(Kendra Pov)

I woke up with a major headache. Keeping my eyes closed, I sat up holding my head in my hands with only one question on my mind. What Happened?

The last thing I could remember was that guy…

My eyes shot open as I looked around the room I was in. I remembered being kidnapped by Seth...My Brother.

Did my parents really get rid of Seth? Or was he just lying to make me trust him? My parents did look worried.

I grabbed my head in pain. This was all too much for me right now.

Slowly and carefully, I stood up and finally got a good look around the room. I gasped in surprise. I had expected to be in a dungeon, but this definitely wasn't a dungeon. It was a bit smaller than my old room, but was still a decent size. The walls were painted a light teal color, and with silver accents. The curtains were a sparkly silver color. The carpet was a soft, grey color. All in all, it was a beautiful room.

"I hope you like it."

(No one Pov)

Kendra spun around and there in the doorway was Seth. She started to walk backwards and grabbed the nearest thing to her which conveniently was a fireplace poker.

"Don't come near me!" She said trying to sound braver than she actually was.

Seth frowned. "Kendra, put the stick down before you hurt yourself...please."

"Who are you and what do you want with me!" Kendra seethed, gripping the stick tighter and taking another step back.

"My name is Seth Sorenson. I'm your brother! Can't you see family the resemblance!" He said desperately.

Kendra looked at him for a minute. We did kinda look alike. "It's a coincidence! Mom and Dad would never lie to me! They would never get rid of my brother! They would never do this to me!" Kendra said mostly to reassure herself.

Seth took a few steps towards Kendra to comfort her, which was a big mistake because she exploded. "I said don't come near me!" She swung the stick at him, aiming for his head.

Seth quickly ducked and grabbed the fire poker from her hand.

Kendra fell to her knees and started to cry. "I just want to go home."

Seth looked down at her with pity in his eyes. Then he knelt down beside her. "Look Kendra, I'm really sorry. I'll try to make this trip as short as possible, but we really do need your help."

Kendra looked at him and sniffled. "A-Are you r-really m-my b-brother?"

Seth nodded his head. "It's not the reunion I imagined but-"

He was cut off by Kendra giving him a hug. "I'm sorry I never knew about you."

Seth was shocked at first but soon hugged her back, "I'm sorry too...But, now you do. And that's all that matters."

After a few minutes of just sitting there, Kendra pulled away from the hug. "So, why am I here?"

"You'll find out everything, but first it's time for you to meet the Captain of the Knights of Dawn."

Kendra raised an eyebrow, "But you said you were the Captain of the Knight of Dawn!"

Seth nodded. "I did. The real Captain is training me to become the next Captain of the Knights of Dawn. I'm just a lieutenant. But sometimes I use his title for fun." He gave a sly smile. "Come on, they're eager to meet you."

(Time Skip)

(Kendra Pov)

We stopped in front of a large double door. "Is this it?" I asked.

Seth nodded, "You ready?"

I nodded my head nervously.

Seth knocked on the door. "Come in!" Someone on the other side replied.

The doors opened and we walked through.

"Captain, the mission was successful."

"At ease Seth." A man said, rolling his eyes.

"Yes Grandpa."

I went wide eyed. Grandpa! If that man was Seth's Grandpa, that meant…

"Hello Kendra. It's nice to finally meet my Granddaughter."

"Grandpa?"

"Oh look at her Stan, isn't she just darling!" A woman said, who I assumed was my grandmother.

I looked around, finally noticing other people in the room. 5 not including my grandparents.

"Oh let me introduce you to everyone!" Seth said excitedly. He pointed to a large Samoan guy, "This is Tanu, he's like the Knights Nurse, but also makes cool elixirs that do different things."

Tanu bowed, "It's a pleasure to meet you Princesses Kendra."

"The pleasure is mine. And just Kendra will do."

He nodded and Seth moved to the next person. "This is Warren, he specialized in weapons and getting injured each mission."

"Seth! You know that's not true!" Warren growled

Seth smirked, "Uh huh...And I'm dating Vanessa!"

"Seth! I'm going to kick your butt!" He then turned to me, "I'm sorry, ignore Seth. It's a pleasure to finally meet my third cousin!"

We moved onto the next person, "This is Dale, he's Warren's older brother, and is kinda like the strategist."

"Hello Kendra." He smiled warmly.

I smiled back, and Seth leaned over and whispered in my ear, "He's not one for words."

I nodded and we moved to the next person. "This is Vanessa, trained assassin and Warren's Girlfriend."

"SETH!" Warren and Vanessa both yelled, both of their faces going pink.

Seth snickered as Vanessa introduced herself, "Hi Kendra! Thank goodness there's another girl around here. I'm getting sick of all these boys." She glared at Seth.

I giggled, "It's really nice to meet you Vanessa."

We finally moved to the last person. Something about this boy caught Kendra's attention. Maybe it was his unnatural silver hair, or the way he smiled at her, or maybe that his eyes seemed so...familiar.

"Last but not least this is-"

"Hi I'm Bracken, it's nice to meet you." He took her hand and gave it a kiss.

I blushed and looked at him for a moment. "You were the one that caught me when I fell unconscious. I recognize your silver eyes."

"Well, hopefully we'll get to know each other better since it appears you've already fallen for me." He said teasingly with wonder in his eyes.

I blushed even harder, "Maybe."

(Seth Pov)

At first I was upset that Bracken had interrupted me, but after he and Kendra started flirting, I started to find myself smirking at them.

This is going to be fun.

(Ronodin Pov)

"My Princess was kidnapped by savages! I want her safely returned! Go and find her!" Ronodin shouted at his guards.

He left and walked back to his palace. MY princess was taken from me and I intend to get her back! Even if I have to destroy the whole kingdom to do it!

Not many people knew this, but it was his idea to get married to Kendra. Ever since they first met, he knew that she would be his whether she liked it or not.

Don't worry love, I'm coming for you. And I'll make sure that the people who took you away from me pay.
