Zurg returned to the lab in the tower, it was specialized adapted for the sake of a being that required oxygen. Sweet oxygen that allowed for life to spread on numerous worlds, for life to fight again another day to survive, to live, the emperor saw the potential solution on the drawing board as dictated by the brain pods over the grimaces of the grubs. Fortunately for him, the grubs could live in a environment hostile for humans with how industrial it were and resilient they were.

It would take weeks to make the age-fi-cation chamber to be created with the trial and error until it worked as effective as it should, the short term solution was on the drawing board that looked quite faulty and quite possible with it's risks. The emperor rubbed the chin section of his helm then shifted toward the grubs.

"Let's try the short term solution." Zurg decided.

"Yes!" the grubs and the brain pods announced

Then Zurg added pointing at the brainpods with a claw.

"If the clone dies, whoever suggested this idea will DIE a short and painful death!" Zurg threatened.

"It won't!" was the assurance.

"Good, now get to work! Next, the Noserferti, that project, is it done?"

"We finished it after you left." was the comment by one of the brainpods.

"Excellent!" Zurg tapped his fingers together with a evil laugh. "Attempting to take over Star command," The emperor cackled in glee as his shoulders trembled. "my favorite hobby!" then he paused setting his hips on his waist. "Well damn! I don't have a trusted goon to perform a vital part of the plan."

The Emperor turned away as a evil idea came across his processor.

"Looks like I have to do the unexpected." Then he shifted aside toward the brainpods then pointed a fine long claw. "Start cloning."

Star Cruiser 21 awaited at a uncharted moon performing a rescue operation for hikers who had the unfortunate luck of hiking a very deep crater that was more like a cliff. The hired goon crept behind a large boulder, observing, quietly, then gazed toward the coffin beside her. It was a simple job, get the coffin in, make sure that nobody sees her, and slip out of the blue.

She carried the light weight box inside then carefully placed it down into the compartment. Emperor Zurg paid well, damn well, for her liking. A one time job, Zurg had stressed. He had also insisted that no one was going to die, even among her skepticism with how often Team Darkmatter were put into life and death situations orchestrated that nearly left them passing on to beyond joining Buzz Lightyear. And yet, he sounded sincere. He paid well. She wanted to believe that things would be fine and a part of her was frightened this cargo could cause another tragedy and she would be partially to blame.

She shoved the anxiety down then exited the craft.

"Barlos Methane, mission has been carried out."

"Your funds have been wired, Barlos Methane." Zurg replied then waved back at her. "Farewell."

Zurg's helm vanished off her comn.

Zurg screamed, tearing off his helmet, throwing it afar. In the tube laid two crying little girls with matted hair, one had brown hair, and the other had blue hair. A grub picked up the helmet then walked over to the screaming emperor then handed it over. Zurg put the helmet back on.

"IT DID NOT WORK!"

"We can try again."

"Fine, but if it does not work, the person who made that idea must pay severely!"

"It was his idea to rush the short term." The grubs pointed at the village idiot.

Zurg loomed over the village idiot then his laser blaster shifted into stealth mode then aimed and fired. The grub fell into the arms of the others as the brain pods had a collective sigh of relief that it wasn't them. Zurg shifted his attention toward the wailing two babies in the same tube. He reached a claw out then it was caught and the child refused to let go of the grip. He slid the infant's grip off his claw then sighed, irritated.

"No more village idiots." Zurg said.

"No more village idiots, yes, sir." the grub's saluted then departed.

Zurg picked up the two bundles into his arms.

"And someone get me two infant space suits!" Zurg demanded.

The infants were transported via cloaking device aboard Zurg's spacecraft. They slept soundly in their cribs after being fed fresh breast milk. The emperor awaited for the ride to end with his arms folded against his chest, impatiently. The ship landed in the early morning when the sun was arising, in the middle of the road. Except the ship was surrounded by buffalo.

Zurg exited the ship with a larger basket, then looked down back toward the infant girls, feeling immense sorrow, the Lightyear clan had grown to three generations without a father on Morph. His shoulders raised then twirled around the buffalo carefully handling the precious basket. The little girls, in the emperor's view, didn't have a strong resemblance to their father so it wasn't quite obvious that they were his clones and decisively not to injure their features.

Zurg set the basket on the front door then pressed the doorbell. The emperor sprinted fast as his long skinny legs could carry him beneath the long skirt with a cloaking device wrapped around his wrist. From afar, Nana opened the door then gazed upon the children and gasped. Her eyes lit up as she picked up the basket.

"Chari and Hoichi, aren't you two adorable?"

The little girls wailed as she went back inside.

Two more pieces of Buzz Lightyear to spend a little more time with, how many was Zurg going to make?

Weeks passed, Nana's house had three wailing children that brought her boredom to a complete end, Quark needed the most care, his strange medical condition regarding his forehead puzzled the doctors who indicated that plastic surgery should be opted to repair the unexpected damage to his skin. In the end, Nana loved him just the way that he were and had his wound left as a additional feature about him. When Quark smiled, she could see her grandson in him.

It was as if raising Buzz again and the steps that took to raise him, Nana looked forward to that part, she would do the same thing all over again being the best grandmother there was and teaching him responsibility like his siblings. Warp called her when the children were asleep and they talked about Buzz, it was nice, to have that, he made sure to call her often after finally coming to her.

The only regret that she had was not nudging Buzz to come out of his personal closet and made his relationship with Warp official. She would do better this time around making sure the children got that nudge, Space Ranger or not, time was very little when those were busy and wedged deeply into their plot course that all it took was locking them in a supply closet that she did once with Ion and his significant other. Warp got to have years with Buzz, precious memories rendered into hours, spending a long time by his side that it served as a consolation gift.

The door bell rung on the one year anniversary of Buzz Lightyear's death. It had to be Warp, he always came over when the children were fast asleep and talked. Notably always when he didn't contact her through the comn. She flung the door open, then looked down, observing two baskets, then looked up spotting mountain goats smacking their forehead against thin air. Nana had a laugh then gazed down toward the baskets with two additional children laid inside quite unnaturally big and peacefully asleep.

She whistled picking up the baskets, by hand, then closed the door behind her, satisfied. She didn't mind where the babies were coming from, only that her grandson was going to be around her till the end of her days, visiting her from time to time, as mere shadows, as mere mirages, as mere illusions, he wasn't going to be really gone. She set the baskets on the couch then inspected their diapers and the infants for any wounds left behind to obscure that they were undoubtedly clones of their father. None to her knowledge.

And she had two little boys to add to her collection in a quite impressive feat from space.

"You two look like a Oort and a Gamma." Nana said.

She felt a cold chill come down her shoulder down to her hand.

Buzz would have approved.

Nana broke into tears.

A/N Little girls are named after 2 SpaceX astronauts.

I just really wanted a excuse to name SpaceX astronauts because they're part of humanity's voyage to the stars, that will spread across the galaxy, fell in love with aliens and have hybrid children because they love each other very much. And what I am saying is that it's probably a common occurance to find Star Command full of hybrids. Hoichi was supposed to be Soichi but I kept spelling it incorrectly this entire story and didn't wanna fix it, so therefore, we got Hoichi.

boys named by soulangea; Oort & Gamma
