tarble and Blackfire for one destination where Majin Buu is hidden: Earth.
