"Rose is back? Like back from Hell?",Voria said in shock.

"That's impossible though, we sacrificed her in order to get our powers.",Rufus said.

"Well apparently it isn't impossible because she is back. And to make matters worse, she has powers of her own now.",Cleo said before her crow's eyes glowed and projected images of Rose talking to Devon and of Drow fighting the demon. The group looked at the images then Balrog said,"Interesting. Wonder how she got the armor."

"You can ask her that later. For now we need to figure out what we need to do.",Cleo said as the image disappeared and she crossed her arms. The group looked at one another then Jacoby said,"Uh, why don't we go and fight her. I mean she can't take us all on right?"

"Yeah, I like that idea.",Balrog said with an evil smile.

"Um excuse me, I don't know if you've both realized this but that idea, while effective, would cause us to be exposed. Only reason we're at the places we are now is because we've been able to keep a low profile and go unnoticed for what we are, well all of us save for Adonis.",Hezekiahsaid, to which Adonis just shrugged.

Balrog scoffed, then she said,"So what do you want us to do, Hezekiah?"

"I say we send out demons to fight her, wait till the opportune time then we go after her ourselves.",Hezekiah said.

"That's a stupid idea.",Balrog said with anger.

"Of course you think that, Balrog. You disagree with any plan that doesn't involve you fighting or causing mayhem.",Cleo said. Balrog scowled at Cleo. Cleo then looked at Hezekiah and said,"I agree with Hezekiah and think his plan will have the most success. For now at least."

"Same here. I'd rather not fight anybody, it'd be too much work.",Rufus said.

"I am down with that plan.",Voria said.

"Same here.",Jacoby said while raising his hand.

"Eh, I want to get recognized for my work but I think this is a good idea. So I vote yes.",Adonis said, rather smugly.

"Then it's settled, we go along with my idea till further notice. So, Jacoby go make a demon of someone.",Hezekiah said with a grin. Jacoby looked at Hezekiah and said,"Why me?"

"Because you're the first bloke I saw. Now quit whining and go make a demon.",Hezekiah said. Jacoby gained a solemn look then he walked out of the room. Balrog scoffed, then she said,"I'm leaving." before she left.

Currently at Devon's house, Devon sat on his couch watching Tv then he looked at Rose as she came into the room saying,"Okay, why are these clothes so tight?"

Devon looked Rose up and down, seeing that she now wore a pink shirt and skinny jeans, then he said,"Because that's what girls like to wear, I think. Look I had to call my sister and ask her what clothes to get you so blame her not me."

"How could you talk to your sister if she's not here? Are you a soothsayer?",Rose questioned. Devon sighed then he said,"No I'm not, whatever that is. I just have this handy device called a cell phone." while holding up his cell phone. Rose raised an eyebrow then said,"Your sister is in that little device?"

"No, see this device allows me to talk to my sister as well as any other person I want to talk to by using these things called radio waves among a bunch of other sciencey stuff I can't accurately describe.",Devon said. Rose nodded as she said,"Okay I'm going to pretend like I understood that and go change." before she went back into Devon's room. Devon huffed then minutes later, Rose came out of his room and said,"This feels better."

Devon looked at Rose to see that she was wearing a black tank top with a red and white graphic on the front and red and white gym shorts. Devon blinked then said,"Okay. Wasn't expecting you to pick that to wear but it's your choice."

Rose nodded, then she plopped down next to Devon as he asked,"So Rose, do you have a plan or something that'd help you in some way?"

Rose thought on a plan for a few moments then she said,"No not really. I mean what I want is revenge, but there's no way any of my team is still alive after two thousand years."

"True, but maybe they had kids and now their descendants are around. You could go to them and ask about your old team.",Devon suggested. Rose nodded, then she said,"Well let's get going then."

"Going? Going where?",Devon asked as Rose stood up and walked to the door. Rose turned to Devon before saying,"Let's get going so I can find my team's descendants."

"We don't need to go anywhere to do that. I can just look them up on my computer.",Devon said while getting up and walking over to a desk that had a desktop computer on it. Rose walked over to Devon as he sat down in the office chair that was in front of the desk. Devon put his hands on the keyboard then said,"So, what were the names of your team members?"

"What is this thing?",Rose questioned. Devon sighed then he said,"It's going to be a long day." before he began explaining what a computer was to Rose.

Out in the city, Jacoby was walking around looking for someone to change into a demon. He stood in a rather crowded courtyard-like area looking around, eventually saying,"Ah man, why did I have to get picked to make the demon. Hezekiah knows it's difficult for me to find someone with a suitable amount of envy in them."

Jacoby grimaced and ruffled his hair. He gained a defeated expression and began walking until he saw a teenage girl walk by him. Jacoby smirked, then said,"She'll do nicely."

Jacoby then followed this teenage girl with his eyes changing to be red.

Back with Rose and Devon, after about twenty minutes of explaining Devon was now typing out a name on the search engine before pressing enter. The results came up and an old picture of Jacoby came up which made Devon say with astonishment,"What the?!"

"What? Do you know Jacoby?",Rose questioned. Devon looked at Rose then said,"Not personally but I know him. This guy is one of the leading software engineers in the city. He used to be in your squad?"

"Yep, he was a cowardly bastard and had a bit of a thing for being a panicky mess.",Rose said before she went to the door. Devon followed after Rose then said,"Wait, don't you want to check and see if your other teammates are alive?"

"Nope. If Jacoby is alive, then the others are too. How they are; I don't know. But I'm sure Jacoby will tell me once I beat it out of him.",Rose said with determination. Devon nodded then he said,"Well, if we are going then put these on." while handing Rose a pair of sandals. Rose looked at the sandals then she took them and put them on her feet before saying,"Oh, these are much more comfortable than what I had to wear in my time."

Devon and Rose then exited Devon's house.

About an hour later, Devon and Rose were sitting on the steps of a high school with Rose having her chin in her hands. Devon looked at Rose then said,"You didn't think this whole plan through did you?"

"No, I did. It's just that this place is so foreign to me. There's nothing I remember around and APPARENTLY, in your time it's looked down upon to start fights with people who get on your nerves.",Rose said in an annoyed tone.

"Well that's what happens after 3,000 years; things change.",Devon said. Rose sighed then said,"I'm so freaking annoyed now. If only I could fight something."

Suddenly Rose felt the tingling sensation in the back of her neck and she sat up straight while saying,"I'm getting that feeling again."

"What feeling?",Devon questioned. Rose then stood up as a lizard demon with grey scaled skin, razor sharp green teeth and hair, and blood red eyes appeared in front of them. The lizard demon slashed her claws at Rose, who dodged the claws then punched the demon in the face twice then kicked it in the chest, causing the demon to stumble back. Rose smirked, then she said,"Thanks for showing up lizard demon. I can use you to get rid of my frustration."

Rose's belt then appeared around her waist and she said,"Henshin." while throwing her sandals at the demon then charging at it, changing into Drow.

"RAZE HELL, DROW! FLAME FORM!"

Drow punched the demon in the face then dodged a swipe of its claws before parrying another by kicking the demon in the head. She then kneed the demon in the chin before elbowing it in the chest. The lizard demon stumbled back then roared and Drow chuckled before charging at it.

Devon continued sitting where he was and watching Drow fight, even commenting,"She's really good at fighting."

Devon then turned his head to the right of where he was and he saw Jacoby watching the fight from a nearby alley. Devon immediately stood and said,"Hey! Rose, I found Jacoby!"

Jacoby turned to Devon and gasped before he began running away, with Devon following him. Jacoby ran further into the alley then he turned around and changed form so that he was now a jackalwere that had lime green fur, black claws, and blood red eyes. He was also now wearing brown robes that had fabrics of all colors stitched onto the sleeves, back and tail. These robes also had a hood that Jacoby wore over his head that had holes for his ears.

Devon saw Jacoby transform and he gasped while stopping in his tracks. Jacoby smirked then said,"Yeah, not so tough now that you see me like this."

"What the heck are you?",Devon said in fear. Jacoby chuckled smugly then said,"Wait a minute, I shouldn't have transformed. Now you'll tell Rose and she'll know that I'm the sin of Envy. Why did I say that out loud?!"

Devon raised an eyebrow then said,"Wow, you must be envious of the others if they're not as incompetent as you are."

"They aren't and I am. Wait, shut up!",Jacoby said before summoning a halberd and swinging it at Devon. Devon dodged the halberd then he dodged it again before punching Jacoby in the chest, causing him to stumble back. Devon gritted his teeth and shook his hand before saying,"What the crap?"

"Ha ha, you touched my fur. I can't be touched, remember that saying that jealousy eats away at you. Well it's true, cause my fur is like acid to any human.",Jacoby said with triumph. Devon's eyes widened then he dodged Jacoby's halberd again before getting grabbed by the jackalwere and getting tossed into a dumpster. Jacoby chuckled at how Devon fell to the ground then he said,"Now, I should probably turn you into a demon so you can get killed by Rose. Yeah yeah that'll work."

Devon groaned as he tried to get to his feet and as Jacoby neared him then a blinding light appeared between him and Jacoby. The light died down and a man stood between the two in armor. The armor of this man was white with gold accents along the shins, gauntlets, and torso armor. The shoulder pads resembled that of an eagle's claws with the majority being white and the actual talons being gold. The undersuit was gold with a blue chain pattern on it. The helmet was based on an eagle with the back resembling feathers in a spiked fashion and a silver mouthplate under the beak and a blue visor in the shape of eyes. The helmet was also white in color with the beak going in between the eyes and being gold. There was a huge brace on the armored man's left wrist that was white and was in the shape of closed angel wings.

Jacoby gained a fearful expression then he said,"Oh crap, not you. I, I can't fight you." before slamming his halberd on the ground and disappearing in a pillar of green flames. The armored man scoffed then he turned to Devon and helped him up. Devon stared at the man then said,"Thanks. Are you an angel?"

The armored man simply nodded then he took off the brace on his arm and put it on Devon's left arm. The armored man then turned into just armor and went into the brace. Devon looked at the brace on his arm with confusion then he said,"My life just continues to get weirder."

Meanwhile, Drow was slashed across the chest by the lizard demon then she kicked it in the head before punching it in the face. Drow then took off her scarf, the scarf changing into her scythe, and put the buckle of her belt into the hilt.

"PENANCE BREAK!",The scythe announced as blood red flames engulfed and surged from the scythes blade. Drow then slashed the lizard demon down the middle then across the chest and it exploded while roaring in agony. Drow relaxed herself then changed back into Rose, who had a satisfied smirk on her face as she said,"That felt good."

Rose then looked at Devon as he stood beside her and asked,"Hey Devon, where'd you go?"

"I went after Jacoby. He was watching you fight from an alley and I chased him in there.",Devon said. Rose's eyes widened then she said with happiness,"Really?! Did you beat him up and make it so I can get him?"

"Uh, no. He got away. But not before revealing to me that he's the sin of Envy and that he's really incompetent.",Devon revealed. Rose groaned in frustration then she said,"Wait? He's the sin of Envy. Which must mean the others are the other deadly sins and that they're alive. Which means I can get my revenge on them."

"I don't think getting revenge is going to solve anything.",Devon said before he had a baffled expression on his face. "Don't know where that came from."

"Well wherever it came from, I'm ignoring it. Revenge will solve something and since they're the seven deadly sins; it also means I'm ridding the world of seven of the worst demons ever to exist.",Rose said, obviously trying to reason with Devon. Devon nodded before he said,"Oh yeah, there was this guy in white armor that showed up too and he gave this brace before he turned into armor and went inside it." and showed Rose the brace on his wrist. Rose nodded then said,"Interesting. Okay, I'm hungry now. Where can we get food?"

Devon looked around then said,"I think there's a restaurant around here."

Rose and Devon then began walking away from where they were. Devon then noticed Rose's sandals were missing and he asked,"Where'd you sandals go?"

"I threw them at the demon as a distraction and it destroyed them. Don't worry, I actually prefer being barefoot.",Rose said. Devon shrugged as he and Rose continued to walk.

Elsewhere, Jacoby appeared in an apartment and he changed back to his human appearance. He let out a sigh of relief then he went over to his kitchen and turned on the light before he was slammed against the wall by Balrog. Balrog then grabbed Jacoby by his collar and pulled him close before saying,"Hey Jacoby, I need your assistance for a bit as well as some info. Think you can help?" in a voice that showed anger and insistence.

Jacoby nodded fervently while apprehensively saying,"Sure Balrog. I'll do anything you want. You know that."

Balrog smirked while saying,"Good, now tell me about your encounter with Rose's new companion today."
