To Time Emperor: I have to weaken him, man. Because if I don't, he'll be too strong, and there's no point of this story actually. Because no villians of Marvel able to stop Barry if he has the speed in the Dominator crossover. He can easily take out Ultron, Ten Rings, HYDRA, even Thanos! And about the power dampeners, I did mention them in Chapter 8, so perhaps you didn't notice? I'm a new author, so my writing isn't good. Sorry. And about grammar problems, English isn't my first language, so I'm gonna make mistakes, I'm trying to avoid them as best as I can, if you saw any, you're welcome to point them out. Bye...

Two hours later, the team is settling in at the Base, just then, the alarm went off. Skye rushed to the control room, asked: "What is it?"

"Someone's at the door." Barry answered, clicked a key on the keyboard. Then the screen shows the visitor's face.

"That's Ward." Skye said, "Let him in." Barry clicked the button to open the door.

"I'll go check on him." Skye said, then run out.

Med-room

Jemma is treating Ward's injures, "This might leave a scar." She said to him.

"The upside is, you'll look badass, dangerous." Skye said to him. Barry smiled a little, he can say for sure that there's something going on between these two.

"So? What happened?" Coulson asked.

Ward sighed and said: "The army came in first, we have more man than them, but Agent Hand decides it's not a good idea to go on a war with them, so she told us to surrender. Then, the HYDRA came in, the army failed to stop them, we tried to fought with HYDRA, but there's no use, Agent Hand died in the process. They took over everything, I got myself out, tried to save more agents, but there's to many HYDRA."

"What are they after?" Barry asked.

"Everything." Ward answered, "Weapons, alien artifact, anything they can grab on."

"I assume the prisoners are no longer prisoners." Coulson said.

"They got out, all of them." Ward answered.

"So Inn Quinn is also…" Skye said.

"I'm sorry, he got away." Ward said.

"What about Garrett, did he get away." Coulson asked.

"Couldn't stop the HYDRA from taking the fridge, but I'm not gonna let Garrett walk." Ward answered.

"Did he do this to you?" Skye asked.

"He was a tough son of a bitch." Ward said.

"Was?" May asked.

"As soon I got the upper hand, I shot him in the head, two times." Ward said, "One for me, one for you." He said to Trip.

"I would've empty the magazine." Trip answered.

"You're all good." Jemma said to Ward, "Well, as good as you can be at this status, two broken ribs and a zygomatic fracture."

Fitz said: "For those who don't know, it means…"

"A hairline fracture to the cheekbone." Barry answered.

Fitz looked at him with surprise, "A friend of mine is a doctor." Barry replied, "Bio-engineer to be precise, she always talks about this sort of stuff."

"Your body needs time to heal, take it slowly." Jemma said to Ward.

"Well, we have one small victory." Ward said, takes out a hard drive from his pocket, "The HYDRA didn't get this."

"What is it?" Trip asked.

"The hard drive, it contains all the research that we have ever done." Skye said, "Downloaded off from the plane, encrypted for safekeeping. Now we're in a safe facility, we should back it up." She takes the hard drive.

"First of all, Skye, I need you to do a danger assessment, I need to know how bad the situation is." Coulson said.

Several hours later

Coulson, May, Ward and Barry surrounds by Skye side, listening her to report the status. "This is really, really bad." Skye said, "Quinn is like the least scary of them, who shot me twice in the past."

"Quinn is more of a sociopath, most criminals kept in there are full blown psychopaths, psychopaths with superpowers." Coulson replied, "No offense." He said to Barry.

"None taken." Barry replied.

"Is Marcus Daniels on the list?" Coulson asked.

"Yeah. Why'd you ask?" Skye asked.

Barry looked at Coulson, he looks more worried than usual. Coulson said: "Cross check the crime database with the list of inmates, I have a feeling that crime rate is gonna be higher."

"Well, okay, it'll take some time, and I need something more powerful than my laptop." Skye answered.

"Ask Koenig, I'm sure he'll help you." Coulson said.

"You plane you flew here, is it still operational?" Coulson asked.

"Yeah, do you need me to pilot?" Ward asked.

"You heard Simmons, stay here and rest." Coulson said, "I'll take a squad and go out, begin to search for the inmates on the list. Starting with Marcus, I think I know where he'll go."

"Do you really think it's a good idea to split up and leave the base?" May said, "What if this is HYDRA's plan, distraction."

"She's got a point." Ward said, "Fury bought you to this base for a reason, we're safe here."

"Yes, we're safe. But what about the everyone else, the one who doesn't have access to an secret underground shelter." Coulson said. "I don't know if this is a wise move, but it is a right move, I'm taking a team with me, end of story."

"No, no way, you can't leave this base." Koenig's response is quite intense when Barry and Coulson came to see him and ask to leave the base, "There're rules, there're protocols."

"The entire SHIELD has collapsed, maybe this is not the best time to follow protocols." Coulson said.

"Okay, fine. Forget the protocols, what part of the 'Secret Base' don't you understand?" Koenig said, "Fury said only you can enter, and you showed up with a bunch of people."

"A group of agents and an Avenger!" Coulson replied.

"The point this, now you all know the location of the base, but I don't really know you fellas." Koenig said.

"The HYDRA has just let out all the criminals of the Fridge into the wild, there'll be violence, people will die, I thought it was SHIELD's job to protect the world." Barry said.

Koenig sighed and said: "Fine. But no one can leave until they've finished the Orientation."

"What's that?" Barry asked.

Author's Note: Hi, fellas, I know I've disappeared for nearly month without notice. The thing is, my dad has bought a series of Marvel books for me. And I had this habit, if I saw a series of book I like, I'll focus only on it until I've finished it. That's how I spent all my free time during the past twenty days. But I'm back alright, for real this time. This chapter basicly follows the canons, I'll update shortly, I think, I can't made any promises. Okay, bye! AAMF out!
