Barry, Coulson and May are walking towards the plane, "Most of the agents has decided to stay and surrender." May said to Coulson.
"Wish they can re-consider, we need every help we can get to take down HYDRA." Coulson said.
"And there's another bad news." May said.
"Oh, another one, great." Coulson said.
"Our fuel is running low." May said.
"Well, Talbot will land in less an hour, can you get us by air before then?" Coulson asked.
"Wheels up in 10 minutes." May replied. Then she left.
Coulson turned to Barry, said: "Mr. Allen, will you be joining us or you'll stay here?"
"I think you know the answer to that one, Agent Coulson." Barry replied, "The HYDRA is still in play, I couldn't sit this out."
"Good to have you here, Mr. Allen" Coulson said in smile.
"Please, call me Barry." Barry said in smile.
The plane has taken off, Barry met Coulson at the plane's corridor. "Please, Barry, do you have some good news about the plane?" Coulson asked in despair.
"Well…" Barry said, "I've just check the wire, the plane electric system is fully operational."
"Okay, better than nothing." Coulson sighed.
"Let's go see Skye, hope she can give us some uplifting news." Coulson said.
They met Skye at the computer room, Coulson asked: "Skye, do you have any good news?"
"Uh… we still have internet." Skye said.
"Hurray." Coulson said tiredly, "Boy, I've lowed mine expectations."
"But the HQ's supporting system is all gone." Skye said.
"Well, the internet it is." Coulson said, "I want you and Mr. Allen find everything about this team on the internet, and erase them all."
"Eh, Agent, you do know the consequences, right?" Barry asked, "You guys will be ghosts, will be nobody, don't you think this option is too…"
"It's our only option, Barry." Coulson replied, "Every government agency on the planet will be on my team's ass, this is the only way."
Barry sighed and nodded his head in understanding.
"Later, gather the team's SHIELD badge and give them to me." Coulson said, "The badge is useless now." Barry replied with a nod.
Barry put several badge on Coulson's desk, "This is not easy." Barry said, "The girl, Simmons, choked up when I asked for hers."
Barry looked at the badge sitting on the desk, "The SHIELD is over." Barry said in sadness.
"I thought you're not a big fan of SHIELD." Coulson said.
"An agency that has protect the world for decades has fallen, and a terrorist organization which want to dominate the entire world has risen." Barry said, "No one would be happy about this."
Barry looked at Coulson, said: "I could only imagine of what you're going through, you literally give out your life for SHIELD. Now it's all gone."
"You know, I was younger than you when Fury recruited me." Coulson suddenly said.
"Seriously?" Barry said in surprise.
"Yeah, just got out of high school." Coulson replied, "Some days it feels like yesterday."
Coulson gets up, take down the painting that hang behind him, reveals a secret compartment. Coulson enters the password, shows what inside, his own badge. Coulson put the rest of the badge in, just about to close, Barry suddenly saw something shows on Coulson's badge.
"Is that your badge?" Barry asked, "It's showing something."
Coulson take the badge out, there is a group of numbers on it. "What is it?" Barry asked.
"It looks like coordinates." Coulson said.
"Well, how did it get on it?" Barry asked in confuse.
"I only know one person who would sent these to me." Coulson said in smile, "And this it totally his style."
"Nick Fury." Barry realized.
Barry gathered the team in the control room, and give them a brief of the situation. Coulson walked in, holding the badge in his hand.
"Is Director Fury alive, sir?" Simmons asked.
"What does he say." Fitz asked, "Does he have a plan."
"It's unclear." Coulson replied, "He only send a coordinates."
"The coordinates should put us somewhere in the Canadian wilderness." Barry said.
"What exactly are we looking for there?" Skye asked.
"I don't know." Coulson said, "Maybe a rally point of some kind."
"It must be." Barry said, "Fury will prepare if this situation happens. The guy has a backup plan to the backup plan of his backup plan."
"Sir, has Director Fury ever contact you in this way?" Simmons asked.
"Never." Coulson replied.
"Then how could you be so sure?" Simmons asked,
"Because this is how he operates." Coulson replied.
"This could be a trap." Triplett said, "So far, everything has been a trap, HYDRA could have send you these coordinates."
"Nick Fury gave me this badge." Coulson said, "When he did, I swore an oath. We all did, to serve when everything else fails, to be humanity last line of defense, to be a shield. These coordinates will have to mean something. Fury also gave me this plane, anyone wants off, para-chute is in the bay. Help yourself."
Barry looked at Coulson, the man is following someone he believes in completely. Do Barry trust Fury's word? No, of course not. Can Barry trust Fury when a crisis has come Yes. No matter how much Barry doesn't like Fury's method. There's one thing he could never deny, Fury is a good commander and a hero who protects the world for years.
That's why Barry will follow Coulson, Fury is a sly fox, even if he dies, he will prepare for that. He'll prepare if the SHIELD has fallen. It has to be him or his man who sent that coordinates. It has to be him.
