Back on the island late at night, Midoriya was leading the others towards Techno's headquarters. Their route leads them to the edge of the island where a rail line was located.
Ochako used her Quirk and they began to float down, then she deactivated it once they're on top of a tree.
They saw the transport shuttle coming towards them, then Shoji jumped on top of it, creating a dent, and he tossed two guards away.
The rest got in the shuttle, and Shoji punched the ceiling to make room. As the shuttle rounded a corner they, off the distance, a large security gate with a guard on either side of it.
Over at the gate, the guards remained vigilant at their posts when they noticed something small and sparking coming towards them. They looked down in confusion to see a small scrap of metal and wires attached to the rail as it drifted past them. They stared at the oddity until they heard a grunt off in the distance, causing them to raise their guns and stare into the darkness, completely oblivious to the giant shuttle coming down from the heavens and crashing into both of them and the gate, flattening all.
Continuing on foot, the group eventually reached the facility.
Midoriya and the group are hiding in the bushes next to the building which was surrounded by guards. Sato found a coconut and threw it to the guard at the balcony. The guard grunted and fell off from the balcony. The other guards rushed to him, leaving their post to check on the fallen guard. Then they ran up to the vehicle after the ambulance left.
Now inside the facility, the heroes found themselves in a maze of silent tunnels, the distant chattering of guards coming from all directions.
Eventually, Midoriya lead his friends to the dining room. And noticed that there's no one there.
Shoji and Sato grabbed a statue to use it as a battering ram. As they got ready to plunge the statue into the flow. But just as they were about to the lava began to split open.
They almost dropped the statue as they were forced to reel it back, the group scrambling in a panic to get out of sight as Malinda exited the walkway barely noticing the group behind the statue. The woman glanced in their direction for a moment before leaving the room.
They began sprinting into the walkway. However, as they were about halfway there the walls began to close in on them. Then Connor uses his Quirk to get them out, just before the walls close.
Suddenly, a row of light lit up walkway leading to a spotlight as illuminating a large computer keyboard.
Nobody spoke as they approached the console, Midoriya pressed a button which caused a giant screen to light in front of them that it must have a password.
He began to think, and Midoriya typed in MEGAS. The password was accepted as the screen changed, much to his delight.
Back in A's lab, Faith was on the phone and was calling for her friend's office in Protector Care to find out where he was.
"Hello, this is Faith Vasser," Faith said as she was on the phone with Connor's work, unknown that he had last his job. "Connor Nickell is my friend. I was wondering if you could give me the number of the hotel he's staying at. The number I have is no good."
'Mr. Nickell no longer works at Protector Care.' the secretary said.
"What do you mean," Faith asked in shock. "He's on a business trip a company retreat," she said.
'My records say his employment was terminated almost two months ago.'
Midoriya scrolled down to the 'heroes' option and hit enter which took them to a page displaying two images.
Two diagrams show that the first Megadrones killed high-ranking military officers, with only the occasional few succeeding in destroying the earlier prototypes only to later be killed by an upgraded version, just as Techno had done with the Young Heroes.
The enlightenment had pushed Faith's growing worries to the edge of certainty and all it would take to push her over it was in the hands of Anna.
While the heroes kept watching the diagrams of soldiers who lost their lives to Megadrones.
"So you don't know vhere he is?" A came behind the young woman. "Vould you like to find out?" A held up a homing device to the young woman.
Midoriya was now searching particular heroes that hadn't show up on Techno's list of victims. He started with Stretch Girl and found, much to everyone's relief, that the Quirker's location was unknown, though they soon found Icer's location was known after searching his name. And upon typing their own names, they discovered that Techno did indeed think he had killed them during their last encounter.
A handed the homing device to the desperate Faith.
Midoriya clicked on 'Island Operations' to learn just what Techno was planning to do with the Megadrone. What he found shocked him and the others to their cores as the steps of 'Operation Megas' were laid bare.
The final screen displayed a countdown to launch which was currently 8 hours and counting. The heroes stared at the clock as the weight of Techno's scheme hit them like a punch to the gut, they began to hurry for the exit.
Desperate to find her friend, Faith pressed the button and saw that his location is in Uninhabited Island.
Suddenly, Connor's watch went off and the lights shot on and the heroes felt busted instantly.
Rows of cannons emerged from either side of the room before one of them fired a slimeball at Connor. He removed it and it was expanding like a balloon. Unable to shake it off, another slimeball hit him.
They began to sprint as more of those slimeballs. The heroes weren't fairing well as more and more sticky balls continued to attach to their bodies, until all of them were immobilized, trapped on their expanding gelatinous prisons. Before their vision was completely obscured, the last thing they saw were a pair of legs walking toward them.
Faith was now sobbing as A continued to give her tissues. A looked mildly disgusted and annoyed with her tears.
"Oh, I am such an idiot. I let this happen, you know. The new sports cars, the getting in shape, the brown hair, the lies!" said Faith.
"Yes, he wants to relive zhe past." A said as she brushed the tissues into a small incinerator.
"Now I'm losing him!" Faith became emotional. "What'll I do?"
"Vhat are you talking about?" A glared to the weeping woman beforwe leaping onto the counter and stomping up to Faith. "YOU ARE MORPH GIRL! MY GOD, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!" she shouted, emphasizing every word by hitting Faith over the head with a rolled-up newspaper.
"Vhat Vill you do? Is-is-is zhis a question? you vill show him you remember that he vants to be Energy Man, nd you vill remind him who you are! Vell, you know vhere he is, go, confront zhe problem. FIGHT WIN!" she then dropped her voice low pleasantly. "And call me vhen you get back, darling, I enjoy our visits."
