At the bottom of the sea, there was a lone ship, that which had barnacles sprouting from the abundant cracks in its hull. A tattered black flag hung from a broken mast, the flag itself having the likeness of Chris McLean on it…though the one on the flag had a massive beard. He looked like a true pirate pioneer, rather than some silly reality TV host. On the ship itself, there were two people, each of them wearing diving suits. One of them was none other than Poseidon, while the other was his lovely assistant, Amphitrite. Not too far off, shining a spotlight right on the two of them, was a submarine, being piloted by Chef Hatchet while the show's host, Chris McLean himself, sat off to the side, drinking a hot cup of coffee.
"You know, Chris, I never knew that you actually had a pirate ancestor…more or less that his ship crashed so close to Atlantis." Poseidon glanced about the shabby deck of the ship, noticing how dilapidated it was and gulping nervously. "Are you sure it's alright for us to be defiling…well, rummaging around the sight of his untimely demise?"
"Psh, it'll be fine, you worrywart." Chris took a final swig from his mug, tossing it aside as there was no more coffee within it. The cup crashed against the submarine's wall, causing Chef to roll his eyes in annoyance. "If there's any lesson to be learned from my great, great, great, great, great grandfather, it's that there is always good reason to rummage through a dead guy's belongings. He's dead, so what's he gonna do about it?"
"Ah…I guess you have some sort of point there. I don't know, it still feels rather weird to me, but as long as the kids don't get hurt." Poseidon looked up at the mast, which came crashing down and broke through the musty floorboards. "...On second thought, maybe we should-"
"Ah, quit your whining! Those kids have got young bones, who cares if they break one or two of them?" Chris's general disregard for the safety of his own contestants was always something that seemed to get on Poseidon's nerves, and this time was no exception. The CEO furrowed his brow beneath his helmet, though Chris couldn't notice from where he was. "Anywho, I need to get on the road with my recap so we can get rid of another one of these clowns! Last time on Total Drama: Lost City, I finally decided that I had had enough of our teams, so I split 'em up! We crammed all the dudes, plus returnee Benjamin, into the former Cosmic Crabs' hut, with all the girls, and returnee March, moving to the former Atomic Sharks' base of operations. Both sides had some wild introductions, but nothing as wild as seeing surfing legend: Joey Hawk! …Who am I kidding, that wasn't that wild. The dude was forced, er, I mean offered to help with our challenge, a contest to see who the best surfer was. The best four performers had a chance to win a ticket to save themselves from elimination, but also, one of those top performers would be eliminated if they failed in the second half of the challenge! Unfortunately, due to a sleek sabotage from Amelia, Flint found himself sinking out of the competition! We're down to the final thirteen, and things are only gonna get more heated from here on out! Who will be the next to be fired from our metaphorical cannon? Find out, right now, on Total Drama: Lost City!"
The camera hovered over an ocean, quickly descending beneath the water and happening upon Atlantis, zooming in on the wreck of the Chris space station, where the host himself was on his knees, sad that there was an asteroid in his face, while Poseidon patted him on the shoulder and Amphitrite sighed in annoyance.
"Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine," the camera quickly shifted over to the carnival zone in Atlantis, showing Natt and Anne on a large Ferris wheel, enjoying their time together until it suddenly fell out of place and rolled away.
"You guys are on my mind," down at the controls, Zachary and Amelia were revealed to be messing with them, laughing maniacally until Vicente came over and bonked both of them on the head with plastic baseball bats.
"You asked me what I wanted to be and I think the answer's plain to see," in one of the carnival tents, March and Luna watched Benjamin in awe as he rode a unicycle while bouncing on a trampoline, juggling bowling pins, and holding a torch with his teeth.
"I wanna be famous!" Tony tossed a frisbee at the wheel, causing Benjamin to fall on top of an unsuspecting Bonnie, and the torch to set his shirt on fire before the bowling pins landed on his head, which caused Liz to give him a thumbs up with an evil grin on her face.
"I wanna live close to the sun," out in the ocean, Alex was in his diving suit, trying to catch a sea monkey, but failing utterly, just like he had when it was a space monkey, while Dusty shook her head in disappointment, lassoing the creature back to them, but catching Jett instead.
"So pack your bags, cause I've already won," on the seafloor, Archie studied a squid closely until it shot ink all over his helmet's glass shield, which made Jianne giggle a little bit before wiping it off.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way, I'll get there one day," not too far from where the two were, Damien and Gretchen ran away from a massive shark, which knocked them off to the side, showing that it was swimming away from Flint, who was throwing rocks at it while Alexis chased after him.
"I wanna be famous!" the camera switched gears to show a submarine, with arcade-esque machines in it that Taylor and Crustacean were fighting over.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na," zooming into a "pod" of sorts near the arcade games, a virtual world that was full of immaculate fantasy aspects and monsters was shown.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!" Nicolás, dressed as a knight, was running in fear as blasts of dark energy were tossed at the ground behind him, each blast destroying part of the ground.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!" the camera revealed Thomas, in dark mage garb, as the source of the blasts, floating in the sky and laughing maniacally until Maggie, dressed as a witch, flew over to him on her broom and tackled him to the ground, making out with him before he blasted the camera with one of the energy balls.
Afterwards, the whole group was seen on a nautically themed aftermath stage, which Sebastian and Haley were at the center of, glaring at each other while all of the contestants, accompanied by Maggie, who was hugging Thomas tightly, whistled.
The girls' cabin wasn't as much of a crazy wasteland as the boys', but there was still abundant craziness to be shared between the seven residents of the cabin…particularly when it came to Alexis and Gretchen. "First, you tell me that you hope I get eliminated soon, now you're throwing your trash on my bed? Seriously, what is your problem?" The rockstar had a balled up paper towel in her hand, which she tossed at Alexis, who swatted it away.
"For the last time, that was an accident! I tried to throw it into the trash bin, but it bounced off the rim and landed on your bed. And I never said that other thing, you're just overthinking things." Alexis rolled her eyes at the rocker, soon reaching into her pocket and grabbing her phone to try and ignore her. "And I thought that Taylor was rowdy and obnoxious as a roommate."
"Oi, don't be bringing her into this! Just apologize already and admit that you were wrong for saying that stuff."
"I'd apologize if I had done anything wrong, but I haven't…so, not gonna apologize. Simple as that." Alexis adjusted her glasses, a slight cocky grin sprouting on her face, though it was soon slapped off her face with a sandal. Gretchen started to chuckle for a brief moment, but she found herself getting slapped with the very same sandal.
"Ow, what gives?" The two girls shifted their attention to an angry March, who was standing in the middle of them. Her arms were crossed, and there was, sure enough, a sandal in one of her hands.
"You two bickering is giving me a real headache, you know that? Last night, you guys were up past midnight…I didn't get to bed until two in the morning. And it's eight in the morning right now." March pointed to the bags that were prevalent under her eyes. "I haven't had bags like this since I was cramming for exams back in high school. I know you're both arguing about…something that I'm not really sure what it is, but it's just annoying." The artist turned to walk out of the room, stopping right at the doorway and turning back to point the sandal at the two bickering girls. "I swear, if I have to come back in here to shut you guys up again, there's gonna be worse than a sandal to the face coming your way!"
With those words of warning, March left the room, leaving the two alone. "Yeesh, wonder what her problem is." Gretchen rubbed the back of her head before looking back at Alexis to see that she was scrolling through a feed of sorts with a huge smile on her face. "What're you looking at?"
"Eh? I'm following the daily lives of the boys from CTS, if you must know. I'm sure you've heard of them, they're only one of the best boy bands this generation has to offer!" Alexis turned the phone to show Gretchen her screen. The rocker was a bit put off by seeing the crazy blurts that the fans had to say about the boys. "Why do you look so disgusted?"
"I'm not…I just wasn't expecting to see anyone talking about wanting to kill other people for a chance to get spat on by someone from a band. My fans are a lot more…er…chill, than that."
"Oh, those kinds of fans…those aren't fans. Those are the stans. There's a huge difference!" Alexis pulled a diagram out of her back pocket, showing it to Gretchen proudly. It was detailed with the differences between fans and stans, and it made the rockstar question why she had something like that to begin with. "You see, fans like the music and just support the group, but stans are sort of like rabid animals that want to tear regular fans limb from limb and sacrifice them to impress the boys like they're some sort of pantheon of gods."
"...That's really wild, man. I've never seen any stans show up on my pages, just regular fans. I talk to 'em, sometimes." Gretchen grabbed her own phone, opening a messenger app to show that she had a group chat with lots of fans in it. "See, everything is pretty normal in here. They just ask how I'm doing and all that."
"Hm…well, I just searched up #StanGretchenONiall and there's actually a few people blurting about you. Like, there's this one girl…screen name: DeeDeeRemington. She said 'God, I kinda want Gretchen to beat me over the head with her guitar. Anybody else feeling that?' Like, thirty other people repubbed it." Alexis showed Gretchen the blurt, only causing the rocker to recoil in visible disgust. "Yeah, maybe go ahead and block those kinds of people."
"That's probably a good call…gee, didn't know you were so knowledgeable with these kinds of things." Gretchen seemed to be a bit impressed by Alexis, bringing a proud grin to the girl's face.
"I pride myself in my knowledge of all things boy bands and internet related. Well, it's a fun hobby on the side at least. Plus, seeing stans get upset over these silly things always gives me a good chuckle." Alexis giggled lightly, getting a chuckle back from Gretchen. The two smiled at each other in silence for a moment before speaking up again. "You know, sorry about being so nasty lately. I was definitely holding a bit of a grudge for no reason."
"And I'm sorry for freaking out over nothing…I guess I was just upset because of Taylor getting eliminated and all that. I can't be letting those bad feelings get to me, though." Gretchen extended her hand to Alexis, "We good?"
"Yeah, we're good." Alexis shook her hand, not expecting Gretchen to pull her in for a hug, but not fighting it.
Confessional
"Jesus, man…there are actually a lot of people I have to block on here. There was a dude legit cosplaying as me…like, everyday. Pretending to be me." Gretchen shivered at the very thought of the pictures that she saw. "People are weird, man."
"I've helped plenty of bands find the creepy people that deserve a good blocking, so this is nothing new for me. All in a day's work!" Alexis grinned proudly, standing up tall and shining like a goddess.
Confessional End
While Chris and Chef had returned to the bubble to announce their challenge for the day, they were met with…quite the interesting sight. They came off of the submarine, only for Bonnie to be blocking their path. She wasn't dressed like the normal grape she always was, but rather a pirate buccaneer of sorts. She had a brown, leather bustier on, which had flaps at the bottom of it that dropped loosely over her black pants. On her arms, she wore brown gloves which came to a white cuff at the elbows, and she also had brown boots with a similar cuff at the knee. On her hip, there was a whip, which looked like it would really sting to get thwapped by. "Bonnie? What are you doing…all dressed up like that?" Chris found it hard not to chuckle at the sight of the girl, but his chuckling was quickly silenced by her cracking the whip at the grass next to him. He leapt up into Chef's arms for a brief moment before the co-host dropped him right back on the ground.
"You…fiend! I saw the plans for this episode! You really have an episode with the word 'Booty' in the title, and you have me scheduled to clean the restrooms today!" The perverted girl cracked the whip against the ground again, causing dirt to fly up from the grass. "I can't believe the audacity! This is unacceptable!"
"Well, you are just the intern…kinda your job to clean up and all that jazz." Chris stood from the ground, dusting himself off before waving her away. "I don't have time to be arguing with you about this nonsense, kinda got a challenge I want to get to, you know? Big boy stuff. Go along and clean those restrooms, m'kay?" Bonnie gritted her teeth as Chris laughed at her, wrapping her whip around him and tying him up like a hostage. "Ah! What gives!?"
"I'm getting a piece of the booty action, whether you like it or not! You don't have any problem with that, do you, Chef?" The girl looked up at Chef, who was pointing at Chris and laughing.
"You kidding me? I ain't got anything wrong with this outside of the fact that I would've loved to be the one to hogtie Chris!" The co-host high-fived the intern before scooping the show's lead host up in his arms and bringing him back on board the submarine. "I'll keep the submarine on, you just go get the maggots and we'll head back to the pirate ship."
"This is so unfair! Chef, I'm docking your pay at the next meeting we have!" Chris continued to protest as Chef tossed him aside in the submarine. Bonnie snickered to herself, soon heading right for the cabins with a perverse grin on her face.
Confessional
"Let's be honest: this show needs more Bonnie, and Bonnie needs more screen time to woo some of these boys…or the girls. I don't care much, as long as I'm getting some action." Bonnie was drooling as she thought about Atlantis' resident hotties. She soon licked her lips, grinning back at the camera. "Now that Benjamin's back, I can finally win him over. I'd like to see him say no to me this time around."
Confessional End
Bonnie made her way to the two cabins, holding a megaphone in her hands. She flicked it on, soon tapping the microphone on it to make sure it was working. With a nod, she brought it to her lips, and moaned loudly and obnoxiously. It didn't take long for each of the contestants to make their way out of their respective cabins, confused by the ridiculous sound that she had made. "Oh my…I've got a whole crowd that wants a piece of me. I guess I'm just really great at making sexy noises, aren't I?"
"Sexy? I thought that a cat got tossed into a meat grinder or something." Nicolás rubbed the back of his neck, a bit embarrassed that he didn't recognize what the noise was. Bonnie glared at him, throwing the megaphone right at his head and knocking him flat to the grass.
"Ha!" Zachary pointed down at the poor, nerdy boy, chuckling like a madman. "Man, I do love seeing dweebs getting put in their place!"
"Someday, you're gonna get yours, you know that?" Vicente shook his head at Zachary before reaching down to help Nicolás off of the ground. The nerd grabbed his glasses from the grass on the way back up, putting them on to find out that one of the lenses was cracked.
"Aw, man…these glasses are super expensive, too." The boy sighed in defeat, slouching down a bit while Vicente and Natt shared a look of pity with him.
"Now, if I may continue without being called a dying cat again…it's just about time for a challenge!" Bonnie reached into her back pocket, grabbing a treasure map of sorts and unrolling it to show a picture of a pirate ship on it. "As we all know, Chris McLean is a man of many mysteries and complexes, and one of those mysteries is that he has a pirate ancestor! Captain Jack McLean, fiercest pirate in all of…Wales…yeah, not so threatening when you think about it like that. Whatever, anyways, we found out that his pirate ship was shipwrecked in the middle of the ocean…and the wreckage isn't too far out from where we are right now!"
"Oh, how drab…I assume we'll be digging around in the wreckage?" Luna rolled her eyes, not too fond of the thought of being on some nasty, old pirate ship. "There had better be plenty of gold on that ship."
"Well, Miss I'm Going to Interrupt You While You're Explaining the Challenge, if you would just listen to me, you would have an answer to that!" Bonnie grinned as Luna glared at her, soon blowing a kiss back to the model. "The challenge has everything to do with that…plundering riches from a dead guy! The ship is packed to the brim with treasure, but some treasures are a bit more valuable than others! Of course, we have someone who is well qualified to discern the value of certain treasures…that being Amphitrite. She's a total mommy, and she's an appraiser…who would've thought?"
"She's an appraiser? I thought those were the things that get brought out before the entree?" Benjamin scratched his chin in thought for a moment while Damien leaned over to whisper something in his ear. "Ohhhhh, that's an appetizer…does she come with dipping cheese?"
"Not quite, Benjamin…but you know, if you wanna take a bite out of anyone, I'm always free." Bonnie licked her lips seductively, though the notion didn't quite click with the simpleton. She sighed, soon shaking her head to get back to her explanation of the challenge. "Anyways, the gist is that you each need to find one piece of treasure…and it needs to be something valuable! Whoever possesses the most valuable treasure at the end of the challenge will get to win…two gold doubloons!" There were crickets chirping as Bonnie announced the reward for winning. "...I mean, they're genuine gold pieces. You guys should be excited about that, I think. Oh! Right, before I forget…obviously the most valuable treasure nets you that, but the least valuable treasure…will land you in the net of elimination!"
The crowd gasped, each contestant soon glancing between each other, wary of how the challenge may go down. "Now, I'm gonna need you guys to get all suited up or whatever…we really need to get to plundering that booty! Or, well, I suppose…" The intern turned around, poking her rear out towards the group. "...One of you could plunder my booty." She glanced back to see that each of the contestants had run back into their cabins already, only causing her to sigh out of annoyance.
Confessional
"Chris has always been one for the eccentric challenges…but doesn't defiling his own ancestor's gravesite bother him in the slightest?" Natt tapped his chin, looking down at the floor before shaking his head. "Sorry, I was under the impression that Chris had such things as morals for a second there."
"Mmm…pretzels and cheese…I love going to Snapplebee's and ordering five plates of them before getting my twenty-five ounce steak entree." Benjamin rubbed his belly with a smile on his face, the smile soon switching to a confused look. "What? Mom says I'm a growing boy, I need to eat a bunch!"
"Urk…this reminds me a bit too much of that challenge last season…the one where we had to find everyone's possessions." March thought back to her elimination in the previous season, wearing a small frown on her tired face. "I guess Tony's not here to ruin my shot at staying in the game this time around…yawwwwwwwwwwwn…but I am a bit exhausted…"
Confessional End
It didn't take long for the group to get all suited up and ready to go, each one of the contestants funneling into the submarine and taking a seat while Bonnie and Chef sat near the controls of the thing. Dusty ended up sitting the closest to Chris, who was still tied up like a sad landlubber. "You! Cowgirl! You know how to undo these types of knots, help me out here!"
"Ya know, I could do that, but I personally think it would be a tad bit funnier if I just let ya stay there and think about how ya could be treating us a bit better." Dusty kicked her feet up, using Chris as a foot rest, much to his displeasure. Bonnie glanced over at the sight, letting out a soft sigh.
"Man, I wish that were me instead of Chris." Chef cocked an eyebrow at the girl, shaking his head at her soon after. "Anyways, we're en route to the pirate ship! I wanna see these little lads and lasses scramble on the poop deck and walk the plank! Er…maybe I'm getting too into the pirate schtick, what do you think, Chef?"
"I think I'm still stuck thinking about how you just said you wanted to be a foot rest. That's weird, girl." The prevert shrugged her shoulders in response to the co-host, who just kept shaking his head at her. It didn't take long for the submarine to come across the sight of the crash, and Amphitrite and Poseidon were still standing on the ship itself, awaiting their arrival.
"Alright, we're gonna dump you guys off here! Remember, you gotta do your best to find a treasure with a lot of value if you wanna win this challenge! Oh, that's right…you only get an hour to search the ship before you have to turn out your pockets to Hot Mommy." Bonnie tapped her wrist, as if pointing at a watch that wasn't there. "You can only give her one treasure, too…so I'd make sure you get the best you can find on the first try. Now, get out there and plunder like you've never plundered before, mateys!" The intern let out a piratey cackle before stopping and looking down at the ground in shame. "Alright, I'll stop now."
Each of the contestants started to leave the submarine through the pod at the bottom of it, swimming right towards the ship and leaving the two hosts along with the intern. Bonnie looked between the two grown men, staying silent for a moment as if she was sizing them up. "So…you guys ever thought about fiddling around with a younge-"
"NO!" The two hosts shouted at the intern in unison, though this didn't break her spirits as she only figured this as more playing hard to get. The contestants eventually touched base down on the ship, where Poseidon was all too giddy to see them.
"Ah, it's been a while since I last saw you kiddos! That vacation was nice and all, but I did miss you a good bit. I trust Chris wasn't too harsh on you?" The CEO looked for answers from the contestants, only to see them shaking their heads back at him. His smile faded to a frown pretty quickly. "I figured as much…just let me know if he ever goes too far, and I can have a talk with him."
"Glad to see that someone around here has a soft spot…those are quite easy to manipulate." Amelia whispered to Luna, who snickered in delight. Poseidon didn't quite hear the two of them, though Amphitrite did, and she shot a glare to them.
"Ah! You're probably all raring to get along with the challenge! As was probably mentioned to you before, you've got one hour to search the ship for valuable treasures to turn in to my lovely assistant!" Amphitrite blushed as Poseidon called her lovely, though he didn't pay attention to her enough to see this. "Well, I won't hold you back any longer, I'll just let you get right into it! The time for the great treasure seek starts…now!" With that last word, the contestants spread out around the ship, each looking for treasure.
Confessional
"Psh, I know a thing or two about value. I could easily pick out the most valuable treasure way faster than anyone else here." Jianne cracked her knuckles, not seeming to be worried about the challenge at hand in the slightest. "'Specially that Damien, he ain't got what it takes to be on my level of treasure hunting excellence." She blushed slightly as she mentioned the boy, but the look on her face was still entirely confident.
"Man, sure would be nice if I could find a new pair of glasses somewhere on this ship…I doubt Chris would let me keep them, even if I did." Nicolás sighed as he stared down at his shattered lens, since his glasses were currently in his hands. "I feel like I'm making myself too much of an easy target for some people…but I'm not good at acting tough or anything…"
Confessional End
There was an upper level from the main deck that was connected by two staircases, each of which had busted boards aplenty. Only a mere two people took this path of the ship, those being Damien and Amelia. On the upper floor itself, there was a large cabin, presumably where the captain himself would've been sleeping. The theater kid opened the door to the cabin, which took a great amount of force. It was almost like the door was nailed shut, though it was just rusted hinges. As the room's inside came to the boy's sight, he fell down in fright. In a bunk at the far wall, there was a skeleton, which was dressed as a pirate captain. "Jesus…they weren't kidding when they said he died on the ship."
"What's the matter with you? Are you seriously scared of a prop skeleton?" Amelia brushed past the boy to enter the room, clearly unphased by the sight, unlike he was. "We all know that Chris probably just put this guy here to spook us out of getting the good treasures." She walked right up to the skeleton, giving it a good lookover, almost as if she was trying to see if there was any treasure on it.
"What are you doing?" Damien slowly pulled himself up from the floorboards, still a bit nervous about entering the room. "Isn't it bad luck to mess with skeletons and their things?"
"Like I said, it's a prop…that much is obvious. You can't be that great of an actor if you can't identify a simple prop skeleton." Amelia continued to look over the body, eventually spotting a gold necklace around its neck. "Aha, here we are!" Without so much as a second thought, the actress pulled the necklace off of the skeleton, immediately causing a harrowing wind to blow and knock the two contestants back down to the floor. The wind seemed to push out through the doorway, leaving them both behind.
"W-what was that!?" Damien was utterly horrified by what he had just witnessed, though Amelia didn't seem to mind too much, as she just got right back up.
"It's just the pressure…probably had an air bubble lodged in his ribs or something, I don't know." She started to walk back through the doorway, leaving the boy in the room alone. "If I were you, I'd start looking for treasure instead of just asking me dumb questions and worrying about skeletons and nonsense. I've already basically got a free ticket to victory, right here!"
With that, she started back down the stairs to return to the main floor. Damien gulped as he pulled himself up again. "I-I think I'll look in some other room for treasure…sorry, skeleton guy." The theater kid quickly fled from the room, heading right back downstairs. A few seconds passed after he left, and the skeleton's head suddenly shifted to face the doorway.
Confessional
"Amelia sure doesn't fear much of anything…she also doesn't seem to care much about other people. I don't know, I don't think me and her would really get along well, even if we weren't in this show together." Damien looked down at his hands, still shaking at the thought of what had happened in the room.
Confessional End
Dusty had gone down below the main deck in search of treasure, ending up in some sort of hold for wine. There were barrels upon barrels of alcohol, though she hadn't much luck with finding treasure. The darkness of the room itself only being lit by her suit's flashlight wasn't of much help, all things considered. "Consarnit, how am I s'posed to find any treasures when the room is all dark like this?" The cowgirl scuffed the ground with her boot, soon hearing the clattering of a glass bottle in the distance. "What the hay?"
She scanned the room over, trying to find the source of the noise, only to see an empty bottle of rum rolling around on the floor. "Huh…? That doesn't make no sense, we're underwater…it should be floating or something…" Dusty started to walk towards the bottle, only for it to be swept away by some faint glow of sorts. She stumbled back a bit, frightened by the sudden motion. "H-hey, that ain't funny! Ya better show yer face before I have to come find ya!"
There was a bit of silence while Dusty continued to scan the room, searching for whoever it was that was teasing her. As she took a step forward, she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. There was a table, far back in the room…with a ghastly glow coming from it. A closer look into the sight revealed that the glow was emanating from a man, dressed as a pirate with a massive beard. Oddly, he seemed to look like Chris McLean in some sort of way. "G-g-ghost!"
"Bah…human!" The ghostly man hissed his words back at Dusty, who was a bit shocked to hear him talking. She went quiet, not sure how she was supposed to respond to the situation that she was currently stuck in. "See? It doesn't feel so good when I do it to you, now does it?" The ghost had an accent, one that seemed to be native to Wales. "Silly landlubbers, coming onto my boat and taking my riches…what if I broke into your house and snatched up your mother's wedding ring, hm?"
"A-ah, but this was the challenge, Chris told us to…come get treasure so we can…how are ya talking to me!?" Dusty was still lost, having utterly no idea how this was happening.
"The same way you're talking to me, lassie! I learned how to speak at the young age of seven." The pirate ghost noticed a dull look on Dusty's face as he said that. "Arr! We didn't have much good in the way of education back in my days! Seven was considered plenty young to start talking!"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Pirate! I didn't mean to offend ya…I'm just a bit frazzled by all this mess…"
"You're frazzled? Imagine what it's like to be me right now! One of me descendents has sent a party of scavengers to ravage me riches, and they've disturbed me eternal slumber!" The pirate slammed a ghostly glass bottle on the table, accidentally shattering it and getting chunks of glass stuck in his beard. "Arr…that was me best bottle of rum, too."
"Well, I'm sorry, Mr. Pirate…we didn't mean to be disturbing ya or nothing, we just were doing what we were told to." Dusty took a few steps closer to the ghost, having lost a bit of the fear that she was harboring before. "Ya said that Chris was one of yer descendents? That must mean that yer actually…Captain Jack McLean!"
"In the flesh! Arr, I mean, in the lack of flesh!" The pirate stood up proudly, slamming his fist against his chest with a boastful grin. "I was a terrifying pirate, back in me day, too! There were times that I would head into coastal villages, delivering horrible surprises to the kids!" Captain Jack reached into the pocket of his ghostly jacket, pulling out an egg-shaped object. "These kinder eggs never tasted any good, the looks on their faces made me laugh everytime when the bit into them! Yarr harr harr!"
"...Yer telling me that one of the most brutal, scary pirate things ya did back in yer life was give kids bad-tasting chocolate?" Dusty crossed her arms, looking at the pirate with a rather unsure look. "That don't seem so frightening to me, no offense."
"Yarr, that's far from all I did! There were deadly duels between me and me adversaries!" Captain Jack cracked his knuckles with a look of pure bloodlust on his face. "Yarr harr harr, there was never a single soul that could beat me in a good, old fashioned pillow fight!"
"...Pillow fights. Pillow fights and chocolate. Jeez, ya really are the least scary pirate I've ever heard of." Dusty sighed, shaking her head at the ghost, who was taken aback by her disapproval.
"Now, hang on, lassie! There's more dreadful tales from where those came from!" The pirate scratched at his beard as he thought back to his life. "Why, there was…well, no, that ended with me being the godfather of her child. Oh, there was this time that…er…no, that village named me their hero…" His stern look was replaced with a pitiful frown, as he started crying ghostly tears. "Oh, who am I kidding? I never did anything scary, like a true pirate! Boo hoo hoo!"
Captain Jack ran to the corner of the room, crouching down and sobbing while Dusty watched. She cringed at the very sight of it, embarrassed to see this man from ages ago bawling like a newborn.

"Now, it really is none of my business, and I do have a challenge to be getting to…but, darnit, seeing this just puts me in a sour mood. Who could let a grown man sit there and cry like that? Not me!" Dusty stood up on the confessional bucket, holding her hand to her chest as if swearing into an oath. "I'll manage to get this spirit's spirits back to him, I swear it!"

Back on the main deck, Zachary was rummaging around by the cracked mast. Poseidon and Amphitrite watched him closely as he searched for treasure in quite possibly the worst possible spot that could ever be searched. "Zachary, I'm not sure you're going to find anything there. Maybe try searching below the deck with some of the others?"
"As if I would go where the rest of the bunch went! Besides, I'm already getting closer to my real prize!" Zachary ignored Poseidon's advice, getting an eye roll back from the CEO. However, with just a little more digging around, he managed to find a statue of a golden chicken, holding it up proudly as if it were a trophy of sorts. "See? This is why you guys shouldn't doubt me and my ability to create something from nothing!"
"...Golly, Zachary, that's got to be rather heavy…perhaps just let Amphitrite observe it while it's on the ground, hm?" Zachary shrugged his shoulders, setting the statue down on the cracked boards of the ship's deck, allowing Amphitrite to grab her small microscope. She took a gander through the glass, looking all over the statue carefully. After a short while, she rapped her fist against the statue, hearing an echoing noise as she did.
"Well, it's gold, that much is true. The only thing is that it's hollow to the core." The assistant tucked the microscope back into her diving suit pocket. "Still, it's an impressive find. Not as impressive as the necklace that Amelia brought to us, but still a tough thing to beat."
"What!? Come on, lady! You can't be serious about saying that Amelia did better than me! She's super lame, and I'm super not lame!" Zachary whined while Amelia laughed in an uppity tone near him. He glared back at her from where he stood, only getting a cocky smirk back from her.
"Oh, Zachary…just admit that I'm better at everything than you. It'll be sweet music to my ears, and maybe you'll learn to stop trying so hard to impress me." The actress teased the actor with a wink, "We all know you're just knees deep in love with me."
"As if! You're not my type by a mile and a half! Everyone knows that Alexis is the true hottie of the cast…but even I won't fall for her. She'll be falling for me, if anything…just like how you've fallen for me, and now you're projecting your feelings onto me instead of admitting it!" The two Hollywood dropouts glared and gritted their teeth at each other while Vicente strolled over to Amphitrite, whistling without a care in the world. In his hands, there was a babushka doll, which had a crown encrusted with jewels of varying sorts.
"Well, I'll be…genuine rubies and sapphires abundant in levels of descending size? This is quite an exemplary find, Vicente…far more valuable than what Zachary and Amelia brought us." Amphitrite clapped her hands lightly for the reality TV pro's findings, while the two bickering fools' jaws dropped in astonishment.
"Why, thank you. A quick search through the bunkroom down below yielded this…I guess it belonged to one of the crewmates." The boy looked down at the ground, clasping his hands together. "Descansa en Paz." After delivering his treasure, he quickly left the CEO and his assistant, with both of the other contestants glaring at him, rather than each other. Amelia pulled Zachary off to the side to sidebar with him.
"Alright, I know that we despise each other more than anyone else here, but I think we can both come to agree that Vicente is a nuisance." The girl slammed her fist down on her palm as she spoke. "Perhaps we could set our differences aside for a moment, if only to ensure that we get rid of him."
"Hm, sounds tempting, but I'm going to have to pass." Zachary waved the girl off, not interested in her offer. "See, working with someone else can be fun or whatever, but I would much rather show off my own skill by beating everybody else by myself. So thanks, but no thanks…I'll do just fine without your help." The actor started walking away from Amelia, leaving her to grumble to herself in spite.
Confessional
"Zachary should've taken me up on my offer, but it doesn't matter. I know that I can get rid of anyone who stands in my way, regardless of what they have to say about it." Amelia checked her fingernails, hardly paying attention to the camera, for once. "Be it Vicente, Zachary, or whoever, I will be going to the finale…and that's final."
"I don't need help to do anything around here, because I'm just perfect on my own! We all know that Amelia would be nothing if it weren't for her having followers that help her out." Zachary checked himself out in a mirror, also only loosely paying attention to the camera. "I'm the true icon here, so I'll be going to the finale without her."

Alexis found herself digging around in a tiny restroom, one that was full of cobwebs. She was disgusted by the room, and to be honest, a bit confused about the presence of cobwebs in the drowned mess of the ship. "Urk…the things I do to try and win these challenges." The girl searched around the latrine, trying her best to look for treasure, only to come up empty. She sighed to herself, disappointed with her failure, until she found a small, leather sack tucked away behind the toilet. "Aha! What have we here?"
The boy band lover grabbed the bag, soon opening it to see a small collection of silver pieces within it. She frowned as she saw the less than exciting haul, letting out another sigh. "Well, I suppose if I can't find anything else while I'm digging around here, I'll be able to give them this. I'd better keep looking, though…this is just so lackluster compared to the treasure I saw Amelia hauling around earlier." Alexis closed the bag up, slinging it over her shoulder before leaving the restroom. As she walked through the sunken hallway beneath the main deck, Natt passed her by, looking for a treasure of his own.
"Hm…treasure, treasure, where might you be?" The dull boy used the beam of light from his suit to look around the hall, peaking about to see which rooms had been opened and searched, and which doors were still shut. After a while, he came across a small door, possibly to a closet of sorts. He reached for the knob, pulling it open slowly to take a look at its contents. There wasn't much in there, but he did manage to find a mirror with a golden frame. He grabbed for it, taking a good look at it before nodding at it. "This will do…it seems shiny enough."
Natt was all set to leave the closet, but before he turned around, he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. He narrowed his eyes at the object, a bit confused by what it was. He reached forward to grab it, pulling it from the closet to reveal an odd symbol of a stopwatch with an eyeball in the center of it printed on a business card of sorts. He flipped the card over, seeing only two words on the back of it. "'Father Time…?' I feel like I've heard that name somewhere before…but what's a business card doing on a shipwreck? This has got to be from way after when the ship crashed…"
The boy felt a bit unsettled by the card being there. He glanced around to see if anyone was watching him before tucking the card away into his suit pocket and shutting the door to the closet. With that, he turned away from it, and started heading back to the main deck to show his treasure to Amphitrite.
Confessional
"Father Time, Father Time…who is Father Time? What is Father Time?" Natt observed the card in his hands, trying to figure out what it meant. "And why did they come to this shipwreck? …I really get a bad feeling from all of this, but Anne says I worry too much. Maybe I'll try to tone it down…but still. It's just unsettling."

Jianne was still wandering around the ship's wreckage, although she had gone much deeper than any of the others had gone. She went down to the lower floor, and even further down when she found a ladder that descended to the lowest cargo hold the ship had. There were crates and barrels aplenty, each full to the brim with pieces of gold, though she was certain she could find something more valuable than any old gold piece. "If I were a hot piece of booty, where would I be hiding? …Man, that sounded super weird. I'm glad no one was around to hear that."
"Yeah, that would be totally embarrassing." Benjamin spoke up from the midst of the room, revealing himself to the girl. She jumped back out of shock, having thought that no one else was in the room. "Oh! Sorry, I thought you saw me follow you in here. I was trying to talk to you, but you kept saying stuff about how you're the greatest person in the whole known universe."
"Benjamin! You can't just skulk and stalk around when I'm in the zone, you gotta give me a fair chance to see you coming!" Jianne rushed over to the boy, slapping her hand against his helmet a few times. "Seriously, you're a big kid, use that big brain of yours!"
"Ow! Sorry, I just thought that we were supposed to search together, since we're on the same team and everything." Benjamin reached up to rub his forehead, though all he could rub was the glass of his helmet.
"Team? Benjamin, you realize that the teams were split up last episode, right?" Jianne shook her head at the boy, somehow surprised by his lack of thought. "Seriously, you're like that internet browser that everyone is always dogging on for being super slow."
"Oh, there's no more teams? Dang, I was gonna help you out by giving you the extra treasure that I found, but I guess I can't." Benjamin reached behind his back with both hands, holding up a plate made of fine china with sapphires encrusting the rim of it in one, with a golden stopwatch in the other. "Well, I'll just go and put one of these back, I guess." The boy tossed the stopwatch over his shoulder, letting it fall into one of the barrels. "Sorry, I'll try to remember better next time, Jianne!"
With those words, Benjamin started back towards the ladder to get back to the floor above them. Once he had left, Jianne was alone in the room, for real, this time. She had a look of confusion on her face, almost as if she was debating whether or not she should do something. After a brief moment of thought, she dug around in the barrel, pulling up the stopwatch. She stared at it with a grin, rushing for the room's exit soon after.
Confessional
"Okay, I really don't like having other people do my work for me, but I at least know that this is gonna be more valuable than the plate that Benjamin has got." Jianne tried to maintain her confident grin, though she couldn't help it, and it faded to an annoyed look. "Ugh…this is gonna be the only time I do this. From here on out, I'm only riding the wave of my success, no one else's!"
Confessional End
Gretchen had taken to the dining hall of the ship, searching around for a treasure worthy of bringing to Amphitrite. The room was mainly empty, except for the wooden furniture that was to be found. "Man, this place is a total dump. This pirate really didn't get much of any good treasure when he was alive, huh?" The rockstar sighed, ready to leave the room. She turned to face the doorway, but something happened to catch her eye. "Hold the phone, what's this I see?"
Gretchen turned back to see a smaller table off to the side of the room. On top of the table was a candlestick, which was made entirely of gold, with some jewels encrusting the rim around the bottom of it. A smirk popped up on her face as she started to head towards the table. "Man, and I thought that this place would have nothing to offer. Guess I was wrong…sweet victory, here I come!"
The rockstar kept on walking towards the table, just about to grab the candlestick when, suddenly, the ceiling above her came crashing down, covering her in debris so that she couldn't move. On top of the debris, there was Alexis, who had fallen from the ceiling. "...Well that was horrifying. Guess I've gotta be careful when I'm walking around the deck…hey, what's this?" Alexis stood from the pile of debris, grabbing for the candlestick and studying it closely. "Wow, this is way better than this stupid sack!"
The girl dropped her leather sack on the table, turning around to take the candlestick back with her. "Guess things are working out for me after all! Sweet!" With a jump for joy, Alexis rushed out of the room, heading back for the main deck. Gretchen struggled a bit, eventually shoving the bulk of the debris off of herself so she could get up. When she did, she noticed the leather sack on the table.
"Man, I'd recognize that voice from anywhere…Alexis is screwing me over!" The rockstar groaned to herself, grabbing the sack and looking inside to see the sad collection of silver coins. "Great, just great…whatever, this will have to do for now. And to think, I was starting to think she was cool…she was just trying to get me to lower my guard. Figures…never trust a boy band enthusiast." Gretchen continued to grumble to herself as she headed for the room's exit.
When she got out into the hall, she passed by Nicolás, who seemed as if he didn't have a clue as to where to go. He looked around, but at every glance, the rooms he saw seemed to be empty of all things shiny and valuable. "Man, everyone else picked this place clean already. I really don't wanna lose…maybe I should just give up." The nerdy boy let out a sigh, stepping forward and causing a board to swing up from the floor and knock him down to his rear. "Yowch!"
Nicolás shook his head a little, trying to shake the feeling that he had, which was akin to whiplash. When he looked back ahead of himself, he saw a pearl necklace clinging to the plank that had just struck him. "Woah…that's gotta be worth some good amount of money!" The boy reached towards the plank, grabbing the necklace before standing up, a smile on his face. Unfortunately, when he stood, the board slammed back down on the ground, pinching his foot right in it. "OW!"
Confessional
"Why me, man?" Nicolás rubbed his aching foot with an ice pack, wincing as the cold didn't seem to help the horrible throbbing pain all too much.
Confessional End
Amphitrite and Poseidon had gotten a good gathering of contestants and their treasure returning to the deck; the only ones who hadn't quite come back yet were Damien, Dusty, March, Luna, and Gretchen. Bonnie, who was watching the whole challenge go down from the submarine, leaned towards her microphone, soon speaking into it. "I hate to kinda rush things, but you've only got ten minutes left if you haven't turned in your findings yet. I usually congratulate people on lasting long, but this time is gonna be an exception to that!"
Underneath the deck, March let out a yawn. She had heard Bonnie's announcement, and it registered with her, but she was so lacking of energy that it was a bit difficult to focus on finding her treasure. "Ugh…come one, I need to find something…anything." As she searched around in the cabin room, she heard Luna cackling from the entrance way. She turned to face her, only loosely glaring at her.
"It looks like you don't have what it takes to find any treasure, what a shame!" Luna held up a golden goblet, gesturing to it with her free hand. "As you can see, I've already found something worthy of bringing back to that assistant. Oh well, boo hoo. It'll be sad to see you leaving so early after you just came back to the show…not! Hope you're ready for another trip down that water slide, March!"
The obnoxious model continued to cackle like a gremlin as she headed for the main deck, leaving the exhausted March to her own devices. The artist groaned, merely annoyed by her ex's taunts. "Whatever, it's not worth getting worked up over. I need to focus on…finding a treasure…" March's words started to slow as she noticed a small box underneath one of the bunks. She bent down to grab it, opening it to reveal a gold ring with a singular diamond at the center of it. Near the ring, there was a tattered piece of paper with rather faint words on it. "'For you, my love…' One of the pirates was going to propose…"
March stayed silent for a moment before placing the box right back where she found it. "I can find some other treasure to bring them. Stealing from the dead is already wrong, but that would be even worse…" The girl started back to the doorway, soon tripping over a small object. She looked behind her to see a golden coat hook, rather than a regular pirate's hook. "Well, I'll be…I guess this will work well enough."
With a slight smile, March grabbed the coat hook, getting up from the ground and soon rushing past Damien in the hall to go to the deck. The boy ignored her as she passed him by, still a bit unsettled by her return to the game. "Just gotta find something, I still got another…seven-ish minutes." The theater boy searched around the hall, though it seemed as if most of the rooms had already been checked at this point. He started to get more and more worried by the moment, thinking that he was going to lose unless he did something fast. "What do I do? What do I do? What do I-"
In the midst of the boy's panic, he noticed one singular that hadn't been opened by anyone yet. He quickly rushed to it, opening it up to see a single treasure chest. He chuckled in relief, kneeling down to open the chest, only to find a cutlass with a scabbard made of gold, encrusted with jewels aplenty. "Phew…I was really worried for a moment, there. Guess this will be a good find…well, good enough to land me a safe spot."
The theater boy grabbed the cutlass, shutting the treasure chest tightly and leaving the room soon after. As he started to head for the stairs, he could hear Bonnie's voice echoing from the speakers on the submarine. "Yeah, I know I just talked about time and everything, but it's probably a good idea to let the lot of you know that there's only five minutes left now. Tick tock, better bring up that booty before I sink you, like this very ship!"
"Crap!" Another girl's voice could be heard from further down the hall, causing Damien to glance back and see a panicked Gretchen running for the stairs. "This sack of coins will have to do, I can't waste anymore time looking around down here!" She passed right by the boy, heading up the stairs before he could. He shrugged his shoulders as she did, following close behind her.
This only left Dusty, who hadn't quite left the wine room yet. She was still with the bawling pirate, trying to convince him not to cry so much. "Come on, I'm sure ya did plenty of things in yer life that were horrifying and brutal. Like, ain't ya ever pillaged a village or something like that?"
"No, no I never did! Me and me crew would rather show up to a banquet hall and perform a song and dance for the villagers! Boo hoo hoo! What a pathetic lot of pirates we were!" Captain Jack continued to sob violently, Dusty's attempt at pepping him up not working in the slightest. "And now that I'm a ghost, I have no choice but to slumber at the bottom of the ocean for the rest of time! Boo hoo hoo!"
"...That gives me a thought! Listen here, Captain Jack!" Dusty snapped her fingers, getting the ghost's attention for the time being. He sniffled, trying not to cry like before. "Yer a ghost now, and ya done went and had yer rest disturbed, right? Couldn't ya use that?"
"Yarr, what do you mean by that, lassie?" Captain Jack sniffled again, his interest piqued by the girl's sudden thought.
"Well, ya made it pretty clear that ya can roam around in this ghostly form…ya could totally haunt the seven seas! Ya know, sail around in a ghost ship with a ghost crew! Scare sailors that stay out after midnight! I bet that'd give everyone something to fear from the mighty Captain Jack McLean!" Dusty's words seemed to strike a chord within the captain's ghostly chassis, as he stood up with a hearty laugh.
"My goodness, lassie, you're right! I never did think about it that way!" Captain Jack let out another hearty laugh, patting the girl on the back with his hand…which really just passed through her, chilling her a bit. "You're a bright young lady, you know that?"
"Well, I try my best to be more than ordinary!" Dusty grinned at the compliment, soon sharing in the hearty chuckle with the captain. While the two were having their happy moment, the speakers from the submarine started to echo from outside of the ship.
"Yeah, yeah, I talk too much, maybe you guys should start talking back or something. Whatever, you've got one minute left if you haven't brought treasure to the mommy yet." Bonnie's words struck Dusty like a hammer, reminding her that she hadn't yet found anything of value.
"Hot damn! I've spent so much time down here, I done went and forgot about the challenge! This is bad news, how am I supposed to find any treasure with only one minute left!?" The cowgirl started to panic, her eyes frantically wandering the room, searching for anything of value.
"Yarr, you say you need to find treasure, hm? Well, since you've helped me out, I suppose I can spare some charity for you…luckily, every great captain keeps his most valuable treasure in his favorite room: the booze room!" Captain Jack walked from the table to a picture frame on the wall. The portrait in the frame was one of the captain himself, in his prime, of course. He used his ghostly hand to knock it to the floor, revealing a safe behind it. After some fiddling, he managed to get the safe open, revealing something so shiny that it could hardly be identified at first. "I s'pose this'll be the last you see of ol' Captain Jack, so I'd best be sure to give you something to remember me by."
"Oh, Captain! If I could hug ya, I would!" Dusty smiled brightly, reaching out to grab the shiny object from the safe. "I wish we could meet again…heck, maybe ya'll see me sailing someday!"
"Yarr, if our paths cross again, it'll be a night to remember! Me and my ghostly mates will be drinking in honor of the lassie that got us back in our spirits! Now, go! Bring the treasure up there, godspeed!" The pirate slammed his fist against his chest proudly, getting a nod back from Dusty, who soon rushed out of the room to bring the treasure to Amphitrite.
Up on the main deck, Amphitrite had just finished observing the treasure that was brought to her by Damien. "Well, this is definitely one of the most valuable ones yet…actually, the most valuable one, by a mile. Gretchen had the least valuable, but it doesn't seem like Dusty found anything at all. I guess that means that Damien wins and Dusty-"
"Wait!" Dusty burst out from the doorway to the stairs that headed below the deck. The group of contestants was astonished to see her there, and even more shocked to see the object in her hands. She rushed right up to Amphitrite, holding the treasure out to her. "Here! I got a treasure for the challenge!"
"Wow…this is marvelous…the bust of Captain Jack McLean, made entirely of diamonds…well, this certainly goes above and beyond what everyone else had brought us. Dusty…" Amphitrite reached into her suit pocket, pulling out two gold coins and holding them out to the cowgirl. "You're the clear winner of this challenge. The 'doubloons' are yours for the taking."
"Ya know, thanks, but no thanks." Dusty grabbed the two coins, dropping through the cracked floor to one of the rooms below the deck. "I think I got something way better than two gold coins while I was here…an awesome friend. And friends don't take what belongs to their friends."
"Uh…well, alright, I suppose it is your choice what you do with the treasure. Unfortunately, this also means that Gretchen is the unfortunate loser of this challenge…sorry, rockstar." Amphitrite looked over to Gretchen, who was glaring at Alexis.
"Well, I wouldn't have lost if it weren't for you covering me in debris and stealing my treasure from me." The rockstar was entirely peeved, though Alexis was a bit confused by the accusation.
"I sincerely don't know what you mean by that." The boy band fan shrugged her shoulders, only managing to get Gretchen angrier than before. Poseidon noticed the disparity and stepped between the two girls.
"Now, I know it's rather unfortunate to have someone lose the challenge, but it's nothing worth fighting over. Let's just make our way back to Atlantis and let bygones be bygones, alright?" The CEO tried his best to calm the two girls down, but it didn't seem to have much effect. He let out a sigh as everyone began to swim back to the submarine.
Confessional
"Godspeed, ya kooky captain." Dusty smiled as she looked down at a picture frame, that which had a portrait of Captain Jack and herself standing together, "...Godspeed."
Confessional End
Before long, the group of contestants met back at the fish bowl, with Bonnie now tied up in her own whip, rather than Chris, who was leaning against his podium. "Never letting an intern hijack me again, I swear! My legs feel like they're made of jelly right now!" The host shuddered, his legs seemed to shudder longer than the rest of his body. "Anywho, Gretchen, who lost the challenge, so you're out of here! Any last words for us?"
"Yeah, I got a few…" Gretchen stood before the Water Slide of Shame, soon turning to face the rest of the contestants with an annoyed look on her face. "Don't let Alexis fool you…she's up to no good, you hear me?" Alexis rolled her eyes at the rockstar, just as annoyed as she was. "For my pals, it's been a wild ride…I'll see you at the next show!" The rockstar strummed an air guitar before doing a backflip into the water slide, shooting all the way down into the Submarine of Losers, which soon set way to the Aftermath stage.
"Alright, divers, scram! I've had enough of you for one day, you miserable-" Chris's harsh words were interrupted as he stared up at an utterly harrowing sight. A ghostly ship, which had a man that looked like his ancestor leading a crew of rapscallion pirate ghost, was sailing on overhead.
"Yarr harr harr! Chris McLean! You've disappointed your ancestors, you hear!? Yarr harr harr!" Captain Jack bellowed loudly, frightening most of everyone, with Dusty as the only exclusion. She smiled as she saw him sailing by, waving and getting a wave back.
"G-g-g-g-ghost! Ghost ghost ghost! Cut the episode!" Chris frantically shouted, running over to the camera guy and shaking him violently. "Cut the episode, cut the-"
Author's Notes:
*And there we go, Gretchen is outta here! She's certainly a power player by most means, but this season has gotta showcase some of the others. Still, another good run makes a good case for her making it to an all star season. Was also fun to have her and Alexis rivaling for a little bit…and then making them rekindle their friendship…and then them hating each other again. What a goofy bunch of gals.
