To Coolrod: Hi, man, no need to get too angry, okay? You're thinking all the Avengers and Arrowverse crossover is always following the same pattern, is that true? I'm trying to avoid that also, I'm trying to write a new story. If you think I'm always following the same pattern, you're welcome to give me advice on how to change them. How to make a better story, okay. No need to get mad. :)
After Barry take down John Garrett, Barry, Coulson and a member of Coulson's team: Grant Ward go to see Victoria Hand. They found her at the Control Room.
"Thank you, Mr. Allen." Victoria said to Barry, "For stopping me from a making a huge mistake." She turned to Coulson, "Good to see you again." She said to him.
"You too." Coulson said.
"Let me catch you up." Victoria said, "Captain America has taken down three heli-carriers at the Triskelion, but his status is still unknown." Barry clenched his fist when he heard that, unable to stop worrying for his friends.
"And the SHIELD has fallen." Coulson added. Victoria nodded her head in sadness.
"HYDRA faction has taken control of our Eastern Africa Headquarters and the Treehouse." Victoria said, "And those are just the ones we know of."
"There's gonna be a scramble, a fight for power." Coulson realized.
"I'll stay at here, the Fridge, at least here is safe." Victoria said.
"I don't need to remind you how important it is to protect this place." Coulson said, "And you might…"
"I'll find John Garrett one of the darkest and smallest cell to put him in." Victoria assured him.
"I'd like to turn the key of that cell myself, if that's alright with you sir." Grant Ward suddenly said, "He's my S. O. I feel I need to…"
"Hey, you don't know." Coulson comforted him, "None of us know, I don't know. That's how they beat us, by being our friends."
"I spent years with that bastard, I looked up to him, and I want to see him get punished for what he has done." Grant said. Barry stares at him in sympathy, being betrayed by someone you trusted for a long time, Barry know how bad that feeling is.
"I don't mind having an extra help. I need someone of you talent here right now." Victoria said. Then she turned to Coulson, said: "I need you go to the Hub, it's one of the few SHIELD facilities that are still safe, pick up the pieces there if you can." She gave Coulson said communicator, "We can only use this to communicate" She said, "Us two, maybe this only high rank SHIELD officer that is both not HYDRA and not dead. Not that matters now, stay in touch, Agent Coulson." After shake hands with Coulson, she left with Ward.
"Do you mind to come with me, Mr. Allen?" Coulson offered, "With Ward gone, I could use someone's help."
Barry smiled, Steve and Natasha have taken down the big one, it seems only fair if he take down some HYDRA agents. "Of course, I'll be happy to help." He said to Coulson.
Barry followed Coulson back to his plane, in there, he met Coulson's team. "Everyone, this is Barry Allen, our reinforcement." Coulson introduced. Barry waved his hands to say hello.
"Skye, try to restore some of the firmware of the plane systems." Coulson commanded, "Fitz-Simmons, help May patch the holes."
"I can offer some help." Barry said.
"Okay, that would be great, everyone, let's get to work." Coulson said.
With Barry's help, they manage to fix in plane in two hours, then they arrived at the Hub. During the time, Barry got to meet everyone of Coulson's team, first of all, Leopold Fitz and Jemma Simmons, are two genius scientist who are just graduated from the SHIELD Academy, and Barry and swear there's something going on between these two,. Next, Melinda May, who was great agent, but retired several years ago for unknown reasons, then Coulson, recruited her to have a comeback.
Then, Skye, who was a hacker, then got arrested by SHIELD, then because some excellent performance during several missions, became a SHIELD agent. Then last, Antoine Triplett, who was another agent by Garrett's side, saw who Garrett truly is, then joined Coulson's team.
With these guys, Barry feels the trip is going to get more exciting.
SHIELD Facility: Hub
Location: Classified
They've arrived at the Hub, Coulson manage to pick up the pieces as soon as possible. Has taken the command, and are cleaning up the mess.
Skye and Barry found Coulson at the Control Room, "Good news." Skye said to Coulson, "We have regain the control of the Cube."
Coulson said: "So that makes four, right?"
"Yeah." Skye said, "Told you more would turn up."
Just then, a window appeared on the screen. Shows a person's face, "This is Colonel Glenn Talbot, U. S. Air force." The person said.
"Colonel Talbot, I'm Agent Phil Coulson, I'm happy to…" Coulson said to him.
"Mr. Coulson." Talbot said, "It's a real mess you guys have gotten us into."
"HYDRA has gotten us by surprise." Coulson explained.
"Well, that's an understatement." Talbot replied, "It's very troubling of how HYDRA manage to embedded high level of SHIELD."
"Same for us, sir." Coulson said, "But we assure you, our defense has begun, the Hub is secure, out agents is ready to give you any assistances you want."
"I think we have enough assistances from SHIELD." Talbot replied, "I'm sending a peacekeeping force, they're gonna take control."
"Understood, sir." Coulson said, "What should I tell my men to expect."
"Oh, it's nothing serious, we're just gonna ask a few question." Talbot said, "Everything checked out, you can go, very peaceful."
"Sounds good." Coulson replied. Talbot nodded his head, hanged up.
"This doesn't sound good." Coulson said to Skye and Barry.
"He's lying, for sure." Skye said.
"If Talbot's leading the mission, there'll be nothing peaceful about it." Coulson said, "And there's you, Mr. Allen, you're still an outlaw in their eyes, and last time the military has a man with super power in their grip, it didn't end pretty."
"You mean Thunderbolt Ross and the Hulk, right?" Barry asked.
"Yes, it's a big trouble that time, nearly broke five streets." Coulson said.
"Our base is fully functional, we can hold on." Skye said.
"The last thing SHIELD needs is having a war with the U. S. Army." Coulson said.
"Then what do we do?" Barry asked.
"Check the plane, we're out of here." Coulson said.
"Well, on the run again." Barry thought to himself.
