Back out at sea, Faith looked up at the smoke trait left behind by the missiles.

"Those were short-range missiles, land-based. That way is our best bet."

"You want us to go toward? The people that tried to kill us?" Owen asked in disbelief.

"If it means land, yes."

"You expect us to swim there?" Georgia questioned to which Faith replied with a calming smile.

"I expect you... to trust me."

Then they followed the smoke, where Faith shaped her elastic body into a life raft with Georgia on her back and Owen acting like a motor kicking his wheeled legs.

It took them a while but Faith and her friends finally reached solid ground, she allowed her body to return to its original shape while Owen collapsed on his back, panting heavily from all the kicking.

"What a trooper. I'm so proud of you." She beamed at Owen who gave her an exhausted smile in return.

"Thanks, Faith," he said.

Later, they made a hideout in a cave.

"I think, your brother is in trouble," said Faith.

"You haven't noticed Faith, we're not doing so hot either," Georgia noted.

"I'm going to find him. And that means you're in charge until I get back, Georgia."

"What?!" Owen whined while Georgia gave him a smug grin.

"You heard her." Fath then reached into her pocket before bringing out masks, two of which she handed to her friends.

"Put these on. Your identity is your most valuable possession. Protect it." she said to them firmly. "And if anything bad happens, use your powers."

"But Faith, you said not to-"

"I know what I said!" Faith cut Georgia off, growing frustrated from repeating herself. She sighed as she thought of how to explain the situation to her friends. "Remember the bad guys on those shows you used to watch on Saturday mornings? Well, these guys aren't like those guys. They won't exercise restraint because you're children. They will kill you if they get the chance. Do not give them that chance."

"Faith? There's something I-"

"Georgia, I'm counting on you-"

"There's something I-"

"I'm counting on you to be strong," Faith said firmly before addressing to Owen. "Owen, if anything goes wrong, I want you to run as fast as you can."

"As fast as I can?!" Owen beamed in a moment of excitement.

"As fast as you can." she smiled before embracing both of them. "Stay hidden, keep each other safe and I'll be back by morning."

Faith got out of the cave. Th ough she hadn't gone more than a few meters when a voice called out.

"Faith!" Faith turned to see Georgia running up to her. "Faith, what happened on the plane. I'm sorry. I-I wanted to help. I mean, when you asked me to... I'm sorry." The girl apologized shamefully as Faith consoled her.

"Shh. It isn't your fault. It wasn't fair for me to suddenly ask so much of you. But things are different now. And doubt is a luxury we can't afford anymore, Georgia. You have more power than you realize. Don't think. And don't worry. If the time comes, you'll know what to do. It's in your blood."

Faith carried on, leaving Georgia behind to watch her go as she put on her eye mask.
